If anything it is a strawman. There is no killer player screaming about not getting 4Ks all the time. When I play Killer I don't need a 4K. I want a competitive, fun game without survivors being toxic/bullying. Spamming vaults, tbagging at the exit gate, "EZ baby killer" in chat. Seriously, are these the guys that tested the Ruin changes? This isn’t a fair representation of low rank players, it was just bad. No looping skills, running away from pallets to dead areas, going down almost immediately in chases. With the new changes, skill checks work normally, but gens being regressed do so 1 / 1.5 / 2 times the normal speed. So early, Hex:Ruin is no threat. And late game, it's already been cleansed so it will never be a threat. Good job, BHVR. Just why? These forums are constant bitching that the devs are “survivor-biased” or “killer-biased”. From my observation, the majority of you bitching are the entitled red ranked survivors or killers. Ruin nerf is not that big of a deal. Specifically using third party chat. Including Ps4/XBones party chat options. It is not fair, or balanced. It is frustrating, and survivors acting toxic makes it even worse. It's like playing with 5 extra perk slots. Full totem knowledge, always know where the killer is, full gen awareness, hatch location, etc. It's easy mode for survivors, and it's 100% cheating. I'm not going to go too hard yet because we havent seen it in action but i feel lile the new ruin is trash. They stated it will be powerful in endgame but thats the real issue. HEX PERKS DON'T LAST TILL ENDGAME. They really don't. You'd be lucky if devour hope lasted past the second stack and that totem is "hidden" until it activates.
