Blocking is a very important strategy in Dead By Daylight, and this post is not to talk about that. This post instead talks about Killers using blocking to do things like hold survivors hostage in a corner. (Ie. This is what this game has become match after match I'm getting matched against high mmr bully squads they kept abusing head on perk to bully me but they couldn't' and I managed to kill all of them. To preface, the match was awful, 2 gens popped waaaaay too quickly at the start, and the survs were unusually aggressive. :') So I post this with a dash of salt but hoping to improve. 2 people were hooked and 2 were on gens. The final gen popped right after Kate was unhooked, and the Kate unhooked the Ace while I chased the Meg who unhooked Kate. I totally get the whole MMR thing behind not being able to switch killers while in a lobby waiting for the game to start. However, I really wish there was a way for us to be able to go to other killers and still spend bloodpoints while waiting. Just had 2 matches back to back that really did my head in with how awful this game can be. First was me getting miserably stomped at RPD as Legion. The group really wanted to send me there since they brought two RPD Badges. A few validated DHs (something I coulda swore was meant to be fixed) and a BNP later and I just gave up. I just sacrifice myself instead of escaping (if possible). I don't report them with video evidence because I am on console and can't be bothered to do it. If they made it easier for us I probably would. I dunno why so many survivors join in to bm the powerless killer along with the hacker. It is sad. I couldn't hit the survivor healing someone who was in the dying state. This happened TWICE! Is this some weird bug or were they cheating? Otherwise I didn't notice any signs of cheating during the game, so I believe this is some weird bug. Did something like this ever happen to you? I don't understand how players get archive rewards so quickly and reach high ranks. I already devote too much to the game, and I play 1-3 hours a day, and on weekends and more. Now I'm at level 40, in 10 days the archive will close and I won't receive the remaining rewards, on top of all this, I'm still not able to rise above the gold rank. Finally managed to complete the Saw Tome and receive my Reverse Bear Trap head cosmetic that I've been coveting for so long. Great cosmetic; will be using it with Pig moving forward. Why are flashlight saves from the side a thing? I mean I can be facing a wall and someone shines a torch at my ear and I still get stunned. It literally makes zero sense that having a torch shined at the side of your head would blind you. So I started playing DBD last month and playing only nurse when I play survivor. I lost few match cuz I had no idea how she works but after that I'm winning almost every match. First 2 week or so most survivors never look behind and just run forward or try to run around pallets while getting chase so I could hit them with a single blink. You know what make this game will be unbalanced no matter how far the patch released. Survivor will always have a meta perk : CoH, DS, DH, BT But killer will never have a meta perk, grind on killer is ridiculous, no matter you want to try a new killer you will always facing a meta perk survivor with DS,DH,BT. First and foremost, there is no "skill" accounted for in this SBMM. KIlls for killers=skill(not how quickly they ended chases, not how many different survivors they hooks, not how long they pressured gens, etc) Survivors escape=skill(Not how long they ran the killer, not how many flashlight saves they got, not how many people they helped wiggle off, not how many gens they completed/hook saves, et2 comments 41 views last activity
