I just want to put a little hat on him....that would be epic. :)
-
Whats really crazy is all of the KILLERS that have been DC-ing in my matches, especially after using a cake offering! I can't wait til DC penalties come back.
-
I love playing against nurse these days. They are so rare to actually come across. I think people's frustration is probably more towards the perk combos that nurses have been using lately. For example, I've been seeing a lot of Starstruck/Agitation combos on nurse which is absolutely brutal to go against on a smaller map.
I do believe that players can run whatever perks they like and play how they want, but even i catch myself thinking "not another one" when the first survivor gets picked up and I'm immediately exposed....again....

Nice,a challenge nearly complete outside of the players control -.-
Actually, you have a lot of control over it. I wait until I know a killer is near the generator I was working on and then quickly jump in a locker using quick and quiet. Since the killer is already right by the gen, I get credit towards this challenge. Got it on the first try with this strategy.

Blast mine counts as both a stun and a blind and will grant 2 progress for the stun or blind killer challenge.
Sweet....thanks!
-
Out of curiosity, does it count towards the blind/stun the killer rift challenge?

So I've just realized. Spirit is the only pay 2 win killer in this game. just buy her, use headphones, learn how to phase in 2 minutes, add stridor cause ofc she's not strong enough without it, add broken add ons and there you go, let your boosting to rank 1 begin.(don't forget about ruin, undying and corrupt). have fun :D
I'm guessing someone got rekt by a Spirit....

Technically...traps spread out is to not letting him 3 Gens every game. It force you to have 1-2 traps per area. You just cant ask the Devs to give him double Purple bag, when they still refuse to give him half a Brown bag.
Trapper's power is actually one of the strongest, none gives you "free hook" as much as Beartrap. You takes 30s to injure someone then continue chasing them? Suddenly someone else trapped nearby, thats a free hook.
Its about his RNG make his power unreliable. Even with his recently fixed RNG, they still able to escape in 1 try with 17% chance.
I would remove RNG and give survivor skill check, if they success, they escape. Starts with 10 degree skill check, +10 degree for each time they fail (consider DS skill check is 30 degree which people still missed sometime).
His traps spawn closer to middle
Still start with 1, carry 2
Yeah, I REALLY like this idea. Plus, think how awesome it would feel to hit that crazy skill check on the first attempt!!
-
I love the look of the map, but its not very much fun with a nurse running distressing and starstruck....sigh.

@ShinobuSK said:
No, something basic like that should have been in the game already
I think that might be OP's original point. If they wanted it to be in the game, they would have added it already.

I had one of these with Mike like 2 month ago on backwater and got non stop messages from a D.king and his wife because the team died in 3 minutes. I hooked the wife in tier 2 with stalk just about maxed and a Laurie was following whole time trying to flashlight. Soon as I hooked I turned around and popped tier 3 and downed Laurie, seen scratch marks of a blendette heading to unhook the wife and she didn't make it, I hooked the claud and seen the Husband (d.King) hiding behind a tree with BBQ so I went over and downed him just in time. He was still crouched behind the same tree when I got there. game over. The harassment was insane could not understand any of their own mistakes whatsoever.
Exactly. I have no problem leaving the hook and finding someone else, but when everyone else is swarming the hook, there's nowhere else to go (except for maybe the corner of the map so they could heal and reset)

I've been flamed over Warden plays and Bamboozle plays before. It is nothing new from survivors. I really wish they would REMOVE Post-game chat.
Problem with that though is ive had some really great post-game chats and even made some friends as a result. Its a shame that some salty players have to ruin that.

People actually speedrun the game so apply for an any% WR and see if you get it lol
Oh I know they do. I have a buddy who is obsessed with it. Personally, I don't really care how fast my matches go, but when a bunch of exposed survivors rush the hook, you have to realize that its going to be a short match.
I don't think my match would even rank though, because they wasted a bunch of my time in the early game keeping me in Tier 1. They just imploded after that basement hook.

Kinda like accusing survs of gen rush... :)
EXACTLY like that. How dare you be efficient! Lol

However the worst I get are always Fengs. Always.

I would like to introduce you to Whispers and Discordance, two perks which give you immense value by letting you find survivors and push them off gens right at the start of the match, thus slowing down the early game.
Except Discordance is garbage with low mobility killers. Nothing is quite as stressful as watching Discordance go off across the map and having to walk 4.4 m/s to get there, only to have it done by the time you get there.
-
Albert Wesker....unlikely, but would be cool.
-
I'm still convinced that we are getting Mr X. That "x" on the teaser trailer is going to be the same kind of clue as the "pyramidhead-shaped" four from last year's anniversary.
I think Chris and Jill are the safe bets for survivors. However, if they offer a Wesker legendary skin for Chris, I will be begging them to take my money....lol
-
The RNG gods typically smile on me when I play against The Pig. Its rare when I still have a bear trap on my head after the second box has been checked.

Not really I been playing since it came out and noticed every update is a buff on killers like the other day when they speeded up the trickster all because cry baby killers moaning
The difference is, most people who have been playing since the beginning, myself included, have gotten better. You would just rather complain than improve your skills.

Yeah, personally I feel it's gonna be Leon, Jill, and Nemesis.
That "x" on the teaser trailer makes me think it will be Mr X rather than Nemesis

I'm still crossing my fingers for Albert Wesker.... 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Thanks BHVR, you made one of my most hated maps into maybe a map i will like

Honestly I think they were WAY more consistent before. I knew exactly what I would and wouldnt slide off. Now it's pretty much a gamble again, cuz ######### all those hours learning what he slides off of. BHVR just had to change the detection for his collision so it's different from before... not fix anything anyways AND make it worse in the process.
That's been my experience as well. I never know what is going to register as a slam and what I'm going to slide along.

Never, because I have eyes. I've come CLOSE before on Lery's, but I haven't been grabbed off a gen since like 2018.
Doesn't hurt that the grabbing animation is bugged these days either...

Keep underestimating the Megs... :)

Like leader this perk is amazing. You can see the killer across the whole map and also use this info to see what walls and pallets aren't broken. Is also great in chase to counter Brutal Strength or Fire Up(It's bad but still) and killers who can instantly break a pallet since you can use the info in chase to avoid a mind game. It's a real bummer this perk use to suck but the devs made it real good like they should do with each perk rework. But i don't see it much.
Alert used to be one of my favorite perks. Its amazing how often a killer kicks a pallet or a gen and you instantly knew where he was. Like Mandy said, my playstyle has changed over time and i replaced it with other things, but it's still a valuable perk.

Had a Slinger killer last night after tunneling and camping all of us ( I play solo so not a team) and in 2 mins the game was over and he texted yeee haaww at the end. Now most would say so what but it is just dumb and salty to say something like that after you totally played the game the laziest/easiest you know how. Why not just move on to the next game?? I did without saying anything. I dont get the babies in adult bodies these days. And that is the best of what some of the douchebags say. Most are way worse when they dont win every single game.
Deathslinger is a cowboy.
Cowboys say "yeeee haaaaw".
Seems to check out alright.

I only played two games against him. The first one didn’t even try to use his knives. The second guy used them with pinpoint accuracy downing me in seconds, making me wonder how the hell I’m going to compete against somebody that doesn’t even allow me to get to cover because theres zero cooldown. The jury is still out.
I'm the same. Only had one Trickster match yesterday and the killer was having trouble tracking me in a chase. i dont feel I've had enough experience with or against him to make a fair assessment yet.

i find him quite weak but its just annyoing to snap have to snap out of it all the time because teammates loop around you so he hits both it extends gens to like 20 sec extra if you are unlucky
So you "find him weak" but still want him nerfed? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. You nerf things that are OP, not things that simply annoy you.

I have no idea why but every single killer I go against seems to have a hate boner for Ash. It doesn't matter how good or bad I play they always camp me, tunnel me, or throw the game just to kill me. I even had a killer say "** you Ash" in the end game screen and I played really badly.
Is it true that every killer hates Ash or are there other survivors that are more hated?
Puppet-hand Ash can do no wrong in my book.

Haha...thats how I usually get caught! I run a loop as survivor and think "there's no way I could make that turn as a Billy." Then the Billy makes that turn....sigh 😕

I just got light burned as nurse immediately before this!
But yeah, first time ever, and I have like 900 hours of playtime, at least 100 hours of which is Nurse.
Wow...I respect the survivor who had the guts to try it. I never bother because if you fail, its pretty much a death sentence....lol

Well when i get chase i usually run around the map and don't stick to an area, so if i ever run close to a gen being repaired there is no way for me to know it's the case, besides that this gen is in a safe area. So definitly not on purpose ^^
Real sandbaggers equip Bond / OoO and they will not care about your perk sadly ^^
I'm with you on this one. I love when people accuse me of bringing the killer to them. If I run the killer long enough, im using up resources in that particular area and need to move on to the next one to stay alive. I would argue that the real sandbaggers are the ones who somehow can't get any gens done while im looping the killer for an extended period of time.

Oh, I agree with you. I was more pointing out that some survivors already disconnect for anything.

Lol. It's like asking people in COD to stop killing others, so they could land a shot on you in order to not get annoyed. Maybe survivors also need to start DC'ing when huntress snipes someone, or Billy does a good curve on a survivor?
Seriously, think before you type something.
Some survivors DO DC when you get a Huntress snipe on them or a great Billy curve...
