What if there was a power-disabling perk?

What if there was perk that gave a Killer 120% Movement Speed in exchange for disabling their ability to use their power for the match.

It's basically M1 Killer 2.0

    It would definetely make Trickster a lot more viable lol.

    But i think that would be an insanely boring perk to have.

    I would rather want perks that synergize with killer powers to create fun and interesting combos

    That would be extremely boring perk to use and play against. Different powers is what makes DBD great.

    There are currently two addons (Nurse's Matchbox and Hag's Waterlogged Shoe) that sevearly nerf the killer's power in exchange for more base movement speed and nobody uses them. People like using powers, a perk that removed it wouldn't be used at all imo.

    I've gone against many killers that don't use their powers at all or they miss couple times at start of match and then don't even try again. I could see this perk being in their load outs.

    That's not a good comparison.

    This Perk could take a Killer with a doodoo power like Trickster or Pig and make them 120% speed, faster than any base movement speed we've seen for a Killer thus far. Nurse has one of the best powers in the game and Matchbox takes that away only for Tier 1 Michael's movement speed. Same with Hag, one of the strongest powers in the game and she sacrifices it just for 112.5% movement speed, still slower than your average Killer.

    The developers seem to generally have a rule that they don't make perks that interact with a killer's power in any techincal way. I believe they've had this philosophy since the original tinkerer

    (For those who don't know, old tinkerer was basically a perk that enhanced the addons of certain charge addons by 15% which caused things like machine gun huntress and insta-saw billy)
