There're only 5 killers who are playing this event: Ghoul, Jason, Legion, Bubba, Plague. Everyone else is miracle

I found dracula isnt bad with many tools to get through all bs survviors throw at you but only downside on him is not being able to use poison in wolf form which is sus while legion can use it in frenzy mode, vecna is great his abilities kinda deal with every power survivors get through cakes and with poison on top he can deal with this bs, Henry or the first can deal with them if you hit your shots and with poison which isnt so great on him due to his playstyle but still can make him even nastier then in normal mode and I had sucess with him, some say nurse I havent tried her but I gues she is like henry she ignores normal loops even more then him and doesnt need to activate hes power like henry has to start the clocks basicaly nurse doesnt gives a duck on anything.

Some claim mayers is good well I havent had much sucess with him especialy with invinciable modifier where when pallets are rebuilded and some droped when table mode is on he cant deal with them fast enough so survivors will rush you before you break all pallets. Blight with invinciable modifier is very bad like almost infinite pallets will cook him especialy when survivors can loop and do tables. Wesker isnt for me that great due to more pallets being on map but atlest he can injure with dash through invinciable power oe vault pallets that cannot be broken.

There are few killer that might do good but I would say they are more nerfed by some modifirs then these you named plus these 4 I named dracula, vecna, the first, nurse. Like huntress can deal with invincibility or springtrap but they will bet cooked with other things like global heal, sprint from cakes, invisibility they lack mobility or arent so agile with their mobility like dracula, vecna, ghoul, jason. Still they will work or slinger isnt worst if you hit most of your shots but with poison it shouldnt be hard.

The invincibility and invisibility are overrated. You're saying it's weak survivors but maybe it's weak killers that can't deal with it. The invincibility I can M2 them through. Chances are, if that ability is in play, they're lurking around your chases to block the hook, so just look first and get a free hit. The invisibility makes a loud tinkly sound in addition to footsteps and breathing. You can hit them through it or wait it out.

I guess you play killers like ghoul

I would never, ever play Ghoul. I will never even buy that screeching monstrosity. I posted the killers I'm using in this very thread.

It realy isnt unles your killer has reliable m2 power which can hit survivor and damage him through invincibility you are done especialy when they use it like old dh right infront of pallet or window they wouldnt made normaly.

Invisibility is totaly busted unless you crack your sounds so you hear footsteps with same intensity as screams of survivors when killer hooks them, then you can track them reliably but sounds are super buged and dependent on map and survivor like some survivors have barely any sounds of foosteps. If they go invisiable some distance before you are close for your attacks or abuse portals and use tables you are cooked and they will make you loose some much of your time plus its most annoying thing in the event.

Invisibility sounds its load so you loose their footsteps from consiming cake plus chase music will trigger mostly when they went invisiable right before you could even triger it which screws up sounds even more, even killer instinct wont help you when they are invisiable I had even one girl not being revealed by legions killer instinct when she lost her invisibility only heard heart beat but no vizual indication on her position so many bugs are connected with invisibility.

Only few killers are here viable and even some of them can get cooked by some modifiers like mayers by invinciable one with pallets if they spam table effect. Good survivors shouldnt loose here with how many good powers they have there plus even keeping strong effects like endurence and elusive for 20 seconds after their cakes are lost on 1 gen or gates and even then if they have cake in their hands they will keep it but killer looses poison he has charged which is very stupid.

M1 based killers are done here only like legion and palgue are viable due to their synergy with poison, they make survivors broken or deep wounded which cancels full heal from table global heal and makes everyone with poison one shot so they can win chases well plus like palgue has range attack which bypasses invincibility and legion can vault pallets that cant be broken.

Swf with coordination are gods here due top their ability to control tables and give themselfs global heals plus busted effects on command just like with old adren but this is another power level bs. All buusts from tables are op global heal with either faster actions which makes rushing super easy, unbreakable pallets that can be vaulted by survviors creating infinites and survivors can repair all broken pallets or reset drop ones literary opiness like scouts 2v8 power is joke compare to that and last most horendus to paly against the portals that give survivors free escape because they give them invisibility like all busted crap.

Killers poison isnt bad but compare to all these things survivors get and have their best effects in endgame when killer has for 20 seconds lightborn and oblivious which arent same things in terms of power, these give survivors huge advantage in pulling saves they wouldnt normaly be able too in normal mode or any other modifier we had.

I've barely even been using the poison. I just play normal and use thair tricks against them. And yeah, I'm playing killers that can keep up. 1v4 is also harder for some killers. This mode is just harder for different ones.

In 1v4 survivor is way more less powerfull you dont have dash on command, global adren, dead hard invincibility for 3 seconds and many other busted powers with all perks and addons you equiped on top.

Playing without poison then its weak opponents because good ones just eating invisiable cakes or others can totaly cook you there isnt much you can do without poison only things you can punish is invincibility with ability that damages through it or invisibility if you crack your headphones on very high so screams make you deaf but other then that there isnt much to punish in counter especialy if survivors use cakes and tables right they can stall killer for 4 gens and thats where he looses poison and has worse effects from tables and is mostly cooked.

Believing you play without poison and do good well you can but I guess you play killers like ghoul and against survivors that arent so sharp because good looper with any cake power can get away or get second chance super easy almost guarantee without killer using poison.

M1 killers dont get so cooked in 1v4 where one full table can totaly redo their work and heal everyone plus many other things.

  • Or billys doesnt ignore it too I think or mayers strike doest hit through it too. Its just nerfing some killers still with poison you can slow them and then wait it out.

How are your results though? Because, like @FerrousFacade, I haven't lost much. I'm doing better in the mode than I do in regular. Once you learn how to play around the survivor toys, it's not that bad, and them trying to use them to swarm and body block is keeping gens from getting done and causing them to be out of position and injured when it doesn't work. It's a frustrating mode, no doubt, but you can do very well with the right killers.

Only with certain killers that work super well with poison, if they dont like wraith or pig survivors with good buffers can still overwhelm you especialy with invincibility and unbreakable pallets with global adrenalin from tables.

Even one survivor can stack 4 cakes on 1 table and keep the effects going which totaly destroyes some killers.

I disagree, the event isn't nearly as survivor sided as its being made out to be. I haven't lost as killer in the event queue at all, 24 matches. Its mildly survivor sided at best, killers should have gotten more to interact with but that doesn't mean its very survivor sided. Speed boost, invis, or invuln survivors only get one of these. Pallets, teleports (which the killer can use as well), or action speed once again its one of these not all three.

Killers get free hit/down poison and have to do absolutely nothing to gain access to it, it recharges on a timer. I have been frustrated playing against some of the things survivors have gotten but the poison is significantly more frustrating to play against to me. Unless we are talking about a sweaty four man the killer has the advantage but that isn't any different to outside the event.

If you play few killers that have good synergy with poison and have good builds then you can win a lot even against invisiable and invinciable modifiers.

I play only killers like legion, ghoul, bubba, billy, plague, jason, dracula, henry (the first) even the normal vecna (not the netflix one). These killers have great synergy with poison or their powers can work with it very well like vecnas and dracula abilities.

This doesnt change fact survivors have still more tools and more things are in their favor like even one duo or swf can on inviciable modifier spawn table boost and make some loops god loops like shack or cow tree were in 2016 or ironworks main. The main part for survivor is to use your boost to rush gens to 1 gen left where killers loose poison and have very bad effects from table compare to your role like haste 3% or 20 seconds of oblivious or lightborn compare to survivors 3% haste, elusive and endurance which are way more game changing especialy in endgame plus survivors dont loose cakes they have in their hands when tables are locked and killers cant have poison which gives them another huge advantage.

Every modifier is good for survivor like the worst the speed from cake plus bonus speed to actions from table is still good for rushing gens and healing fast, the invisiable is very time consuming for the killer especialy when table buff is spawned due to portals becoming super survivor sided and good evaders can be almost uncatcheable, last invincialbe buffer is great for good loopers that with 3 seconds of invinciability can become gods in looping plus table buffs which makes pallets super safe and survivors can rebuild them faster then in 2v8 this effect also effects killers the most I would say like some with ranged attacks can (thanks to devs flaw I bet which wasnt meant to be) bypass 3 seconds of endurance or even some powers like weskers dash but still many ranged killers are locked by unbreakable pallets.

Poison is good but survivors have way more tools and if they use them well they can get gens done fast and fool around with the killer even when its like pig against invincibility buffer. Killers only chance is to pick good killer like bubba who is working with poison very well and get as many hooks and downs as they can before survivors get to 1 gen left and killer looses poison and has worse effects from tables.

  • @Knightofzer0 said:

    all ranged projectiles ignore it

Yes and some dashes like weskers ignore it aswell, this devs deffinitely unintencial flaw made this booster more bareable for many killers because unbreakable pallets and ability to rebuild and build pallets is super busted with 3 seconds of invincibility from cake.

Lol, okay then I just come at you from the angel you want to go and cut you off. Shocker but it's really not that difficult to beat.

Still trapper is bum in chase like he has no power on loop where he hasnt set trap and is just 4,6 m/s m1 killer which is one of worst things in entire game for killer and all that makes difference is skill and type of loop. Even with trap in hand survivor can leave and trapper even with some speed buff cant catch up that fast and his traps has to be very direct one simple missplacement and survivor can run around it, its huge rng compare to hag.

Trapper has terrible chase tbh and even worse power just look at oni who is m1 killer with same speed too but he gains power from hits and survivors being injured and gets timed god mode where he has many best things killer can have, breaking power, speed, controled mobility which can be used not only to get around map but to catch up to the target, isntadown. He is same untill he gets power the trappers weakness is in his power that is huge time waste, offers literary almost nothing its like huge gamble just like taking your whole month salary to casino and throwing in on table to gamble it all at once, even when his power works survivors have few ways how to get from it in seconds or around it and trapper gains nothing or very little (survivor can get from trap in few seconds on first try and gets no penatly, injured survivor gets caught across the map and has no penalty only trapper gets his trap dissarmed and gets bigger punishment because he wasnt around, survivors can save each other in seconds, survivors can hold his traps and others can run on them without traggering them and then leave then dissarm to block the killer).

Like look at pig, very terrible killer with horrible stealth and deffinitely worst dash attack in entire game for years but she has traps that are one of best slowdowns and thats why she isnt that bad (still bad but atlest her power does something consistently and it doesnt suck) which is something trapper doesnt have thats why he is huge adept for rework and I hope they make him better because its shame that poster boy of the game is that bad.

After 10 years he is still able to get caught in to his own traps.

So… not trying to be rude here but you do understand that there's offerings that let you pick where basement spawns right? Also again it's not exactly hard to win as basement trapper. I think he should get some buffs don't get me wrong but I'm not biased enough to lie and say it's hard to win as trapper.

Oferring is there but map is big ? in question and not all have shack and then its for survivors to spot from which direction (side of the map) trapper came from where it will be most likely trapped, then huge bingo is never run trapper where basement is and if you run around it then leave it no matter it takes because its huge thing that will go into his advantage way more then to survivors.

Trapper is bad, the most buffed killer if you would find out how many buffs QoL and addons into basekit he got and features he still sucks and only rework will save him same as merchant which needs rework badly too or very huge buffs but thing is trappers kit works differently as other trap killers and is naturaly bad in terms of time waste like hag or larry has to set some form of trap too but they are way more less punnishing then trappers and work more, his only works with like 3 addons two iri and honing stone.

  • @esarraf said:

Actually yeah, there are problematic aspects around trapper. I love playing him but I'm not going to pretend it's hard to win games as him if you play basement trapper. He's extremely easy to win as if you know what you are doing.

Thats like one particular thing he doesnt suck at but then you need specific basement not all places where it spawns offer same possibilities like shack. Then trapper sucks and everything else he basicaly is one of few characters that start the game automaticaly loosing and has to fight that huge disadvantage so winning with trapper without basement is huge win.

  • He runs build where any killer (with base speed of 4,6) can be good if he atleast tunnels out one guy before endgame hits and then its combination of haste and endgame perks with noed, just add pig, legion all can be very good even better than trapper with that build plus willie is top tier player like in top 5% of all players I would argue and these guys can pull stuf you wouldnt unless you would sit ifront yout screen playing DBD 24/7.

I think the fix is suggest devs to nerf pig because she is op.

  • Any ghoul skin that shuts his screaming in lobby is great money grab.

I mean it doesn't help that the community has equated intended game mechanics with toxicity.

A significant number of players consider tunneling, slugging, and flashlight blinds to be toxic.

Yeah its maybe not nice but theres many other simular things in other games that arent nice but nowhere else the community is so salty and entitled about it as this one.

Like now I tunneld one guy because the whole team spamed invisiable cakes in event and he wasnt the one who refilled them that much plus was in bad corner of the map where pallets were broken mostly so he was only one I could chase more then few seconds and the finall verdict was that Im very nice person (sarcasm).

  • I mean some parts are literary worse then dark web like this guy

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6XlAuCaFWQ

who refuse to play it just to get smoked by dbd twitter part and they proved he is right, as they do always.

You can find some positivity still here but its rare.

You know you can poison, hit two times for the power and only then the first damage hit removes the poison?

If so he is little better than I though but i still think portals and invisibility can break him compleatly because of how effective it is and how spameable it is.

Still not bad choice I would say better then blight in this mode.

  • @Zakon05 said:

The only killer who I've found is in any way more enjoyable in the event mode is Vecna.

That's… D&D Vecna, I mean. The poison synergizes pretty well with Mage Hand.

Henry is painful in the event mode.

Many I found good here like bubba, billy, legion, jason, ghoul and some more are viable the main thing is time wasting or gaining build and killer which powers works well with poison.

Henry has to hit multiple shots before his power activates and he can do actualy something which in here where survivors can become invisiable or get sprint or be invincible is bad.

Key thing is the invincibility for 3 seconds has counter in many forms like many range attacks or some powers like weskers bounds bypass it and injure survivor still or effect them like plague who is another great killer who works well with poison.

Still some effects when survivors arent potatoe tier are busted way more then some of these killers I named.

  • @tyantlmumagjiaonuha said:

Since hanging a survivor on a hook (strictly speaking, the act of being rescued) carries significant disadvantages for the Killer, slagging has become a common strategy during matches, even without the need for a specialized build.

I think the most significant recent milestones have been the implementation of “Shoulder the Burden” and the ability to visualize Perks among Survivors. These changes force players to spread out the number of hooks they use, so simply incorporating OtR, DS, or “Babysitter” into that strategy buys you a significant amount of time. I’ve been playing this game for many years, and I feel that the current meta is the one where slugging is most effective.

Well swf with few shoulders can make the game turn around in one move for the killer and he doesnt need to be even hard tunneler and they theres no one death on 1 gen left or when all are done and these people run ds,dh which aid them even more.

There are perks against slugging but they are mostly unused by majority of survivors like if I have problem with slugging i will run atleast one perk for it so Im no hindered by it.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4094918#Comment_4094918

I really hate when people try to push this, because there is a lot of perks that make killer stronger on hook too, if that's not enough then slugging is too powerful period IMO, not the other way around, as someone who runs Furitive Chase/Friends til the end/turnback the clock atm, I feel giving benefits to hooking a survivor would go a long way.

We need 2v8 anti slug tested in 1v4, that inflicts a CD or exhausted to stop and I will make sure I state this EXTREME cases of slugging.

I do not like that it keeps going under the radar time and time again, because it really affects the enjoyment of the more casual playerbase and it scares so many players away… I know firsthand trying to introduce new friends and having to explain it's just how things are.

The anti-tunnel/slug was far from what we needed but the fresh hook incentives/hiding the unhooked survs status and then just take 2v8's anti slug to test instead would have been more than fine. The proposed one we got was so bad and overtuned.

If you mean pick yourself up when you are 90 seconds on the ground or 80 while getting exhausted in process I dont think its bad idea but that agenda that pushed devs into ptb two time it was overtuned crap and no wonder why isnt some antislug in the game basekit.

Another point is reward killer for hooking and more for spreading hooks which is another factor that would greatly help but devs kinda missed this two times in the row same with antislug but taking in account their balancing abilities which clearly backs me up in this new ridiculous event Im not surprised it ended like this.

this is for someone who has no clue about this event and what I mean by these ideas from devs

Yeah alf and hens are hosting slugfest, but killers like epidemy and lillith do a lot of slugging anyway and theyve became increasingly popular aswell

Beccause people like epidemy play killers that are build well with slugging as option and now currently theres less punishment to go through (very strong perks some meant in good way but still abuseable like ds) then hooking multiple survivors and now eve tunneling has some counter with shoulder so slugging usualy has few huge advantages:

    • Less chance to get perks that work against you (many games theres like one or two antislug perks compare to antihook perks which gives slugging significant advantage)
    • More time consuming for survivors to deal with (it takes less time from killer he just downs-moves on next target and repeats until everyone is downed)
    • Many killers kits are designed or work very well with this strategy but hooking is same for everyone

These things make slugging way more viable and thats why its used no big deal to think about it its logical reasoning here, one thing is harder and less interactive while other tops it for some so I dont wonder why they do it.

edit: No saves obviously no pallet or flash making item will take you your slugg which is minor yet another reason why slugging is good.

Blood hunt/blood moon its all the same thing mate. Your splitting hairs to try and win an unwinable arguement. You will never win the argument trying to deny that this event is anything but survivor sided as the forums blew up saying it, All top 10k hour streams are saying it. If you actually played killer once in a while you would understand but from all your comments its very clear that you don't.

Funny how some people think they will secceed in dennying that this event is super survivor sided like all the effects are more powerfull for survivors and only thing killer has is poison but that only works on some killers like m1 killers which cant injure a lot like legion wont get much from it when survivors have cakes that give them invincibility, sprintburst, invinsibility and then can rubuild pallets and make infinites, get global adrenalin etc.

Poison is good on oshot killers like bubba or ones that can injure very fast but still not so much compare to survivor buffs.

  • @tjt85 said:

I don't like throwing the poisons unless I'm at point blank range but I've had some success staking out a territory and poisoning the heck out of everything. I was able to get some pretty quick downs poisoning everything whilst defending a 3 gen with Legion.

Playing a Killer that can injure quickly, vault the unbreakable pallets and catch up with the mini sprint bursts helps counter a lot too.

You can hold it like snowballs and see your trajectory of the poison so this can help with aim.

Yeah legion, ghou are great they injure fast, then one tap with poison and even global heal wont help if chased survivor is in deepwound, can both deal with unbreakable pallets and ghoul can catch up with leaps especialy slowed survivors from poison which is great.

Billy, bubba, mayers everyone with very reliable one shot is great too I palyed billy yesterday and had 8 games ending 4k with ruin,no way out,COB and bamboozle with no addons. Then I tried blight and they get the best effects the pallet rebuild with invincibility and it was almost 1k but they were not so careful so 2k but it was pain bigger then with bubba. Today I will try mayers and I believe that with poison it will work maybe better then bubba also I kinda think I will be able to stalk invisible survivors Idk but I feel it will be possible.

Oh, I know that Otz also did a video. And it will probably be posted here, because it is SO IMPORTANT to have another Thread about the same topic.

The reality is that none of the Content Creators said anything about the unbalanced Anniversary Events before, because they were killer-sided. And the Forums also did not really care. For some reason "You dont have to play the event" and "They are not supposed to be balanced" is only a thing when the "right" side gets the good stuff.

At this point I am wondering if this keeps up until the last day of the event.

In terms of unbalanced we didnt have such unbalanced event in past, none was so one sided as this one.

Killers poison isnt bad but its just one effect compare to what survivor gets and it lasts to 2 gens left then you will loose it on 1 gen left or in endgame while survivors still keep cakes they had took before it and can get effects like endurence. Poison mostly works with instadown killers because m1 hits are totaly nullyfied by some effects survivors get like global heal.

Even top tier killers can get overwhelmed by survivors strongest effect with invincibility plus unbreakable pallets that can be vaulted and survivors can rebuild any pallet back, this effect has no equel basicaly guarantee old dh with no drawbacks (cooldown, one less perk in slot, exhaustion addons and perks working on it) and global ablity that gives survivors ability to create basicaly infinites.

There was no event like this in past even when they were shifted more to killer like halloween one two years ago etc.

Most survivored one was before this crap the bloodmoon with first blood gens where single gen was done in 40 seconds and kiler couldnt regress it or block it, bloodpumps spawned super close to blood gens and hooks spawns were totaly messed by blood pumps spawn some were even shifted sideways so you couldnt even hook on them like one in top floor on rpd.

For anyone else who strugles as killer and you dont want to get crap on just because you picked weaker killer the solution is this, grab strong killer who has good power in this mode which is great in general and combines well with poison like billy, ghoul and play them and you will get results becaues your character isnt some weak pig who cant take it.

For the strongest effect the invincibility from cakes I heard range attacks bypass them its certainly bug but if it works atleast you have some solution to this crap untill they fix it.

Mandy is right though, people, myself included have been riling each other up.

Like people are clearly enjoying the game, the numbers of players is still high lol, I just think people are more vocal of their issues coz there is more playing rn.

I get legit issues, but… patience for those who are coming at BHVR, they do listen but things take time to change believe it or not. We all love the game here/enjoy it, so just take a break or play normal queue while you wait or wait until next years iteration lol…

No reason to sit there kicking and screaming, I think the message has been seen at this point and they'll address it when they are ready lol

Better things to be stressing over and putting energy into lol

Tbh I bet more are playing for the oportunity of getting more bp to level up their characters then enjoy it like many other events its nothing crazy to think about.

Well this event can be decribed in one sentence "more pain, more gain" the more you play the more bp you get but the bigger torture it is.

  • I will play dirty in this event where everything is in majority of situations survivor sided, if I get chance to tunnel, slug I will and I wont have problem with it its my choice after all.

With what survivors all get there I wont have mercy when its just in majority of my matches genrush team that spams these cake effects over and over and even weakest ones are very strong or take lot of time from killer like invisibility.

Why should I put in worse position myself when the opponent is already in advantage from the start in this event? This event isnt something so special to other ones only its backed by date (10th anniversary) but that doesnt makes is so special only thing that stands up there with the date is how ridicilus and one sided it is but in the name of farming I will play it how I described for more points so let the cakes roll.

The insta heal and the unbreakable pallets are the two things that feel the most bad to go against, so I agree, as long as the pallets go too, it can be really badly abused on maps like Midwich and legit trap the killers, at the very least they should killswitch Creamypasta or make it so that it only effects one pallet within a certain radius. I actually don't mind the other two dishes overall, I actually think the haste one is mostly balanced given the killer slowdown ability, and I've been able to adapt to the invisibility since they make a loud noise and it's not too long of an effect, so if you stay in chase and use your ears you can probably still get the down. Also maybe they can keep the insta heal but it only does it when you eat a morsel in the dinner event after a table is set up, I think that would balance it overall.

Not only the pallets become unbreakable but survivors can vault them back and fort plus it makes them real after timer ends so its just pallet rebuild simulator which restocks pallets and makes some good pallets like shack infinites that only few killers can play, makes survivors invinciable for like 2-3 seconds with cake so kinda old dh that has no cooldown and doesnt take any space from perks loadout. deffinitely strongest effect for survivors.

Speed is annoying but with dash killers that can catch up like billy you can get them (especialy with instadown which makes their global heal go bye bye) or ghoul.

The most annoying is the invisibility but many survivors are stupid and predictiable always running to table for another invisible cake.

Poison for killer is only good on killers that can double tap or instadown like bubba, billy, kinda knight, ghoul but for m1 killers that dont have strong powers the effects from survivors cakes can totaly nullify the effects of the poison.

Terribly done event not to mention killers poison isnt that weak depending on killer and its lost on 1-0 gens while survivors still have very strong effects like endurance and killer has crap like flashlight immunity.

  • @Rokku_Rorru said:

I think people are learning the poison is stronger than they thought lol

It's just the usual people getting really upset and coming on here to vent that they dont understand the mode.

Only good on intadown killers like bubba, billy, mayers or top mobility ones that can catch up like ghoul, blight.

For m1 its not that great especialy when survivors can globaly heal one health state.

All I'm gonna say is, people aren't stopping playing rn so I'm getting conflicting messages from all these threads LOL I'm starting to see more killers catch onto the poison and survivors never once not been in need on my servers.

More bloodpoints its only reason many play even if they dislike the event.

As survivor this event gives you more then old dh and as killer only few can compete there due to how easy it is for survivor to just grab food and use it.

For me its survivor time or just jason, krasue, ghoul, blight, mayers, billy and killers like these which stand a chance in this mode.

I played weaker killers there but I got totaly destroyed and even bullyed because of busted effects like pallets that cant be broken but survd can vault them or almost infinite invisibility etc. on top their very strong effects from meta perks like ds,dh,unbreakable, etc.

This event is pure survivor sided and only survivors can compete there with top killers.

As some claimed here that the objective with cakes will take more time from survs no it doesnt take more time because all you have to do is just put one cake on table and then go restock it and use it on and on.

Worst event ever just hope 2v8,chaos shuffle or lights out are at doorstep after this crap.

if you're caught in the open against this killer you're just dead.

Thats like best thing he can do that he will get you very fast if you get caught in open or on low loop where he can throw over but then he has no mobility, he sucks in chase on taller loops because he looses solid distance when he uses power and must have los on you which is very limited on these loops. Maybe he can still hold hooks but its in my opinion worse then tricker before who had to hit more knifes but had main event every time the basicaly hit 8 of them so he was better at it then this one.

Less knifes so he needs to reload more and is 4,4 speed which terrible for many loops where old trickster would either put you down with knifes (took longer but with his speed on some it was faster then this one) or he could use m1 more.

There are way more killers that destroy you when they get you in open like bubba, billy, mayers can just put you down in one shot or huntress, wesker, blight, draculy can get you very fast too so nothing that special tbh not to mention many surviviors dont run against killers in open even not against nurse.

All good, I am not trying to min‑max BP, just having fun playing killer even if I get stomped. Event’s busted but the points still add up in my favor and because killers don’t want to play the event my queue times are instant vs the wait times in regular 1v4.

As you say only benefit to be killer there are queue times and bp because of cakes but fun I wouldnt say that because survivors can run to tables all the time and have effects all the time and some are ultra busted.

Presonaly it was more fun to deal with old dh then some effects in this event like pallets that cant be broken but survivors can still vault them Idk what sick guy came up with it but its horrible.

He has always been, fundamentally, a complex hillbilly.

Among characters who use projectiles, this one is the easiest to dodge; however, because the projectiles are small, they hold significant potential.

Content creators don't know the proper way to use it?and consequently don't know how to handle it?so they're just shoving it into the 4.4 category.

Trickser still has some bugs when even his small hitboxes colide with objects like they were huntress hatchest.

It happens sometimes so he isnt that great after all just all he can is cut down survivor fast who isnt in safe location and then sucks in everything else.

    @Angy_Quentin said:

I mean i do agree with the take on map design for example, but killers are prone to be stronger/weaker at certain things. Trapper will never be as good in chase as billy and thats okay.

Trappe will never be good in anything except camping trapped basement in shack with addons for it, unless they finally make his rework real and not just myth in roadmap.

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

I am getting rolled as killer in this event a lot but I am still getting a lot of BP so it’s whatever lol.

If your goal is to make as much bp as you can get from this trash event and even have some few more hooks or even kills then pick some top tier killers that can deal with lot of these busted effects.

If not its your call but you will get destroyed as sadako or other weaker killer not to mention swf in this mode are power role like released nurse was.

  • Tbh I'll just wait few more minutes to play bubba or some other weaker, mid tier killer then needing to run all top tiers like ghoul, blight to stand a chance in this mode where weaker killers get craped on by just existing in it.

If theres swf atlest 3man its guarantee gg especialy if they get good food type with better effects.

  • More like problem with old killers, new perks are being added and new maps like tricksters delusion (which nerfs lot of 4,4 m/s killers into ground) and old ones cant keep up.

Huntress is very predictiable to that degree that all survivors with 300 hours on survivor played against her deffinitely and best players know her cooldowns so well that they can loop her for 3 gens with one hand.

She got some buffs but maps even when are smaller have lot of clutter which is negative for huntress because it kills her range potencial and makes her more chasetress which is her being more of zoning killer that has not so well made power for it unlike tslinger or springtrap. Her last drop which kills her and tricksters powwers is being 4,4 m/s when they have no ammo if she looses hatchets she is done and must reload which takes lot of time and momentum from her (and trickster) so thats her drawbags and if you reload a lot you are loosing lot of time too.

Old killers are slowly kept in meta so they wouldnt be unplayable but times had moved and huntress very little to it like what were her last buffs?

    • Buff: increased the default Carrying capacity of Hatchets from 5 to 7.
    • Buff: reduced the Wind-up time from 1 second to 0.9 seconds, speeding the interaction up by 10 %

in 7.6.0 she got some buffs but in comparison its like bubbas lates ones its just buff to make the killer not fall off and keep him around where he was but nothing what makes him much better. Times changed and huntress is very old compare to new antiloop powers, she can be good with incrediable aim (like half of her mains still run crosshair so they would hit precisely).

None of those things were powercrept. Aura perks are stronger than they've ever been. Her reload is faster and she gets basekit infantry belt. Maps have only been made smaller and weaker. Indoor maps were only made smaller and weaker. How is any of that powercreep?

Compare to new killers she is becoming outdated.

Apparently 5 months, the ACTUAL time they took to nerf mft, (quick in bhvr time) is now equivalent to "like a year." Please stop intentionally spreading misinformation or double check your facts before trying to make an "us vs them" against C tier killers and below.

    So what I got wrong?

The time window which is still not small or the fact it destroyed killers with no effective antiloop especialy the weaker ones c-tier (I would argue it effected more then c-tier in killer numbers basicaly anyone who has no solid antiloop and speed difference makes him way worse).

No, that's just revisionist history. Killers complained because they want to play whatever torturous build or killer combo they want, knowing full well their b…

Or like this yours statement where you claimed killers are the ones that get things nerfed basicaly top of the iceberg in "us vs them" topic where you various nerfs claimed to be killers agency only your luck here is that post got deleted but even guy who cant bear I called him sherlock and calls me watson every time now had to agree with me on this.

So who spreads missinformation more and hate posts?

Jason is not countered by bodyblocking. If you try to run behind a survivor to take protection hits, Jason can impale you with his spear and smash you into the survivor you're trying to protect, injuring them similar to how Wesker does. If a survivor is standing in a choke trying to block you, you can enter Omnipresent Evil, which will cause Jason to hit the survivor in your path and then allow you to move past them in the same motion while also resetting his movespeed buff.

You can but you musnt be lined obviously its more liked jump bodyblocking where someone runs there to take hit and runs off.

If he misses it works but me must miss and you musnt be lined like against wesker its the same thing so rounded loops kinda are good for this.

  • @BarzarImmar said:

Whether it's survivor perks or the killer, It's them demanding for nerfs. We have yet to understand and learn the counterplays. After a month, a lot have changed then.

I wish more people would understand this sentiment.

Some things are busted like ghoul and krasue on release or made for this (which lasted like year making all m1 killers nerfed into ground) but some need time like jason isnt so strong as people say and devs shouldnt be like old teams that managed make through pig super known meme (nerf pig), new term "merchanted" with SM hardcore nerf which was more like "if we cant delete you, we will make you worth ***** so you cant do anything".

  • Jason highly is countered by bodyblocking teammates he has only timed speed boost and his spear is one time use and then he must go out of chase to reload or he must use omnipresent but that can be used to gain huge distance or compleatly dissapear from him.

If he continues to chase he is just 4,4 m/s m1 killer which he cant afford to do so, so teaming against him like against krasue works its bit weaker then against her but it has its advantages.

The problem is how close he gets to spawn to you. He can spawn extremely close to people on gens. Like look at this screenshot, for example.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/6HQ7DJMRTVFA/20260619175332-1.jpg

I don't care how good of a looper you are. If Jason teleports to that pallet next to me and I'm injured, I'm dead. He just gets to start the chase in way too favorable of a position. If I were injured here, this is the kind of situation where I'd need to play passively.

No your not unless he has addon thats klinda busted the exhaustion one or you have sprint on cooldown but thinking you done when running sprint is kinda nuts that perk gives you huge chance.

Honestly we're just going to have to agree to disagree there. I believe his mobility, aura reading and info as well as ranged attack that has a low recharge make him at least low A. Not to mention non of this can be denied.

His add-on nerfs were impactful, but i dont think enough to take him out of A tier.

    I guess so.

His mobility is good onlky for big maps on small ones like dad dawng saloon its not worth using and his doors sometimes on some mains has terrible spawn like dead saloon where the door is under gen so survivors hear you come before they can even see you. Also its super easy to prerun if you have ears and he exits closest doors so not that great mobility for traveling across the map yes but overall not so goated as some claim.

His stealth is only good if he exits some doors bit further from gen he is coming to but still he has very loud footsteps and sound cue on axe so this breaks his stealth on close distance.

His axe is probably his best quality due to how good it can be at some loops that arent very long because its harder to use on longer distance then huntress is falls more so killer must aim higher but he has great orbital potencial its very hard but its there so high b-tier if you are good with axe like dude that palyed in this video

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=av2nh8E6yqs

here we could see that even best uknowns are just mostly harmless compare to good springtrap and some nasty shots he can pull if he is good.

    Well done killer overall.

Still I remember when he droped the salt how his axe is op and from few people spaming posts here he is new ghoul (one even made sorry post for it latter).

  • @Raptorrotas said:

Oh we went from broken to "boring" already.

Anyways, which killer isnt? That stupid "boring" argument gets brought up for every killer.

I mean any killer is boring to someone, and every killer is boring if he is destroying you its been like this since 2016 their complains never changed I just find it funny theres bigger outbreak on jason then against other top tier killer that got released before him like first, krasue, houndmaster.

He is few days out and devs mostly balance the killer in 2 moths after his release like first changes are usualy 2 weeks after realease so by the start of the new month there will be some changes for 100% (addons deffinitely).

So again the end of the world because new killer got into game, he is no krasue, ghoul, blight level and they screem even more funny.

  • @Abyast1 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4090444#Comment_4090444

Sure, springtrap is helf low a tier. low a tier is still a top tier killer. Anything above B tier should be addressed as top tier. Just because springtrap isnt ghoul levels of broken doesnt make him not strong. Blight is classed as A tier aswell.

He was low a-tier now he is b-tier, the nerfs to his addons were so impactfull that they put him where he was without them.

I do not follow at all.

Hex perks are supposed to be very strong, with the trade-off being that they can be permanently removed from the game.

A lot of hex perks suck. STBFL is a lot weaker than it once was, and BS is very mediocre. The answer is to buff those hex perks.

Not all hexes are worth to be hexes, latest ones except like vecnas are bad.

Old desing was glass cannon and people still complain when counter is relatively easy go find the totem and destroy it and he lost one perk for good.

  • @Abyast1 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4090392#Comment_4090392

Agreed, and when a killer is incredibly weak (imo nemesis and trickster fit into this category) they often dont get played enough.

The issue is we've had some incredibly strong killers as of recent (ghoul, vecna (the first one) springtrap, jason, dracula, houndmaster on release) that make it so on release dealing with them non-stop isnt fun. Hopefully after a week or two it should slow down

Springtrap held low a-tier only due to like 2-3 addons and they get nerfed asap and he isnt nowhere top tier more like in the middle.

  • Strange that dog works, every dam time he draws survivor into pallet not to the killer I swear and marking gens takes few tryes before he works sleeping snug chicken nugget.

Its a famous meme confused face.

Simply having a ranged attack invalidates half of the tiles on most maps. And its very easy to reload midchase with no slowdown.

Wraith is slower, with no ranged attack, with worse stealth, and doesn't cause blanket exhaustion to everyone in the same area code from using his power.

Its a famous meme confused face.

Memes thats all in nutshell (shame you arent).

Simply having a ranged attack invalidates half of the tiles on most maps. And its very easy to reload midchase with no slowdown.

No, not realy it makes some worse but he looses lot of distance and has only one shot if he misses he must get lucky or go out of his way to refill his spear which makes him not so great on loops as people say.

His speed well if you get not so smart survvior that runs into loop resource then he doesnt get much distance but against me anyone doublebacked and into open so you waste with jason 10-20 seconds of your haste boost to catch up and then you are 4,4 m/s killer with single range attack thats strong but just one try.

Map rng is a thing, jason is bad on maps that have less places he can spawn on especialy near gens where survivors gather and lot of grass or CORN like coldwind are bad maps for him while great map is midwitch where survvior cant use hold W so easily and is more grounded in these combs where are resources jason can tp too.

Wraith is slower, with no ranged attack, with worse stealth, and doesn't cause blanket exhaustion to everyone in the same area code from using his power.

He is slower yes, yes he has no range attack. No wraith has no busted addons he is been in game for very long and started as worst killer from all and in top 5 worse in history of DBD his 2016 version so its clear that wraith has no broken addons as killer thats been out for few days 3 is it.

    No wonder clever Alice.

Theres way to counter his whole jumpscare and that whole addon mintskull has it in his video if you know he is coming for you.

    with worse stealth

Since when wraith has worse stealth?? This right here makes me believe you havent played wraith or against him for few years because wraith is one of best stealth killers in the entire game both in power and the stealth he offers.

Jason has better mobility on map, antiloop but timed and then he is worse so he isnt so basic as wraith, better detection, mini mori makes some perks like ds less hurt.

Wraith has better stealth, is way easier, has better catch up power for getting back at survivors, is less map dependent and impacted compare to jason. Ofcourse with addons that are good without them wraith is still bit outdated only him having some good addons and being easy still holds him in mid b-tier right now.

  • Buddy do you know doing same thing over and over can make you mad and be boring.

New killer hits and everyone plays him all this since 2017 and it never changed and it wont only krasue lasted till her nerfs.

Devs take like two weeks to do their first changes and then another two or three so wait your merchant "cripple button" wont save you here.

  • So you can totaly counter his tracking and even best addon that exposed just by holding ctrl.

And people call it op so now where 80% or more your opponets will be jasons you can make build against him and it will work majority of your games. Very bad counter indeed.

You can even make him get chase you or your teammate so swf can only show him survivors that are good for them to be chased and totaly leash him like dog.

He cant see slugs due to how his power works only walking or sprinting survviors or working on something but it hides all blood and scratch marks when he uses his power only the ones that were spawned before he entered omnipresent will be visible for him untill the dissapear.

Truly rich counterplay especialy for stealth enjoyers. Where you are all those "distortion" people.

He is out for 3 days and everyone is mad lol.

Dramaturgy doesnt have downsides if you know how to use it (roll for expose then keep it for chase the next use)

Does the event dash have invuln? no? why are YOU comparing it to DH lmao

Dramaturgy has downsides like exposed and if know how to use it then you are rewarded but dramaturgy doesnt doge range projectiles that would hit you or dash powers or doctors shock like old DH did.

Old DH had invinerability so huntress throw axe and you pressed and E and it didnt do anything to you and it was you who compare them in first place here literary you:

"old dead hard dash effects" So… Dramaturgy, what we still have.

"old dead hard dash effects" You used his words good.

So… Dramaturgy, what we still have.

Here, right here caught in act.

Seems like you forget what old DH all did dapping over trappers traps and doging killers powers, using it for distance or dashing over holles in floors of buildings like badham main etc.

Go watch so old vids and embrase yourself with knowledge of what old DH all did and how it looked like, thank you.

Wraith moves at 150% cloaked, Jason at 175% and through second story windows. And I brought up 5 differences between the two and you immediately jump to "you hate it because of addon".

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/DFI80A77372B/image.png

Yeah numbers dont lie but you are kinda wrong here because wraith has free movement and he can uncloak anywhere but jason can exit his omnipresent mode only on windows and pallets or breakable walls so he catches up faster becase jason has to leave specific spot.

So if survivor isnt near pallet or window jason wont ctach up faster, wraith can hit survivor and cloak and get behind him and uncloak and its fater then jason who cant do it right behind survivor as wraith can.

No ranged power, easier to see/hear him approaching, telegraphs his uncloak, slower while cloaked than Jason, doesn't cause exhaustion with an add on every uncloak, can't teleport between floors.

Jason has range power thats very specific and was nerfed since he was in ptb and has same hitbox as slinger which is smallest possible hitbox in entire game and its one time use shot that he must restock. You see wraith in open only in indoors you wont see him unless you have loss and you still have to pay lot of attention its more because he bonks the bell but he is easier to see.

Again slower he is but jason beats wraith in global map wide mobility not survivor catching up mobility in which wraith is slightly behind dracula who only can fly over pallets and windows and has tp to it but its same as wraith.

Do you think draculas catch up power is worse then jasons??? Here you will answer yourself in this.

And last addons which we talked about before so thats like 4 points max.

And please leave your old photos or photos of your family out of this, I dont think its nice doing yourself or your members, thank you.
