Desperate Measures can be better than BT
Desperate Measures is sort of the halfway point between We'll Make It and Borrowed Time.
It helps when the Killer isn't camping because it increases healing speed. So you can get a decently fast heal after an unhook.
It also helps in camping scenarios because the unhooking speed makes it nearly impossible to be grabbed. Also, spending less time in the animation lock gives both people more time to make distance. Especially if the hook is right near a vault or pallet. So if you take a hit you don't necessarily immediately go down because you're both out of the unhooking animation before the Killer is done with their weapon recovery.
Desperate Measures is also makes BT and We'll Make It better so doing a combo with one of them can be really strong as well

I think alot of people will just run perks that only grant second chances tbh :/
A build I had fun with was Desperate Measures, Kindred, Self Care, and BT.
