Idc how anyone act I just know it's broken and it needs to be fixed

well you should, it cant be properly adressed if ppl dont make accurate reports or feedbacks.

  • @justbecause said:

If it's broken why shouldwe stop complaining? Nice logic

Complaing yes but not acting like it is only bad for them and not others.

  • @MegMain98 said:

It’s a legitimate complaint because the perk just doesn’t work most of the time. It freezes you in place then you baby Dead Hard. That’s the perk. It didn’t always do this but it’s done this even before the recent FPS issues on console.

Let console players voice their complaints about a perk not working properly. Pretty sure if a perk was only bugged on PC then there would be an uproar.

I understand and agree however most of the ppl often place it as a disadvantage for them, beeing something that destroys there fun and makes the game unplayable. I am not saying they have no right to do that but ppl should stop acting like it only affects them and not others too.

  • @GrimoireWeiss said:

Sure, the entire playerbase has now ceased complaints, thanks to your incredible meaningful 10 seconds clip. You're amazing!

    Thx I appreciate it

  • @Squirrel_Thicc said:

Man, ever since console got destroyed with the new update some pc players have really been showing how selfish they are. Just shows how little you care about anyone else's fun except yours. Please keep making posts like this though, so that I know who I should and shouldn't take seriously in the future.

Ye I guess it is easier for you to just cover your eyes and dont think but just mindlessly complain about it.

  • @Ryuzaki said:

    Clearly outplayed.

just need to adapt and overcome

  • @XombieRocker said:

So since DH being broken worked against you once, no one else should complain about how it being broken worked against them?

How about instead, BHVR fixes their game so it works for everybody, all the time?

Well its just ppl complaining and acting its only a bad thing for themselves but never see how it for the other side you know.

    And yes I agree

  • @solidhex said:

Was obviously not a problem for you, if you have 6 hooks at 3 gens left.

Ye ofc but just saying that the dead hard issue is not only affecting them.

  • @OniWantsYourMacaroni said:

The maximum amount of blood orbs that can exist on the map is 100.

Anything more than that will make the older blood orbs disappear

Ye as Mandy said that aswell, didnt know that, even though I main my big boy since release I actually never came across this situation, well its a first time for everyone for everything xD

  • @Mandy said:

As far as I'm aware, there's a maximum amount of blood orbs that can be on a map at once....once that number has been reached, the older blood orbs are removed whilst the newer ones spawn.

This makes sense, everyone was constantly injured and didnt heal, they just tried to push the gens.

    Thanks for the info!

  • @Dito175 said:

Oni has been like that since launch thanks god, sometimes it feels like he gets his power every 2s imagine if orbs didn't disappear.

they never did. They just become invisiable once you blood fury but they are back as soon as you are in normal mode.

  • @DelsKibara said:

    I don't think it's a bug or a nerf.

It's always been like this. If you use your power, the Blood Orbs will start despawning.

Or if new ones are being generated by survivors.

I play oni since the release it was never like that, I had ton of blood banks for over 6min even.

  • @xenotimebong said:

I completely disagree about the Twins, I think they’re the worst designed killer in the history of DBD. They were extremely exploitable when they launched - survivors could take Victor hostage for the whole game, Victor couldn’t do anything about lockers, Victor could camp hooks extremely easily, Charlotte could block basement stairs… you get the idea, and the fact that none of this was anticipated before their launch is pretty amazing and sad honestly.

But they’re not much better now even after those issues were resolved, frankly. Now you have a 150% movement speed stealth killer with a fast charged ranged attack that can hit over pallets and windows, but can’t hook you. How does that sound like a good time for anyone? Victor has a long cooldown after a hit, which feels bad for the killer, but basically no downtime once he’s destroyed, so kicking him is almost pointless. Switching between C and V feels slow and terrible for the killer. For the survivor, you literally can’t lose him when you’re injured and you basically can’t loop him, so you just have to hope he misses his pounce but doesn’t fly too far away from you, so you can kick him. But then he just respawns in a couple of seconds and chases you down again.

It’s like old Legion levels of bad design. The concept sounded so cool to me at first and I think their visual design is super creepy and great, but the power design is hot garbage.

Well from the survivors point of view yes but same goes to spirit, some Killers have a very rough gameplay for the other end but from the Killer's perspective Twins is amazing. You have a very strategic Killer with a good chasing ability and also a very nice anti loop ability which also requires skill to use. Victor feels strong but you have the downside of wasting alot of time for hooking which requires you to plan way more how and where you position charlotte, you cant just play mainly as Victor and let Charlotte run behind, you have to think with both killers and play very smart and strategicly which is just very nice game design imo.

  • @SunaIIanu said:

I'd argue that simply the point that you were able to block survivors for an extended time with Charlotte while you ran around with Victor or block both entries to a building with Charlotte in one door and Victor is the other made them badly designed. As far as I know Charlotte loses collision now so they fixed it now but that took some time. There is also a lot that I could say about there general design, lore etc but that is subjective.

You are arguing that people are not willing to give something time, but imo that only applies about getting used to it, not about bugs. It sucks that people always claim the new killer is weak (or op) on the first day of ptb without getting used to them, but that is not the same as complaining about bugs, because bugs are not something the players need to get used to it's something that needs to be fixed. And when it takes weeks or even months for things to finally work like they are supposed to, people will feel negative towards it even if it turns out okay in the end because it should have been working from the beginning.

Ye you got a point but in the other hand, ppl still demand for more and that is a vicious cycle you know. The devs need to make quickly new characters and also work on the older characters to fix them.

Absolutely, im glad that although we certainly differ, we can at least respect each others opinions even if we disagree. After all I can absolutely see the dangers of just pandering to your playerbase and unnecessary hate mobs, plus people can get pretty heated and say some pretty awful things when discussing these topics.

Yes, well I often make discussions with pretty "hot" topics, its not rare that the majorety starts to meme at me or make fun of my view but I am someone whos not really getting effected by that, I dont really care but I respect ppl who can stand their point and talk about at a neutral and mature level.

  • @tippy2k2 said:

You get one First Impression. You blow it (or in DBDs case, you constantly blow it as every chapter seems to release as a dumpster fire), that's going to be the impression that sticks with the majority of your consumer base.

Ye I kind of agree but also many ppl will miss out alot of great things like that.

  • @gilgamer said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/267317/people-making-quick-decisions-and-opinions-about-stuff-way-too-easy-why

Well I just straight disagree with you on multiple points. I'd argue twins are one the worst designed killers in the game when fun is taken into consideration instead of just effectiveness. They're design is fine but that also matters extremely little to me, killer could be a stick figure for all I care as long as the power is fun to use and face. I've seen very little people enjoy facing or even really playing nemesis without rose colored glasses of nostalgia for the series, I dont think he's the worst killer by any means but he's certainly not even top 10 of killers id like to go against.

I'll admit the addition of AI helpers was a neat concept but from my experience of playing as him for a full day when he launched and against him since he launched the zombies are dumb as a bricks and are only threats when you literally can't get around them, and his own power is just 2 different powers but worse(plague and Pyramid head). Which leaves you with a killer that feels oppressive in chase but has a very slow time to down due to having to hit a survivor three times if you want to use his power at all while also having mediocre map pressure when he gets a map that actually suits his zombies well and awful map pressure on open maps you get an overall meh killer. Not too mention how weird and buggy his tentacle strike is.

His perks are fine lethal pursuer is nice but hysteria is terrible and eruption is okay under certain circumstances, they kinda balance each other out to just being okay overall. Survivor perk wise ill admit was pretty good with a decent variety of certainly not meta but fun perks which id argue is way more important.

Not too mention the host of new bugs that came with chapter release from clown and his bugged bottles and blight not being able to rush sometimes after a stun. Plus the obvious of the massive performance issues for many last gen consoles which is a large amount of the playerbase and to add salt into the wound they almost completely reused the event from last year with extremely minute and ultimately inconsequential differences, the extra bp is nice I guess but not worth the massive bump in toxicity it caused.

With the RE chapter being, IMHO, an absolute disaster overall coupled with all-kill and binding of kin being lackluster to downright awful chapters as well I honestly don't see how anyone can defend bhvr at this point.

I see, well these are just 2 different opinions going around but I like how detailed you could explain everything, thanks for sharing your thoughts like that. Its rare to see that kind of ppl, most ppl just hate it and dont give an reason why.

  • @Milo said:

The RE chapter is considered the worst because of it's many issues with optimization.

Old gen console players experience wasn't so great for 6 weeks and still counting. The map was disabled at the beginning for 2 weeks and we still can't even play on it wilingly (not like people want to play on it anyways!).

Don't start me on the set fiasco with Jill's basic hair STILL costing the same amount of money for a full set.

    -----

Just because there are few good things doesn't mean we should overlook the bad things and vice verse. Is it cool that RE is in dbd? Obviously! It's amazing. Should have the update be handled better? Yes it should've had!

And because there isn't a similiar game at the moment (that is doing well), you can only relate the DLC releases to... previous ones.

I agree that there has been problems with the RE chapter which cant be just put into a simple "sorry". However I am sure that these things will be like always solved in the future (no one knows how long). The thing is that ppl often tempt to keep that opinion for a very very long time.

I mean twins chapter as a whole is still viewed as one of the worst chapters, even though almost all bugs and problems has been fixed now.

  • I dont know how you see Clown as the worst Killer but okey.

For me its Nurse too, I used to play her alot but since the nerf she feels very clunky to play and that is just not fun.

or Legion, same reason. Used to be very fun and good but since the huge nerf Legion is a powerless and boring Killer without any depth.

  • Would be very cool, I think this would be easy to implement him in the game, since he has the statue of a upright demogorgon and his power could be a kind of reversed ghost face, so you dont want to look at him in chase.

  • I hope so, I never want to see that map, this map doesnt fit in Dbd and it just feels awfull to play on it as Killer, as survvor it is decent though.

But still you cant bring out a map in favor for just 1 side, this map should be disabled forever in public and should be a private lobby only map.

  • Legion's gang symbol

  • @Artick said:

Just stop crying already. The perk is weak enough as it is. Just because it's somewhat not completely trash against Wraith it doesn't mean it should be nerfed.

I think you get me wrong, I love that perk lol, did you even read the post?

I changed it so it felt like something Nemesis would actually do. He used his tentacles to mostly pull you.

Ye true I get what you mean but this would be abit of a deathslinger wanna be you know and having a killer with a whip like Nemesis currently is pretty cool, mechanicly and visually. Thats why

  • I go easy on a Dwight or Jesus, they are both cute.

    other rules?

I dont give a damn about camping, tunneling or slugging.

No hatch or escape for someone who played poorly or didnt help the team.

    Think thats it.

  • Ye thats the only thing that keeps me away from Twins. Love their story, design and especially gameplay. The strategic possibilities you have with that Killer is amazing but the Hitboes of Victor sometimes are just ... beyond everything, ppl complain about Huntress? Bro just play Twins you will see what bad hitboxes are.

The amount of inivisble walls or corners I hit and lost an entire game cuz of that is just frustrating and makes me want to quit dbd.

You're coming across as antagonistic. Posting a topic is not considered a big deal. A big deal is something that's characterized as going overboard. This is the official community for people to discuss all aspects of the game, including small changes. I don't understand what you're trying to achieve here.

Again to find out what drove you to make this topic, dont know why its so hard to understand. However you are right, its not really a big deal in the end but to put it in different words.

Why did you make this post? Because you where just talking about it without a reason behind it explaining why, what the "great benefit" fot the Killer exactly is.

  • @Zeus said:

Considering how good wraith is right now, I wouldn't mind flashbangs being a counter to him. The perk doesn't counter much.

Yea you have a point, I have to say it is funny as hell though

  • @Nicholas said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2370259#Comment_2370259

Who's making a big deal about it? I just posted a topic to ask about it. That's the point of this community is to post topics about the game. It seems a bit weird to reply to a topic unless you're contributing.

I am also just wondering why making such a deal out of it, what the reasoning behind it is, if you had such a bad experience with it and how it would effect others.

  • Other then Crowd control and Bamboozle this perk can block windows before the survivor can even reach the window, so it has its purpose and CAN give you free downs. But I agree the use of it is rather low and very random but it still has some use, regardless of how low it is xD.

Its kinda like Blood warden, doesnt happen often tbh but if that happen its funny as hell.

  • Ye this addon is really annoying and rather unfair imo since atleast iri head requires some skill to hit but a Clown could spam with 6 bottles until he hits. I was suprised that they didnt change that addon tbh.

Personally I like scrolling through my achivements list every now and then. I do it for every game since it's fun remembering what I did to get it. Achievements etch themselves in my mind.

Ah I see well since I never do it I dont have a connection really to them, thats the difference, interesting. Cool to see different views of perspectives though!

  • @DelsKibara said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2370251#Comment_2370251

It's a sense of completion. People just like seeing things as complete.

It's why some people (like myself) go out of their way to get Prestige 3-50.

I know I don't have to do it, but I just like it.

If people don't like getting it, they wouldn't be attempting to get it in the first place. Otzdarva wouldn't be making guides for it either.

I agree with P3, I prestiged also every Killer and Survivor which I can see ingame. But I barely notice achievments tbh, I didnt look at my achievments for over a year tbh. But i can see every day when I log in my prestiged Killers ( I use the outfits very often on most characters tbh).

But ye I totally get the sense of completion, I have a "problem" with that too xD

  • I like this perk, only small thing I would change is to also see the Aura of the survivors for 5 sec. To get a general idea where they would run.

Besides that, this perk is increadable underrated, sadly just as many many other perks...

  • I agree and disagree.

I hate too that they didnt gave him some kind of sprint ability and especially is epic roar "S T A A R S", I Would love to have him scream that when he starts a chase to make it actually abit scary. These 2 things are very important to me and makes me feel pretty sad that they didnt implement these very simple things into him.

But tbh you can see the "intelegence" of him by kicking and protecting gens or hooking and trying to mindgame in chases etc, these aspects of basic Dbd gameplay makes the Killer look smart which is a good trade off. Giving nemesis a weapon would be abit weird in dbd tbh.

  • Use camaredie, it is literally that what you are requesting for.

    The_More_You_Know_0-0_screenshot.png

  • Sry but... it seems abit weird to make such a huge deal out of a few meters... xD

  • A old Legend has told, you arent a blight main if you dont use Shadowborn.

  • Tentacle pull is a weird one, I like the current tentacle strike tbh.

  • Sry to sound rude but dude... just dont do it if its that annoying. I have over 5k hours and never done 1 adapt cuz I just dont give a F about achievments, I will never understand ppl who put so much effort into just a random little sign with a written text on it on your profile.

  • @Gaffy said:

People leaving as they are in the sacrifice animation is one of the big ones, like you are already dead. You have just made yourself guarantee a lost pip AND no BP from this match.

Others include- killer I don't like so I quit, map I don't like so I quit, team mates are not as good as I want them to be so I quit. Sounds like just a load of babies not getting their candy if you ask me.

But the largest and most disappointing one is people defending DC's, you are leaving 4 people to have a worse experience of a match (especially your team mates which you left with zero care other than yourself), because you didn't get cheery picked by the match making to the exact game you wanted.

Go play a single player if you want bots to do everything perfectly for you if your that inclined to show everyone your clear entitlement.

I just Dc personally on 2 big things.

Killers: RPD Police department. This map is literally the worst map in Dbd, it offers no fun gameplay for the Killer except Stealth Killers. Every other Killer with a fun power cant use it there. I refuse to play a game where I cant use the ability of the game that offers me. Also this map is just increadable big which makes it impossible to navigate properly, to protect the gens, you most likely have to just let them go which is very unfun and boring.

Survivor: A Killer with a very bad connection that is lagging and with very weird hitboxes.

Both of these things dont happen so often, I maybe get both of these situations maybe once a day. For me ppl who are able to play with these circumstances are increadable to endure that kind of agony, I cant understand how though, I personally play a game to have fun so thats why I dont waste my time with unfun or frustrating things. Very simple concept.

However I agree that ppl who dc on literally small things like a killer they dislike, a perk they dislike ( I had once a swf that dcd on my oni cuz I used Infectious fright) or a different map other then RPD.

  • @VikingWilson said:

Pyramid Head - never do they play casually

He is a suprisingly hard killer though, either you just do your daily and hate playing as him or you are a dedicated triangle head player like me.

  • @Marcavecunc said:

    She got Quentin'd

    good one xD

  • agree, also the updates should also come more frequently, especially bug fixes.

  • There are different types of ppl, ppl who like to win and ppl who just play for fun.

I am abit of both, if I want to win then I play Blight, Oni or Spirit and if I just want to mess around and have fun then Wraith, Clown or Demo.

  • I dont get it how you can compare these 2 perks? They are nothing alike.

  • @humanbeing1704 said:

You said it's the window by the gen. In my experience, when you have the window vault spawn there then there is an opening in the railing you can drop down from by the stairs. Since survivors do get staggered from falling and it still takes time for the survivor to finish the fall, you can drop down by the stairs and catch up to where they landed.

No there is no opening in the railing behind it, its pretty far so you have to go a wide angle around which takes a while to go around, if there would be one then I wouldnt complain.

Console has always been treated differently than PC though, and it's pretty frustrating. Other games that are far more complicated don't have the issues that DBD does with PC vs console optimization.

That is nothing new, not only dbd suffers from that, Pc games are just way better, easier and more profitable.

  • I doubt they do it on purpose to specificly annoy you. Thats why they are called bugs "Something unwanted and annoying".
