Yup. I've had the body blocking thing, not to mention teams of idiots running up and blinding me with streamers while I'm working on gens. At times like that i just go find the killer and let them chop me. Screw hanging around in a pointless match.

I just had it happen again in another game. One teammate went down, another tried to help and got sandbagged by a Jake working with the killer. They both killed themselves on hook, and then the killer downed me and held hands and skipped off with the Jake.

Lmao only noobs i see running selfcare anymore are those 15-20

Sometimes you play with people who are 15-20? Sometimes people have jobs and lives and rank reset puts you back with them every month? lmao

Happened to me once. All 3 survivors actively tried to bodyblock me while the killer went after no one but me. Turned out all 3 survivors were in the killer's friends list.

I reported all of them back then but still encounter them every now and then.

I've had it happen with the last survivor left blocked the exit gate, but never all three before. I reported them all but I suspect nothing will happen. Very frustrating. And it seems boring too.

  • As a survivor main, I don't mind going down in one at the end. I mind when my entire team leaves me on my first hook and doesn't even try to find the totem or get me. Has nothing to do with a killer perk. I just played a game against a Plague. She had Corrupt Intervention and I ran around and did all five totems before a single gen got done. NOED has an easy counter if you want to run it.

  • I'd rather know what perks my teammates had. I'd leave if more than one had self care.

  • I'm a level 18 killer and I was getting against 6-10s last night when I played for a couple hours. I'm a level 10 survivor and never get killers that high. Such is life.

  • Best killer perk in the game is self care. I only play solo survivor and I can't stand it. I won't play a game with more than one Claudette in the lobby but most of the time, my entire team runs it. They won't even let me heal them off the hook. Absolutely maddening.

  • The only time I can reliable reveal him is when I'm on the hook. I just assume as soon as I see him I'm down in one no matter what.

  • I never thought it was a trash tier perk. Maybe you need to look inside yourself and think about why you judged it so harshly and assumed everyone else did too.

  • I struggle against Doctor because I need to do at least a little stealthing and he passively takes that away. But from what I've seen, as we get better as a survivor, he will be easier to go against. Now I just play really aggro because he's likely gonna find me anyway. It's kinda fun.

  • Temper tantrum? Some people are just that pissy.

  • Lately it's been Empathy, DS, Prove Thyself, and either Quick and Quiet or Borrowed Time

  • I finally unlocked it on my P3 Nea about three hours before Bill graced our consoles. Thank god.

  • Nothing gets you killed faster than bad teammates. It's painful.

I die most of the time, and almost every game it's on first hook. Most survivors play incredibly selfishly and I'll never learn my lesson. I just died in four of my last five games on my first hook.

Make that five out of six of my last games. Just had all three teammates dc within 60 seconds and the Billy found hatch immediately. Downed me in one at the gate. Is that fun for anyone?

  • I die most of the time, and almost every game it's on first hook. Most survivors play incredibly selfishly and I'll never learn my lesson. I just died in four of my last five games on my first hook.

  • Yeah I hardly ever see him anymore. RIP MoM

  • I kicked self care for empathy and will never go back. Especially when you run empathy, you see how many teammates completely stop doing gens and just hide. I know I'm still a noobier player, but it's absolutely amazing how many teammates each game refuse to do anything and just hope everyone else does all the gens. If I run self care too, literally no one does anything. It's not fun to put yourself at risk when your teammates won't do the same, but no one gets better hiding.

  • I had a game yesterday where while I was being chased for like three minutes straight, two of my teammates rescued our afk teammate from the basement, then left me on my first hook to go into second state. One finished the last gen, which is understandable, and the other couldn't be bothered to get me because she was sabotaging hooks. The one who finished the gen got me off the hook. Then, Sabo Meg opened the gate and waved at me to come closer, while the killer chased me and downed me again. Neither took a hit to protect me. I only got out because of DS.

  • I love the Red Forest, but especially the Temple of Purgation. I love going against the Plague and just like being on her map. And lately, so many weird games have been happening on Ormond that I'm starting to love that map.

  • Self Care should be classified as a killer perk

  • When I was new to the game, I thought Feng's perks were definitely the most helpful and recommend her to any friends that start the game. Once you feel more confident you can try out other perks, but yes, I think it's a good build.

  • I've been getting survivor games faster than ever lately. I also didn't play for like six weeks so my rank reset was pretty high. It slows down for me around 8 am central time though.

I watched a streamer constantly downing the same guy and letting him go (so he didn't bleed out) until he found a Dwight who was hiding near the hatch for the entire game. It got to the point where the guy who kept getting downed ended up helping the killer find the hatch camper using bond.

In the end he hooked the guy that gave away the position of the person who hid all match and gave the hatch camper the hatch because "Hey he did SO well at playing evasive, he deserved it".

    The whole stream cried.

Yeah I just don't understand the hide the whole game mentality. You have to actually play to get better.

I find if there's one other person left, 99% of the time they're camping the hatch, waiting for me to die while I still work on gens. Then as soon as the killer hooks that person, 3, 2, 1 HATCH CLOSED. It's like freakin' clockwork. It's already harder for the slower survivor to find the hatch, but those people make it impossible.

In a bad way. One game, three of us died doing gens, saving and rescuing, and this David that did literally nothing (I saw him go into lockers both times I was hooked) and he let me die on second hook. Then what I saw was the most unfair thing ever. He approached the killer, put down his toolbox, and then they began farming! At least post-chat, killer said he would be more careful on who to spare, but seriously?! O.o

It seems like if killers are just doing their dailies, then the people who do nothing get the benefit of those farms at the end. It's very frustrating.

I can power through Ruin, but I'm more concerned about other survivors being able to do gens. Getting that ruin helps my peace of mind immensely.

I like ruin now. I feel like I can assert my dominance over a killer if with ruin still active I can pop a gen right away. But a lot of people who are still learning the game see ruin and don't even try to do gens.

  • lol 100% accurate. Touching a gen will instantly mori you with Ruin. It's just the facts.

I just had a game where the Doc tunneled Claudette to a dc, can't blame her. The Dwight then spent the entire rest of the game hiding in a locker, I am not even joking. He was full health. It was just me and one Meg trying to do gens. She farmed me off the hook which was fun and then I got tunneled to death. The Dwight never left the locker for all three of my hooks.

You all fail to see the point. Empathy is great if you know what you're supposed to be doing: nothing. Nothing, as long as no one is injured. Once somebody a mile away from gets hit, THEN you know it's gen time. But make sure Urban away to a corner again once they're healed. Gens are dangerous, gotta double check if you're at a safe distance from the killer.

Oh and maybe you've heard, there's a killer who can teleport to gens. In this case, just don't do gens. At all. At some point, Hatch will open, no matter what.

My bad. You're right. Never do gens. Urban evade until all teammates are d-e-d.

I use bond, it's just as frustrating. But it can also be helpful when I have Prove Thyself on. Honestly I'm thinking of taking We'll Make It off. It's so helpful but then people just run away from you to the corner of the map. I just leave them to die if they're gonna do that #########. I once had a guy injured doing a gen while I had We'll Make It up. I kept signaling to let me heal him, but he ignored me and just kept doing the gen until it was done. Once my We'll Make It was gone, and the gen was done, he wanted healing. Sorry buddy, too late, should have let me do it earlier.

Yeah I used to run We'll Make It but it wasn't worth it anymore. Even when others have it, they don't heal me. I don't understand.

  • @fluffymareep said:

I usually bring Bond instead so that I can avoid people sandbagging me and find people. I don't need to see what people are doing across map.

I might give that a try. Thanks.

I too hate feeling for someone else.

Being an unfeeling robot is so much better

At some point, you must realize, that generators have to get done? Unless you're one of the people that just wait for your teammates to die so you can get hatch.

  • @Ember_Hunter said:

I love Empathy, it allows me to heal, and if I see anyone potato around, I heal them up and make them get back into the game ;)

Everyone runs self care and doesn't do gens. There are times when all three teammates are self-caring.

  • @TrueKn1ghtmar3 said:

Lmao id just run over and whip them into shape with a pallet drop (sprint burst and light weight good luck finding me and not the one who isn't doing anything)

I had a Tapp today, I got him off the hook, followed him to heal him, AND HE DROPPED A PALLET ON ME LIKE I WAS THE FREAKIN' TRAPPER. (Side note: I was not)

  • It's been my experience that only good teammates can counter the face camper. Most aren't willing to take hits or trade or run borrowed time and just farm you off the hook, if they help at all. I think the only cure is to rank up so you play against better killers who don't do that.

  • Don't run at the start of the game. I can't tell you how often I hear the heartbeat within seconds but the killer is just checking gens at the start. No scratch marks to follow, you can usually play it cool and avoid the killer.
