Like i said...... Be more creative about your traps..............
EXAMPLE (I will only give one) Put a trap on the corner of a L or T. So when you are being looped. The trap is in an unexpected place during chase. Now you have a survivor in a dying state
that is a very common spot. have you ever actually played against trapper?
next you'll tell me to trap the shack corner...

Yeah no. Dead hard over a trap. And a killer gets a hit
Its like, you dont care the survivors barely have anything to keep them off the hook. Especially BAD surivivors.
Sounds like you just want EASY MODE
Here is a thought.... Stop putting traps in HORRIBLE spots? Trapper is by far my most successful killer IE doorways, pallets, and windows. Be more creative
Almost nowhere you put a trap matters when they can just dead hard over it.
doorways? pallets? dead hard.
you can pretend it doesn't absolutely destroys any planning and herding you did while playing trapper if you want... just shows you don't play trapper nearly enough to understand how bs this is.
windows are the only thing that still works, because they are locked in an animation

I am a killer main. I whole heartedly DISAGREE with you
Trapper needs a SLIGHT buff.
Dead Hard on the other hand, is usually a non issue. For any killer. Although Dead Hard does need a slightly longer cooldown
yeah... no.
dead harding over a trap is the most BS thing ever.
it's like if there was a perk where, after you stun the killer you lose a health state.

I disagree on that.
I see a "default thirdperson shooter" as: You face other person or people, shooting eachother with guns, headshots do lots of damage, maybe take cover every now and then.
In Alan Wake, the enemies have no ranged options besides the occasional melee weapon throw, so most combat is melee based.
This in turn gives Alan the ability to dodge, which isn't a free-to-use move like ducking or moving sideways in any shooter game.
Flares keep enemies away from you, and you can choose how to use the flare as well.
There's the possessed objects and swarms of crows that hunt you down and can't be defeated by simply shooting them. (Unless you got a flare gun. (OP btw.))
Now if your definition of a thirdperson shooter differs from mine, fair enough, then idk what to tell you.
This is mine.
Idk, for such a story-heavy focused game, i think it does more than enough to keep the gameplay fresh.
Certainly wouldn't be everyone's taste, but i have a good time replaying it every now and then.
default 3rd person shooter is: 3rd person camera. You shoot at things and or enemies.
enemies may be humans and/or creatures. attack from range and/or close quarters.
dodging and/or taking cover may or may not be part of it. (but usually is)
projectiles such as molotovs, grenades, dinamite, rocks, arrows etc: may or may not be part of it aswell.
You may or may not have melee options. but, by design, your guns are your main attack.
this to me is the skeleton of every basic 3rd person shooter.
and without the flashlight mechanic, Alan wake has nothing that doesn't fit here.
Which is why the gameplay gets pretty stale eventually, imo. it's just more of the same. "oh hey, it's night again and Alan's stupid ass didn't bring the spotlight from yesterday with him".
fatal frame is also a story-heavy focused game. and like Alan wake, the gameplay is kinda secondary to it.

Maybe.
I just have that feeling more with FF than most other horror games.
With Alan Wake for example, i can remove its flashlight mechanic, and still feel like it has more unique things to offer.
I just don't get that from FF. 🤷♂️
I feel like if you remove the flashlight mechanic from Alan Wake, all you have left is default 3rd person shooter. 🤷♀️
at least gameplay wise...

does the store not have a more direct line of contact? I feel like there will be a few steps for this post to reach someone from the store

Isnt that the game originally called Project Zero? If yes, i woule love to see it in DbD.
I don't know...
It's the one where you take pictures of ghosts to fight them.
@Boss said:
Not really.
What makes that franchise stand out is the camera mechanic, but that's also really it.
The rest is spoopy ghosts, and we got that.
Not that i'm against adding it.
We already got a whole slew of names in here, might as well bring this one in.
Just saying that i'd feel like it would be the most mediocre license addition thus far.
but... can't you do that with basically any game? single out it's unique mechanic and add "but that's also really it"?
I honestly have no idea why they never made a VR fatal frame... feels like one of the few game franchises that justify it... (looking at you half-life alyx)

you only really need bbq. everything else just gets you to the cap faster.
use freddy, doctor or legion. get get a bunch of bps.

When out in the open, yeah it's easy to dodge, but when you drop/vault a pallet or hop a window, you have less time to react & fake it bcuz his windup time + movement is alot better than PH's. Deathslinger can also hit you, but not injure you while Nemesis' is a guaranteed hit if it hits you. If it is slower, then it isn't by much so it doesn't justify it being 2 hits.

Maybe I didn't express myself properly.
I didn't mean the speed of the attack itself, I meant the speed of the start up. The "right mouse click" part.
Also nemesis has an audio cue, which makes it easier aswell
-
Did you get the "killer blinded" score event?
Because killers can avoid those by just looking up
-
It's super easy, barely an inconvenience to dodge his tentacle. It's a slower deathslinger harpoon. The hits he gets are basically the same as PH, when the survivor is locked in animation
-
I look for hatch.
If it's closed, I crawl to the middle-ish area.
Many killers have missed me when I "stand" in the open after they closed the hatch.
-
Having fun is the goal.
Fun is just doing the stuff in the game, getting in chases, trick the other player, successfully using your power, having the meme build work...
Stuff like that

It's more noticeable on console. But people on pc are talking about frame drops aswell

Don't break pallets. It's a free hit every time they vault

and if you loop a survivor near a zombie (which in my experience, happens quite often), it's hilarious. and can lead to some nasty double hits.

I’m sorry In the game the hair looked the same in RE3R Jills Classic outfit had the same hair and Leon in RE4 had longer hair. Once again probably not there decision because when Bubbas old lady outfit came out it was originally a set but then they unlinked it. Capcom probably wanted it to be a set.
I would have gone with her RE1 outfit. iconic and different.
I think it was a poor choice of cosmetic for her...either by behaviour or capcom... doesn't really matter

Blast mine takes priority but if you want to use repressed alliance because of ruin just get off and on the gen since you need to work on the gen for 3 seconds to activate blast mine
correct. it's a nice touch.

I actually did that against a Blight with Pop. Gen was like 90% done, so I Blast Mine it, let him kick it and then I Repressed Alliance on it and he didn't get to use his Pop. Felt good since it was the final gen.

Lol, OP wasn't even mad, why you getting so tilted? Im not being an @$$ (or whatever [BAD WORD] you were using), clearly some people thought it was kinda funny. If he wants to shout at the developers, some people would call that a jerk move, its all about perspective.
you are implying emotion when I just said it as a matter of fact.

ya people 3k all the time sure but obviously he seems to not have great perks on his trapper, probably is not a trapper main, hopefully he is lucky and has all three of those perks on a killer. I personally thought it was easy but I play a decent amount of trapper without knowing everyone's background I just don't see how you tell them they should do it easily. That's all I mean by it.
you are assuming they don't have good stuff unlocked on their trapper. they might have, but just don't like playing trapper.
also, I didn't say it was easy. I said it wasn't hard. easy and hard aren't the only 2 options.
whatever character he plays, he will eventually 3k. either by randomly finding easy survivors or by getting good at it. all this takes is time.
-
@chargernick85 said:

You do realize that not every person that plays has every single perk on every killer right?
I know.
I said, A killer. whichever killer they have it unlocked on.
if they have none, then they have to play trapper or leave the challenge for later.
either way, killing 3 people in 1 trial is pretty normal. people do it all the time. you just gotta put enough time into it.

First of all, i wasn't criticising, I was making a joke. The more you yell, the faster they fix, funny joke, no?
My suggestion is to not take a game so seriously, I guess? I get that some people feel entitled to dictate how fast BHVR puts out bug fixes because they chose to spend hundreds of dollars on it, but they CHOSE to do that. I got this game for free and have unlocked all killers for $30 total.
I absolutely love this game and want it to do well. BUT I also understand the complexities of how game design works, and a game with this many variables is only going to have more bugs every time they add stuff. And bugs are extremely hard to decipher and find, much less fix.
If we want the game to survive, they must keep putting out new content, causing significant resources to continue to be siphoned from the bug-fix team. I wish they could skip a release for QOL improvement, but the fact is, the lack of revenue and loss of community interest would likely sink the game.
Would it be great if they came out with a hotfix? Sure. Do I feel entitled to have the devs do anything other than stop supporting the game at any second? I do not.
being an ######### to random people online is not funny or helpful.
it's just you being an ######### for the sake of being an #########
