I noticed some inconsistency with the prestige 'compensation?' after the update. We was not supposed to get more prestige levels if the character had more blood points invested? The beauty of Mettle of Main was that once you get it - it is unconditional free health state that you would not lose unless you allow yourself to be grabbed. Now this perk abides by conspicuous actions, doesnt work while deep wounded, and makes your aura be revealed whenever you have Endurance. It is a horrible rework making the perk much weaker. I have an open ticket that has been updated twice to say thank you for my patience and it was now moved to another team to look into. None of the survivors that didnt have any prestige before the update and stayed around level 40ish lost all their items, addons and offering (perks were not affected however) In this example, it's the Dwight that was, I think, level 40 before the update and he lost everything. The right thing to do, report the person. So, I tried the orange glyph challenge for the first time today, and does anyone else notice the visual effect is almost exactly like a migraine aura? for us migraine sufferers some will get visual disturbances prior to the onset of migraine pain and losing the periphery of your vision is a common one. Are there any plans for adding support for Linux and the Steam Deck? If so, is there an ETA for it? I currently dual boot, and DbD is just about the only reason that I switch to my Windows partition. I don't think it is that acceptable for players to have killers (unique non substitutable characters) kill-switched without an ETA of them returning available and said ETA being along the lines of 24/48 hours. Some people lost their main like this, others lost the chance to unlock perks that the new gring system requires close to 2mil bp (the current cap) to unlock and they can't even do that. Also, why has there not been a kill switch until they fix this? there are so many people on youtube at the minute making videos on the clown getting Infinite 10% speed. So if any of you don't know why you are seeing so many clowns then this is why? He zooms I thought something was up in a few of my matches. As a new player the hud is unbelievably confusing. There are a number of other fixes I would change, but the biggest one that by far confused me the most was the generator repair bar. It took me so long to figure this out, and I think it could be changed in a way that promotes gen repair and teamwork. I wanted to check this out because this seems off. I entered a custom match to see how the new spine chill works with stealth killers. It appears as though you can get stalked with myers/ghost face without spine chill's going off, which I do not understand since they would need a clear line of sight to stalk you. With the exception of the nurse there is no need for killers to be as fast as they are. EVERY survivor is 4.0 m/s, but you have like three different base speeds for killers? Then they get Bloodlust on top of that? How does that make that fair? Explain to me how a killer can have a 4.4 or 4.6 m/s speed, but survivors just get 4.0? I tried multiple times reading up, but the same happened. Been playing the new update for about an hour and oh boy am I already seeing some problems. The worst part is it has nothing to do with the in game balance or anything For starters the loading times are significantly slower then they used to be. I had all characters p3 50 and most with all perks and they got the same level as my p3 level 1 nurse. I was given no extra prestige levels for having all perks before the update and that’s a lot of grind not accounted for.
