Nea should be able to run the killer around for 5 gens. Her bio and her perks basically describe her as a person who knows how to make the best of her environment and any items she may find, i.e. a flashlight. You aren't giving the street smart survivor enough credit. You're lucky i gave her ANY credit to begin with, and you're not looking into the numbers of how long a gen could take if the killer has any kind of totem to slow down gen progression, Nea doesn't seem like someone to run the killer, she just doesn't. Her perks revolve around her being stealthy, hence why a lot of people play her. And like i said, this is just my opinion, sorry you thought you're saddened by your favorite survivor not being able to run the killer.
Not trying to sound rude, but how can a Constantly Scared Person (Dwight), A Cowardly Medic (Claud.), A Fat Person (Jeff), Someone who can't even stay awake (Quentin), and a Lucky Person (Who's only staying alive because of luck) (Ace) Run more gens on average than a fast and nimble person who escaped the law multiple times from her abilities. I honestly think there's some bias you either don't know (and don't try, I can see you trying to not put bias) or you have some bias you didn't try to have. I see her as the person who always gets the killer lost, and makes him confused in a chase, she has Streetwise (HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA GET IT, IT ONE OF HER PERKS!!!!!! sorry) and can use the environment. I honestly can see her running the killer for 3-4 gens.
But even if you disagree with my 3-4 gens, I have one question. Why does (on average) Claudette runs more gens then Nea. Sure bother like to hide, but only one has a exhaustion perk, is smart on her feet, is Street-smart, not a coward (As she like to commit the crime grafting over and over, not being scared of the cops getting her, and even hanging out with other people who like to tag (This is proven when in her bio she got sucked up into the realm because a friend dared her to tag the asylum that was abandoned by herself. And was even good escaping the cops.), and like I said, was sneaky enough to get out of tough situations like the cops. You said Nea would have no clue where to run... But how would Claudette know!?!? So can you please explain to me how Claudette on average (always 2) beats Nea (Sometimes 2, Sometimes 1, that's like 1.5 average)?
(Sorry if I sounded mean, I didn't intend to if I did)
(Also, if you were going to say what I said was bias, ((which I didn't think you were, but just in case)) I actually prefer Claudette to Nea, it's just lore wise I have no clue how Claudette would survive longer)When i look at Nea, i don't see someone who would be able to run the killer for any certain amount of gens, She is a stealth based character, hence why one of her perks is only revolved around stealth. What i am talking about are survivors who FULLY engage with the killer or get found by the killer and manage to keep him busy for a certain amount of time. Yes she can use the environment, but i can't see her being able to run a killer and evade him through stealth based play.

Depends, people have called me a lot of things except "toxic tapp" what were you playing as and who was there?
And what did i do that was considered "Toxic"
It was on Coal Tower. I was Legion. The Tapp I played against was named "Detective Jonathan" and did a fair deal of flashlight clicking, especially when they managed to avoid a hit by camping at a pallet.
Did i manage to get a flashlight save off of this Legion who was playing the E-girl Susie and was about to carry David King to a hook?
No, I was playing Frank, but I did have Susie’s mask.
Then it wasn't me, because i remember playing against E-girl Susie and saving David from being hooked on Coal Tower.

The fact that some people actually gave this guy vote ups is kind of sad.
Listen buddy, you should try and give killer a try and see how being stabbed in the back feels, as someone who plays both sides, it sickens me to have to sit here and read these threads of all the crying and complaining about how something is't going your way. If you don't like the change, then all i can tell you is don't run the perk. Other than that, Have fun running the same boring perk to the same boring playstyle.

Nice now you’ve made another perk useless because anyone with a brain can just slug the survivor until the 60 seconds has ran out....I like how noed will not be changed also definitely gives me a reason to distance from this gameAll the more reason to not get caught again :chuffed:
-
I like the perk change, it counters tunneling and it forces the killer to go for someone else, by this time you go for someone again the perk will be worthless. I don't really use the perk too much except when i want to be toxic after facing so many legions, but i mean we'll just have to see how it turns out.
-
Either Meg or Claudette: Claudette simply because she has that "shy but is lowkey a freak" look and Meg simply because i like white girls.
Killer: Huntress or Spirit. If you just take out the glass on spirit and have take away the childlike persona the huntress has.
-
Yea it's the satisfaction for me, considering that survivors have limited tools to fight back against the killer i always try to play the protector role when i bring one in.
-
If there are no rules in the realm of The Entity, what makes you think there are rules in the game itself.
-
If this is about who i think it's about, then i can only have one answer for it. These people like to provide content, they like to be able to show that they are better than people that don't have any kind of skill in the game, and those people have the excuse of "Red Ranks is boring, there is no variety" Honestly, for me, there is plenty of Variety to the point to where i wish i got Billies and Nurses all the time. These people have the whole "I don't want to face the same person" excuse as well, and as well, i never face the same person unless i stream snipe them or something, but never would i ever find the same person again.
These people do these things because they want to feel powerful, and then when you call them out they play the victim card and then send their mass following of people to attack you and whatnot, now, either i am speaking from my personal experience of this happening or what but i mean, it's the truth. When you tell these people that it is morally wrong to do this, they just laugh it off because they need to provide "Content" and some of them don't like being told the truth and that they should at least be some kind of role model for their community that they are providing content for.
Now, i've already expressed my opinion about people who De-rank and what should be the consequence for those that do such practice, but i will say this again. If these people need to De-rank just because they need to what "Get better queue times" or "I don't like facing the same person" just to provide content, then i guess the content that you provided before then was boring then, and it's boring now, because i don't see anything fun with trying to make someone elses experience of the game unfun, Oh, and then complain about the same things that killers use to make your experience fun.
-
I do have some kind of theory as to how this game could end, expect a thread soon.

@PiiFree said:
Yea, the deranking is a serious issue but the fact that even those promoted "Fog Whisperer" can do it happily in front of their crowd kinda proves that it's not a big deal for the devs, at least to me.It's difficult to balance the game around high skill and low skill at the same time. We all wish for a balanced playground in all skill brackets but to achieve this, they'd have to finally create a meaningful ranking system and matchmaking. As long as people with 1000+ hours can safely and more or less effortless play in low rank, no matter how much they balance the game it will always stay unbalanced when high rank players meet low rank players.
So, first steps:
- Meaningful Ranking System (also remove rank reset)
- Proper Matchmaking System (especially within SWFs)
- Punish deranking
Then try to balance the game for all skill brackets. Give low rank players more training wheels if that helps. Nothing gamebreaking, just to help them get used to the mechanics and stuff. Point out what they should do, for example if NOED activates, to prevent the same thing from happening again.
Then balance the game around high skill players. That's just my opinon but I believe that's the only way to truly balance the game so that skill becomes the deciding factor when it comes to winning matches.
As long as they didn't take care of those first steps, it seems pointless to try and balance the game. In most cases, the skill differences in each match are way too massive to provide an even playground and balance won't fix that, it will just screw it even more.
It sucks that people who hold that title can't even make themselves a proper role model for the game.

Can a person rebecome a survivor? No, they go to The Void when The Entity has no use for them anymore.
How does the Entity decide if a player goes to the void or becomes a killer?
@TheHourMan said:
Vigo is last killer confirmed. Not necessarily, he could be in the void, and we can’t confirm otherwise until we know how the Entity chooses.
Also, you said, ‘void.’ Where is the void? Is it in the spirit realm?
There is more info on it in the official wiki, but i'll try to describe it best i can here.
The Void is essentially a sub-realm within the realm of The Entity, in this void there are husks of the survivors, when the survivor is all drained of their hope, they either become a killer or they are sent to The Void.
We know the first killer was sent to The Void as punishment because it was unsuccessful in providing food for The Entity.
As for choosing who becomes a killer, in the real world, The Entity would be summoned by someone committing a heinous act, it would then cut a whole from its universe into our world and pick the person that did the killing and bring them into it's realm, now i theorize that at the same time while this is happening, The Entity brings in the new survivor as well.

"How about we all just admit it"
How about you don't tell me what to admit, and stop complaining about what people run. Let me break it down for you, back then, NOED used to be a permanent thing, and due to people complaining, it was then nerfed to where it was only active for a certain duration. Like Bloodwarden is now, then it received another update to what it is now. And it is probably the most balanced thing in the game.
NOED can be easily countered by breaking totems, everyone knows this, but everyone is too busy trying to do objectives that they forgot that totems are a secondary objective in the game. When you break all the totems on the map, you don't have to worry about NOED.
This post was simply made because you either
A. Died to NOED
B. One of your friends (that is if you played with any) died to it and you got madEither one of those choices, there is no way you just decided to make this post out of the blue like that.

Ruin is one of few tools that help slow the game down (just a little bit). Some killers can do without it but against skilled survivors they need to impose massive pressure. Its really easy.
Feng Min got traditional chinese dress, cause she is Chinese herself.
Ace got his skin, cause Chinese New Year heavily connected with luck and good fortune. As we know, Ace is kinda represents luck.
Huntress got her skin, cause she already had some animal-themed masks. And, well, cause Pig can't really get new skin, since Amanda is licensed character.Well unlike you, i just like to delve deep into the lore of certain things, i did the same thing with The Nurse and The Wraith when their cosmetics were released, since the devs are making this up as they go. Lol, i study a lot of the lore of this game. I basically reside in this section of the forum.
But hey, having a female lovecraftian being as the main antagonist of the game doesn't bother me one bit, she seems to be a very malevolent being considering how she severely punishes those that don't bring in her food, seeing as how she punished The Cannibal to the point to where it left marks on his chainsaw.

Well the thing is, she is constantly in pain, considering she was hacked up by her own father. And it's kind of like the old story of humpty dumpty, she wasn't really put back together, The Entity simply did what it could and just sent her out. So she still feels pain basically, considering she's stuck in a never-ending loop of it.Think of it like this, whenever the nurse blinks. She is in pain, that is why she screams. So when The Spirit enters her ethereal plane and then comes out of it to make a strike, she is kind of putting herself back together into her physical form. Which results in a lot of pain. There is a reason a lot of people say she's sort of like the nurse.
I guess the killers that suffered the most, are the most powerful in the realm.
Mm. Hag suffered a lot too. And Billy. They must order it in order of who suffered more. Which makes the power scale go from Nurse, Billy, Hag to Spirit.
You're probably right though.

Camp after camp after camp.
I hate rank reset. Wish the devs would pull their finger out and educate the green ranks on how to play. Camping can be easily punished by doing gens, it is your fault that you thought you could save someone who was being camped by the killer. You don't say.... I did do gens actually. My complaint is that its about as much fun as watching paint dry. Everyone knows its the interactions with the killer and the suspense that make survivor fun. Not holding M1 on a gen while the killer stands at the other side of the map staring at someone on the hook. So I made it out but man are they boring games. Also how much fun do you think the people being camped had? It's not our fault at all, it's the killers fault for playing lame.
After rank reset every game is me doing gens for the hatch while everyone else gets camped and farmed. This is how green ranks were. It needs to change.
Alright, listen here, chill with the "You don't say" Got it?
First off, yes, the player being camped is not having any fun. Don't know why that would matter to you considering from it sounds like you're playing solo. Yes, it sucks that they are being camped and yes, it sucks that you are just doing gens and not being chased, as being chased is the only fun thing in this entire game, if you don't like it, then maybe you should join the person being camped.
Why so hostile?
Nobody finds 5 camping games in a row fun. Nobody. It's just one of those problems with rank reset.
He's being like that to everyone.
This man is complaining about being camped and me telling him about a solution is me being hostile? So many things i want to say but imma just not. God forbid i say what's on my mind and you start pulling the victim card as well.
No, but you're being rude to multiple people like someone stole your cheerios.
Because i like telling it how it is. This is the internet after all, i can do that. And yes, someone did steal my cheerios

In all seriousness if you don't like it then you have the choice to not comment, you can't just sit there and tell me "Oh you're being mean to people, you need to chill out" First off, i'm not being mean to anyone, but since you seem to think that, imma start doing that from now on.
