A lot of these "trapper mains" that think he's fine are hard to take seriously when you don't even play at high ranks. At rank 1 he is quite weak. Being stuck in a trap needs more reliability. It's not rewarding enough for how hard it is to get people into them and the time they waste. Traps should spawn into the map already armed in their spot and his addon to make traps re arm themselves after some time should be in his base kit. As others have mentioned as well, their hit boxes are quite a bit too low as well.
-
Same here, killer lobbies at rank 1 are taking like 20min for the first survivor to show up, longer for a whole lobby.
-
It's still overly easy to escape..like not even close to how hard it should be.
-
If balance in this game was you getting to work, this patch got you to get dressed and maybe open the front door. You still have to actually get in your car and drive across town. A "small" step in the right direction, but we're still not even close.
-
He feels great to me thematically. Just needs no interaction for survivors during dream transition except saves/pallets/windows and SC to not wake you up. Also, slightly shorter dream transition. Boom, that's all he needs.
-
All she needs is her crouch/ambush to actually be made more viable. Crouch viewpoint higher and ambush not give a loud ass roar defeating its purpose. Idk why her Rule Set#2 isnt just built in either, feels stupid using an ultra-rare for that.
-
She's pretty weak imo, mid tier at best. A skilled spirit against a skilled survivor and it's just not happening. Going against spirit is an easy win as survivor imo. She either needs normal killer move speed or her power to be more reliable.
-
The vast majority of the killer ultra-rare addons are pretty ######### and I almost hesitate to even waste the bloodpoints on them first of all. That said, they are also "ultra-rare" so they are "supposed" to be extremely strong hence why they are so rare.

I think this fits pretty well in here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=67&=&v=rJqFxk8U0OY
and the devs reaction to it:
https://clips.twitch.tv/PluckyEagerAlfalfa4Head
That was 7 months ago, nothing has changed so far
That clip is exactly why I lost faith in the devs, especially the work he puts in. Admits the game isn't balanced and just doesn't want to do anything about it. He could've at least lost the sarcasm/smug attitude and responded in a productive manner that shows they are trying to fix the problems instead of an essential shoulder shrug/whatever attitude. Not good PR at all.

They had some Halloween themed items in game and cosmetics.
-
The healing change did nothing. When I play survivor I can barely even tell it was changed, feels almost the same.
-
Lullaby isnt even good enough to warrant being a hex perk
-
I play this game way more than most people on here and I've yet to see any difference whatsoever after the sabo changes much less anyone really using it.

The same can be said about killers going against survivors in red ranks. looping, Flashlights, Toxic Plays. It goes both ways not just one.Looping it's part of the game lol you can't complain about it i mean ######### dude. Red ranks plays like reaching rank 1 was the greatest trophy in the world (but no, it's only a trophy on steam). Flashlight helps you for saves. Toxic plays? What do you mean?
With these comments it's quite clear you hardly play killer at all or at any meaningful rank. You would not think the way you do if played killer at rank 1 regularly. Your judgement is clouded from lack of experience.
I think the way he does and I only play killer at a "meaningful rank." What now
I don't think you do and I think you also have very low hours.
-
The game isn't even remotely close to balanced. Survivor is still extremely overpowered. The changes have been extremely minor and hardly effect anything significant. I play both sides at rank 1 with almost 2k hours.

Doubt it seeing as they were talking about adding prestige rewards well over a year ago and that's gone no where. Also, how lazy was it just to put a freaking 1 and 2 on your board when you go up in prestige. How hard would it have been just to put a freaking bronze, silver, gold border around it as you go up. Something even that small would've been nice.
-
I agree. Majority of the killers ( not all ) are way, way too addon dependent. I think many of the addons should be toned down a little and have more of them baked into the killers base kits. Also, most of the new killers ultra-rare addons lately have been complete garbage for being considered "ultra-rare". Most of them should have been in the killers base kits as well.

Krampus!
-
Tydes nailing it all pretty accurately
-
The devs continuously try to prevent "camping" and instead just promote survivors to keep making bad saves. That or actually tackling the issue of why a killer is camping to begin with.
-
Krampus for around christmas time. Weapon would be a sickle on a chain that he holds in both hands. Map would be a giant, old creepy mansion with multiple levels and rooms.
-
You think this because you play at low ranks. At rank 1 that DS is getting them back into another pallet/window loop.
-
If she moved at the normal killer speed I would be fine with her power in its gimped state. However, since they made her so slow, she RELIES on her power for hits. It's simply too unreliable for a power she relies on. She either needs normal killer speed so that her power is just supplemental or her power needs to be made more reliable. If they want her slow, she should see blood during her power at base or have survivor sounds massively increased while using her power to make it a little more readable. I personally like the blood change as it would only make her stronger when they are already injured and would make certain builds more interesting on her like sloppy butcher/bloodhound. Side note, she's probably one of THE best cases where predator would be a good perk and it's still trashy. Even with their current proposed coming changes to her she will still be too weak imo as they aren't anything that significant. She's a less rewarding, more unreliable and more heavily penalized nurse.

Spirit Fury in my opinion isn't near as good as people think it is and there are better options.Stack it with Enduring and lunge through every pallet you can. It's very, very effective, and you can often times catch someone off of Fury-broken pallet (provided there's no window or something to help them get away).
To get enough stacks each time to have it activate you're wasting way too much time breaking pallets. Even then, you're just getting 1 hit out of it. Eh

I main him at rank 1, he's fun. While I am looking forward to his changes they have me very worried. I want his blaring problems fixed, not a complete change to how he plays.
-
Agree on your points. While the ranking system is heavily flawed, the only people actually claiming that rank doesn't matter at all are the ones that can't get there/continuously play there. There are a large amount of players, especially on the survivor side that shouldn't be anywhere near their current ranks either. They are getting carried by the devs still holding their hands. They have artificially inflated survivor ranks.
-
Tunneling doesn't exist, it's playing the game intelligently. Camping is part of the game and backed up by the devs themselves. Don't want camping anyway? Then the game needs to be properly balanced.
-
Her power isn't reliable enough to warrant her slow movespeed. She needs either normal move speed or her power to be more reliable since she is reliant on it for hits. Her Ultras also seem like a joke. She should see blood in spirit realm at base. This would at least give her more reliability with the ability on an already injured target and add more builds on her with sloppy butcher/bloodhound.
-
Agree with OP. Every killer with lower move speed must rely on their power for hits and her power is just too unreliable with all the downsides. She either needs base killer move speed or some decently large buffs to her ability to make it more reliable.

You are low rank and you want to tell something about balancing?
Hex perks are rly weak, because they are gone after 30 seconds.
And before the rank reset i was rank 1 killer.
Rank 1 killer is rly frustrating, because survivor can beat you every game.
Its dumb, that looping around things wast so much time for the killer.
And btw survivor perks are stronger than killer perks.
With survivor perks you get a new ability (dead hard, self care).
And you can use this perks vs all killers.
When you just use math on this game its rly sad "balancing".1 survivor need 80 seconds for 1 generator. 4 survivor must do 5 generator. 1 killer must hook 12 time(with DS max.16 times). That mean 1 killer must hook 1 survivor every 20 seconds or 2 survivor will escape.
Wow yall are using my theory on the imbalance now? I feel honored.
^ This and add onto those hooks ALL the extra hits you have to land because of BT, SB, Unbreakable, SC, pallet looping, or just plain losing hooks from bodyblocks/flashlights. The balance of the game when you look at the math isn't even remotely close.
-
Killer is hella weak, low rank survivors are just stupid and die to anything. You don't balance around people playing stupid.
-
Her crouch viewpoint is way lower than the Pig actually is, but this has been an issue since release and still totally ignored. Don't worry though, her ambush is trash too.
-
She either needs the normal killer move speed or her power buffed to make it much more reliable. A 110% move speed killer is intended to rely on their power for hits and her power is just way too unreliable to be something you must rely on. A weak killer again, albeit easily fixable if the devs wanted.
-
Rather than adding this nerf, the killers just need to be made powerful. The clicking wouldn't even matter if killers had the power to punish bad behavior.
-
Too many killers are addon dependent. They need more in their base kits.
-
They don’t need to fix dodging, they need to fix the reason WHY killers dodge. The answer is SWF and the games complete imbalance. Balance the game and fix SWF, watch the dodging go down tremendously.
-
Stop spamming the forums with your complete nonsense posts. You haven’t played this game enough to understand its balance.
-
Thanks I needed a laugh today. If you seriously think this you are just bad at the game. I don’t even mean this in a sarcastic or rude way. The game is still so ridiculously in favor of survivors still that no person with an decent level of skill and rank would think this way. It’s a you issue, practice more.
-
I’m surprised it’s been this long and the devs haven’t addressed this yet. Once the gates are open there needs to be a timer to leave to prevent this type of nonsense.
-
Camping isn’t an “issue”. You don’t need to fix camping. Camping is simply a symptom of the real issue which is game imbalance. If the game ever gets properly balanced, camping would go down tremendously. Camping is just what happens when the killers have no power and they have no options left.
-
No, that’s extreme entitlement in both directions. The game just needs to be properly balanced. You’d be surprised how much camping would drop dramatically if the game was actually properly balanced. A majority of the camping is simply a reaction to an unbalanced game, not a choice that they just actively want to do. Obviously exceptions but I’m speaking generally.
-
How are the ranked season rewards you spoke about a few months ago coming along? Anything you can share?
-
It’s because people “think” the game is balanced right now because they play bad and die but think it’s the killer or they see killers at rank 1 performing well. Killers can perform well at rank 1 because survivors play bad or they are bad and only got to high ranks because of crutch perks/bad game design in favor of easy survivor gameplay so they shouldn’t even be there. It basically boils down to people not recognizing the reason they lost was because they or their team played bad and not actually because of the games balance. If survivors and killers are playing at the actual same skill level the survivors will win every time. The killer only wins if the survivors let them.
