I floated this idea like a year ago.
I think the consensus was something about some survivors becoming "meta" over others based on their unique skills (as if there isn't already sort of a survivor meta already (because who really plays Jake anyway XD)
I personally would love for each survivor to get something special that fits their personality and lore and differentiates them in-game

First off good question.. And before i answer your topic. I dont feel like keys or mori are op... Strong yes more so in right settings. But no.. With keys you have to do a number of gens before it even shows. Then u got to find it. And in the few years and ungodly hours i played. I can count on one hand someone keyed a hatch. As for mori there been times I could not find people or got to pressured to waste that 8 to 12 seconds to mori someone.... On otherside u know if some kilker is running it... And can play according... I feel that at start of game (of equal skilled players) its survior Oriented.. But longer game goes on it will go more tward killer.. As items pallets hook break wear out happen. Thanks....

Ruin has always been over rated. On both ends.. Its was not THAT hard to work through. And ill normally clean all totems before the second gen. (Bye noed too) And well as killer i find it much easier and worthwhile to control gens and make u gen lock. And u. Come to me. Its a useless perk in my eyes more so now....

Ranks can vary too. Sometimes red ranks are fast... sometimes they take so long you might as well play survivor. It's always been all over the place. Also, events/time of day/region. All factor in. If I get a game before 10minutes I am lucky. Sometimes it's waiting 20-30~ minutes and I am alt tabbed out doing other things in the meantime... You'll see streamers playing another game while waiting... lmao. It is what it is, sadly.
But ya. They are "fine tuning" it. So. There's that.
Regardless, you are not alone...

This is a game. Game balance should come before lore, or else I could say 'Have you seen ST? The Demogorgon should just kill Survivors the first time it downs them. It never carries someone to a hook.' or 'Freddy should just kill Survivors the moment they fall asleep.' or 'Bubba & Billy's chainsaws should insta-kill'

I feel he is still viable.. Its all about trap placement.. Windows loops pallets high traffic areas.. I placed traps in most visible areas some one gets caught and was like wait what???.... He does need a new mori.....

First As killer .... me + any hex = trash... They find them.. Then im out of a slot... Or i never get in the situation it calls for long enough for it to be viable... So thats why i dnt use them.. As survivior i feel a decent survivior can work through ruin. As some one peels off to find it. And break it leaving the killer down a slot. Actually my main swf group. We kill all the totems we see anyway.. Negating ruin and no-ed. Ya haunted ground hurts... So ya its a crutch in my opinion

Ok jest saying every perk every add on has a counter... Im not saying get good Neither. but with game experience you gain the knowledge on how to run a killer. And what to do when those pesky killers run meta. Personally i love it when a good player runs me or railroad me.it makes me learn maps better
