Why would people want to make use of their perks? Great question.
Yeah but the again it starts the question of its ok for some perks to be that strong while they power is determined by their purpose and doing something out of it kinda kills it.
if you use something agressively then you cant be angry when other side does so too. Tha counts doing gen in killers face or forcing bodyblocks or dennying hooks with bodyblocks etc. if you play agressive you cant just expect other side to sit there and take it thats not how it works its just action and reaction.

5 basekit anti-hooking perks besides BT? What?
Today theres too many good perks that already shape the outmatch of the game especialy as antitunnel.
Claiming that they arent strong while they sit still top in meta and are amlost in every game even when killer doesnt tunnel they can still be forced on him and claiming it sint a case is nonsece.

Gens aren’t playing the game.
No but gens done in time are deciding game and mainly decide killers decisions, like if someone playing normaly looses 3 gens in first few chases he may start play more "dirty" then if he didnt.

Wesker doesn't start every chase directly behind you with a mountain of free information, haste, and a ranged attack.
No wesker doesnt have haste he has exact same speed as jason both are 4,6 m/s (just jason looses it after 25 seconds).
I would argue weskers two dashes can be better on some loops then jasons spears where he has one shot and must be very accurate or he must go his way out of chase to refil it or use power all that makes jason better than wesker is his mobility which wesker doesnt have and his two dashes just do little more distance then walking there with W.
All I would change on jason is his power cooldonw just 12 seconds is bit short so atles make it like 15, then I would increase his cooldown on omnipresent at the start of the match to these 12 seconds minimaly (it would kinda even help him because survivors would start on gens and thats when he would later could locate them or palces where they were or are).
Another change would be limited omnipresent time so he cant stay in it as he likes or limit detection of his power to like 25 seconds or around that number this would make him more well done.
In my opinion his spear is good and doesnt need any changes, his anticamp cooldown on his mobility isnt that bad either and the speed buff well if these changes would go through I suggest I dont think it needs another nerf it would make just his mobility more limited in use and make games go faster by not making him able to being in power as he likes and camp in it or atleast he could loose the tracking ability after some time as I suggested above.

Thats the main reason I don't play the event tbh
Poison is frustrating as survivors and the insta heal, unbreakable pallet/portails are also very frustrating.
I'm so glad the base game is in another queue
Well all you get as survivor is killers which work well with poison and can bypass like two effects from cakes which is logical when killers have to deal with the amoth of bs that survivors have and what comes from that?
Event that isnt fun both as survivor or killer, deffinitely worst one we ever had feels like 2016 version of DBD just slap it on steam and let them cook (infinites and another dozens of bs things in that mess) only thing that 2016 busted version of DBD had better was atmosphere which this event doesnt.

Jason being overstuffed isn't the standard we should be using but it kind of isn't 100% superior. If all four people crouch Jason get zero information. There is no similar counter to Legion aside from spreading out and hoping he picks the wrong direction.
More than one thing can be braindead. I hate SB and Vigil. I dont use Windows but it's not necessarily braindead. There's no way for people to know what pallets their teammates have already used. SP isn't doing that much more than a locker can do against aura. Killers have many perks that activate from them doing either nothing at all or from them failing at a task.
All you have to do against legion is to jump on gens and spread same like you do when putting butter on your bread because if you spread his chance to get 4 hits and finish someone with 5th is way smaller, on top legion is bad in chase just m1 so if survivors dont stay all piled in one location and do gens spread legion has no such power all he can do is get faster injure and maybe break pallets with frenzy if he has his best addon and thats it.

Because Killer Instinct is, again, the most braindead, handholdy mechanic in the whole game. Legion has a terrible design. He gets the most free hits of anyone. If you can't land the first hit with LoS while going super fast that's a you problem, because the other three hits are free. There's no reason for Legion to have this when he gets a big red beacon to follow. Like what does he need scrach marks for?
Killer instinct works only in certain situations adn same can be said yout arua reaading. Legion is easy to injure muiltiple survivors but then just m1 killer who doesnt have anything to aid him to get down basekit. Why he shouldnt have them when he doesnt have the killer instinct yet hmm?
He should have normal tracking till he gets first hit in feral frenzy and you hating him I get it but realy your hate is blinding you legion is not even b-tier killer he is underpowered in modern era.
Reworks are what many characters need but we all know how fast it goes and I bet the devs wont get skullmerchant done in 2026 they will maybe get barely trappers.
-
@cogsturning said:
I would love for Legion to get scratchmarks instead of KI but I doubt anyone who plays him would be willing to let go of the game"s most handholdy mechanic. Comparing him to Jason is pretty bad in this case. Jason's KI is at least counterable. Legion's isn't.
Why istead thats kinda stupid, he should have scratch marks and pools of blood like any other killer and only time it should be blocked like its now is when he injured that survivor with feral frenzy but why he doesnt have same tracking as any other killer when he enters frenzy and didnt hit anyone its stupid.
Another archaic part from time where it made sence but its totaly unacceptable nowdays just like trapper steping into his own traps or pinhead breaking his chains etc. litellary the relic of old times.

I thought that was main reason the diminishing returns were implemented so many weaker and bad perks could use some buffs in numbers but they couldnt be abused due to this feature but it seems it got forgoten somehow.

The main issue for me is - by nature: it is asymmetrical gameplay, so one side always will have other issues or problems than the other. So any discussion about "well survivors have that too" is not really helpful in my opinion.
From my point of view (solo q main, never playing swf, rarely playing killer) survivor just overall is less stressful and also somewhat feels less painful. Which is a bit absurd as you are the one who should be scared and running for your life, but that's another topic I guess.
Like. If a killer has a bad game, everyone around him gets cocky, maybe even rude and in the end you just feel like you failed completely. Because you are the one who is supposed to have power and control.
As a survivor there are so many things that can happen which are out of your control. Teammates trolling, tunneling/camping, a decisive mistake from yourself or teammates…
It feels less frustrating when you can get into a mindset of "well, there was nothing I could do because the others…".
As a killer, there IS NO OTHERS. The burden is on you. Solely on you. And that can feel overwhelming and scary. Survivors will never get into this situation by default.
Also as a survivor you can have a game that feels alright although you die - you looped well, you saved someone else, three others get out…
A killer who has a game without any kills almost never can feel alright about it unless you went in with no real intention on killing in the first place.
Now. What could be a solution to make killer players feel better about the game? I don't know. One point definitely is the matchmaking. You just never know if you get the baby Dwight sandbagging Megs - or some 4-man-SWF with full meta that's going in to steamroll you.
I think this insecurity somewhat feeds the anxiety for some.
Survivor is less stressfull becuae you arent alone on many things but as killer you are and all your mistakes are making bugger impact then survivor doing mistakes like for killer game can be way worse if he misses just one m1 or m2 hit compare to survivor missing one skillcheck.
As you said above if you missplay a lot then everyone gets cocky and if you do something its 4 against 1 in getting called bad etc. so this makes killer more stressful then survivor.
Soloq sucks I know it but I would say playing m1 killer that isnt that good is more stressful and harder then soloq because even in soloq there are teammates that can carry you but as killer nothing carries you just you alone, theres no one that will save you if you do something wrong.

We need all the content creators to make survivor anxiety videos now.
The Us vs Them crowd really ain’t doing this topic any favors
Both roles have anxiety yet only one side is backed by basekit features through years and still complains till today.
Latest ones being pallet desity still being a thing (even when devs claimed they fix it but they didnt like always) and safer unhook protection that work even in endgame which is its main issue.
-
I think they shouldnt doge everything like before where when they were fresh thing in the game they basicaly doged everything that flew at them if there was space before projectile hit them.
Now they shouldnt doge everything as before but still some slow traveling projectiles like pyramidheads m2 are almost impossible to hit because they are slow and bots have lot of time to doge them and they doge only things that come at them I believe.
They still have walls so like when they are left with hatch they always run towards it like clear wall hacker, cant be mindgames at loops where they have zero line of sight on the killer and are 100% accureate with flashlights.
Buts have flaws (thankfully) but still some things they do way better then actual players but I believe they now move more around and dont doge everything thats thrown at them as before.

Anyone who still pretends that this event is soo survivor sided has absolutely no game sense.
Depends like all on rng and who is facing who.
One thing is clear and thats survivors has more effects and keep them longer then killers, some effects are so powerfull that make some m1 based killers totaly unplayable.
Poison is strong but on killer which powers works with it becuase m1 killer like pinhead will get very small value from poison compare to bubba or legion which are kilelrs that have powers and even addons that work well with poison making their chases faster which is something that they lack in normal 1v4 where pinhead is better then them.
Another huge fact is that carts usualy spawn to so far from tables and i have scrren shot above your post I react too where its just few meters away but still 20 meters isnt that far either, carts spawn in clusters which with effects like invisibility basicaly makes survivors super hard to get because they can regain them again and again wasting lot of time from the killer.
Anyone who has some game sence knows survivors are clearly more favored in this event then killers and sees that if they rush 4 gens asap they make killer loose poison but they keep cakes for themself if they had one in hand before 4th gen poped which makes them hold more power plus following effects from carts and tables are 20 seconds of elusive and endurence which are by far strongest survivors effects and deffinitely way stronger then what killers get which is 20 seconds of lightborn or undetecteable which are effects that arent that great compare to survivors ones.
-
Hmm….no thanks I think its good the way it is and if you still have problems getting saves with it then simple try harder because nothing was better then survivor running across the 1/4 of the map to pull the save.
Balanced indeed and wonder why slugging is considered good.

Perfecly balanced as all things should be.

Yeah this is by far the worst part of the event LOL
You basically HAVE to keep visiting to poison when you can as killer, its a painTbh (if I got it right) poisoning tables is kinda worthless because true power of poison comes when survivors have to run and considering the cooldown of poison its much smarter to poison key pallets like shack one or use it just in the chase to hit survivors directly or points like windows and pallets on loops they currently run to get poison to work for maximum effiency.
I had some not great table spawns too but considering the power of the effects and this was portals and invisibility which makes with bonus from table all items recharge charges and some survivors gain items (like I got many times toolbox with BNP from this bonus no jokes) and makes portals basicaly guarantee escape from chase or killer (unless survivor makes huge mistake) yeah its busted kida this fits for it
edit: kinda funy how many people downvote it when this pic clearly shows how this set up is busted beyond.

lmao yeah i mean the RNG is insane. the closest tray to a table could be miles away so setting the table is a complete waste of time, or the closest tray could practically be on top of the damn table lol
Longest I have seen was like 40 meters distence or something like that like 1/4 of the map nearly but fact is you cant see auras of the carts so there can be some around closer but no one sees it.
Thing is here one survivor can do it in like 40 seconds or two survivors can do table in 15 seconds which is nuts cosidering this was portals and invisibility on one of still largest maps.

Yeah I dont understand the logic behind this. Maybe a Dev can explain this a bit better in full. We still have heard nothing about her, the state shes in, and whats going on.
Either something gone wrong in matrix and this is its result or it was done by dev who played only survivor in time when merchant came into the game and has ptsd and this is his justice, I cant find another reasonable explanation for this.
-
Just with pig (back where her meme comes from the legendery "nerf pig") they always somehow spit into face of lesser killers, add salt to their wounds and throw dirt in their eye Idk why becuase I believe these lesser killers that are low tier dont deserve such smoke but somehow they always get it.
Lately I fear they more do bandaid choices in fixing, they probably want to save time with fixing and move next but their fixes arent that great we could see it on many killers especialy when certain bugs become features like knight where survivor chased by guard touches window the guard does the same wasting more time and not hitting him or ghoul where his vault has window where he has no colision so if times well survivor can vault through him etc.
Only salvation is for merchant her legendary rework but we all know they arent fast with reworks and even when they take that amoth of time they still have many flaws like latest trickster or mayers reworks where mayers one first wasnt that great. I hope she will get reworked till 2027 but they should do trapper now and then her while trickster was planned for this year and he is done but seeing how time goes by I have bad feeling they will extend it by another year saddly.
-
Idk whats your problem but there are tables too far from cakes.
This distance is unacceptable, hope they bring the carts closer to the tables so survivors arent so hindered by this nonsence.
-
This makes survivor gameplay way harder then it should be.
I think devs should add carts to the tables closer so the distance wouldnt be that big.
I believe we all agree on this "pretty good job".

i genuinely hated that era of 2v8 as killer; bots have wallhacks and can't be mind gamed, so chases are boring because you have to brute force. that's so boring and sometimes terrible for some killers so I ignore them.
if you ignore bots, you're a sweaty tryhard. However, if you target the bots you're also a tryhard. I did not like being put in that catch 22
That mindset doesnt matter DBD community is up there in one of most entitled communites on how everyone should play thats why survivor rule book etc. are memes only for 1/2 and for some people its the code as bible (there was one streamer asked if he would played the game since it clebrates 10th anniversary and he said basicaly what i wrote above plus he havent seen "nicer community" which twitter part of the community proved he was right by their posts explaining how "great guy " he is).
Sweaty or not bots had few issues one were walls they always found herbs (which triggered survivors) and hatch (which bothers killers because then its not rng when one side has guarantee info on hatch whereabouts), they didnt saved in killers terror radius which wasnt nice and they hid a lot plus cherry on top some of them were having toxic personaly of bodyblocking and canceling actions an other bs things that waste time and hinder the team.
Only possitive they brought or few othem in my opinion was 1. bit faster queue times and 2. if there was bot then you knew someone was coming to uncage you because their priority was uncaging and healing then gens they played as support so if your team was big dohnut then meaning no one was coming to uncage you in time then bots were fixing it (one of issues why people hate cages even when the tru issue is teammates same as when they left you on hook too long in 1v4 to hit second stage.
I think I covered everything from my experience and I think I get it right (about bots ).

Ive had some fun matches but it seems to have lower lows for both sides, with the added fun usually being zero sum and coming at the expense of the other side.
Playing Pinhead I just get embarrassed and feel lucky with 1k then I switch to Bubba and then it flips around to me having everybody death hook at 5 gens.
I tried pinhead too and well one 4k and then I didnt faced potatoe soloq team and get cooked two times but what should be expected from m1 killer which power doesnt work with poison.
Now I play only billy, bubba, jason, mayers, wesker, legion, vecna, henry, dracula, plague and they can deal with it with poison.
Still there are games where survivors get invisibility or pallets and good rng and arent bad so I loose but I have less of them then on m1 based killers and vecna can deal with it his abilities outplay or can outplay anything there especialy with poison.
-
I dont think it will be welcomed, like few 2v8 before they tried something like this that so for shorter queue times 1-2 bots were added to lobby and survivors hated it (for obvious reasons) so I doubt it will be welcomed in 1v4 format.

his possessed chain barely deserves to be called a power, thats my only gripe with him. his chain hunts go hard
Its hard to hit more then nurse blink or henrys vines and its power is way smaller, then there comes the main cons like chains breaking instantly from colliding with objects, survivors or the killers body so you just cant place them anywhere you must hit them form specific angles to get some value from them like when survivor vaults window you bust hit chain from behind the window where he vaulted and not into his back because many chains will break. Then the additional chains are weak like ceno needs that purple addon to have them more and with it its total game changer comapre to playing without it.
Cenobites box and chainhunt are still good but his active power the possed chain fell off a lot but shame is I doubt we will have some buffs when he is gone and I doubt he will return maybe in 2 years but then theres question if the devs will take him back or push forward with another chapters taht will cost them money.

I'm not discounting any of that. I'm just saying an event that has elements that make it harder to escape as a solo player is not mutually exclusive from an event that has really powerful tools for the survivor.
I played few days as survivor mostly due to having bonus when bloodhunt bonus 2x was added to it so I had more bp.
I escaped many games and some I died but all depended on teammates like two games in the row I got same duo (I knew it by them having same characters and names as the ones from previous game) and we totaly destroyed two ghouls packed with meta both of them (ghouls) were totaly wodering what happened so it depends because swf even in just duo can totaly abuse tables to maximum value which soloq can too but its way harder.
Tbh I found best solution to abuse cakes and rush gens to 1 gen left where killers loose all agenda from event (they will loose all poison) while you can keep dessert and cakes give you endurence and elusive plus if you had modifier like invisibility or pallets with invincibility then you will have way more resources than in normal 1v4 and killer must tunnel or slug or he is cooked. Ofcourse it depends on team like mmr shouldnt work in events or be super wide, wider them in normal 1v4 so you have chance to get matched with potatoes and then its loss but same dager has killers by getting very good survivors that can be in the swf and beat them easily.
I faced mostly killers that work with poison like bubba, jason, plague, ghoul but even then I had some freddy, nemesis, springtraps but mostly it were same killers which doesnt surprise me because i play only like 10 killers too in this event, killers that can take it and work well with poison to get as much value in hooks till the one gen left situation where I loose the poison.
-
It wouldnt because he isnt that great only overvalued by dreadge mains mostly just like pig is by her mains.
Better solution would be to spawn more of single lockers in the match.
Why single lockers and not duo of lockers?
Because two lockers are more against him where one can be locked and even when he chooses the unlocked one it puts him into the locked one thats why good surviors lock only one locker when the lockers are next to each other and bad survivors lock both.
If dreadge would have more single lockers in the trial in key locations so there wouldnt be so big dead zones for his tp then he would be decent killer, now he is like low b-tier to b-tier killer and some maps like farm maps or garden of not enjoy are totaly loosing maps for him.

SoloQ in the event is really not that strong in pratice, despite the monstrous potential. You get buffs but they're unreliable. The killer's new toy is always consistent because only one person is making the judgement of optimal usage.
That's not to say it's killer sided, but escape has been anything but easy. Gens not getting done, teammates trying to bully and being bad, taking unavoidable hits in chase without seeing table-setting value to offset this until I'm already on hook…
I also think there's a mentality amongst people playing killer in the event. Hearing from all sides that the event is literally impossible to win as killer and that all survivors playing it are going to abuse the strongest elements of the event flawlessly has resulted in some of the most aggressive play-to-win tactics I've seen.Depends on which survivors you get, which boster they get invis or invincibility you cooked if the are good, speed boost is manegeable but still they can rush. which map like gideon with pallets and you are cooked even with bubba or billy unless you play someone who can go by the pallets.
In my experience even single duo in this event can make tables very controllable and mess with killer a lot and I have seen it both as killer and as survivor. The true bus comes later when one gen is left killers loose all their event powers and can only gain not so great effects from tables and carts while survivors keep their cakes in their hands and can gain endurence and elusive from carts which are best effects which survivor can have.
One invisiable cake and save that wouldnt be possible or easy becomes super easy, the powers survivirs have are truly over killer only thing killers can use is poison and that works well on less then half of the killer roster because m1 killers are here cursed and majority of them cant deal with pallets that are unbreakable or other stuff like poison works best with killers that effect deep wound or broken or have instadown so legion, ghoul, plague, mayers, billy, bubba are great here but killers like freddy, dreadge, sadako, pig get cooked here is survivors are decent.
Not to mention with flashlightand two perks you can have tool that outplays poison like in 4-5 chases (4-5 times used on you) which is another thing majority of survivors are clueless about because if everyone did it then killers would get like half of the value from poison which would meant more success for survivors.
SWf here is godly because coordinating with all the powers can give survivors so many second chances which in the past they could only dream about like great swf controls adrenalin but here just one or two guys can control table that gives that heal globaly not to mention I have seen in many games as survivor/killer carts with desserts spawn like 15 meters from table so just one guy can operate it super fast and spawn the effects which messes up even killers that do great in this event kile ghoul.

Id argue current Trickster is better for proxy camping since he's much better at preventing the unhook all together thanks to the faster recovery and less knives needed. Not to mention if he does have Main Event available theres no delay/grace period once the survivor is unhooked, and Main Event itself is better than it ever was with a longer duration and faster movement speed.
I had much better results with old trickster then this current one especialy with proxy camping where i turned many games around 1 hook into 4k thanks to how old main event worked.
Maybe he is in total better only due to fact that injure takes 6 knifes but dont forget any more wasted knife is huge punishment, you have less of them and you are slower even when reloading due to speed difference in long run.
-
I saw it, looks like they arent same as before like before bot would run from killers terror radius but now some even stealth in it or go for saves which is upgrade.
Some are total megheads while others are goats in terms of their behaviour looks like devs spiced their actions.
-
If you play event then you would notice tables where survivors stack cakes for busted effects are taking gen spawn minimaly and on some maps even whole buildings like the one on swamp wheres gen o top etc.
This I believe doesnt matter if you play classic mode or the baquet one with bonuses because these tables spawn in both which compleatly chnages the gen spawn palces.
Some people doom post here but its just even caused bs.
@Rogue11 said:
I think its been worse since the event started. Feels like the banquet tile messes with gen spawns

I dont know which stubborn engineer came up with that idea that pallets that are unbreakable can be vaulted over and over by survivors (because entity doesnt block pallets because killers can break them normaly compare to windows but these cant be broken) and that survivors can pick them up and rebuild the broken ones like common infinites with infinite pallets becuase survivors can rebuild them faster then 4 scouts in 2v8.
Answer is playing killer with power that can somewhat ignore them like ghoul, wesker, legion can vault them or killers like nurse, henry (the first) can play without needing to break them (except few god pallets on gideon agains henry but his mobility can pass them), vecna can use mage hand or many ranged killers can play around them like jason. Doctor with poison might be god here because the safer the pallet usualy is the better his shock becomes as antiloop especialy here with poison on top.
Fact is that map with most god pallets in the entire game (theres like 5-7 god pallets which is nuts) shouldnt be problem right? If devs actualy thought and played their game so their game sence would be high enough to make them able to see problem there.
edit: dracula isnt bad either.
Personaly I wasnt blessed with this map with this modifier with inc´vincibility……well was but I played vecna(netflix one) and I 4k literally you must play by his voice lines "I will show you no mercy."
-
Well thats not so great 3 gen unless killer has super great mobility or power to patrol two of them at the same time (ghoul, knight) but that one in the main on second floor is safest and gives you lot of room for prerun and los on big part of the map so you cant be surprised as guy down on gen.
I havent seen 3gens as bad as before, they exist and still some 3gens are created by survivors mainly because of how they operate and repair gens closest to them so 3 are left close to each other.
I the event now theres more of them becaues of the tables taking some gen spawns like in main etc.
-
More then cakes I miss event bonus bp for done gens or hooks etc. as it was before and the lack of bloodhunt that will now end.
This combination is mess bigger then cakes for me.

His main event was not holdable that long before. He had to hit you a few times in the unhook situation itself before raelly threatening unhooks.
But yeah many killers are better than him at proxy camping, it's just one of the few things he got stronger at after his rework.
It held 30 seconds after you hit 8 knifes so his old main event was better now its just mess and most of times majority of tricksters rather use s-rank then main event and only use main event when they are low on knifes or s-rank is about to end or they have addons for it but in majority of cases the main event isnt that good on current trickster and people that play him know it.
He isnt best just range version of bubba but worse near hooks and better at loops he can throw over.

You just explained it yourself. A bunch of perks turn off that weren't like that before in order to give Killer an easier chance at securing kills. Survivors don't have any comparable "catch up". Base kit BT is the bare minimum they can do, honestly.
Its not just basekit bt its +10% haste which makes huge difference and these perks are off for a good reason, because perks like otr or ds would make unhooked survivors untoucheable especialy ds.
Killers lost lot more:
+10 seconds on hook for each state
anhook protection which is 15 seconds of bt and haste which is more then old bt ever was
So as I named it the cons goes to killer more then to survivor.

He can down the unhooker from range. With the constant threat of main event combined with the mid range he does not trigger anti-camp while effectively threatening unhooks and forcing survivors to group.
And oh boy does he love grouped up survivors.
He could do that before now its good with one addon i believe but hooks arent all so well positioned so he can do it and there are way more killers which have better m2 power for dealing with unhooks not maybe from such range (except maybe jason) but they are better for it, trickster just can damage one guy at the time so before his rework he was way better near hooks with constant threat of a main event then he is now.

Thing is main event cant be used like near 20 meters radius around hook and knifes are limited plus you have less of them, anticamp is stronger the longer you are near hook.
Old trickster the 4,6 version could take one health state with 8 knifes and then had guarantee main event every time without any restriction around hooked survivors so new trickster is actualy worse in being proxy then the old one was.
Olny difference is that you cut people down bit faster but on safer high wall loops it takes you longer thats it same killer, very simular with power reworked so only few like him and I havent seem him in long run.

Nothing realy just you have to hit more accurate and ranks well they dont do much unless you have a rank or s rank where throw speed and reload time is better and with s rank your laceration meter doesnt fall off but thats it. Main even is trash more then before and mostly its only worth using when your s rank is about to end.
Other then that he is just same just stronger where he was before and weaker where he struggled before, ranks arent doing much only the two highest ones do something and if you miss (sometimes even when you dont miss) its just reload similator.

Well if they give survivor that amouth of bs like now in this event I dont see nothing bad about poison only thing that can be called bad is thats not fun and engaging play but that same with survivors getting global heals from table or making pallets unbreakable and then can vault them over and over or use and spam invisibility and escape chases super free or abuse portals.
In short if one side gets that much of a crap then other side should get it too.
Not to mention on 1 gen left survivors can get 20 seconds of elusive and endurece while killer gets 20 seconds of lightborn or oblivious which arent same effects in power thats like pigs dashj vs mayers one in terms of usefullness.

This doesn't make sense to me.
Survivor endgame has been nerfed to the point where basekit BT is all that's left (aside from teamwork, which is a toss up). You don't think there should be a free kill, but you think you should be able to healthy hook grab during a part of the game where you're encouraged to camp. Those two statements contradict each other.
Nerrfed?
You live in which dimension. All I know is through years hook grabs are gone so pros for survivor, some meta second chance perks such as ds,otr are turned off so cons for survivors, the antihook protection is still there with buff time in full time 15 seconds with haste so pros for survivors.
Now tell me thats bad for survivor, anticamp was never in endgame and was only meant for time of the trial when gens are a thing so killer doesnt hard camp close to hook or facecamps but devs cleary stated they know in endgame killer has nothing so guarding a hook is must.
SO again some very strong perks dont work -
Killers cant grab +
Antihook protection stays there with full time of 15 seconds with haste +
So what negative survivors have in endgame compare to old days? Maybe they cant use ds but thats been gone more then 5 years ago, so nowdays survivors are strongest in endgame then ever actualy so Idk where you see that allmighty nerf when they have more compare to what they had 5 years ago.

pre running comp players did not need these portals. Invisibility is so ridiculous when chase music is too loud.
TRY FINDING SURVIVOR'S WHILE LISTENING TO HENRY'S CHASE MUSIC AAAAAA
Tbh most of times it even start chase music when they eate cake behind corner and are already invisible in your los and this is cherry on top not to mention the sound form invis cake makes their footsteps hidden even more.

The healing sucks when in chase with an injured person but I actually love them when someone is downed. They can never make any distance and just go down again. It's so hilarious.
Also love when they give me free Surge value:
Healing sucks for m1 who cant catch up but it heals with every table effect so from invis, invincible or sprint cakes.
The invisibility with portals is the worst for me and them pallets when you play killer who cant get around them like ghoul, wesker, dracula, vecna because they make basicaly god loops and even infinites that killer (some killers but like half of them mostly depending on loop type) cant outplay even with poison because if the sit on pallet and just fast vault the gain from poison is minimal maybe gives you like 1 slow vault but on some loops like shack even this wont make you hit with killer like wraith or bubba.
Thank god devs probably forget to make invincibility to work agains m2 attacks so many killesr can hit through that effect, if they didnt this would be strongest effect from event but i would say portals beat it on average due to how brain dead they are and easy to use and abuse like if survivors are decent they can make you go into 1 gen left with few hooks because they made you loose many chases with cakes and portals.
-
Deffinitely invisibility with portals like i know against some killers the invincibility is stronger but this is best power on average in my opinion and only spirit mains can get around it well.
Invisibility is so easy to use and if survivor has few brain cells left he can get away from chase super easy, easy to stuck these cakes and abuse them for it.
Portals are more rng but sometimes they are spawned super close and chases are super long thanks to this especialy on killers that cant catch up fast with power.
True bs happens when portals are enchanted with invisibility from table being stacked by 4 cakes, then its free escape not only portals work differently making survivors go to random portal and killer too so you have small chance to get to ssame portal as survivor before you but they give you for every teleport cakes invisibility for free which is again (even when you follow survivor to the same exit portal) free escape not to mention it refills items charges.
The others arent so busted and hard to go against the invincibility is bad if your killer can injure with m2 power or you can use poison to slow them down and then hit them normaly what bothers me from this are unbreakable pallets that survivors can vault and rebuild or pick up.
The sprint cake isnt that busted and table effect here is good for rushers but still manegeable unless you play weaker killer whos main damage is through m1 hits then its still super hard but I believe there arent much masochist in this even playing pig or ghostface.

I think scamper should be added in some more healthy form or his "scamper" after going through vault with dash should have bit more of a control then now.
Overall he isnt that bad pretty mid killer now I would say and isnt that hard in my opinion but fact is the achivement is left unchenged but getting hits with scamper nowdays are almost impossible due to how easy it is to evade it, putting scamper back wouldnt make him op he has not same dash speed and control as before just 2 seconds faster cooldown plus his addons are weaker like rat poison.

Honestly, the part of "only Horror deserves to be in DBD" died when Nicolas Cage was added. At this point basically everything can end up in DBD.
Does not mean that I want that, but people saying that things are not "horror" enough just has no basis anymore.
I wouldnt say people see it not being a horror when survivor was added like we had feng skins that are more controversial in this game then nick cage, with survivor its more open I would say as option but what more people look at is killer like imagine if trickster threw squeaking chickens instead of knifes that would be end for me.
I think people (some) stop seeing it as horror when anime things got added even the fact that in anime theres lot more horror sometimes or horendus things then in some horror movies but opinions are different o this.

Decisive and Dead Hard have been nerfed. Decisive is crap against most killers.
How is Deliverance an anti-tunnel perk? It's pretty much a please-tunnel-me perk.
How is Plot Twist anti-tunnel?
You forgot Babysitter though. But it was nerfed by diminishing returns.
If its crap why its meta still?
Same argument as claiming pop or pain res got nerfed or corrupted and are crap or dead lock, but they are still meta and among best perks arent they.
DH is harder to use bust more stronger in effect, DS still destroyes any killer that has no ability to catch up fast and gives you chance, now thers shoulder which can make swf control the hooks.

I thought getting deranked isnt possible anymore they took it away long time ago.
So this must be another fairytale.
-
I dont think he needs much nerfs like only thing I would change is omnipresent:
- at the start he has like power in 4 or what seconds but his should take longer probably even whole cooldown.
- omnipresent is good but I dont think he should be able to be in it for infinite time more like 25-30 seconds max and then it would kick him out from it or make him exit on nearest window/pallet.
- This is more about cooldown I think now it takes 12 seconds but it shoul be more like 14-15 seconds.
jasons spears are ok they are rng too and his exit speed isnt that of a problem.

Yeah lets just make every killer Kaneki, Blight, and Jason.
That will make the game more fun for sure.
These two are far from jason he is a-tier but not that high as these two.
