I seriously hope this is a joke or bait thread.

NOED is a crutch though. However, who tf cares? It has a counter.

Yanking isn't broken if you've still got one good hand :chuffed:

The OP is only asking for a nerf to those specific add-ons.Wolf74 said:Yea, just nerf one of the top killer.
We need less viable killer at high rank.
Just trash every killer to Leatherface level or better Freddy.
However, I don't think InstaSaw Billy needs a nerf. It already got nerfed by the Tinkerer change.

Pretty much...

How did this seem like a good idea to you?

Survivors only got meme perks? Deliverance is my new favorite perk. Secondly, are you really gonna tell me killer is easy and survivor is hard? The killers I faced last night would like to have a word with you.Croz said:@Orion said:

I think making struggle phase more rewarding while in the killer's terror radius should fix camping. As in if you're being camped and you get to the struggle phase you get enough point to black pip or if you had enough objective at some point it might be enough to pip. This will encourage survivors who are being camped to stay and waste the killer's time. Being camped is not fun and in most cases players just suicide on hook when they realize they're being camped to just go to the next game and that in my opinion is why some killers still do it looking for the one hook kills and easy wins.
I think making looping phase more rewarding while being within a certain radius from the survivor should fix looping. If youre been looped and you follow the survivor, then you get enough emblem points as if the survivor didnt loop.
This will encourage killers who are being looped to stay and waste the survivors time. Being looped is not fun and in most cases killers just camp after being looped when they realize that they have been looped for several gens and just wiat till the game is over and proceed with the next game.
Btw, killers camp because survivors reward them for doing it and throwing each other at the hook instead of simply doing their objective, and yes thats an easy win if the survivors are stupid enough

Well maybe you need to be smarter and know when and where to break chase if someone is looping you for a long time then it means you're just being hard headed about that particular survivor instead of trying to look for other survivors who are not being pressured and doing their objective freely.
Not to mention they have nerfed looping to the ground with the vacuum changes and the fast window vaults angle. If you get looped for a long time then maybe you need to get better at the game.
TL;DR: The Survivor should be able to put the Killer in a situation where they have no choice but to let them go.
I think that says enough about you.I don't think you follow the point really. The game is supposed to be fun. Killers who camp make the game dull. You're supposed to chase survivors and stop them from doing the objective. It's a 1v4 game not a 1v1. If your objective is to hook and camp one person until they die and ruin the game for them so the rest can escape or pray they do dumb ######### trying to save their friend for you to get an easy win then I'm pretty sure it's safe to say you're doing it wrong.
All I'm saying is that camping is part of the game indeed but make it less punishing on survivors cuz killers use it as a strategy to pull a cheap win most of the time. Also there is 3 hook stages for a reason. If you get outplayed and looped for 4 gens then that's on you bud. Better luck next game. Not to mention the game has gotten much easier for killers now. Oh yea I forgot the fact that you have 0 ping every game as well which is already an advantage. Oh and the wonderful hit-boxes where you can hit survivors while being stunned by a pallet somehow. It's only fair to ask for something to make the game more enjoyable for survivors since the devs have nerfed survivors for the past 6-7 patches straight and gave killers meta changing perks within the few last releases where we got meme perks as survivors.
TL;DR: git gud.

And while you're finding a totem(s), survivors can sit there and genrush uninterrupted.steezo_de said:@Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:

I don't think Trapper is weak. I usually do well with him.

Everybody on this forum has played the game for at least five minutes.

I'm eager to see what's in store for Freddy! Hopefully they make him viable and fun to face... Here's hoping!

Very few killers camp to be toxic. Some do it because they see scratchmarks around the hook, some run Insidious and try to bait the hook, some want to punish the toxic survivor.
I personally only camp if I know survivors are around. I don't even camp toxic people, as I find it's more effective to just tunnel their ass off the hook. -
Probably not, tbh. If this were to be a common thing in DbD, it won't be treated special. It might cause farming for the first week or so, but shortly after that it'll be business as usual.Terratoast said:Though thinking on it, my suggestion might make farming games more common. And I feel like that's against the spirit of the game.

Come on... You gotta try harder than that.

-
Ok, I see. So now Michael should go buy a red squeaky nose, big shoes, and go work for Freddy at the Clown emporium?
-
This is so stupid that I'm going to write this off as a bait thread.
-
Course he doesn't need a buff. All he needs is a big red clown nose and shoes.
-
I got called a lagswitcher, a tunneler, and a camping cuck last night. He spammed me like 7 or 8 voice messages telling me I'm a tunneling POS then invited me to his 4 man SWF group chat to try to bully me.
I only camped the toxic t-bagging Nea when she was on her second hook. I didn't tunnel anyone either. In fact, I made it a point to ignore them if I saw the unhooker. I only ever chased the unhooked guy if they were the only one I seen.
So after they all had their little tantrum with me, I roasted all of them and then I left. -
So a killer that doesn't play by your rules needs to get banned?
-
You're absolutely right. Weakest killer in the game doesn't need buffs at all. We need a killer who can not only be a meme to the community, but also a clown to the survivors in the game. We should nerf all killers to Freddy's level.
In fact, they should slap some big red squeaky noses and shoes on each of the killers.

There's no way to truly balance DS with the way it works.
-If you lose a hook stage, all survivors will wait till death hook to use it.
-If it gives the broken status effect, it still gives a free escape at the cost of healing (but who needs to heal when you can loop all game?)
-If you trigger a bleedout timer similar to BT, thats still an extra 15-20 seconds of chasing, THEN you have to waste time picking them back up and running to the nearest hook.
DS needs to be reworked. Give it only a stun, or completely rework it. -
-
Deliverance, Dead Hard/Balanced Landing, Self-Care, Urban Evasion, Technician, Alert, and Botany Knowledge
-
Here's an idea:
Learn to face her. Learn what her strengths and weaknesses are. Be more alert when you know it's a Pig and she'll almost never be able to ambush you. -
Lol you tricked me there.
Back to your post... Agreed. -
NOED can get a nerf after DS bites the bullet.
-
Dribbling is fine and legit according to the devs.

While thinking this up I figured it could use a nice bonus for the endgame. However @Nickenzie had a really good idea that I prefer.fcc2014 said:@Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:
What if Tinkerer gave 0 TR for the rest of the match after all the gens are powered? What do you guys think?Edit: Instead of getting a permanent endgame boost, receive a TR drop for x amount of seconds (I think 4 would suffice) after hooking a survivor.
Probably not a popular opinion but if a killer burns a spot for tinkerer make it powerful. Zero terror radius after the first generator for the rest of the game. It adds the scare factor back in the game. It was a bug awhile back and i enjoyed playing against it and would love to be able to play with it as killer. What would be so bad about making it one of the meta perks in the game?
-

Nuff said. -
I don't use Tinkerer. I've had a plethora of killers use Tinkerer against me at rank 1. I've NEVER been surprised by it, it hasn't done ANYTHING to ever hinder any of the matches I'm in. You might as well run Monitor and Abuse.TigerKirby215 said:"Tinkerer" "weak perk"
@Dudddd said:
Bait post obviously. For the record I'm Rank 3 Killer right now so don't call me an "entitled Survivor main." Though I know that means absolutely nothing since Rank 20 Killers can go around pretending to be Rank 1 and make suggestions like giving Killers permanent Jumpscare Myers along with NOED.
If the perk's not working for you here's an idea: try using it more effectively. Don't run it on Killers who literally scream their location to the Survivors and try to actually be stealthy with a stealth perk.
-
I agree, Tinkerer (in my opinion) is a very weak perk. I like your idea, it would make the perk not so horrible. I see no use in it in it's current form if you aren't Billy or Nurse.Nickenzie said:
When you say "All", I'm assuming that you mean that "Tinkerer will reduce your terror radius to 0 when all generators are completed for a infinite amount of time." I'm kinda iffy since some killers like Nurse, Billy, Spirit, and etc can thrive without any counterplay to be honest and some killers wouldn't be able to make use of the 0 TR. I don't think your idea is bad but I feel like we can take a different direction with the perk. In my opinion, I just feel like tinkerer needs a secondary effect overall. What it does now is underwhelming and isn't practical to use since most killers cannot make use from it. So why not make the perk decrease your terror radius every time a generator is completed when keeping the current effect?Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:What if Tinkerer gave 0 TR for the rest of the match after all the gens are powered? What do you guys think?
Tinkerer: Your senses allow you to sneak up to your prey. When a generator is repaired to 75%, see a visual cue in that generator's location while your terror radius is reduced to 0 for 10/15/20 seconds. Every generator will permanently reduce your terror radius by 1/2/3 meters. -
Maybe that could be the buff rather than it being in the endgame.akbays35 said:I think there should be a perk that gives you 0 tr when you hook a survivor, but I think that would be a nice add on for tinkerer.
-
Fair enoughHellDescent said:I don't think it needs it. Tinkerer by itself is already a solid perk. Players who use insidious, would just get it for free at the the end without using a perk slot for it. It would be a big buff for Leatherface and Freddy though.

I was just looking to get it buffed because I've never had Tinkerer affect me in any way. Not even by a Billy or a Nurse. -

Lol @TigerKirby215 @Dudddd triggered survivor mains. I simply made a suggestion to make a weak perk better at the endgame. Next time try coming up with legit points.
Oh wait I forgot, survivor is too hard. DS is used only once per game, so it must be balanced, amirite? -
DS needs a nerf though.Dudddd said:
The fact that noed got buffed baby killers are still talking about DS nerf .. -
I'm giving BHVR the benefit of the doubt. I think they know not to screw that up because it would upset a fair portion of the community.Wolf74 said:@Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:
Wolf74 said:Solo survivor should just use their brain.
Following some simpler rules will bring them on the same level as SWF.
Use Self Care.
Use an exhaustion perk (SB, DH or BL)
Spread out, do different gens.
Every survivor has to cleanse at least ONE (dull) totem.
If you get chased, try to lose the killer.
If you can't lose the killer, waste his time.
If your outside a chase, do gens or heal.
Only do safe unhooks and never try to combat a camper
.:edit:.
If you are on the hook and get camped, flap your arms
Well the thing is... We have to buff solos to SWF level if we want to see hefty killer buffs. If we keep solos as they are now, we'll only see killers get miniscule buffs that contribute nothing.
If solos were to get built-in Kindred and voice comms.. I imagine every new patch would have some really good buffs. We might even see secondary objectives be added quickly.
The problem will be that they might give buffs to solo survivor, but without buffing the killer.

Yes, please buff this perk to make it even more OP!

My Pharmacy and Botany Knowledge combo will be even more powerful!
Who TF runs pharmacy?
Emergency Med-Kit Charges with New Botany Knowledge 30%/35%/40% efficiency: 40 Charges, enough to heal yourself twice with a 40% increase to healing speed.
Since the Emergency Med-kit has a efficiency bonus built-in to it, let's say it adds a 10% efficiency bonus since I don't know how much moderately is. We're talking about a 48 charge Emergency Med-kit without add-ons, enough to heal yourself three times. Dirty, please make this more broken so I can keep using this combo!
Emergency Med-Kit: +10% Efficiency
New Botany Knowledge: +40% Efficiency
Self Care: +20% Efficiency
StreetWise: +15% Efficiency
Total Charges:65 Charges, enough to heal yourself three times!
