Hyello people of the Fog! I created a perk a while back called Finders Keepers that would allow survivors to find, carry, switch, and possibly escape with 2 items. I thought now and days it could be a bit more useful with the few select archive challenges requiring someone to search a certain amount of chest. Should intentionally D/Cing to give the last player the Hatch be considered an exploit/be prevented?Too many petty Survivors that are determined to get any sort of "win", at any cost, D/C to try and give the last player hatch. Ik that discord has at least covered voice chat, but with crossplay its a challenge for console and pc players to play a game together. Also their is the public lobbies, which ik sounds bad, but wouldn't it be great if you could talk to a player who u respected and become friends. Welp here is ur chance. Just curious to see if anyone here is getting the Steam Deck (a handheld PC) and is going to play DBD on it. I've thought about purchasing a Switch for a while for this reason but the Steam Deck was announced a few weeks ago and since it's a "PC", I can simply login to Steam and progress on my main account. If you don't know, currently when Spirit is in phase she can't hear footsteps anymore, but survivors also don't hear your footsteps anymore (this from previous patches). After looking at some older clips, it made me realise how much better the old animations fitted with the game (in my opinion) and overall just looked smoother, especially the healthy running animation. The old animations also allowed your character to respond much more to your inputs, for example you were able to move your head up and down whilst running, and crouching.
