This is dumb. I want Ash 4 to Iri 1 with nurse using nothing but vision perks and I'm a solidly mediocre nurse.
-
Dudes. Just run Left Behind. You'll be fine.
-
A good nurse with full vision perks is totally something you can feasibly escape. Sure, you're down in the first 12 seconds if they're good and probably dead in under a minute, but that's your fault for not being good.
-
C'mon, the filter is very important. You should be able to communicate without using the words, "Killer, Dead, Daylight, Mori, Meg, Dwight, Hag, Huntress, Pallet, and Somtimes."
-
I don't think it's a problem. Like someone said early, this is a skill based game. If you don't have the skill to be in a particular match, you leave, instead of wasting your time. People who complain about DCs are really saying that they can't win without other people to help do the heavy lifting, i.e. it's really a lack of skill on their part. Be good enough to 1v1 a killer. That's what hatch is for.
-
Hot take: We're not here to have fun. Killers are canonically out to suck the hope out of you with repeated torture and murder. If your victims are having fun, then you're failing in your mission. You want survivors so demoralized that they don't even try to run.

Your problem is:
A.) You think camping and tunneling is toxic.
B.) You want to play Perk Police.
and
C.) You think Killers doing any of this is designed for you not to have fun, and not, you know... them doing their objective.
You have a whole thread devoted to hating on a single perk. Take your hypocrisy elsewhere.
-
Balancing? What's that!?
-
Oh, I'm one of those nurses, absolutely. Lethal pursuer, I'm on your ass in 6 seconds, it's all vision perks, all the time. Distorion helps but not enough. If you're a good nurse, you can beat anyone and unless you're up against really really good survivors, even a decently competent nurse will wreck shop against 90% of teams
-
Solo q? Dude, swf is barely worth playing. Every killer is toxic and ######### and horrible. When you play several hours a night and don't have a single good game, the problem is the people. We've got an awful community full of awful people. ######### sucks but reworking perks won't change that.
-
My idea? To have her not just arbitrarily get ######### by weird collision. I play with the flannel so I know where I'm aiming and there are times that ######### gets weird with it. When a fully charged blink isn't enough to take you out of the basement, there's something weird going on. But it's not as though I have any context for how her mechanics work under the hood. This is an issue with collision, so far as I can tell but I don't know what to do about it.

Still you wouldn't know it during the offering screen if 5 offerings in total were not played
Also it might just be a yellow mori as well which pretty much requires normal gameplay or forcing survivors to leave or bleed out
Killer offering tokens look slightly different from survivors,so you can tell. And when it's late at night, when all the tryhards online? Please. It's always at least a green.During the day, sure.

You cant really tell if its an actual mori though or a shroud, especially in the offering screen if someone does not play anything. it can be mistaken for a mori up until you get in the match and see that it was only a shroud of binding or something
95/100 it's a Mori. After 1500 hours, I've seen shroud like... three times.
-
I always regret when I don't tunnel. It never turns out well.
-
Ormond train. Though RPD is starting to grow on me
-
Oh that's just great. What's the easiest way to get a survivor who's got haste? Freshly unhooked. Here we are, devs encouraging hook camping.
-
All I want for christmas is fun.
Did you have fun? No. 95/100 matches, the answer is no, not at all. Everyone and their mother are running moris and noed. It's all hard tunneling, face camping, survivors who almost bled out on 2 gens ratting you out to the killer because they're mad kind of bullshit. Everyone is out to ruin everyone else's day. We're a cesspool community. That's the problem.

Not true. This chapter is great compared to
Darkness among us
Binding of kin
Resident evil(Nemesis)
All kill
Not exactly setting the bar high, are we?
-
Cool idea? What the hell are you guys talking about? "Hey, camping is a serious problem that needs addressing. Let's make a killer that can camp from long distance!" Because his power is so slow to activate, camping hooks is mainly what it's good for, so that's how it gets used. I couldn't imagine a worse design.
-
Oh yeah, survivor is super unrewarding. Killers are either inept or completely awful people with very little in between. Every time I play, I end up regretting it immensely. The depression is real. The depression is bad. The depression is directly as a result of the DBD community. You can be a good killer and get a 4k without being an ######### about it and let everybody have fun and people just choose not to. They choose to play in the way that robs other people of having a positive experience. Bad sportsmanship should be penalized and it isn't. I'd love to see it where a killer loses 10K bloodpoints off their end score if a survivor bleeds out. There's no reason to ever leave someone on the ground that long. Ever. But it happens regularly, just leave people slugged because you've just gotta have that 4k and you won't risk letting someone hatch.
-
It's not good now, never has been. Probably won't ever. It's not the game, it's the people who play it are horrible and no patch is going to fix that.
-
It's the stupidest thing, you can't say dead. It's in the name of the game ffs.
-
Yeah, been trying to get the Iri rank 1 acheivement and keep missing that iri. And malicious will be like... two points short. Getting screwed out of pips is so frustrating
-
Life and living are also both censored? What even...?
-
Every time I try to be nice to survivors, I end up regretting it immensely. So, tunneling is fine, do it if you need it. And sometimes it's really the best way. If you're good enough then you can gauge your skill against other people. The christmas elf dwight is trying to get your attention because they're good at running and looping. If you're in a match with someone you know is better than you, your best option is to target the weakest link, cut the support lines.
-
The real issue is that BHVR is so so averse to regulating how people play. They want to fix the issues from inside the game's framework. Camping and tunneling are a ######### game experience, they're not fun. But they're also not 'against the rules' and the people who make the rules won't change them.In plenty of other games, you can get punished for being toxic, but not here. No matter how awful it is to play with you, so long as you aren't hacking, you aren't culpable for how you play.
-
Legion and wesker for days.
-
I'm just putting my experiences out there for people.
It's now been several days and still haven't seen any new weskers not 4k. It's almost every time. One guy wanted to camp in the basement and the other was very new. Most of the dialogue here is about the hitbox. The hitbox is irrelevent. Good killers aren't using his m2 for damage but for map distance. He's got so much map pressure because there's no slowdown for using his dash. Nurse and Blight have to stop after they use there power so you can run them, spirit can kind of be worked around if you're aware of your scratch marks. It doesn't matter if Wesker misses, he just gets in close and M1s. Better chase potential than almost anyone.
-
@Irisora said:
How bad can you be to die so many time againts the bugy mess Wesker is right now? I can't count with my fingers all the times i have been robbed while using the bound.. that and the awful collisions make him barely playable.
How bad can you be to miss so many bounds?
-
Part of it is that you didn't use your pressure very well. At the end, waiting in the basement instead of going after gens was abig mistake. You had two injuries and someone with an active hat, but you decided not to press your advantage and instead let them heal and regroup

Killers are enjoying an advantage at the noob levels and against full solos, which it's always been like that. After adjusting to the DH nerf, high MMR survivors and sweaty SWF are still punking all killers not named Nurse or Blight easily. Once reassurance comes out, SWF escape rate will jump even more IMO
Weird thing about that. Nurse and blight uses were low, they only accounted for 5/75 matches. Kills, my three nurse matches were 0, 2 and 2.
Only saw 2 blights but those were both 4ks
-
Legion for sure, with Pinhead a close second
-
No, no, I agree with OP. 9/10 matches are bad and every time I play, I regret it completely.
-
I agree with OP. Tunnel and camp because survivors make the game thoroughly unenjoyable. Every time I try to place nice, I regret it. So, don't play nice.
-
OP isn't entirely wrong. I'll absolutely sui on hook for the slightest reason. If I'm not having fun with you, then I refuse to play, it's that simple.
-
Prestige 3 Meg, all perks
-
Don't recommend staying. But, DBD has taught me some valuable lessons. Like, if my problems become too much to deal with, I've always got a way out.
-
I find it interesting that DH and CoH are on almost every single one of these.
Killer: Dead Hard, DS and Deliverance. That particular combo is just to troll with.
Survivor: Thatanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher and BBQ
Honestly it surprises me that there's been so little mention of BBQ. I hate it. It's the biggest crutch in the game, even as killer I hate using it because it feels like training wheels but it's too good not to use. Up to double bloodpoints and vision for every hook ? And then you're in Solo and your teammates can't run so you've gotta hop in a locker every ten seconds.
-
Pig with Tinkerer. Save your hats for late game, make sure someone has one on before the last gen pops. Kick the door open immediately. Everyone is altruistic, tries to run interference for their friend with the hat. Waste time as much as possible and trigger your skill near the end. It's so satisfying to have 30 seconds of Blood Warden but only 20 seconds of EGC timer
-
I love being able to say no. Killer wants to bring a mori, black ward or party streamers? Gosh, the match canceled... Wonder who dc'ed during the loading screen. Ah well...
-
The idea that toxicity only exists when someone is throwing racial slurs is a problem. I've had a good handful of friends who seemed interested in the game, so I brought them in, taught them how to play and did some swfs only for them to quit a couple weeks later because the player base makes the game such an unenjoyable experience. That's a big problem, and fairly frustrating for me. I want people to play with. Playing killer has lost all enjoyment for me and solo queue matches are heavily onesided in whatever direction. It's either no hooks or twelve with very little in between. If this was just a one time occurrence, someone didn't like the game, fine. But six? Six separate people all coming to the same conclusion independently means there's a problem in the game.
-
Up vote for you, my dude. This is what we need more of, hard data.
-
It's never going to get better. Leave now or you'll end up like me, just barely scraping together the will to live
-
If I'm lucky, three matches and then I'm contemplating a swandive off the roof
-
The community, yeah. I finish most matches just about at imminent self harm levels of depression.
-
Perform well enough that I don't feel obligated to self harm. It's a rare thing though.
-
Yes, please, turn off DC penalties. If I'm facing survivors who are being dicks, I'm leaving. Not dealing with that.
-
I'd rather just refuse to engage. Stealth killer so they get no points from terror radius, no hooks, no injuries, kick the door open, deny people as many blood points as you possibly can. And when they try to wait out the EGC to give you a pity kill, you dc at the last second. The individual actions of people will not change the situation. So, way i figure it, our best option is to make the problem worse. Force it to be addressed.
-
Fun? God no, I'm at self harm imminent in the first 30 seconds.
