It's only an issue right now because of the poorly implemented event. Normally it's fine.
-
That bottle trick doesn't really counter DS. Happy to see more clowns though, they're not too common.
-
BBQ is one of the most balanced perks in the game and the community manager said that herself as well. It has MULTIPLE counters that don't even require a perk to do so, you literally just play differently.
-
Those nerfs were ABSOLUTELY needed for the health of the game and it STILL needs quite a bit more.

If they literally just allowed survivors to collect bloodpoints with vials after 30 this ENTIRE problem would be fixed. Being unable to go past 30 is the whole reason killer que's are ridiculous right now. This isn't mentioning how everyone's got petal offerings that are totally worthless stacked in their inventory because of that 30 limit. They seriously need to hotfix this and solve the problem.

It's true. Aside from a couple specific killers/very good addons used, whether you win or lose is entirely dependent on the survivors.

They did say that they wanted to completely revamp him... they wanna give him a new power
That is not what they said. They never said revamp and they never said give him a new power. I follow their streams/posts quite closely.

That's it.@Blueberry is correct, they do likely have a very limited number of resources they can allocate to these changes, and even beyond that the are beholden to the licenses holders wishes, which acts to further hinder what can and cannot be done with a character in the game, and if they go too far with making a particular killer too "special" it could cause an uproar from other title holders as it comes off as a form of favoritism.
But even with that said, I think we should welcome all ideas regardless of the actual complexity to implement, since you never know what might be the inspiration for the perfect idea (basically blue sky meetings). So while @Blueberry is correct that @Bravo0413 's solution might not be the most practical, I feel it is ineffective to our overall goal to shoot down his suggestion completely, or to assert your idea as the one truth. We all have the same goal here, all ideas should be welcome and supported, since at the end of the day no one in this forum is going to make the final decision on Freddy's rework, instead we're just helping the designers brainstorm some ideas

Agreed. I thought my post was pretty constructive though.

This is a good question because i'm looking to have over a million bloodpoints worth of them sitting around and accumulating faster than i can use them.

Killers aren't upset at you for looping/gen rushing, that's just playing the game. We're upset at the devs for allowing that to be the game play or for the gens to be able to be done that fast. I get angry at the survivors in the heat of the moment as well, but it's just the devs to blame really, you're just using the tools they gave you. Their anger is justified, just in the wrong direction is all.
-
They need to give the maps that have multiple variations the same grouping so that those maps don't have a much larger chance of being selected.

She's good but really needs add-ons to not suck. However even without add-ons she's not freddy level. Tbh I have not played her in a while but even I can see her power now has some god mind game potential in fact she's the best mind game killer. Only thing I want is for stridor to work against iron will so iron will does not destroy her power.Up vote if you want stridor fixed so spirit can have mega sound tracking with it.

THIS.
She has like perfect synergy with Stridor and yet Stridor is still no where near what it used to be or worth using. I really hope the devs buff it. (shoutout to Predator as well that has perfect synergy with her and is STILL garbage and not worth using)
Like you mentioned as well, I really hate how so many killers are addon dependent, Spirit included. They really need to bake more into base kits. A mistake that keeps getting made over and over to where we need killer re works down the road and they are still doing it.
-
I still think she's just mid tier. I'm wrecking at rank 1 with her, but that's just because the survivors don't know what they're doing, not because of her strength.
-
+1 These que times are really ruining the experience right now.

Gates do take way too little time to open. Not sure why gates and hatch are both survivor sided.
-
Survivors need to have 1st person view as well.
-
It's bad game design. It's been an issue for 3 years, don't expect anything to change at this point. I shouldn't be able to loop a killer for 5 gens at rank 1 regularly and that's not bragging, it's just the norm at rank 1 and extremely easy to do. The killer is just helpless.
-
The traps jerking your camera is entirely the point, that's what they are supposed to do. That would be an extreme nerf to her.

Given that the only way to earn all your vials in the event is to play both sides, yes, a lot more people are playing killer right now. These que times are making killer almost unplayable, any chance of removing the 30/30 cap on survivor so everyone isn't forced on killer atm? I spend more time waiting in que than actually getting to play the game.
-
Rancor isn't even that good...it's not a free kill unless the obsession is stupid.
-
I have very nice headphones and the difference is still extremely minor to being barely noticeable. Still slightly better yes, but enough to be worth a slot these days? I don't think so at all. I'd like it to be though.

It definitely should counter Iron Will even when it is 100%. I really can't tell the difference with the breathing increase so I think they should buff that. Otherwise, I feel like it's only good on stealth killers.I think iron Will is supposed to nuffle Stridor but you're right when the math adds up on Stridor's favour.
When it's a 4v1 I feel like the killer perk should always override the survivor perk unlike how we have it now where it's the opposite.
-
Her crouch/ambush is just still left in a broken/garbage state
-
I think her issues have less to do with her traps and more to do with her crouch/ambush. Her crouch viewpoint should be higher and the ambush shouldn't have a roar with it. For her RBT's though, Rule Set #2 should just be in her base kit.

Honestly, they should just extend the event by a few days to compensate for the bugs we've had. Those being the 20min killer que's and survivors unable to collect after they've capped vials. With the killer que's so long I feel like I've barely been able to play.Btw, how are you liking the trapper skin?
I like the trapper skin, because i hate all other skins from trapper XD.
and btw i got the doctor head, too.I'm between doctors, trappers, and huntress. I suck with huntress but I just totally love her look with it.

----------What do you guys think about Stridor currently?---------This is a perk that I used to run all the time back in the day before the sound changes and I felt like it really made a big difference and was extremely noticeable. I also liked the extra skill factor involved allowing me to try and rely on my hearing a little more for outplays. However, since the sound changes from quite a while back I feel like this perk just isn't that good at all anymore. Even when using it on a killer that it should be amazing and have a lot of synergy with like The Spirit, it just feels bad. I can barely even tell a difference between using it and not using it.
I think it could use a little buff by increasing the sound more than it currently does and maybe even make it a little more directional for readability. I'd just like to get it feeling a little closer to how good it used to be.
I really like stridor, i used it on the nurse back in like august and september and it seemed really good for being only level 2. Stridor was really good. I don't know when the changes were, but if they were after i used it then i would agree with you.
The sound changes to the game affected it quite greatly, i agree it actually was really noticeable and good back in the day. I'm sure everyone would appreciate some mix ups on the perks everyone runs as well. There are quite a few survivor perks for example that could catch me off guard but i know that no one uses them.

I think it should make survivors' grunts of pain more directional and counter IW. I would be so excited to run it on Rin then, cuz it would make her sooooo terrifying for injured survivors. No way to escape from her vendetta. My thoughts as well, it would synergize so well with her power if it was better.

Seriously and they need to up the spooky medkit and flashlight drop rates during the event, I havn't found a single one in a chest yet.I have found 0 in chests but got about 20 of each from bloodwebs, and I searched a lot of chests.
Yeah I'd like to be able to collect some without having to put points into my survivors. I prefer to put points into killers since they're not just skins.

neither of those are bugs though @BlueberryI guess "oversights" on their part would be the better term

I don't get how it even made it into the live game in it's current state.
-
Make it silence a little further or simply include silence on chests/totems/sabo'ing as well.
-
While killers in general do needs buffs. I have always thought billy was way too forgiving. Object bumps barely phase him and him being allowed to cancel the chainsaw mid sprint whenever he wants with almost no delay is a little too much. I mean look at the delays bubba gets compared to billy.
-
@Peanits said:
Sounds interesting, but I feel like it might be a little too close to adrenaline like that. If you're running sprint burst, you would get the same speed boost. The only difference is that instead of getting healed, you run faster.I feel like removing the timer alone would be a pretty big buff, making it useful for those endgame saves.
I see a problem with that being abused though. You could infinitely loop the killer with windows using that increased speed and have survivors that just want to troll the killer never letting the game end after the gates are open.
-
Yeah I'm getting like 20min que times as killer at rank 1 as well. Makes the event almost unplayable. They need to extend the event a little to compensate I feel.

-
She's almost good enough. The roar with her ambush just needs to be removed to make it more viable. It's almost never worth using. Her crouch viewpoint is also too low. The fact that Rule Set #2 is an ultra-rare is just a joke, it should be in her base kit. I think these would help a lot.
-
I think it's a feature they should definitely implement in the base game as well. However, it should be like toolboxes you have to search through before you can work on gens. Some extra blood points would be cool i suppose. The extra slow down these have added is exactly the slow down we've been needing.
For the event they need to remove the cap so you can at least keep collecting for the bloodpoints. Also, I don't get why we have to spend bloodpoints to get the offerings to play. I don't want to spend 20min in que with the bugged killer lobbies, but I also don't want to be forced to spend bloodpoints on the survivor bloodwebs just to participate. Lastly, the penalty for dying needs to be a lot higher on the vials. I wait 20min for a killer lobby to fill just to have the entire team DC or kill themselves after they fill their vials.
-
Definitely a good idea and needs to make it into the base game. Maybe they should be toolboxes you have to search through before you can work on a gen. I don't think they should be an optional thing but required to do gens.
-
Good ideas.
-
The survivors don't need any buffs, the game is already quite a long distance from balanced.

Devs already said no more licensed killers.Stop listening to this person, the devs never said this. They said that they were going to release some original ones first. That's it. Seeing as the last 2 were originals, I don't think a licensed one is too far off.
