  • I don't know where I stand on Devour hope mainly because it's rare but it's also very annoying. It comes completely unexpected and it puts a pause on the entire game having survivors scrambling in order to find it. When it up it seems like an automatic win for the killer if they happen to get lucky with totem spawns. But that's my opinion on it. What about yours? ( I'm not saying for it to be n

  • People bring up that The Trickster does not fit in Dead by Daylight because he's wearing bright flashy clothes and is not scary. Here's the thing though, if I asked you (the reader) "When was the last time you were actually scared in Dead by Daylight?" It would probably be a long time ago. For me I stopped being scared after the first 5-10 hours of playing and I have between 2.5k and 3k hours in

  • Now obviously the title baits you in on actual gameplay but I think the trickster opens new avenues for what future killers can be. The trickster is a very non scary killer that plays more like an action game which means he opens up the game to new killers we would never think of seeing. Killers like John wick who has to kill survivors to see his dog again would be just as intimidating as the tri

  • killer takes 2 seconds to kick a gen and survivor takes basically nothing to stop it right? my idea on how to fix this: when working on a regressing generator, a survivor will not actually make progress to the main repair. A new interaction bar comes up that takes 2 seconds to complete, after you have stopped the regression then the generator will repair as normal. It would almost be like sab

  • When you're playing survivor you have no control over this, but for some reason the dev team decided no, we can't give chase points if a killer isn't moving anymore. so there's no way to fill boldness at all. and doing gens and only gens isn't enough to get rank progress. yes you can break totems but it's still not enough. If a killer goes AFK don't punish a team that can do nothing abo

  • As we know this game can be stressful and makes you want to throw your monitor out of the window, so recently I've been unloading some addons and have been having some quite interesting games. I never thought I would see as much extremely upset survivors until I ran a decent amount of games today using RHPF lol. I kind of feel bad for the survivors that run across me, and sometimes I give them h

  • This perk gives so much value I'm honestly bummed it doesn't get ran more. 1. Slugging this perks help so much with dealing with slugging say your teammate distracts the killer your other teammate trys to get you up but he can't heal you in time say because of Sloppy. But Leader counteracts this and it'll get you up. Leader+Unbreakable I've found good. 2. Escaping with your teammate normally y

  • Today I was just playing at the Autohaven Map as Huntress. I am gonna skip all the things at the map but there is only 1 problem which are hitbox logic. I was aiming at the survivor's head but it hit the one of the autohaven car which survivor abuses it and there was a gap which was possible for hatch to pass the car but due to logic of the game it hits the car. I mean it should be improved cause

  • We have 3 charm slots. 6 tomes with 4 chapters each giving 1 charm. 1-2 charms per seasonal event. 29 charms in this rift and 20+ charms in the previous 5 rifts. Likely around 160-170 charms in total. 3 charm slots. Barely visible on survivors, and sitting on hooks for Killers. We can expect the next rift to add another 20+ with the chapter tome bringing another 4. Why do we need so

  • noun an intense feeling of fear, shock, or disgust. ~ looked up on google The Trickster - A killer who happens to be a K-pop star with clothes that are "too flashy" who brutally and mercilessly murdered many of his adoring fans or other innocent people and incorporated their screams into his music. So you have this guy who lures people in with his looks and then shows his true self to peop

  • Honesty I believe that gens should immediately be regressed by 5% every time you kick them. This would stop gen tapping and it would buff base regression, either that or always give survivors a skillcheck when they start repairing a regressing generator. what do u think about gen tapping?

  • I did this one personally. sorry for the audio issues, I forgot the the PS5 has an active mic at all times unless your turn it off. You don't see this part but I had blood warden so I saw the survivor doing this from the other gate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8UXsZo3KZM

  • This is the strat, that huntress mains do ̶n̶o̶t̶ want you to know. You all know how huntress needs to reload hatchets, right? But if there is a survivor inside, she will grab him instead. So by hiding in a locker near the hook, where she is hooking someone you can efficiently prevent her from reloading, therefore denying her power and making her 110% m1 killer. This strat is INSANE

  • I'm not sure how to put this across without it sounding insulting but it's common knowledge that map design has been one of the biggest problems with Dead By Daylight. Sometimes issues crop up that are addressed quickly (infinite on Saloon), other times they take years (Ironworks etc). Just as we have a community cosmetic contest, why not have a map design contest? see what the community can com

  • Now, I know a lot of people hate Midwich, but hear me out. The two maps that were designed WITH breakable walls in mind are pretty well balanced if you get down to it: They're not too big or too small, giving plenty of room to avoid the killer or engage them in a chase and lead them away. Latter without the possibility to lead them so far away that slower killer would be at a disadvantage if t

  • I personally think that self care can help you in hardcore situations. If you drop your med-kit, or you don't have one, you forgot one, or you didn't bring it and need to heal asap. I want to know why people think that self-care is an irrelevant perk? I've always noticed how people regret not having self-care but still hate it. Since I am a new player I might not understand why people believe tha

  • I've gotten plenty of messages where I'm called a camper and think people throw that term around way too much. Three examples 1. Had a survivor on hook, EDC was active, exit was right by me, hatch was by me, and two survivors were trying to save their friend. I personally don't view this as camping since why the hell would I leave the 3 survivors for the one across the map 2. Had a survivor on

  • I really don't have anything to spend them on unless the shrine brings all the perks I want. I'm 50/50 on buying the trickster. He looks fun but not very strong. I would like to try his perks on other killers. Is it ok to save bloodpoints despite being over the limit? Is there a bot that checks your account?

  • Idk if its just me, but after the rework this map has become one of my most hated maps ever. Ever since they opened up that window back its been a nightmare even with the breakable wall. There is also another window to the side of the building that makes the building just a nuisance of a loop for many killers. Also I regularly see 2 pallets at one loop specifically on this map without fail. Its

  • I think if MMR and matchmaking is properly implemented, not every killer needs to be strong. Depending on the selected killer and the player rating for the selected killer, the matchmaking could end up usually working like this: strong killer + good player = good survivors strong killer + bad player = medium survivors weak killer + good player = medium survivors weak killer + bad player = ba

  • So don't get me wrong doing gens is how you win I understand, but why make it your goal to rush the gens in 3 mins and then teabag at the gates? If you rush gens the killer doesn't get any points even if he kills you. You don't get as many points as you could. and queues are freaking long at red ranks so why not just enjoy the game? I understand if a killer starts camping you want to get the [b

  • a lot people have been saying he's weak. And yeah they're not wrong. But I feel after the devs fumble with The Twins last chapter making a two in one killer that could be used to a player's skill and thinking on what to do with one or the other flopped. I think they're moreso just focusing on this chapter just being fun in terms for the killer. But they also attempted to challenge players and

  • As you can see on these 2 picks, there’s 3 pallets that are few steps apart and this is why I don’t bother chasing survivors on these maps. Alone that you are forced to break 3 out of 4 walls at the saloon and a couple more on the other side of the map is 2-3 free gens for survivors and than you get these 3 pallet

  • I've had a ton of games where a red rank will dc while not nearly as many other ranks. Have other people noticed this? Shouldn't they automatically derank? It's often at the beginning if a team isn't doing as well as they want (like I hit a survivor before a gen is done)

  • I hate this map with a passion since it's rework as killer and besides Ormond this is probably the map with the least amount of kills per game for me. Good survivors will not start with the pocket gens where they often spawn but leave them for the end. Somehow they always manage to do 1 or even 2 gens in the middle near main building and destroy your 3 gen. The main building can be extremely str

  • So I just wanted to clear up a few unfinished archive challenges and stupidly decided to go for them solo. Here are my experiences 1) Me and another survivor start work on a generator in front of us at the start of the trial. Another survivor strangely takes offense to this and throws the teddy out of the cot, drops a pallet and fast vaults it over and over and over again until the killer comes

  • So, this last month I was watching a friend play dbd and once the last generator was done, a teammate was downed by Demogorgon in Springwood. This Demo put Meg on a hook in a street, in a corner made of some bushes and little concrete wall, next to a telephone cabin (if I remember it right) and stood up right in front of Meg. The thing is... since the hook was in a corner, thanks to the bushes ar

I haven't heard any of the Devs say they know about this issue and i've not heard anyone else mention it, am i the only one who notices?

  • Trickster is in no situation better than huntress. Huntress only has to hit you one time and she gets a health state, Trickster has to hit you 8 times with his knives which takes a long time. He still takes long to wind up his knives and they can be evaded by running tightly just like hatchets. If a survivor is far away his knives are useless because you can't hit them precisely because of unnec

  • Did anyone test to see if you are worse or better off when uncloaking on a survivors back? If you uncloak with live wraith while touching a survivors back, you will be just outside of lunge distance. They increased uncloak time to "make up" for the extra speed so is wraith now worse off when trying to catch survivors that see him or better off?
