I have over 2k hours in DBD on PS4. It wasn't until cross platform was introduced that there is a map offering in seemingly every single match that I play. This really only works if you are vsing a nurse, a clown (maybe), or a killer on an indoor map. So basically, tenacity lets you crawl away super fast, but no mither causes you to leave no blood, so the killer will be like WHERE DID HE GO. Why only clown and nurse? Almost every single high level game it’s always DS, Unbreakable, some exhaustion perk (usually dead hard) and then a perk of your choice. I think it’s an issue that stems from DS being sort of being both a little too powerful and unreplaceable. Seriously, I noticed it before with grabbing off gens that turn into just a basic smack. But come on! I recently had 3 opportunities to grab a survivor (3 different games obviously) from getting a Hatch! The animation ticks but No! I keep seeing posts of games by good streamers where they get gen-rushed and completely lose the match. Lots of the comments just say that the killer in question should just 'pressure the gens' and then point out every small mistake the killer makes and blames that for why they lost the game. I was just playing a round with a group of Survivors and saw where one looked like they had gotten stuck on the hill. I go the lunge attack before I realized it and left him be. I come back a bit later and they is still there, but with a friend next to them healing them. I tried to push the survivor out of lock and went on about my business. I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but I was in a match,it was just me and a Laurie who was hiding all game, and then suddenly the game ends, I get 24k points from the match, the game says the killer disconnected, and yet I now have a DC ban of 15 mins? So recently I have been having problems with my dbd crashing sometimes and it has resulted in absurd penalties. One time I got 8 hours! But that's not the worst of it because today I got one for 24 HOURS! It's crazy and unfair. I didn't decide for my game to crash and disconnect from the game and I still get a penalty for it. Would an icon that pops up in the bottom right (similar to when you're affected by leader. streetwise, vigil etc) when someone that unhooks you has babysitter be better because you would know that you are affected by it? This would make the perk much more useful as it let's the unhooked survivor know that they can just run away for the duration of the time. I have noticed some survivors seem to run in a small circle or turning back when i chase them to a corner that make us lose line of sight. Is this a way of baiting so i go after them or make sure i can see them to keep chasing them instead of going for their friends who might be doing a gen nearby? I know people have been complaining about this since the beginning of time, but can something be done about this already? I personally don't care too much if it happens to me because I have an idea of how to deal with it, but I've had a couple of friends start the game and it's really discouraging to new players when this stuff keep happening. After crossplay came in. it is cool that your friends can now play with one another. But at the same time. It has mechanics that are NOT going to synchronize with what is happening between one another. My PC is directly connected to a network and has a processor that is one speed, while the Console is at another speed. I get it, tickrates make up part of the difference. I don't mean a thing that lights up precisely at 32 meters from survivors. I mean the noises the entity makes when whispers is active. Those noises come in intervals and are not as precise for tracking as the perk lighting up. Do you guys think it'd be too much? I'd remember they promised console optimization a year ago, and here we are! Indoor maps are lagin af, and even some old maps (that we're running in stable 50 - 60 FPS) are running in 30 - 40 FPS (sometimes even lower). And you know why? Sometimes, survivors are dumb enough to unhook their teammates as soon as I turn my back on the hooked survivor. What I normally do then, is quickly down the unhooked and start a chase with the unhooker (in terms scoring performance that's the best you can do, and you avoid being a dick).
