I returned to the game a week ago after three weeks away from the game. I know this will be an argument waiting to happen before I even post it but I believe it would be fair for both sides if we got rid of both keys and moris. Both of these can be very toxic and neither are fun to play against. Leatherface at release was a brilliant killer, as few knew how to counter his chainsaw. Now, at better ranks, his ability seems near useless, the chainsaw doesn’t really help in a chase unless there are no windows or pallets around, like in the center of Shelter Woods or small areas in Gas Heaven. I am not really new to the game as I have been playing for around 9 months, but I have always wondered what the green keys are actually used for... So I made sure I was on deathhook with Kate per the requirements. Hatch spawned after all other survivors died. I jumped through the hatch, exited and received no credit for the challenge. Am I missing something? Can I only exit through a gate? Does the killer have to hook me twice (I struggled on the first hook to assure myself that I was indeed deathhook)? As always, I'm the first one to freak out about the graphical aspect of this game, but to me it is extremely important. I believe the main reason why all breakable walls are alike is so that they can look like pallets and be easily distinguished by new killer players. But I do not agree with this at all. Surge, Brutal Strength, Save the Best for Last. And a tracking perk. I like Discordance. Maximum time saved in chases. Never kicking gens. Chewing through pallets. Closing the distance ASAP. What's the matter if you play against a PC player? first of all, i hope they don't implement a way to check in or check off which platforms to play with or this would ruin the whole concept of "crossplay". Reporting people doesn’t seem to get anything to happen anymore, especially on console where you can’t write a reason or description to get them banned for holding the game hostage or cheating. You report people and nothing happens. And there is no where to put specific video evidence either. Title. Basic graphical settings are missing from the game menu and I’m concerned that people may have issues with performance come this graphics update. Of course while For Honor managed to do this without affecting performance at all, across any platforms, it wasn’t really on such a scale as DBD is going to have. Even with the real world concerns right now, it was very refreshing and needed to take a break from this game and at times, toxic community. I highly recommend to players who get angry really easily with this game to take a 2 week break if not until the next Chapter comes out. We can debate all day about if it's fair or if it's a crutch, but see it for what it is: a 2nd chance. We talk about 2nd chance perks and stuff, but when you think about it, 2nd and 3rd chances are actually built into the core game. How the survivors do on gens is irrelevant since it spawns no matter what, either when enough gens have been done or if there is just 1 survivor left. I just played for a while, survivor to get some challenges done and me and every survivor had pretty good ping. We played against a Spirit and the hits felt way off, the game kept saying that it was having high ping and stayed like that throughout the match, this is the only match that this has happened to. Only kill a specific Survivor each day... So like Day 1 I only one hook mori dwights, but everyone else gets out free. Day 2 only Megs get one hook mori'ed... If I get a match with none of the survivors that day, they all go free. I mean BHVR overloaded me with all of these mori's and I feel like they should get some use. That’s close to where I’m at right now. I do like the game, but I’m getting so frustrated right now. I’m a level 13 survivor getting under 10k blood points a match, and getting nowhere in the bloodweb. Killer spots me, killer hangs me...every damn time.
