Spirit is more forgiving with mistakes than Nurse. As a Spirit main who just cant "git gud" with Nurse, I had a much easier time learning how to be effective with Spirit without having an annoying stun each time i used my power. I think they are both solid killers, but the Spirit will always be my goto killer.

For everyone who thinks that you should only be able to mori someone after they are hooked twice, that would be absolutely pointless. At that point, i might as well hook you the third time and get more points as you are already out of the game. The mori in its current state gives you less points because you are being removed from the game earlier than usual. You act like you are getting moried every match. The only time i use a mori is for a daily ritual or to get rid of it before i prestige.

I have yet to see DS make an appearance in my matches since the rework. Of course, if someone tries farming the poor guy on the hook when im still in the area, i tend to slug the hooked survivor and chase after the farmer. The DS timer typically runs out before I get back.

How about not letting lit totems spawn within x meters of a gen. Requiring they spawn within 1 meter of other objects, thus making them more likely to be tucked away. Increase the chance for them to spawn in corners, behind barrels, etc.
Totem placement is a joke most of the time. Heck, I'd be ok with the idea of not letting hex totems light up for 60 seconds after the game begins.
EDIT: And can killers please be able to know which totem is which? If I want to prioritize defending Lullaby over Ruin, that should be my choice.
I actually like not knowing what totem is what. Since i tend to run Haunted Grounds, i love when a group of survivors fight so hard to cleanse a particular totem only to find out that they all have the exposed effect now....

Complains about second chances.
Uses NOED and Rancor.
sigh
I don't use Rancor for the exposed effect, especially since my obsession tends to get sacrificed before the gens are done. I use Rancor as a tracking perk because i like the snapshot of survivor locations.

@Delfador Well said, my friend.

I played a match as Spirit against three Ash survivors this morning and MoM never made an appearance. I'm assuming that hitting a survivor out of phasewalk doesnt count towards activating the perk.

@DudeDelicious yes, thats exactly what i mean.
and in the end chat they will tell you how stupid you are for using overcharge, while not even realizing what they did there...
And that was why i started this post in the first place. I let someone convince me i was stupid for running Overcharge. This is why i love this community. I asked an honest question and got a whole mess of good advice! Thanks again!

@Chicagopimp also sometimes it’s smart to pair Overcharge with Green Dress.
Why?
Some sleeping survivors, especially the more skilled ones, will smarten up and try to succeed the Overcharge Skill Check to avoid the large penalty to then try and fail the next Skill Check. With Green Dress it’s alnost a given that’ll take ages for the next skill check to pop up, and they’ll have made such little repair progress due to the action penalties (plus the time bought to catch up to them and whack em)
I like that idea! Definitely going to try that one out.

@DudeDelicious Thanks for the video example. Franklins is one of my favorite perks and i unfortunately dont have it yet for Freddy. I have been using Huntress Lullaby on Freddy and the extra 6%regression is nice :) I think the problem i had was not being disciplined enough to keep hitting the gens before chasing. Going to give it some more tries and see what comes of it. Based on the responses ive gotten, it looks like i was on the right track and shouldnt have let survivors make me second guess my strategy
-
@Huntar I think that was the point that someone was trying to make to me after the match and i was more focused on the gen regression.
@DudeDelicious That was the strategy i was using. It wasnt tough to put someone back into the dream world because i knew their location based on the failed skill check on the gen. At one point, the gens werent even cranking because they had regressed so much.
-
That's the strategy i was using. I don't know why i was second guessing myself. Thanks for the reassurance!
-
That's who i got the idea from. He's also at a much higher level than I am, so I didn't know if it was something that required a really strong killer to pull off.
-
I still say sorry for the DCs as a killer, not because its my fault, but because i am acknowledging that some DC-ing jag ruined the game for the survivors as well as me. I also thank them for staying around and playing a shorthanded game rather than immediately disconnecting as well. Nothing toxic or idiotic about it.

Post game I see a lot of killers say "Sorry for the DCs".
Why should the killers apologize? Survivors should apologize for the DCs, and I do.

Its funny to hear the other side. I was like "holy cow, an instant lobby!" before i heard that they changed the lobby system back to the old way. Under the new system i was waiting for 3-5 minutes for a three person lobby where i waited for ten more minutes before we had enough players to start.

I only prestige my characters to get a "reroll" on perks if i didnt get the ones i wanted the last time around. Of course, ive also felt the buyer's remorse when the first two perks on my bloodweb after a prestige were insidious and monstrous shrine....sigh
-
I definitely need to get better, but even the blood is tough to spot in that cornfield. Still waiting for bloodhound to appear in my bloodweb...lol

@Chicagopimp2019 You just need more practice. In the absolute worst case scenarios, just follow the blood puddles on the ground.

Legion + Rotten Fields = DEFINITELY not OP....lol
Legion is so short, you cant even see the damn corn move. Needless to say, the match didnt go very well...lol

I cant remember the last time i was at Lery's....seems like ive been spending most of my time on the farm.
