The most basic and broadly applicable Killer skill in DBD is being able to chase well with a 115%, M1 Killer. Killers like Legion, Wraith, Ghost Face, Pig, Oni, Twins, Blight, Myers and Trapper literally require this skill to be effective. If you think any of those Killers are weak, you might want to brush up on your fundamentals. You gotta learn mindgames, how to expect and bait exhaustion11 comments 351 views last activity

In general, I don’t tilt in my DBD matches and switching to this game as my main has lowered my blood pressure and stress levels. What’s so different about this game? DBD is has built in damage control. So even when my Survivor teammates are hot garbage, I can still play well and farm enough points to avoid de-ranking or sometimes even rank up. Being a good player will almost always reward yo7 comments 101 views last activity

If you have more than 1000 hours in this game, you should know 95% of the totem spawns. There's really no excuse other than being lazy. If you can learn the typical pallet and generator spawns, you can learn the dam totem spawns. I know running around the map is a lot of work instead of holding M1 in place, but its possible I guarantee you. As a Rank 1 Legion main, a lot of people don't understand Legion very well. Here are my biggest tips to winning games: Killer Instinct from Frenzy is EXTREMELY good for choosing which Survivors you want to chase. Legion can easily tunnel out kills because it's impossible to immerse against them. A strong strategy is to hit someone that you have no intention of committing to in order to find23 comments 321 views last activity

Distortion would be a really solid perk if it was on a cooldown. Something like this: Whenever the Killer reads your Aura, Distortion activates. Unless it is on cooldown. Your Aura and scratch marks are not revealed for 5 seconds. Cooldown is 60 seconds. The duration is balanced around the fact that perks like I'm All Ears and Hex: Undying have 6 seconds of Aura reading. So they w6 comments 91 views last activity

Didn't think it was possible. But it happened for the first time today. I don't even wanna know how those two events happening is even possible.... like there should be no code in the game files that allows that to happen.4 comments 61 views last activity

All current Killers are controlled by the Entity and follow its bidding. Why isn’t there a Killer that retains their free will and independent motives? From a game mechanic and lore perspective. The concept seems possible and actually pretty interesting.4 comments 111 views last activity

I play Deathslinger a decent amount and at Rank 1. He's a good Killer, don't get me wrong. But why does he consistently miss hits when he's dragging people to windows? Sometimes it feels like you have to spend the entire time dragging them as close as physically possible to the widow and swing at the very last second before the chain breaks to be sure you'll get the hit.... and it still misses2 comments 81 views last activity

Dead Hard helps me out so many times when I make a mistake like running into a wall, misjudging a distance or straight up losing track of the Killer mid-chase. I wish I could say I use the perk in a really smart way but usually it's just the duck tape that holds my janky looping together.27 comments 371 views last activity

I haven't seen them in the past two weeks in the around 75-100 games I played at Rank 1-2. Did the Devs disable the Twins or something? What happened to them?16 comments 241 views last activity

Licensed character sweaters are only available for auric cells and never for shards. Plus, you can unlock cosmetics even if you don't have the character unlocked yet. So in the future when you might get Cheryl, you'll have the sweater ready to go. It's code Metatron btw0 comments 111 views last activity

Just interested in knowing. Doesn't have to be P3, any prestige level is cool. Gives everyone an idea of how dedicated people are to certain Survivors. Mine are Cheryl (P3), Jake (P3), Steve (P3), Felix (P3), Quentin (P2) and Yui (P1)44 comments 342 views last activity

I had a game with an AFK Wraith and was afraid of de-ranking... so I was able to use Spine Chill in a similar way to Whispers to triangulate where he was. Completely invisible and hadn't moved all game. Just kept walking in different directions until the perk deactivated and coming back to an established center point to try again. Farmed up stealth pip points to avoid the de-rank once I found h3 comments 161 views last activity

Endgame collapse can happen without the gates being open and Blood Warden needs endgame collapse to be used... so shouldn't the perk cause the endgame collapse to happen regardless of if the Survivors have 99'd the gates or not? Maybe like 60 seconds after the last generator finishes the collapse starts automatically? Idk it feels like that should be how Blood Warden works it would make the perk7 comments 141 views last activity

Killers like Demo, Blight, Bubba, Doctor, Wraith, Nurse, Billy and Pig are so fun to play against... but most of the time the people playing these guys don't know what they're doing. It's so sad because I always escape those matches knowing that the person playing the fun Killer is probably gonna swap to Deathslinger, Spirit or Freddy next match.7 comments 241 views last activity

People sometimes forget that a lot of what makes many Killers strong is exploiting mechanics in a way that probably wasn't part of the Devs original design concept. Hag/Twins- Using your power to essentially face camp while multitasking the other Survivors. Spirit- Standing still for free hits because Survivors can't tell when you're using your power. I just had a match where I basement camped a Cheryl as Hag. She had a med-kit and I brought Franklins. The Cheryl went struggle on first hook and decided to DC when I came back for her later on in the match. I felt a little bit bad about it... until I looked at her build at the end of the match. Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, Soul Guard and Dead Hard with a two heal med-kit. She deserved it. N11 comments 101 views last activity

Victor now causes the exhausted status when he's attached to Survivors. Victor also has a Knockout effect when he downs Survivors so their Auras aren't automatically revealed to everyone. Victor can vault and his pounce breaks breakable walls. There are some maps where Victor gets completely shut down and you have to switch back to Charlotte because the loop requires a vault or a wall broken3 comments 41 views last activity

This is just from the my experiences how often I see specific Killers in Red Ranks. Maybe people's experiences are different on other ranks and in different servers. Let me know what you agree with and disagree with. I just had a game where a Survivor that hit me with Decisive Strike AND got pallet saved tried to tell me they got "tunneled." If a Survivor has TONS of second chances, they can't exactly say they were tunneled because they had plenty of opportunity to recover and they wasted the most of my time in the match. It's kind of like the people that run at you with BT or insta-hop in lockers with DS.9 comments 171 views last activity

Nerf the stun duration of Decisive Strike to 3 seconds like Head On. And introduce a new Survivor perk that increases all Killer stuns by 1 second. Call it something like Salt in the Wound. So Decisive Strike has the Power Struggle problem, where it’s only optimal as part of a combo. So you can’t stack it with as many of other meta perks.22 comments 301 views last activity

He's supposed to be stealthy but on most maps (aside from a couple indoor ones like Midwhich, Hawkins, Lerys and the Game). the way you have to play him like everyone knows exactly what you're doing... because they can see you from 30 miles away. It's funny how the make or break of the one of the stealth killers isn't whether they see you, but whether you can avoid being broken out of stealth12 comments 251 views last activity

When Spirit misses a swing coming out of her power, there's no extra fatigue or anything. She can just swing again. If Spirit was balanced like Legion, she'd lose all her remaining power meter and have a four second fatigue for missing.24 comments 261 views last activity

Surge, Pop, Oppression, Overcharge. When a generator starts regressing with one of these perks, it should be at the Ruin standard of 200%. If you're running dedicated regression perks, the gens shouldn't be regressing at the laughable base speed. I said what I said.26 comments 431 views last activity

Landing Victor’s pounce is very similar to landing a close range hatchet with Huntress. The hitbox is smaller and more directional than a standard M1 lunge attack. PC Survivors can spin like crazy to take advantage of that, so its much easier to mess up. Console Survivors, however, usually don’t have the sensitivity to do crazy spins so they get hit much easier. So pro tip for Twins players. Re13 comments 231 views last activity

Both of them are some of the oldest perks in the game and have only had quality of life changes, staying virtually untouched in over 4.5 years. They're not crazy good, they're not crazy bad and they happen to have synergy together, but are still fine by themselves. They're just generally useful and I'd argue they have always been some of the most balanced perks in the game. Nothing else in this18 comments 371 views last activity

Why doesn't it make the Obsession and the Blood Pact person heal eachother faster? Seems like something that should've always existed because the perk is centered around those two Survivors healing eachother.3 comments 61 views last activity

The game is unbalanced because Killer has a much higher skill cap than Survivor. You have to understand the macro-level map pressure, chase juggling and hook pressure. But also the micro-level interactions with 1v1 chase, map design and different perk interactions. Not to mention using the specific killer power, which can change drastically depending on who you're trying to learn. Killer is a s104 comments 7,831 views last activity

Tunnel out someone early and aggressively three gen. It seems to me like most Killers have given up on the concept of map pressure and just want to guarantee kills and game stall with the least amount of skill in chase as possible46 comments 2,381 views last activity

Stage 1- Default or cheap recolors only. Cosmetics are a waste of money. Stage 2- Prestige or other blendy outfits. I play this game so much I want to look nice. But I don’t want the Killer to see me a mile away. Stage 3- The Zarina onesie gives me life and I’m running Object so the Killer can see my outfit in all its glory. Some Survivors and Killers have perks that are so bad I never want them to pollute other characters bloodwebs. I've leveled them up and sometimes even prestiged them without ever touching the teachable. Here are those perks for both roles. Legion’s Frenzy animation still looks a little bit off, but I can catch up to Survivors like normal and can chain hits again. I won games at Rank 1 like normal when I took Leg for a test run earlier today. Legion is playable again if you’re alright with adjusting to some visual bugs. The power does fundamentally work again4 comments 81 views last activity

At the beginning of the match, most Killers do "competence check" chases with different Survivors. The goal is to try to interrupt early gen progress and spread pressure before committing. During these early chases, Killers generally get a feel for the stronger loopers and the weaker ones. If a good Killer is hard committing to you early on, they've picked you out as a weak link and plan on sof6 comments 161 views last activity

When Zarina was younger, she wanted to appear more mainstream so she went by the name Karina and dyed her hair lighter. Look at that? Zarina is blonde is her penguin onesie outfit, which mentions she wore it at home in the past when she still lived with her parents. Super nice touch. Freddy isn't too strong, he's just too easy. Here's the best way to nerf him: Freddy gets a 10 second cooldown on his generator teleporting each time he hooks a Survivor. The swing chain and jump rope add-ons are reworked. And finally, the amount of time it takes for Survivors to passively fall asleep is increased from 60 seconds to 90 seconds.0 comments 41 views last activity

I haven’t run Decisive consistently since the Silent Hill chapter at red ranks and I haven’t missed it. Decisive only really gets used most of the time at this point when you’re playing reckless and trying to force it. And once that becomes your default playstyle, you mistakenly think the perk is a necessity. Kind of like Killers with Shadowborn/BBQ addiction. Or Survivors with exhaustion perk40 comments 702 views last activity

As long as you have a rockin' med-kit and a toxic map offering, you really don't need perks to escape on Survivor.4 comments 791 views last activity

If a Killer is hardcore facecamping, there are very few ways to do anything about it. There's Leader, Desperate Measures, Deliverance+Decisive Strike+Unbreakable, letting a teammate get grabbed or just letting a teammate die.37 comments 581 views last activity

First of all, Ace and Kate are two of the most naturally quiet Survivors without Iron Will, which gives them a tangible in-game advantage over the rest of the cast. But more importantly they're also the Survivors that have spent the longest amount of time in the entity's realm. Kate and Ace both strongly seem to be from the 1960s to 1970s. Kate has a traditional "hippie" vibe and her lore menti18 comments 951 views last activity

Honest question. I think the oldest Survivor based on the time period that they were taken is probably Kate or Ace. And they're still probably around the 1960s-1970s.20 comments 292 views last activity

Cyberpunk 2077 is an extremely anticipated game thats been in development for 7+ years. And they delayed the release very last minute by 21 days to bug fix and optimize it in order for a Day 1 patch to make sure it had a solid launch. I've been playing with it today and I keep having weird things happen with it. Does the perk work consistently for most people? I want to know if I'm messing it up and getting locker sucked because I'm bad or if its genuinely bugged. Like most Survivors, I button mash when I want to do an action so maybe I'm just subconsciously pressing the button multiple times idk9 comments 361 views last activity

The lighting is so inconsistent especially at loop tiles. As Survivor you already have enough to worry about while looping, it shouldn't feel like my monitor turns off whenever there's a shadow. The only reason Autohaven is even playable for me right now is because I have the tiles somewhat memorized. As Killer, I walked into a pre-thrown pallet once because I literally couldn't see it and though8 comments 221 views last activity

The Killer is bugged, the Survivor is bugged. Pretty much every new perk is bugged. I was so excited to try Deception and got Elodie with shards for it... only to find out that the perk is bugged and locker sucks you more than it fakes. Power Struggle is also not working most of the time. And Appraisal is in this weird balance between being decent the the Devs trying to nerf it so no one knows0 comments 51 views last activity

Over the course of my gameplay, I’ve tried pretty much every Killer, even ones I initially thought I wouldn’t like. And I realized something: The most fun Killers are the ones that have the most control of chases and the biggest opportunities to outplay Survivors at loops or avoid them entirely. I cruise through my games with Deathslinger, Spirit, Legion, Hag, Blight and Pyramid Head. And I kn17 comments 531 views last activity

I had a game where there was a relatively early DC (because I was playing Deathslinger). I hooked everyone in order, let them heal, do a couple gens and played super fair. I even let someone escape out the hatch. And guess what I still got Merciless Killer even at Rank 1. Moral of the story is that if you semi-farm after there's a DC.
