Why Decisive still has high escape stats

If you land a Decisive Strike stun, the Killer has to down you four times instead of three.

Which heavily increases your odds of being the last Survivor who gets hatch. Especially since there's a high chance that the person that uses Decisive is the only one who brought it.

I would love to see these stats if they separated exit gate and hatch escapes. Before and after the nerf. Something tells me we'd see another picture than the straightforward one from twitter.

  • What i want to see is the amount of escape survivor had with old ds not just the holder but the entire squad vs now.

Its impressive in a way because ds is use less often but have the same escape rate for the user that mean the perk is still really strong for the good player and for the people like me who abuse it its a waste of a perk slot most of the time

  • DS does the EXACT thing in so far as punishing Killers for going for the "just unhooked" Survivor as it has ALWAYS done. The only thing that happened in the recent change is you can no longer do objectives in the Killers face, and if you stop to work an objective you turn it off. All the outcry about it being useless now simply proves that it wasn't being used by SOME (perhaps many) Survivors for anti-tunneling; that was just their excuse. It was always about the Aggro. :)

DS is still an excellent Perk. I think people concerned about getting picked right back up should consider taking it.

  • Dude it's just 49% of people who have DS escape, it's got nothing to do with using DS, just having it equipped.

  • Or maybe it just shows that decisive was not as common as killers complained about it and it didn’t even help more than half of survivors running it to escape.

Kinda deflates the killer argument that decisive was like a free win and was in every game.

Na, those stats likely are for all players. If they showed the stats for only high level players (not just red ranks) i'd bet the numbers before were above 50% usage.

  • I just love that the stats show it wasn't actually necessary to be able to do whatever you want with total impunity for 60 seconds.

Who would have thought? Certainly not everyone who didn't abuse DS, oh no, we clearly weren't saying for years that it was simply a lazy, obnoxious thing to do.

Independantly gathered data showed DS being used consistently in 30-40% of builds at red ranks, so it's pretty clear that the stats are taking everything into account.

Edit: like, everything. Solo que, low ranks, people that aren't abusing the perk, etc.
