Jason is OP. He's pay to win. He's ranged, the teleports, he's undetectable, he has a built in slow down, you cannot hide in lockers if he teleports, there's apparently no cool down or timer on his ability, he blocks windows and pallets. Dear god, Behaviour. What didn't you give him? This is the most pay to win killer you've released yet.
-
It's not just gens. He stops survivors from doing everything. The duration and frequency seem too strong. Normally it takes killers a bit to learn how to work a new killer. He's been wrecking my solo queue lobbies form day one. He needs an adjustment but it probably wont come until sales slow down. It's not fun at all.
-
Lots of devs don't care about console players.
-
Remove the DC penalty, period. It's punitive and unnecessary. Always has been.

My experience is EU experience:
-MMR is not enough, at all times of the day I always get bad teammates. I tried during the day and during the night, it's CONSISTENTLY bad teammates, always.
-Nobody has balls anymore, and EVERY SINGLE TIME it's Nurse there's always 1 or even 2 people that suicide on hook, or straight up DC.
-It's always Nurse after Nurse, back to back, I haven't seen a Blight the entire day, I'm not joking, after playing for more than 5 hours. Always the same killers.
-Of those that try, gens don't get done.
-When gens get done, nobody knows how to play the game, even against the oldest killers. So many do dumb plays, and you ask yourself where is the brain!
I'm asking to everyone: what happened? Where are all the strong players? I haven't found a strong 2/3 man swf paired with me after 5/6 hours!
Same as killer: WHERE ARE ALL THE STRONG SURVIVORS??
From 15 to 20/21 I just find very very bad survivors! Only from 22 to 2/3 I get strong teams I can actually train with.
this is the important question: where are all the strong survivors that in 2017/8/9 used to be so strong at looping and did gens so efficiently????
I'm not joking, where are those people? even when as killer I go against teams I slaughter them pretty quickly every time! Because every time they either screw around or, most times, do something bad in terms of 1v4, and they fall apart completely!
And they're not even that strong in chase, they're average, and as soon as I pick a killer they don't know how to loop and go against, like Pinhead (my main), it's gg very quickly! This not even using the strongest add-ons, or moris or map offerings!
The strongest survivors I find are usually solos with the same silent/stealthy/competitive survivors characters (Ace, Adam, Claudette, Nancy).
Btw this is not the experience of a single day, this is the experience of multiple days.
So I ask: are you having the same experience?
P.s. it seems it's completely impossible to play vs Nurse, but not because of Nurses using omegablinks, but because of teammates always suiciding/rage quitting as soon as they see a Nurse.
Where are all the strong survivors ? I quit, for good. It's been clear for a while that anything less than a 4k is literally intolerable to killers, and there is nothing that devs won't nerf or entirely destroy to appease killer mains. Problem is, it's never enough. I'm just here right now because I heard a streamer I enjoy who still plays this game say that people were not happy with this major overhaul, so I hopped on the forums to see what people were saying.
Please, quit the game. Don't waste your time on something you hate because it used to fun. That game is long gone.

Easiest thing to do is show the SWF in lobby so killers can prepare. Offer them a ridiculous amount of BP to accept the "challenge".
But SWFs are a protected class
Killers already get to see who they're going against and what they bring. They already get double BP with BBQ. Survivors are now punished and lose add ons, even if killers are AFK. When will it ever be enough for killers?

There's a reason why so many fog whisperers are survivors.
They can lure people into the game and think it's all fun (at the killers expense).
That's the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time. Congrats.
-
Not every swf is a handicap for the killer. This game is miserable to play with friends who are at a different skill level, but killers never admit to that.
-
The events always bring out the worst. I see a lots of games where killers are the only ones not bringing cakes. I used to see tons of moris before the nerf. And survivors have to go harder because they have to win to get the cosmetics. Killers just have to show up.
-
Well congrats, killers have complained about DH so much it's getting nerfed, so you'l have something new to complain about soon.
-
In solo queue, the overwhelming majority of my deaths come from teammates who are flat out unwilling to play. I had two games in a row where all three teammates were alive, all three had BT, and two of them hadn't been hooked once the entire game. I was life to die on my first hook. But sure, once in maybe 20 or so games, I get a skilled teammate.

All 12 masks already, and maybe like 2 escapes gang!!!!1! Edit: This event is brutal.
I don't even see scrolls even when I take the time to find them. We had a Huntress who was a worthy opponent. In the end, we all got out but I liked her so I stayed behind to give her a kill, and I was curious if I could find a scroll. NOPE.
I seem to either see 2-3 a game, or I don't come across a scroll for eight or so games. I was playing with a friend last night and we were playing normally to try to balance out our teammates who wouldn't play until they found one, but he wasn't finding them either.
Survivors don't seem to realize that it doesn't matter if you find a scroll or not if you throw the game at the beginning to find one. As always, these events suck for survivors.
-
The excuse to make the events harder for survivors is kinda BS now that there's a DC penalty, and yet the devs are still doing it. Not only is it harder to get the scroll, with survivors wasting time to find them and having a slower movement speed than the killer, it makes games even harder to win.
-
It's so rare these days that killers let the last person go. I used to see it not a lot, but definitely more regularly a few years ago. I think you're just a little salty you weren't the one they let go, OP.

Finally got 12/12 masks and it's been hard.
One match as killer I never chased anyone (only hooked the AFK one), kicked gens to progress for the challenge and looked for my invitation as gens got rushed. Ended up with a 3k because they had to be toxic so I gave them what they wanted while still getting my mask.
Though the challenges (looking at you, getting hit while vaulting) are OBNOXIOUS
You literally just said you weren't really playing the game and then blamed survivors for ~gen rushing~ you. Are you serious right now?
-
I'm seeing more and more killers who aren't really playing because they're probably survivor mains who hate how these events are always a million times easier for killers.
-
First of all, there was a major nerf to toolboxes, so don't forget that.
I've only recently started using Prove Thyself and specifically trying to get BNPs from the web. There are more and more slow down perks (The Artist literally ONLY HAS SLOW DOWNS, for example), with more and more killers running 3-4 a game, with killers who passively stop you from playing the game like Pinhead or Nemesis or the Artist with her birds or Sadako with her tapes, that survivors can't really play the game.
Lots of times, Prove Thyself is pointless if you're a solo player because lots of survivors are TERRIFIED of playing the game and will not do gens. I cannot tell you how many times I lose with one gen to go, with all four survivors alive and fully healed, because I am the only person trying to do the last gen.
-
They don't care about console players.

@Norhc said:
Pop, Tinkerer, Pain Resonance, Ruin nerfed. PT left alone. Pretty good job so far, as per usual. Can't wait for the 4min matches against gen-hungry SWFs.
Doing gens is how survivors win. Do you really expect your opponents to help you win the game? I guess you should purposely slow down your hooks, huh?
-
I only recently started running Prove Thyself in response to the meta of killers bringing 3-4 slow downs in almost every game. Along with the toolbox nerf, of course, and killers who passively stop you from playing the game, like Pinhead, Nemesis, the Artist, and even Sadako with the tapes. It's your job to stop survivors from doing the gens. And I hate to tell you, but Prove Thyself only works if your teammates are willing to do gens. Play solo for a while and see how many times your teammates ALL stop playing and expect everyone else to finish the last few gens for them. If they even start doing gens at all.
-
Survivors have to win to get the cosmetics. It's a killer's job to stop them from doing gens. Are you really so bad you expect your opponents to help you out?
-
These events are always way harder for survivors. Most of my games start out with ALL THREE teammates looking for scrolls. Never mind the fact that if we don't do all five gens, it doesn't matter if you found one. So the game starts with everyone throwing, and then I play normally and only come across scrolls in about one of eight or nine games. It's not fun or fair, as always.
-
Especially with Haddie in the game now.

I have about 90 cakes and streamers I want to burn through. Wish I had friends to play with so they could benefit from the extra BPs.
I think the reason I stopped using them last year was because unfun games especially with 5 stacks of cake and not getting worthwhile BPs from using them.
I see really toxic behavior during events. I don't want to reward people for being jerks with even more bp.
-
@Laluzi said:
In fairness, I remember not getting nearly enough cakes on my survivor bloodwebs. I had cakes to spare on killers, but as survivor, I genuinely couldn't pull a cake every match.
Not only did we get less cakes, but earning the cosmetics are always harder for survivors. It took me over 500,000 BP once to get a single Bloody Party Streamer on Jane. I will hoard all the cakes I want. 106% is 106% whenever I choose to use it.
-
The event items do seem a lot more plentiful for survivors this year compared to others. Too bad it's still harder for survivors to earn the cosmetics in the game.
-
The event always calms down as it goes on. People act like fools and usually survivors won't even start playing until they've found the crown or scroll this year. It's also always easier for killers to get the cosmetics - so maybe focus on that?
-
As soon as killers stop saying "gen rush," sure.
-
I think his Nightfall is yet another way to get survivors to passively stop playing. If you're on a gen during Nightfall and he comes to you, you're going down. At least I am. I can't see anything and I think that's the point? I really don't know, as a console player we don't matter so we don't get to play the PTB. So if you want to be safe, just hide and don't do gens, and give the killer more time. Nemesis has passive slow downs with the zombies, Pinhead has passive slowdowns with the box and chains, Sadako has passive slow downs with taking tapes, and now the Dredge has Nightfall where you can't see. It's just the new meta.
-
Because there's new DLC to sell.

I like it too. Glad they brought darkness back to the game, its way too bright overall on maps.
I love the blinding brightness of the corn maps that no one asked for, what do you mean????
-
Can't stand Legion games, and so many killers will not hook you if you make it clear you want out, regardless of who they're playing. Just a miserable situation for everyone. Legion players should be able to have fun, but so should survivors.
-
I'm just a console player who doesn't matter - are we supposed to be able to see at all? That part is not snarky - we don't get to play the PTB so I'm not sure if we are supposed to be almost entirely blind or if that's just one more way PC players have it easier with being able to adjust their brightness and use filters.

Make more killers realize that tunneling is the best strat
Cuz before the strat was tunnel the guy with the key
It was really fun for the survivors right?
As if the overwhelming majority of killers don't tunnel and slug as is? Please.
-
jfc, are killers still complaining about keys?
-
I'm always amazed by the things that some killers project into the game.
The entire game is a give and take and most survivors don't seem to realize that. If I don't finish and gen, I know my dog poop teammates will let that gen regress to back to 0%. To me, it's worth it even if I get hooked. I don't care if killers are playing because they want to feel scary and powerful and take their bad day at the office out on me.
I have 2000+ hours in this game, I'm not scared to play it.
-
I think the devs have done a good job of driving away solo players. I can't stand it anymore. The DS nerf was it for me. I either don't play now or I play with friends. Solo queue is absolutely miserable.
-
I'm a PS4 player so the game is broken for me. We can't get into the game at all.

PS5 is having issues too, idk if you're only referring to the matchmaking or something else, but it's not just PS4.
We literally cannot get into the game at all.

That was embarrassing but don't forget the extreme unhook lag that made it nearly impossible to escape the basement. I remember running halfway across the map just to be teleported back into the basement, running into a wall.
My game still lags when people get unhooked. Or when Nurse blinks, when Legion goes into their frenzy, when little Victor flings himself at people, if anyone uses For The People. Just off the top of my head.

Killing game for PS4 players with anniversary chapter. Is this new BHVR Tradition? Honestly it looks like to me.
As I loaded up the game, I was thinking to myself, what game breaking bugs will this update bring? And then I couldn't even load in.
I wish I could refuse to ever spend a dime on this game all over again. It's absolutely ridiculous the way they treat us console players. And I don't want to hear any "last gen" bs. Other games that are far more complicated than DBD run perfectly on those "last gen" consoles that most console players are still using.
-
I can play this game for five hours and escape one or twice. Most of the time theres not even ONE game where all four survivors make it out. Solo queue is a nightmare. I'd literally be winning more in a BR than I do in this game. Genuinely awful.
-
Otherwise killers might have to earn their kills and use some strategy! Thank god indeed!

It’s getting nerfed because many killers don’t know how to deal with dead hard. I wish more people would evaluate their own plays and realize it’s their own mistakes that lost them a match, not dead hard.
Also dead hard is necessary because of many killers, killer add ons and flawed map design.
And they'll just scream that whatever perk we all use when they destroy Dead Hard is OP and needs to be nerfed into the ground, just like DS.

No it's getting changed because it's the most commonly used survivor perk by a landslide and so qualifies for the big meta shift the devs have planned
Are they going to nerf BBQ since its the most common killer perk? What about Corrupt?
-
@The_best_killer_main said:
Ok, so I'm a killer main and I play many matches a day and I see sometimes all 4 survivors with dead hard, and it's the most annoying thing ever . I even get some survivors that T-bag after the killer misses an attack. Dead hard is just a trolling perk .
Another example survivors camp at the exit gate just to gloat, and then dead hard out the way when the killer tries to chase them
Dead hard dose not make you a better survivor . I think it should only be able to use dead hard ONCE during a game.
Just because you don't like a perk doesn't mean it should be nerfed. I'm sorry your feelings got hurt though.
-
I feel so bad for killers who get double BP every game. Especially now that survivors are punished by losing add ons, even when a killer is afk or memeing.
-
@JPLongstreet said:
"Do bones" used to be good advice, the went into meme status. Now it's back to flimsy as hell counterplay.
It's always been moot. Both arguments have always been true - players can cleanse and NOED rewards bad killers. I personally hate the boons. Most of my solo queue teammates will not play injured, period. So much time is wasted and it benefits the killers.
-
I've never seen an entire team use it, even when I'm in a four man SWF.
I see players waste 2-3 minutes running from totem to totem so then can boon and heal. Careful, if they nerf it, survivors might actually do gens.

@Funky_lPunk said:
UB can be annoying in only 2 scenarios - when it's used with DS to make survivor just invincible and when you take a gamble slugging and exactly that one time they have it even tho you usually don't slug.
DS is not annoying on it's own - it's annoying when someone tries to insult u with it when they go in the locker.
DH is finally getting recognized as an issue - even if it lost I-frames it would be best perk in the game, it should be even more complained about.
BT is fine overall as well, but it's feels so unfair when it gets combined with every other 2nd chance. 12 seconds are insane on their own, and yet you also get to use DS and teammate bodyblocks which don't matter due to how strong healing currently is.
DS BT UB DH combo is the purest cancer possible - making survivor invincible for half a match, and that's while there are 4 survivors that can bring it instead of 1. If those perks were used separately in combo with 3-non meta perks you wouldn't see anyone complain. But since there is no variety and their synergy is devastating everyone can't help but complain.
Why do you see going into a locker with DS as an insult? I see it as a killer who chooses to tunnel is also going to choose to waste even more time then. Have you considered just not tunneling? Or should there be no possible counter to what a killer does?
