Since Hag has been released, mechanics to prevent camping with a Killer's Power (i.e. Pyramid Head's dissolving trails near gens, gates and hooks) and power use cooldowns (Spirit, Blight, Pyramid Head, Legion, Twins etc.) Maybe Hag should get updated a little bit?101 comments 1,381 views last activity

Trickster’s Main Event is lackluster. We all know it. Compared to the other charge up powers like Blood Fury, Corrupt Purge and Tier 3 it doesn’t really compete at all. I have an idea in mind, but I’d also love to hear others ideas if they’ve thought of how they’d alter Main Event. Here’s the idea. Scrap the entire mechanics for the current version. Main Event causes a loud beat drop that mak4 comments 21 views last activity

If you play well, don't tunnel, get a lot of hooks and accidentally let the entire SWF team escape... you still get like 28k points and get brutal Killer so you don't derank :)0 comments 21 views last activity

The counterplay to Smash Hit is respecting pallets and playing safe, which opens up tons of opportunity to greed with Dead Hard. The counterplay to Dead Hard is to play aggressive and expect greedy plays/fakes, which opens up tons of opportunities for Smash Hit. If you've got the room for two exhaustion perks, I'd recommend trying it. Smash Hit + Dead Hard is very unexpected and even if the Kil0 comments 71 views last activity

If you land a Decisive Strike stun, the Killer has to down you four times instead of three. Which heavily increases your odds of being the last Survivor who gets hatch. Especially since there's a high chance that the person that uses Decisive is the only one who brought it. I would love to see these stats if they separated exit gate and hatch escapes. Sprint Burst. Press E while walking to activate 2 seconds of haste. The pause from walking and the lack of Invincibility Frames would make the timing different from Dead Hard but it would be similar. Smash Hit. 4 seconds of haste after dropping a pallet. Head On. Make no sound while entering a locker with the perk active. Basically give it Quick and Quiet built in. Balanced. Why do they focus so much on the fact that Sprint Burst gives them a head start in chases so they can get from their generator to a safe tile? I run Object all the time and I used to run Spine Chill. Heck sometimes you don’t even need a perk slot to guess the Killer will make a beeline to your gen. If you know the Killer is coming to you, its possible to leave a generator 3-5 seconds early to g7 comments 211 views last activity

Sprint Burst generally can't be used mid-chase and the Killer can choose to avoid you after you use it. This generally leads to teammates dying early because the hook states aren't being balanced and wastes your perk slot. Lithe can be suboptimal at a lot of loops. Hitting a vault multiple times is efficient and saves pallets. Lithe can discourage you from staying at a strong loop because you w27 comments 441 views last activity

Feral Frenzy is really underrated for its tracking. Legion players got a ton of knowledge on what generators are being worked on and where everyone is even if they cancel their power and commit to a chase. It's sort of like having BBQ or Infectious Fright information more often. Now imagine if Feral Frenzy just came with Killer Instinct by default. No chain requirement to activate it. If you can tell a Survivor is extremely good at looping from your first chase, just leave and ignore them the rest of the game. Works wonders because they start to tilt and play worse. Very demoralizing being the best player on the team and watching your teammates go down quickly while you're ignored. Puts them in their place. It's a 1v4. You don't have to be better than all four. The Twins nerf didn't destroy them or anything. It just added mechanics that make them feel worse to play with additional slowdowns and animations that didn't need to be there. When will the Devs learn that these types of nerfs are unhealthy for the game? If the goal of a nerf is to make the Killer weaker, I can understand. But with Billy and Twins the nerfs didn't really accomplish much balanc3 comments 91 views last activity

Right now Survivors usually spawn far away from the Killer and near gens. So the beginning of the game tends to be more slow paced and stealth oriented. Plus the lack of early map pressure tends to allow multiple generators to finish before all four Survivors have even seen the Killer. I've always felt that was an odd choice for a horror game. I think it would be more exciting and probably more2 comments 61 views last activity

RE is a massive license for DBD and it’s Chapter 20 as well the game’s 5th anniversary. The Devs really should be pulling out all the stops here. Multiple Survivors and even multiple Killers could totally happen. Who’s to say we won’t get two classic characters and two village characters for example?4 comments 171 views last activity

Trickster has two core issues. Issue 1 - His time to down is atrocious and Survivors at high laceration can buy time by abusing his 110 speed to delay hits for ridiculous amounts of time since he doesn't gain bloodlust from the knives. This is compounded by the fact Survivors can lose laceration while in chase and while running. Issue 2 - His power ignores most loops in the game similar to12 comments 351 views last activity

Object gives you a lot of information. What it traded for in direct Killer positioning information, it gained in the ability to discern Killer perks/add-ons. It's also a lot more subtle in less in your face so it doesn't bug the Killers as much or give them reasons to tunnel you. You just sort of know things because you run this perk and its really nice if you can play around that knowled2 comments 71 views last activity

I was worried that the Devs were gonna keep the Victor nerf when they changed the sucessful pounce cooldown from 3 to 5 seconds BUT they saved it. "Victor can now move during the successful pounce cooldown" Thank god they saved my child. They're slowing down his slugging potential with the cooldown but making it harder to kick him if he actually plays well and lands pounces.18 comments 271 views last activity

I know she’s a brand new character from the brand new game so she’s not as iconic as other options from resident evil. But from a promo standpoint on Capcom’s end I could see it happening because she’s one of the main characters from Resident Evil 8 and they want people to buy their new game. Behavior likes to make their Killers distinct. And a nearly 10 foot tall dommy mommy would definitely st59 comments 891 views last activity

I really think that hook grabs are more unfun and face camper promoting than they’re worth. If a Survivor is being camped, there should always at least be the option to hook trade. You could still hit someone while unhooking or cancel an unhook if you’re quick and they’re injured. It wouldn’t be a game breaking change against good Killer players and it would help a lot to make the most unfun80 comments 1,413 views last activity

Makes more sense thematically cause you only have to do four gens to get most of the team out. What not just introduce and item called the "backup generator" that decreases gens by 1. Killer isn't fun. It gets worse and worse the higher you rank up. Playing a weak Killer against top tier Survivors is literally a machoistic bully simulator. So why do most people play it? Bloodpoints. When you're good at Killer you can realistically get 28-32k points every game plus all four BBQ Stacks without doing literally anything or having to play around the perk at all for +100%. 56k to26 comments 451 views last activity

I thought about it and literally every Trickster add-on being default wouldn't make him overpowered. Piercing Blades, Bouncing Blades, Super High Throw Rate, 7 Knives to Down, 85 ammo, Survivors at Max Laceration are Exposed, Consecutive Blades Give Bonus Damage, Faster Movement Speed While Holding Knives. He could have it all. And would still be laughable compared to Blight, Spirit, Huntress1 comments 61 views last activity

Even though they lived with different parents, Dane was Meg’s biggest fan and showed up to every track meet to cheer her on. The eight knives to down is a design choice for Trickster. He holds four knives in both hands in all promotional material that shows the knives in detail. So its a probably considered a fundamental part of his base kit and can never changed.0 comments 71 views last activity

If DBD ever got a 2v8 mode, Legion would easily become S tier. Feral Frenzy is amazing for injuring Survivors but leaves Legion with only M1 basic attacks to down. But if they could be paired with Killers that have more lethal powers... Imagine the potential with Twins/Legion, Stridor Spirit/Legion, Nurse/Legion, Blight/Legion or Huntress/Legion. It could be disgustingly good.2 comments 81 views last activity

New Lucky Break is the opposite of Iron Will, Dead Hard and Resilience. It discourages staying injured and encourages immediately healing, which in a lot of cases is a suboptimal playstyle at least at high level.26 comments 361 views last activity

Honestly, the Rift is a total steal. I play a decent amount and I fully complete every tome for max rift fragments. It's basically a reward for dedicated players playing the game and you can just keep using the same $10 that you get back to buy the next one. People can complain the Rift is lackluster or grindy, but it does have great value there's no denying that. The only Rift I didn't complet6 comments 111 views last activity

I have noticed when a lot of Killers lose hard they blame gen speeds more than anything else. Unless someone brought a BNP or something, gen speeds are the Killer's fault just as much as the chases. It's just that a lack of map pressure is less upfront to them and their chases are the part of the game they can directly see. Quick chases don't matter if they're away from generators and other Sur21 comments 371 views last activity

I understand Trickster blades decaying on injured people because they can be one tap and have no options to fix it. But I feel like Trickster’s blades staying on healthy people indefinately would give him some slight map pressure sort of like Ghost Face where you can slowly build up stalk meter for later sometimes6 comments 81 views last activity

Just an observation, Tricksters tend to camp and tunnel really hard. And Yun-Jin seems like the next Nea: lots of flashlight clicking, bright outfits and usually planning on bullying the Killer.0 comments 61 views last activity

Trickster doesn't actually have any counterplay. In fact, I would argue that Trickster has one of only powers in the game that can guarantee downs on every tile regardless of Survivor skill (or their ability to pre-drop pallets). The reason Trickster is weak is because his eight knife requirement makes his chases take two million years sometimes, which can be so time inefficient that he quickly l10 comments 261 views last activity

Main Event is like Oni's Power where it can be used at any time once it is fully charged. Main Event has no slowdown and Trickster still moves at 110. Laceration doesn't decay at all or it takes an extremely long time to decay (30 seconds per blade min)3 comments 51 views last activity

Trickster's power is so mediocre that he NEEDS perks to get anything done even after the minor QOL buffs. He doesn't have any synergy with any of his perks so its basically a perkless Adept. Trickster basically lives and dies by Save the Best for Last and Monitor and Abuse. Without them he's just unplayable and can't get quick enough downs to get any sort of pressure rolling. Gain the Endurance status every time the Killer is carrying a Survivor. You lose Endurance after taking a protection hit or upon the Survivor being hooked/dropped. After taking at least one Endurance Hit, your Aura is revealed to the Killer outside of 16m until the next time you are downed. Mettle would let a healthy Survivor take three protection hits. And an injured Survivor take two of the5 comments 71 views last activity

No one runs Obsession perks because there aren’t very many of them and most of them are bad, situational or just average. Soul Survivor and Mettle of Man are meme tier pretty much unusable. Object is high risk and doesn’t suit most Survivors’ playstyles. Decisive Strike and For the People are inconsistent (and always have been). So sometimes they’ll be game changing and other times they’ll b29 comments 811 views last activity

This isn't my first rodeo. I predicted the general ideas of Smash Hit and Power Struggle before. So here are two new predictions for the general ideas of new perks. 1- Endurance Perk for the person going for an unhook. Savior You can't save everyone, but that won't stop you from trying. A Commodious Toolbox saves 10.7 seconds of repair time, which is the most of any of the toolboxes. Fast Track saves 12 seconds of repair time with five teammate hooks, which is the realistic average amount of value you will get from it during a match, even though its technically possible to get nine teammate hooks and save 21.6 seconds. So yeah, Fast Track might seem sort of underpowered or16 comments 481 views last activity

Yun-Jin has really nice cosmetics and her perk set is above average. Nothing about her is bugged and I’ve seen a lot of people playing her. I bought her with shards when she came out and skipped on Trickster. I feel like most people did the same. Step 1: Female identifying Step 2: Small model Step 3: Good cosmetic variety for fashion and for stealth. Step 4: Voice acting that isn’t overly annoying to listen to. If a Survivor is all of those things, you’ll probably see them pretty regularly in your matches47 comments 391 views last activity

Blood Pact is a reliable Aura Perk for healing that’s like a hybrid of Empathy and Aftercare. It’s pretty much always useful for the information it gives to the user and the Obsession. With Decisive Strike being less popular, Blood Pact is something everyone should try adding to their build. You’ll guarantee an Obsession and get much more consistent value than you would from DS at this point.3 comments 101 views last activity

Hardly anyone talks about how a lot of time in this game is spent winning by default. Winning by default: when the match reaches a point where it heavily favors one side, but it drags on long after the tipping point. Inevitably ending in a way that could’ve been predicted long before. For Killers, things like: An early 1v3 before enough gens have been completed to counteract the pressure.0 comments 11 views last activity

Trickster is a stealth Killer that is good at keeping stacks of STBFL. Monitor and Abuse, Save the Best For Last and some gen slowdown is probably the most value you will get from him. He won't be insane but you'll probably walk out of games with at least a 2k. Just play him like a weaker off-brand Deathslinger2 comments 101 views last activity

115 No slowdown while throwing knives. Main Event can be activated at any point once it is fully charged. (you can wait to use it until you have a good opportunity). With these changes, Trickster will be about Legion, Ghost Face, Myers, Pig, Demo power level, which isn’t crazy but is at least playable.11 comments 281 views last activity

Would it be a bad idea if the most used Killer and Survivor perk was banned from play for a week every Tuesday when the Shrine reset? It would encourage new builds. Discourage stale meta builds. And give the Devs a fire under their butt to balance problem perks either by giving them competition by buffing alternatives or nerfing them28 comments 201 views last activity
