The balancing of the game as of late (or longer for all I know) is being done under the assumption the game has two play experiences: Survivor and Killer. It doesn't. It has three: SWF, Killer, solo. Denying that is to deny a plain fact. Just played a few matches. I’d say around 6? As my last match was loading I could hear my dog choking on something downstairs so I did what most people would do and rushed downstairs. The biggest complaint about NOED is that it rewards killers for failing their objective. However, protecting generators is not the killer's objective. The killer's only goal is to prevent survivors from escaping. Protecting generators is a way to buy time towards completing the objective. Playing against Oni at the coal tower. I have him chase me all the way up to the top while gates get opened. He downs me up there and leaves. hmm 3 months into my time playing dbd and a YouTuber threatens me because he spent the match we where in purpessfull sabatogeing are team . I've always seen DCing as a way to protest things in the game you don't like, be it balance issues, gameplay mechanics, or glitches and such. The DC Penality was introduced to punish players who leave a game early. But as Killer you cant do ######### with this broken Matchmaking. I just want to do some challenges but always get sweaty players in Rank 15. I dont get any progress on that challenge and 2 Gens done in less then ~70 Seconds. Why am I getting hit through pallets AFTER a stun? I have a great connection, always a green bar and have never had latency problems in any other game. Earlier I was playing a game as survivor and I was put against a rank 12 Legion. Despite the toxic perks and addons he had he seemed to be trying to Bloodpoint farm with me and the other survivors. We were all sat healing each other next to 2 hooks and a generator. After a while (I assume when he maxed his Hits out) he knocked us down one by one and nobody thought anything of it. I wouldn't post this if this was the first time this happened to me. Match starts, I see two no mithers and instantly know what's about to go down. I'm gonna be straight to the point, you need to make an announcement that running Breakdown is a bannable offense until you fix it as you did when Legion mend addons were bugged. The perk right now is bugged and hooks are down for the entire game. I've noticed that almost every survivor player uses external tools to gain unfair competitive advantages. For example, Discord, TeamSpeak, console voice chats, etc. There is no voice chat in Dead by Daylight, which means that these tools are objectively cheating.
