I'm Rank 1 on both roles. The way I find motivation to play the game is by outsmarting people and getting inside their heads. Killers won't chase me because they learn its not worth it or they'll go on the most costly chase of the game that allows multiple gens and unhooks to happen. Survivors try to flashlight click me, bodyblock and dumb tech... until they realize im not a 4head and the entir2 comments 71 views last activity

When my Third Seal was cleansed on Thompson House during a Freddy match, the tokens did not transfer over and it went back to 1 token. This is inconsistent with the recent change that says Undying transfers tokens when another Hex is broken. Notice the four stacks of BBQ and only one stack of Third Seal on Freddy despite having Undying.0 comments 21 views last activity

The Open Handed buff was confirmed in the Dev Update talk, but not on the PTB. Since it's mostly a numbers buff, I bet they could just bring it straight to Live. It's not unheard of either since it happened with the Discordance change last mid-chapter.6 comments 111 views last activity

There are only three real reasons I can think of for DBD to not have voice acting and all of them are weak. 1- They don't want the characters to have to be recorded in multiple languages because its expensive and time consuming. ANSWER- The characters speak their native language based on where they live in their lore regardless of what language version you are playing. 2- The existing12 comments 201 views last activity

I just had a Ghost Face game where a Felix brought a Haddonfield offering. He had Balanced Landing, Decisive Strike, Unbreakable and Borrowed Time. The game was painful but I managed to kill everyone. The ending with the Felix was long Haddonfield chase into balanced landing into hook bomb with BT into slugging the Felix to get his BT save into his Unbreakable into another balanced landing Hadd19 comments 351 views last activity

Clown is one of the worst Killers because of his lack of map mobility and relatively one-note weak power. Not to mention his sound effect that tells Survivors when he's vaulting to remove a lot of mindgames. The rework ignored this problems and gave him another option for his power. It feels like if Freddy had gotten a rework to add his dream pallets to his kit instead of coming with two option10 comments 202 views last activity

There's no way this stuff hits. I don't care that the Devs said they "fixed" it. Having a Killer with high ping should hurt them for having a bad connection not help them. https://youtu.be/2MJJzKhZ0jM5 comments 121 views last activity

I know that Nea's Graff-Crafter outfit was able to be mixed and matched due to a bug in a summer. A decent amount of people wore the red hair from the locked set in other cosmetics. Did that bug stay after they patched it? Or did it revert back to normal. Trying to find out how permanent the new cosmetic bug will be based on the previous one.1 comments 41 views last activity

First of all, I like that the Devs told us their idea for Object ahead of time so we could give some feedback. I don't think the making the Aura reveal function of the perk Obsession specific is healthy because it turns too RNG based. The perk simply wouldn't be worth it if you got unlucky and weren't the Obsession. My suggestion would be that triggering a loud noise effect would reveal your0 comments 11 views last activity

First of all, I interpret the nerf to only include actions YOU perform. So in regards to healing, you can still be healed, you just can’t heal anyone else without deactivating the perk. Overall, I think the nerf is smart because it makes Decisive Strike cost the time it can potentially buy. It can greatly extend your chase and time in a match if you get tunneled, but it can also be a massive sl15 comments 541 views last activity

Brutal Killer with quality Survivors that actually know how to loop and play the game. SWF is actually preferred. If I’m running a Killer like Legion, I don’t even care if I get a kill that much. Getting 7-8 hooks against good Survivors and a ton of Frenzy Hits is totally fine as long as I don’t de-rank. Unless the Survivors do something to piss me off, then they’re getting a toxic slugfest 4k.0 comments 21 views last activity

The Killer is teleported to the other side of the map by the entity immediately after hooking a Survivor. Same concept as Pyramid Head's cages except the Killer teleports instead of the Survivor. Discourages three gens as well because the Killer can't keep in the same area all game. Honestly, if this change happened it would naturally weaken Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike to the point where12 comments 101 views last activity

I feel like 2020 was when the design team really stepped up and made some cool characters. Zarina, Cheryl, Felix and Elodie are all some of my favorite Survivors. They all have unique backstories and super cool cosmetics. I feel like it will be hard to have a better year for Survivors16 comments 171 views last activity

Legendary Skins are $15, which is three times the price of the base Survivor/Killer. Plus, they're also supposed to be completely different characters with different backstories. Why not give them an unique perk you get from unlocking the skin? Gives us more content. Gives the Devs more money. Win/Win15 comments 171 views last activity

Feral Frenzy's tracking lets you pick which Survivors you want to chase. You can use it to intentionally ignore people. If you can tell someone is a tryhard meta perk flashlight clicker, you can use Frenzy to have them sellout where their weaker teammates are hiding. The easiest way to counter someone with DS/Unbreakable/DH/IW is to one hook them at the end of the game when all their teammates32 comments 411 views last activity

Survivors and Killers both get in a routine of running the same exact build... even if its not actually as optimal as it could be. They usually just run the same thing over and over. So here's my advice: try occasionally experimenting with swapping out perks in your build for alternatives to see how much you miss them and how good the new builds end up being. On my Legion build, I became real9 comments 131 views last activity

Sole Survivor and Mettle of Man have no interaction with the Obsession Mechanic, but they create an Obsession anyway. Why not have the Devs just tack on the Obsession Mechanic to a bunch of random perks for no apparent reason because having an Obsession in the game decreases tunneling? There are six Survivor Obsession Perks and three of them are from the same Survivor's teachables and were re4 comments 61 views last activity

As a Survivor you have three options when you load into a match, Run Decisive Strike and risk having a dead perk slot because it doesn't come into play every game even when you try to force it. Run another Obsession perk to make sure the Killer thinks someone has Decisive. There are very few options and a lot of them also run into the inconsistency problem. Lets you hit struggle because they’re walking to conserve Sprint Burst. Uses their Dead Hard at the last second to make sure you don’t hit struggle. (Number 1 is getting left to die on hook, Number 2 is getting a friend request)18 comments 231 views last activity

There are two fundamental approaches to the game as Survivor Immerse and win slowly over time because the Killer wastes so much time looking for Survivors that they can't pressure everyone enough to stop the gens from eventually finishing. Aggressively focus on generators, split up and take chases because you're confident time is on your side and the Killer cannot get downs at a rate to keep1 comments 21 views last activity

An exhaustion perk that gives a straight up stat boost and doesn't need to be activated in exchange for causing permanent exhaustion. Here are some ideas for perks that follow this model. Lucky Break is actually really good after it got a shadowbuff awhile ago. It prevents blood trails for 180 seconds and the timer resets every time you are fully healed or hooked. So unless you're playing against a plague or legion and never heal it prevents blood trails, which is pretty sold especially with Iron Will. I just wish the Devs would update the perk description officially so more p1 comments 61 views last activity

Bad Killers don't play like Good Killers but bad. They have no map pressure. Avoid chases and try to get as many free hits as possible, which they usually achieve by camping. It feels like they want to play the game without actually playing the game. None of this will ever make them better. And it doesn't really seem like they care. I used to largely avoid this by playing Red Ranks, but since9 comments 221 views last activity

Sprint Burst discourages committing to chase with the Survivor(s) that have it and wastes their time in the process if they make distance and the Killer simply leaves them. Running Sprint Burst is the perfect way to have two teammates dead before you've even been hooked once against a Killer that knows what they're doing. It really does encourage optimal gameplay.8 comments 171 views last activity

All of Dwight's perks are somewhat underrated because they're not super flashy but Leader is by far the one that's the most underrated. It comes into play literally every game. Whether its Being healed faster. Helping double heal faster. Or the ultra rare triple heal. Being picked up off the floor faster. Getting unhooked faster to easily take the BT hit and/or prevent the grab. Openi29 comments 701 views last activity

Honest question. I feel like Decisive Strike could potentially be a lot more balanced if you had to choose between it and Unbreakable. Just add a line to the end of Decisive Strike's description that says "You are unable to recover fully from the dying state without the help of another Survivor" Nerf the synergy, not the core idea behind either perk. That's what happened with Undying and I t13 comments 251 views last activity

The placement of the information in the new HUD is terrible. That's almost universally agreed upon by streamers and normal players alike. If the HUD goes through with no changes despite the glaringly obvious feedback. I'll probably just take a break from the game for awhile. I don't want to play in an off-brand discord call where I can't monitor the information in the game quickly and efficient0 comments 61 views last activity

At a certain point, there’s no reason to heal against Myers because you know he’s stalked enough to have Tier 3 at 99%. I had a game where everyone made the same realization and just pretended the Myers was a Legion. I felt kinda bad. He ended up finally popping Tier 3 at the exit gate just to prove that he had it. No one healed, we all had Dead Hard, Myers had no power. Honestly, it was kind o10 comments 151 views last activity

Second Wind needs to be like Aftercare, where you simply need to finish a teammate heal to activate the perk. The 1 full health state requirement is what makes the perk unusable. There are so many scenarios where you only get a partial heal and have the perk sitting in limbo, which is just frustrating and makes it much more difficult to use then you would expect.1 comments 71 views last activity

I just played a game that ended at five gens and wanted to give the last Survivor hatch. But she was immersed so I tabbed out standing next to the hatch cause I couldn't find her. When I came back to check the game, the fifth generator popped. The poor thing was so scared of my terror radius that she did all five gens by herself and escaped through the gates instead of taking hatch. First tim5 comments 151 views last activity

Most of my friends on DBD play at night, so if it's at night I'm usually in a SWF. If I'm playing during the day, it's usually solo queue Survivor or Killer... so Killer is usually my choice.5 comments 251 views last activity

These are my three best perk ideas. I always want the new DLCs to have perks strong enough to compete with the existing competition. I feel like all of these do. Step 1. Tunnel someone straight off hook, pick them up and find out they don't have Decisive. It's impossible for the Survivors to come back from that early of a kill. Never lost a game where that happens it's comparable to having a green mori before they nerfed them. EDIT: I'm talking about the scenario where its the first Survivor and they don't have BT or DS. And go down relatively quick.31 comments 531 views last activity

Bloodpoints aren’t enough incentive to grind up to Rank 1 especially since they’re resetting everyone to Rank 20 every month. There’s a massive disconnect going on with the Devs because the dedicated players are the ones who have the least need for bloodpoints since they have most things they want maxed out already. Give us an exclusive piece cosmetic each month for hitting Rank 1 that we can6 comments 51 views last activity

I think DBD should have doors that are complete line of sight blockers that swing open when a Killer or Survivor interacts with them. I could see them working really well on indoor maps so you can have long stretches of walls with no visibility but instead of being the great wall of china they have doors that can be flung open. It could also be added on jungle gym tiles on open maps to give s6 comments 231 views last activity

Add this line to the end of the Decisive Strike description. "If you are the Obsession, you cannot recover from the dying state without the help of another Survivor." It actually gives a real downside to using the perk and fixes some overpowered synergy problems. Decisive Strike already doubles your odds of being the Obsession, but the Devs could change it so it increases your odds so high8 comments 151 views last activity

Ruin is probably the strongest gen regression perk at high tiers of play. If Killers were able to have repeat perks, they'd probably bring two Ruins and an Undying. And if Undying didn't exist they'd probably just bring three Ruins. Undying is strong, sure. But if Ruin didn't exist I don't think anyone would be complaining about it or using it that much9 comments 191 views last activity

The map is literally thermoptic camo and the corn is even more awful to see through than before. The maps turn into reskins of Shelter Woods because they have tons of dead zones and little cover because the corn was toned down too much. Survivors are all about teamplay and have lots of healing and generally support oriented perks. The strongest healing perks in the game Desperate Measures and Botany Knowledge are from an Architect and a Bookworm.
