Because shirtless myers is nothing but a overrated meme done by the community. Not to mention that the only reason he most likely won't get that cosmetic (Thank God) is simply because it isn't true to his character. If i saw a trailer of Michael killing people without wearing a shirt, it would feel awkward and forced.

Also @se05239 that isn't quite true, just because Tapp and Pig are getting some cosmetics doesn't mean they are bound to always get some. BHVR would still need to talk to the license holders and then negotiate another deal so they can have the green-light to go with it.
All in all, the cosmetic has to be true to the character and is something that the license holders can see that character wearing (Example: Shoulder Holsters for Tapp, or a Syringe for Pig or some other wrist-blade type weapon)

Yea, same actor would be very weird. However it would be a good idea to have the cosmetics that Detective Harrigan wore in the movies as a cosmetic set for Tapp, as a special homage and reference to the character.
Which between you and me, is something i could see them doing in the future. @Bbbrian2013

A DBD movie wouldn't be that hard to make honestly, i have made a couple stories myself starring my OC (Detective Jonathan) as he tries to investigate the disappearences of the original survivors we have now. I even went as far as to describe his transition into the realm of The Entity, taking inspiration from Adam Francis's lore and he ended up there.
However, i think to be able to flesh out the characters, i think a tv series would best fit the game. Because that way you will be able to tell the story in a much broader detail, instead of having everything rushed and trying to get it out there, with a tv show, you'll be able to expand on the universe.
Either that, or you could do a movie for all the killers we have now, and a tv show for every survivor we have. Kind of like how Marvel does it, and then have it all lead up to the main to the franchise finale. Or keep milking it until the game ends.
All in all, i've been pushing for them to consider making one, and if they do decide to make one, i would love to be able to be on the team as some sort of writer, that way i can be able to give inputs from the community and such.
Just my idea though.

I would like to think that this is the only universe where DBD is a game. There could be some kind of universe where DBD is actually real, and in their world they are going through some kind of strange phenomenon where people are going missing without a trace, or where some people are committing heinous acts, before also being taken, twisted and changed to fit The Entities liking.

They actually have a broad range of new slasher killers.
For those that don't know, there is a series on Netflix by the name of "Slasher" which is an anthology series that depicts different characters fighting against a serial killer. There most recent season titled 'Solstice" was released recently and showcased an interesting killer that was actually a lot like Ghost-face in terms of two people working together.
But they also have two other slasher villains that could be of some use.
They also have the main antagonist from "The Stepfather" and since i don't know what his name is, i'll just call him "John Doe" who went around under the named of various identities and assimilated himself into various families, up until killing them one by one. You also have the transgender killer known as Angela (Who is actually a boy) from the franchise "SleepAway Camp"
All in All, there are still some good killers out there that they can use, they are just more on the human side than supernatural.

Probably not, It's been said that Vigo is pretty much gone during the journals of the Hallowed Blight Event, after this it's possible we might never see him again.
This also does bring up the theory that he managed to actually escape the realm of The Entity.

It's been confirmed that The Entity is the one who puts up the decorations. She does this because she is trying to replicate our world, but fails in trying to create an exact representation of it. Which would explain the Christmas as well as the Halloween themes.
She is essentially trying to understand who we are and what we do.

Everyone here is talking about the reveal progress resetting, are you trying to say that survivors have some kind of indicator to let them know how close they are of knocking him out of stalk?

Anyway, in all seriousness, Spirit is perfectly fine. I'm not going to go into detail about it as i am sure all the other people who have played Spirit or main her to mains have pretty much said what we are all thinking. So thank you, especially to @vampire_toothy who seems to understand exactly how mechanics in the game works, and for totally dominating this debate.
Also, this forum is not filled with killer mains, i play survivor more than i do killer, @ScottJund i know plays survivor on some occasions my fellow Detective Tapp main @NMCKE plays survivor, the only person i know for a fact that only plays killer is TheEntityLefthand. This whole generalization of the whole forum being biased to one side is a complete and utter lie, and shows that those who make such a claim probably spend too much time watching their favorite survivor main streamer.

The only way you can defend yourself against the killer is with The Flashlight. Nothing else.

there are a whole lot of very wholesome streamers who I am proud to have represent the game. Paulie Esther, Gar Bluemoon, HybridPanda, etc. are proof that there are very nice streamers out there who more than deserve to be allowed to represent DBD as Fog Whisperers. Looking over the entire list, there are only 3 names on the entire thing that cause me concern as for why they got onto the list; and even then 1 is borderline enough that I wouldn't actively bring them up when giving examples of bad streamers. A whole lot of the people in the program are good streamers, and it's completely unfair to lump them all in as one group.
Every clip on my Twitter is them harassing me. And don’t forget I still have your comment on my profile. @HorsePower

I have been pushing for these guys to make a tv show or movie, even going as far as to make my own cinematic universe. Unfortunately they haven’t come to me yet. Still, I’ll wait till the day comes along.

But as someone who was brought into the game simply by the Lore, I would love to know what life was like for the survivors and killers before they were brought into the realm.
You can’t just play a game and not wonder “what’s the story?” Behind it.

I already gave my stances on the Tapp cosmetics, both look astounding, don't know about huntress because as a Christian I tend to stay away from goat heads.
Wraith looks interesting, he looks as if he came out of a tree trunk where he was resting for years before being disturbed by a couple of kids.
Feng min is literally for the weebs
Dwight's torso looks good but his hair could use some work.
Pigs cosmetics look pretty good and really reflect her character
I also believe the cop outfit is supposed to go with Scream as well, considering the main cop in the film was Dewey Riley, who was always seen with his Patrol uniform. @Hoodedfengm1n
