Everyone is saying that Trickster is weak and not scary. But I’ve been watching streams from the survivor perspective going against Trickster, and that barrage of knives flying everywhere looks pretty scary to me. The perk would block the exit gate similarly like Blood Warden, but would activate whenever the killer is inside the exit gate area. There's clearly something that bugs ppl about the trickster and he's very different from the other killers. Some ppl might point at the tricksters clothes, hair, attitude or whatever. Others have rightfully pointed out reasons why that doesn't make sense. Personally, I think the "problem" with the trickster is that he feels like just a normal villain. Not a horror killer. Why would the devs decide to add yet ANOTHER ranged killer into the game. Did we not learn from the mistakes of deathslinger, pyramid head and victor how boring and poor ranged killers become once you start making every killer have a ranged attack? Speaking only in terms of mechanics I think it's pretty apparent that Trickster needs a little extra to his kit to differentiate himself from huntress and slinger. I think this could be ameliorated slightly by adding to his base kit. Killers wont stop whining about DS until it literally does nothing. A change that harsh on the perk, and people are still whining that it's too strong. It's your fault for tunneling in the first place. It's understandable to be annoyed when every survivor on the team has the damn perk. But bitching when its used at all is childish. Alright dude im PISSED. Steam keeps going down for maintenance the last few days for a few minutes at a time, and I keep getting temp bans from matchmaking because of it. I've been at the 15 minute ban mark like 4 times and I already know it's gonna be extended more than 15 minutes if it keeps happening. I'm ok with your penalty system, it surely prevent lot of people to do so but they are killing themselves or didn't play as killer for all the game. So the not participating problem is still here. I feel i was a bit overconfidence with seeing the new perks and I now think some of them need to be changed to be even more useful. So much thought and love went into his animations and sounds. But one thing that seems small and some have complained about is actually really awesome... he runs and with personality. The new killer is unique and super fun to play, I can't say the same for a lot of different killers in this game. The whole "Just play huntress" argument is just annoying at this point because it's become very boring for me to play her, plus her humming makes me want to rip my hair out. Seriously, I love this chapter. The lore was a great start, the aesthetic is my jam... I just love it. Big props as well to the art/animation team. I adore his bat flip animation he does after hitting a survivor with the M1, and I love all the little details and hints of personality you can see in how he moves. NOED is one of the unhealthiest perks in the game. I'm having a really hard time understanding some people's arguments against it.
