  • If I'm not looking at a locker, I shouldn't be able to interact with it. It freaking sucks when you're mashing space early on a tight loop and the locker is like "allow me to introduce myself"

  • Blight frequently hits the same area multiple times which drains his charges and gives him no distance. It's like getting stuck but worse because the game takes away your power meter. I think they need to change him so that everything within maybe 2m of his last slam loses collision just to prevent this. If that's even realistically possible to code, that is

  • Don't use Dead Hard unless it'll help you. If you get caught out of position and there's nowhere you can realistically make with Dead Hard, just don't use it. It can trick the Killer into thinking you don't have the perk later on. Or get you a couple extra seconds while the Killer tries to bait the Dead Hard.

  • I'm not sure why the Devs haven't created any meaningful incentives to use No Mither. Personally, I think there are two directions that the perk could be taken that would make it really, really good. Direction 1- No Mither is all about high risk/high reward. It comes with a built in +10% action speed bonus, which when combined with Resilience would give No Mither Survivors +19% global action sp

  • Huntress is a Killer that makes me so sad because she’s incredibly well designed and balanced in her base kit, but a lot of her add-ons make her feel awful to play against. The real fun ones are the Babushka, Infantry Belt, Iri Head and worst of all the ridiculous Exhaustion add-ons. I hate to say it but Huntress needs a Billy level rework to her add-ons to make them not very strong because her

  • If Distortion simply prevented all Killer Aura reading on the Survivor using it, would that even be overpowered? Honestly, I feel like it'd still be pretty niche. The most commonly run Aura perk is BBQ and having your Aura hidden every time it activates doesn't seem to me like it would compete with most of the meta perks for a slot. Some crazy stealth Blendette might get tons of value from th

  • Seems like people have had it done for weeks or are still stuck trying to finish it. Personally, I hit Rift Level 70 the day Level 4 of the Tome launched and honestly I thought there should've been more levels because I got everything done with weeks to spare. But other people seem to think the Rift is a daunting task and there's not enough time even if they do all the Tome challenges and everyth

  • What if there was a perk that tiered up while in chase similar to bloodlust BUT the stacks created a global gen slowdown for the other Survivors? Landing a hit would cause all stacks to disappear and it might take 5 seconds in chase for the stacks to start accumulating. The numbers for the slowdown could be pretty strong say maybe 10% per tier. Maxing out at three stacks. It sounds a little s

  • Looping with friends is super suboptimal because it gives the Killer the ability to pressure two Survivors simultaneously. The infinite Blood Pact 7% Haste will make great youtube videos and meme builds, but its not actually that strong. The perk is definitely good if you use it like a mini Sprint Burst so both Blood Pact Survivors have a head start when their generator inevitably gets interrupt

  • At Red Ranks, Killers will generally respect Decisive and go for someone else as long as there’s an Obsession in the match. Unless you’re a super easy down (i.e. farmed without BT or unhooked in a dead zone). So usually the threat of Decisive gets more value than actually running the perk. With the exception of making specific plays with it like trying to be chased after an unhook and hopping i

  • To be a strong solo Survivor you have to be well rounded. Because you never know what types of players you'll have on your team. If you run too specific of a playstyle, you can create more problems for your teams than solutions. Try to have a build that lets you blend playstyles so you can be what your team needs. A SWF that really grasps this concept might be able to get away with more dedic

  • Long Run When hit by the Killer, break into a sprint at 150% movement speed for 3 additional seconds. Causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds. Being hit by the Killer will always take a single health state while the perk is active. "This is just a warm-up lap right?"

  • Totems give massive amounts of bloodpoints, free healing and lots of emblem points. Honestly, its free real estate. I don't understand why Survivors will farm teammates for the 1200 bp from a save, but they can't be bothered to cleanse a totem for 1000 bp. Even hexes aren't a big deal and are hard to defend if you run totem counters like Detective's Hunch or Small Game. Plus, Hexes give a juicy

  • This Perk would belong to Janos Richter: Felix's Father. Savior In your darkest hour, you refuse to save yourself and chose to save another. Press the Active Ability button within 4m of another Survivor in the process of being Killed or Sacrificed to stop the process and return them to the Injured state. You immediately enter the Dying state and lose a hook state. If you are on your

  • https://youtu.be/-lMVyQr2BiM Just wanted to show a clip of what the Blood Pact 2.0 looks like in a game. It's pretty fun if you can stay with the Obsession. (David even plays a little sub-optimally by spinning when the Killer hits him, which gives us less distance). Seems a little bit like Sprint Burst now. Gives you good value, but only if you're willing to change your p

  • I have an idea for a major Decisive rework. Here it is: If you are downed within 30 seconds of being unhooked, Decisive Strike activates indefinitely until you are picked up. Succeeding a skill check allows you to stun the Killer for 5 seconds. This makes Decisive harder to abuse on both sides. Slugging and waiting it out doesn’t work anymore, but timer is halved so realistically the Killer sh

  • https://youtu.be/TeccAtqd5K8?t=74 We are scrapping the duration for the Haste effect and instead making it last indefinitely until the two Survivors are no longer within 16m of one another. I already loved the perk before too...

  • Desperate Measures is sort of the halfway point between We'll Make It and Borrowed Time. It helps when the Killer isn't camping because it increases healing speed. So you can get a decently fast heal after an unhook. It also helps in camping scenarios because the unhooking speed makes it nearly impossible to be grabbed. Also, spending less time in the animation lock gives both people more tim

  • If the Killer isn’t committing to chasing you, that’s a problem. Wether its from Sprint Burst, immersion, or just leaving gens super early, you’re hurting your team. Because if you’re not taking hook states, your other teammates are and the Killer can easily win by killing the final Survivor or even final Survivors on first hook. It’s important to recognize that you have to take chases every

  • Late night Survivor queues are long and the matchmaking is horrible. If you ever want the Rank 14 randoms to save you, Kindred is very worth the perk slot.

  • The game has no native voice chat and text chat has largely been disabled because of cross-play. Because of that getting hate messages is just really rare. Also, Survivors generally work together and aren't toxic to eachother because its in their best interest. The 4/5 of the players in the game have no real incentive to be anything but helpful to eachother. Basically, the only "toxic" interact

  • For me its Deathslinger and Hag, it’s just a really bad time even if I win because neither of those Killers really “chase.” They usually just camp and try to create deadzones where you can’t physically loop them because their powers make everything in the area unsafe

  • When a Survivor has a perk or map that can show them generator Auras, they should be able to see which generators are blocked by them being highlighted white just like Killers can. In the current version of the game, you'll see the generator auras all in red even when they're blocked. It would be a nice buff to Visionary, Deja Vu and Maps because you could soft counter Corrupt Intervention and

  • Hag is a super campy Killer and she gets the Decisive bug reliably. Is it wrong to feel like you have free reign to tunnel Survivors because its so easy with the bug?

  • Killers are extremely perk dependent. Having the right build will easily be the difference between a win or a loss and most of the best Killer perks are in DLC characters. Take my best Legion build for example: Blood Echo (Oni Perk, DLC character) Hex: Ruin (Hag Perk, DLC character on PC) Hex: Undying (Blight Perk, DLC character) Barbecue and Chili (Cannibal Perk, DLC character)

  • If you cleanse a hex that's not Undying, why doesn't the game tell you that Undying activated and moved it to another totem? I've had multiple games where I have no idea how many hexes the Killer actually has because I'm not aware that Undying is in play

  • This is on PC on the brand new bug fix patch. Felix is making noises while injured with Tier 3 Iron Will. It's been happening in multiple games through normal gameplay. Please look at this the perk is broken on him. Here's a video of him making noise despite having Iron Will 3: https://youtu.be/QqMThj5GGSA

  • They're basically the same concept, but Blight is a better execution. An M1 Killer with high mobility to get around the map and find chases. The difference is that Wraith's power is literally just mobility, while Blight's is much more versatile because its mobility and helps in chases. I bet in a speed run test Blight could see a Survivor on BBQ and zoom across the map to start a chase with the

  • To play dbd at a high level, you NEED to know totem spawns well. It amazes me how many times I end up being the one to take out Ruin or Devour because my teammates don't know how totem spawns work. Especially with the introduction of Hex: Undying, its just really clear to me that the Devs expect Survivors to know totems by now. So more people need to buckle up and spend the time learning the sp

  • I've been playing Felix a lot recently (I'm P3) and noticed that he seems a little bit on the quieter side for Survivors while running and while injured. It's kind of hard to gauge. Just wondering what other people's opinions are.

  • I understand that Survivors can’t be too different from eachother because if they had really meaningful differences there’d be a meta and stuff. But it would be cool to see each Survivor get a passive that increased their stats by like 1-2%. Nothing crazy, just as a slight nod towards their uniqueness. Like Ace has base 1% luck. Meg has base 1% speed. Feng has base 1% vault speed. Claudette h

  • The base self unhook rate drastically increases when the Survivor is in the Killer's Terror Radius. Maybe from like 4% to 24% or something. It would force Killers to actually leave hooks even when its optimal to camp... kind of like what Decisive Strike does. Adding a game mechanic to force the Killer to play suboptimally to encourage more interesting and fun to play against gameplay.

  • It's harder to punish Survivors for dropping pallets early than it is for looping them. If your first chase is a Survivor that plays extra safe and drops everything on the first go, you'll probably lose the entire game. The Survivors are more likely to finish all the gens than to actually get to a point in the game where wasting pallets actually matters.

  • I'm a P3 Felix main and I have to speak up about the tunneling that you get for playing him. Killers will literally chase you off hook and won't leave you until you're downed again. Like the desperation to kill Felix is insane, please ladies and gentleman keep your hands to yourself. Thank god I unlocked Decisive Strike early on. I've never needed it more than these past few days.

  • Hag does not get clean 4ks. She soft camps and slugs a lot. And because of her setup time she always loses generators early game.... especially since in you can't run Corrupt Intervention on Adept. I've been trying for a while. Getting a 4k with Hag isn't the issue, its getting a clean 4k that meets all the emblem requirements because Hag simply doesn't play that way. Chasing, map pressure and

  • I've seen lots of Survivors across all ranks (yes, even at Rank 1) who don't run exhaustion perks. I just don't get it. Exhaustion perks are probably the best perks to help extend chases and there's no real downside to running one of them. What's the mentality behind not using exhaustion? I'm generally curious

  • As a Killer, the entire way you play the game centers around generator locations. Ideally, you'll try to manipulate chases so Survivors stay near generators, which saves time for you when they're downed and increases the odds of the Survivor interrupting gens being worked on. But with Visionary, Survivors can do the reverse. They can see which map geometry doesn't have generators and intentiona

  • With the introduction of Hex: Undying, I just don't see the reason to run Retribution anymore. If you want a Hex perk to defend your Hex perks, Undying is best. Personally, I'd like to see some more Aura reveal baked into Retribution. First of all, I would like to see a brief Aura reveal when Survivors cleanse dull totems so it's possible to followup on the Oblivious status because right now th

  • I saw a Claudette that was stuck and I actually downed her and put her on a hook. I literally could've gotten a free win and left her there and not closed hatch and held the game hostage. But she teabagged me on the exit gate and went super tryhard after i saved her. Guess what I'm doing to the next person I see get stuck because of her?

  • Personally, I think Overcharge and Surge should both regress gens at 200% like Ruin. They're both underused gen regression perks and they should have some incentive to use instead of or with Pop.

  • Hex: Undying with Hex: Ruin and Surveillance. Tons of reliable gen pressure and map awareness. The last perk can be anything but probably BBQ (more map knowledge and bloodpoints) or Surge (only gen regression perk that combos well with Ruin and gives something to work with if the totems go down).

  • Generator slowdown is literally the most important thing in the game. Without perks like Corrupt, Pop and Ruin to regress progress and a perk like Discordance, BBQ or Thrilling to monitor where gens are being worked on it's actually GG. It's all fun and games until you try running Adept Killer challenges. Freddy is really strong, but without BBQ and Pop he goes from Easy Mode to Hard Mode real

  • Aside from Quick and Quiet, Any Meme Necessary and Trail of Torment, the majority of perks with a cooldown really don't need it or could have it drastically reduced. Blood Echo, Surge, Windows of Opportunity, Visionary, Deja Vu, Hope, Make Your Choice and even Dance With Me are probably fine with no cooldown at all or a trivial 5 second cooldown. So why are the purposely undertuned?

  • Both the Killer and Survivor have perks that will make it into my regular builds, which makes them very worthwhile for me. Regardless of how much I actually play the characters (Felix is a snack, but Blight's gameplay seems like a hot mess) Desperate Measures will fit well with my current staple: Iron Will+Dead Hard+Blood Pact. And Hex:Undying is extremely great with Hex:Ruin, which is one of

  • Imagine a little troll that can teleport between lockers across the map and hide in lockers to become undetectable. And do Surprise attacks similar to Head On. It would be super meme and funny and could probably actually be viable if it was balanced right. A locker teleporting Killer might have more map control then a Freddy or Demo actually
