I haven’t played him yet, but he does look fun to play, I do however plan on playing him when he comes out on mobile.
He looks and seems like any normal killer, if you manage to get a stalk off you won’t end up getting looped. Might be my second main when I come back to this dumpster fire of a game.

Yes. Its time to b-it-ch about something, its the ritual of this forum.
Welcome to the nerf cycle activated by crybabies. Those babies are highly listened by devs sinces they are a lot, so get ready to get fooked.
Nurse / Noed
Then its gonna be Spirit / Bbq
Then Billy / Bamboozle
Nerf Noed. Noed is bad. Noed is OP. Noed got 75% killrate at R1. Noed dont have counterplay. Omg noed is so boring. Ohtofu said Noed had to be nerfed. Etc...etc, change noed with anything else and create a thread once a day. HF
I could give two auric cells what walmart brand ninja has to say about NOED

Killer Camps
Survivors Rush Gens (Because thats what killers say to do when they camp)
Has no time for NOED
Gets multiple kills because they camped with noed
GG.
Noed is trash.
Sounds more like you’re jus the bad at prioritizing 2 objectives. @SenzuDuck
@Theluckyboi I’m fine dude, I normally let snarky people slide because it’s the internet but my tolerance level for it has reached its peak lol. That and college has my brain in overdrive.

the ONLY issue I have with it is that all 5 totems must be destroyed to nullify it and outside of playing SWF, there's almost no way to ensure this has been done aside from traversing the entire map to verify all of them have been broken.
this topic has been beaten to death on the forums though, so I'm really not sure why yet another thread was needed for this dead horse.
Maybe if you didn’t comment then the dead horse could finally rest, maybe if survivors stopped complaining about a perk then threads like this wouldn’t need to be made 🤷🏾♂️

Cosmic horror is something our minds can't exactly fathom, it is the fear of the unknown that is what frightens us, we think we want to know but at the same time do we really? i also wonder what the true form of this malevolent being is. However, at the same time, this very thing could make me go insane if i even think about looking at it while it is in it's true form.

Does it really? Because every time I hear the sound someone is knocked down 150 meters away from me while I go on doing my gen xD
Yes it does
-
I like it, the little sound just tells you "you better start doing whatever you can to not get caught, because imma coming"
-
@Atrushan88 Highly doubt that, none of the survivors (Except Ace) would think about having sex with one another. If i was stuck in the realm, only thing on my mind would be trying to get out or figure out how to stop the thing that is forcing us to play this game. Not try and sleep with someone. It's just something i wouldn't consider a priority at the moment.
-
Man it's threads and comments like these that make me wish the down-vote option was back. Either that or the forum should shut down for a couple of days.
-
I used to go by saying that there would be SuitCases and Sacks in the realm where they would get their clothing. One thing to support this statement would be the 80's Suitcase and the BloodStained Sack DLC, which for those who were active in the games early days would know what i am talking about.
During this time any clothes found the survivors were probably found during the trial, much like how items are found. But as the power of The Entity grew, she then created another sub-realm for them to go into and find what they were looking for. Of course giving her some kind of payment. What we look at in the store is not what the survivors and killers see, what they see is most likely Suitcases and Sacks stacked high on end for them to look through and wear.
At least, that is how i think it all comes together.

Now that is what makes me believe that it is fake, why would they include Tapp if his body was never found?
Tapp's body must have been found in some way unless someone tipped Tapp's death off.
Some of the wiki's can be confusing.
Sometimes when a body is missing and the police can't find it, they would still have a funeral for the person despite their being no body. They could possibly bury something that was held dear to the departed. In the case of Detective Tapp, they could have buried anything. But his body was never found so i think that in the moment of him dying on the floor, is when The Entity took him.

David and Jake. Both come from rich backgrounds, while David is aggressive, and Jake is calm. Their personalities are polar opposites but at the same time Jake would balance David out imo. As for other romantic options, Dwight and Meg perhaps? I mean Dwight honestly would be cuter with David imo but canon wise I'd expect David and Jake to get together. The only way I wouldn't expect the DavidXJake coupling to happen is if one of the two is not gay, and honestly I just have a feeling David at the very least is gay. It'd make a lot of sense as to why he is the way he is.
David looks like the type of guy to beat someone up for being gay.
I don’t think the survivors have time for relationships, they have to focus on working together and trying to get out of the situation they’re stuck in, a relationship is just going to lead to drama. And more emotional stress, which is what The entity wants.

We have to take into account that the SAW films were created way before DBD was even thought of.
Tapp's body was actually found because his body was on the ground near the infamous bathroom (if you've watched SAW you'll understand) and he was featured in the memorial service in SAW V.
There are several theories that the licensed characters are that of Alternate Universes in DBD which imo is a strong theory (we have to remember that the entity takes the survivors' body).
Let's start with Laurie, the Laurie and Myers we have in the game were taken from the first HALLOWEEN movie which already has created a time paradox, the first HALLOWEEN ended with Michael disappearing but Laurie was there at the end, she didn't vanish either which already solidifies the evidence that the Laurie that we see in DBD is in fact from a AU.
Now Bill, the simple fact that Bill is from an AU is because during 'The Passing' campaign in Left 4 Dead 2, you can find his body, in the middle of a pool of blood with an Assault Rifle laying on his legs (the player can take the weapon).
Next is Quentin, now Quentin is arguably the only licensed survivor that actually comes from the universe of the film he was in due to the fact that his and Freddy's lores are set a few months after the events of the 2010 movie.
After Quentin is Tapp which I already debunked above (The Tapp in dbd is from an AU)
Lastly we have Ash, now if you took the last ever scene into account from the TV show Ash vs Evil Dead then the Ash in dbd is (like the other licensed survivors) from an AU, however if you didn't take the last ever scene into account then his lore matches up with the last episode of the TV show really well.
It's a bit confusing at first but it seems Quentin and Freddy are the only licensed characters that seem to be taken from their actual universe and not an alternate one
@Chaddad2169 An AU would make sense but it's just something that i myself don't really consider.
After researching the wiki i managed to find this.
"After Jigsaw's death at the hands of Jeff Denlon, another one of his victims, Tapp's deceased partners Daniel Rigg, Eric Matthews, Steven Sing and Allison Kerry were given a memorial. Tapp himself was honored as well, even though his corpse had never been found as the underground tunnels had never been found by the police"

I like your argument but I have one little nitpick
Tapp didn't die from his neck wound, he died from a bullet to the chest, whilst he was bleeding out from the bullet, the entity took him.
@Chaddad2169 You also have to take in account that there is a chance he could still be alive, they never found his body down there (I don't count the games as canon) so all in all he could still be alive, when and if he manages to escape, he might end up in the same place where he was before.

I imagine Tapp would be confident in his ability to try and thwart the entity's plans but similar to the Jigsaw case he'll probably get too obsessed and his mental state will just break (similar to the endings of the SAW video game).
Bill would probably aid the team like he did his friends in Left 4 Dead and probably end up sacrificing himself for the survivors
Quentin will probably try and find flaws in the entity's world (similar to how he did in Freddy's dream world) and use those flaws to his advantage.
Ash would probably just groovy in style and kick ass like he does in the Ash vs Evil Dead TV show.
Dwight would lead the team and help them through the process of trying to escape
I assume both Meg and David would work on distraction seeing as their lore states them as the two athletic ones (Jake too probably?)
Claudette (like Bill) will assist the team and put her feet in their shoes
Nea would obviously be the sneaky one, same with Jane (poised and head on are pretty stealth oriented perks) and Jeff would help these two as well (distortion and aftercare) and Feng (technician) as well as her understanding of survival (video games do that to ya)
Ace and Kate will keep the team's spirits high.
That just leaves Adam and Laurie who I think will work together well, Laurie knows her schoolwork and Adam's a teacher.
I started this off only actually writing about Ash, Bill, Quentin and Tapp but drifted off into doing every survivor 😂
I wholeheartedly agree with every single one that you stated. I guess the devs want us to create our own main character, but it would be nice if they gave us some kind of hint as to who could be able to stop this elderitch abomination
also @DocOctober You gave your two cents. And I gave mine, if you wanna see despicable and disrespectful, I would have been banned. What I said to you, was literally a slap on the wrist.

The Entity is basically the antagonist, yet also a protagonist in the story. The Entity is the main character to a point. Benedict and Vigo are the main survivors that we have so far, and the Entity is the main villain. It’s the protagonist of its story, so in theory, then Benedict and Vigo are antagonists.
I say protagonist villain because I remember hearing from the Leatherface movie, the more recent one. Texas ranger Hartman is the good guy but he does terrible things to people. Hence the name “protagonist villain” where as Jedidiah or “Leatherface” is the “antagonist hero”
in the case of DBD where someone thinks the Entity is the main character, they would be considered the protagonist villain.

1) I did not create the DbD Wiki, I'm just the top contributor and Head Admin of it.
2) The devs themselves talked of her as a she, rather than an it and it is also explained why the Entity is most likely female. The Entity being female is not just a hypothesis, it's a theory based on evidence.
Oh I’m sorry let me rephrase that “top contributor” so that basically means you came up with all the calculations. Hence, you created it in some way.
And the devs at first stated her as an it. But that’s none of my business, I didn’t waste my Time being a top contributor. @DocOctober
@GodDamn_Angela So you think The Entity is a protagonist villain. Interesting.
-
@Orion until I see you providing something useful. Then I’ll take what you say into consideration. It’s better to sit and think that it’s possible then to not sit and think at all and rely on “oh she’s just food”

I agree with Orion on both accounts. The analogy is silly since strong emotions are nothing else but tasty sustenance for The Entity and Wikis that only rely on opinions rather than facts should be disregarded in discussions.
Not a wiki. And that’s a lot coming from someone who made the claim that The entity was of possible female gender. On a wiki that he created @DocOctober
on top of that @End_of_Slayer people haven’t they’re too lazy, or just dont read.

@Orion Well I sure don’t see that brain of yours putting anything useful in.
This was taken from the DBD Tv tropes site, which tells a whole lot about the characters and what tv trope they fit. This goes along with the fact that she could be the key to defeating her (The Entity) But would require some kind of comprehension of the elderitch being.

@BlackMercury said:
I like to think each trial is like its own slasher flick. The main character is the Killer, because that's how slashers are, but the protagonist is whichever survivor either escaped when their friends were killed, or managed to save their friends.
If we're talking about the Lore as a whole with the Entity as the antagonist, then the main character has to be someone that can actually stand up to the entity in some way. Benedict is the first option, being someone who learns about the entity and may have learned how to escape. Vigo is another, one who learned how to manipulate the entity. Vigo's apprentice, the character from the hallowed blight, also stands a chance. And the new guy, the Archivist, who can steal memories from the entity, and actually damage it in the process, though I think he'd be more like the overpowered supporting character, like 11 from stranger things.
@BlackMercury I would go on to say Kate could probably take her on (The Entity) because she has so much hope and is literally a beacon of light, that even she could rival that of The Entity.

This would be the day I quit Dead by Daylight. Please stop forcing this agenda into literally every single piece of media in the known universe. I do not want this, and the vast majority of players wouldn't either. It's entirely out of place.
In terms of the sexuality suggestion, it doesn't matter. This is a game about trying to survive a psychopathic killer or trying to murder survivors before they escape. It's not IMVU. One of the characters we have now could be gay, we'll just never know it - because it's not relevant.
If you want us to be widely accepted, stop making it a huge deal and cramming it down people's necks. Yes, I'm gay too.
Wholeheartedly agreed @HilmScrubbles, i mean like come on, it shouldn't be that hard to just think up the survivor you play as or killer is gay. I mean look at how many people love playing Quentin (Even though he's hella ugly).
If i can have the freedom to think that Tapp and Jane Romero are in a relationship in the realm, then you have the freedom to make whatever character you want gay or lesbian. Simple as that.
Edit: And one other thing, as a Christian, you don't see me pushing for a pastor type survivor, as it would be offensive to literally everyone in the community. So it just makes sense you don't do the same.

Sorry if i came off a bit brutish but it's been 3 years and the devs still are lacking in departments of things that can be fixed or improved and they just dont do anything..it's just heartbreaking to see such an amazing game with potential be left in it's current state.
But i digress, like a few others have already stated nothing will change, it's because the devs are push overs and all they'll say is "No No No! Play nice!"
If you turn the clock back a few months Detective Jonathan went through the same fiasco where literally the devs didnt give a ######### and the mods just shrugged.
Go ahead and dig through old discussion posts there has to be at least 5 or 6 talking about the same stuff.
@ItsYourBoyGuzma If your're going to give me a cameo. At least @ me, shouldn't be too hard.
Anyway, in regards to you @FlamingkittyUmad, Guzma is right that i tried to make their actions aware to the public, which worked in a way but garnered no action from BHVR or their mod team (although i do have proof of one of them griefing me continuously so i do plan to talk to her about that) but in regards to your situation, it's best to take a clip of what they did, and then send it to the mod team. When you do that, you should get some kind of action out of it.
For me it was more of a wait and react process, a lot of people will tell you i went out of my way to harass these guys simply because i hated twitch streamers, Which is true, i do hate streamers with a passion, but would never go out of my way to harass them, goes against my character and what i do. But Guzma is also right about how BHVR won't necessarily do anything about it, simply because they are afraid to cut ties with them since they are bringing in the dough.
As much as i want to talk about it, the mods have told me it's best to leave it be and ignore them as much as i can, Guzma is right anyways, you have more time to be doing something else than to be worried about what someone does in front of a screen, wasting time playing a game in front of a massive group of people, simply because that game or something brings them the most money. One prime example being me, I have a life and a future i want to get to, i don't RP as a Detective just for the fun of it lol. You don't see me throwing it all away just to sit on a chair and let my arteries clog up playing video games.
All in all, just make the report and wait until then, if something happens, great. If not, oh well, something will happen down the line.

@ScottJund and @miaasma yea lol like I said, I exaggerated a bit.
Even so, the painfully sweaty attempt of 90% of them to be seen as "masters of DBD" is a laugh. I mean, TrueTalent (God, even the name is cringy) tosses fancy words around ("optimal play", "momentum", "map pressure"... I know these are valid terms but excessive use of it betrays their motives), Otzdarva, who actually is a good player, but such a cocky smartass, Monto, who's at least obnoxious enough to be funny, but feels he has to read up his whole load all the time (thanks buddy, we can read, and know that stuff already anyway), and the list could go on. Just stop.
Or maybe I'm just a hater. Yeah that's probably it.
@George_Soros Yo you leave Monto out of this, as far as i know dude tries his hardest to stay out of any kind of drama and willingly listens to both sides of the community as much as he can. Granted he use to come off as sort of an ass back then, but people change. And with it other people took the place of his former shell.
It sounds like what you're trying to say is that we should take their words with a grain of salt. Then again, i hardly listen to any person that sits on their butt all day playing games and call what they do a "Job" lol.
-
My only concern isn’t off we can transfer our progress from pc to mobile.
-
Aside from the show being completely overrated and looking like some kind of cringe fanfic with the massive amounts of Mike and Eleven kissing scenes, it wouldn't surprise me if they capitalized on this in some way shape or form.
If this is true, then it is very possible the survivor could be Hopper, considering he could have as some people say "Jumped" into the upside down and wounded up in some different world with some being more powerful than The Mind Flayer and Demogorgon combined. However, we already have a cop survivor Ahem Detective Tapp so it would just feel a little out of place to have two cop characters in the game.
-
Survivor: Claudette, simply because anyone that plays her tends to be the most toxic and takes the game seriously.
Killer: Trapper, hate that i manage to run him around for most of the game and he catches me by a lucky trap placement.
-
Hopper wouldn’t be a bad Idea for a survivor. Considering his ending.
-
Don’t know about the specs but what I do know is that I’m good since I have an iPhone 6s
-
This is the part where the downvote reaction would come into play.
-
I would agree with most of the men, they sound frustrated that they got caught and that they want to be able to contribute more to the team and try their hardest to protect their fellow team.
-
I mean, it would be alright, but not something i think they should focus their time on.
-
I would rather a DBD miniseries involving the killers we have now then some kind of killer from whatever show added into the game.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/73078/how-final-destination-and-dbd-are-connected
I would like to counter this with the fact that a lot of the entity's victims on both sides were taken at the moment of their death. Rin taken after her murder. Lisa taken after her death due to wounds from being used as food. Jane when she crashed her car into the water. Plague when fled to a cave where she started to succumb to the sickness she tried to cure. Tapp when he was bleeding out from having his throat slashed.
What if the Entity is drawn to those close to their own death or responsible for the deaths of other because they are in fact Death itself. The Entity could very well just be a secondary aspect of death that exists as a cosmic antithesis to a proper passing. Every survivor is taken because they can serve as a good source of hope to feed on. That means that these people in general need to be strong willed in some way that makes their death something that can be properly taken. There are outliers of course, but if we're talking Final Destination Death. That primordial force would never accept another taking from it. The only way I could see the two being connected is if FDD couldn't prevent the Entity from doing what it does. The only sensible idea from there is that either they need each other or one is just an aspect of the other that must carry out its actions.
I would like to add that i was going off of the survivors, not killers, simply saying that because you list some characters in there. Also, a simple car accident could have been caused by Death. and in that instance Death allowed The Entity to take her soul, while he clocked in her soul on the chart. We don't know that. @ReikoMori
@Orion said:
Death is not malevolent. It performs its tasks with a certain Machiavellian flair, but it's simply a force of nature, trying to make sure the natural order is maintained.
The Entity, on the other hand, is malevolent, actively feeding on the souls of the people whom She traps in Her realm until they're nothing but withered husks.
Also @Orion I am not referring to our world of Death, but the Death in Final Destination was a malevolent force to be reckoned with, seeing as though it has a design to uphold and follow. And those that managed to cheat it would die in horrific ways, (Example: Ian Mckinley from FD 3, or Isaac from FD 5)
(Taken from The Final Destination Wiki)
In the Final Destination series, Death (also known as The Grim Reaper) is an active, cunning, volatile, highly malevolent, supernatural, personified force, and the series' primary antagonist. While invisible to people, it nevertheless makes a somewhat noticeable and ominous presence wherever it goes and can manipulate any aspect of an environment to its will. Although the character of Death is never seen, in truth it is an entity that wants its design to never be violated.
While you are right about it being a neutral force and it operating in a machiavellian flair, it's still a dangerous supernatural force that will punish anyone that breaks it's design, hence why people die in gruesome ways should the design be broken. Keep in mind that The Entity is able to travel to different universes and worlds (Detective Tapp and every other Licensed Character we have in the game) and she could have possibly gotten into it with Death in some other universe or timeline.
-
It's probably for the best, before the game becomes all that you know. You would sit there thinking that if you touch the stove it might explode or something.
-
Because maybe i like to keep them for myself and let people like you put them out for me. :D
-
Not bad. Not bad at all.
