I think it's pretty common nowadays to read about how awful it is to play against Pinhead in SoloQ, often feeling like your team just doesn't get to the box. One of the most common features suggested for this game is having generator parts or things like that to have a secondary objective in survivor, but if a single killer that requires someone on the team to go pick a box every minute and a h18 comments 291 views last activity

I've always played dbd on low settings, not because bad performance or anything but because that's how I've always played and what I was used to. However when I tried playing killer on Ultra settings I felt like I couldn't distingush a survivor if it wasn't in front of me. So, I switch to ultra only when playing survivor, and back to low with killer. That made me wonder if there are killer playe12 comments 931 views last activity

I've been playing this game for many years now, and I can't believe that gameplay-wise, we are really far from having a balanced game. Many mechanics seem to be, intentionally or not, favoring survivors. I want to name a few that come to mind. Map offerings Both killer and survivor share the same map offering pool, but seems like the devs forgot about the 4:1 ratio when it comes to offeri27 comments 831 views last activity

Back before Nurse was nerfed, her fatigue looking at the ground was an okay mechanic to give survivors some room to manage playing against a killer that was obviously OP. However, she's been nerfed a while ago now, yet the mechanics that were made because of her power level are still there, why? Post-nerf Nurse has 3 mechanics holding her back: 96% Movement speed, cooldown after blinks, and fati27 comments 551 views last activity

I think we should see perks with "weight" depending on how impactful they are on a game. Survivor perks have a lot of weight because the meta is very strong (Dead hard, CoH, DS, IW, etc). This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't because all 4 survivors run the same meta perks every time. But sadly for killers, even a meta build is outweighted by survivor's meta. It is 16 perks against 4, after al13 comments 191 views last activity

Please BHVR just make better filler content for the pass, maybe something that's actually useful like bloodpoints, fragments or at least more recolored skins. i don't think anyone likes to have 15 pages of charms when after page 2 they are same 5 charms but with different colors. I'm sure that if BHVR had stats for them there would be way too many that haven't been equipped once since they were5 comments 81 views last activity

I've been running a lot of Shadowborn lately and it's honestly a great QoL perk, it doesn't provide much "real" value (as in helping to win the game) but it makes matches feel more comfortable to the eye. The default FoV is so restricted that it makes my head hurts sometimes. For example, I can't play Trickster without Shadowborn because with the low fov and the screen shake when you throw blades9 comments 132 views last activity

So recently I got a close friend of mine to play DbD, she's a fan of horror/slasher movies so she got hooked instantly. 2 days after getting into the game she had to go on a trip so she asked me if I could play some matches on her account to level up the rift and do some missions. I played my first killer match on her account, expecting to chill against not-so-good survivors, I even had spotify2 comments 111 views last activity

Finally, CoH has been "nerfed". Or was it, really? now it takes an extra 4 seconds to self-heal, and extra 2 seconds to heal someone. Yes, BHVR nerf to a perk that has been problematic since it was in beta was to add 4 seconds to it. No mention on cooldown to the survivor running it, no multi-floor limits, no token requirement, no permanent totem break after X uses, no. Just 4 seconds. At100 comments 2,441 views last activity

I don't really have a problem with boon totems, shadowstep is an ok stealth perk and exponential is an even more situational unbreakable. But CoH is so strong that just by one person running it i can lose you a match. I play a lot of Artist and depending on the map I might get a lot of crossmap hits, but with CoH they mean nothing as they just heal 15 seconds after that and I just wasted my time5 comments 41 views last activity

I dont understand the purpose of capping bloodpoints at 1mil, if I I play with a character i like, i would also like to get enough bloodpoints to be able to prestige and getting them to level 50 in one go, otherwise I have to prestige and play someone else to get BP. Also, why are in-game BP capped at 32k? 32k cant get you half a bloodweb level and sometimes you only get 15-20k (especially if y0 comments 61 views last activity

So this is more of a theory I've had for the past years but it's been pretty much confirmed now. Originally the lore that the devs gave us was that The Entity put survivors through trials to feed on their hope right? And also adding a killer making them having a slim chance of escaping each trial. Well, I actually think that The Entity is feeding on the killers hope instead, and survivors are j6 comments 491 views last activity

I'm not a playtester or anything closer to it, but I would assume that before releasing a new killer, you would have skilled people test them in all maps to se how they play right? Well, I highly doubt this is the case with BHVR. She's incredibly hurt by verticality, maps like The Swamp are hell to play because the crows just go on a straight line through the floor:24 comments 1,121 views last activity

Its stupid that this game is 5 years old and we still have infinites, the only killers capable of dealing with this house are trapper, hag and nurse, everyone else has to drop chase unless you want to spend a minute of the match running around. And sometimes even 2 windows spawn open so even if you commit until they block one of them they still have another window. It wouldnt even be that diffi3 comments 121 views last activity

I've been having this issue in almost all of my matches, sometimes I swarm a survivor and I can't see the aura of the swarm. The latest instance of this happening to me was on a Dwight working on a gen, I swarmed him and could see the crows but not their white aura. It also happens when swarming someone who just unhooked or was unhooked, and sometimes it just happens randomly.2 comments 71 views last activity

I've been playing her a lot and holy ######### she's powerful, I've never felt more in control of a match before. It feels so satisfying to hit people through the map. I would put her in S tier right below Nurse and above Blight and Spirit, and the best thing is she has more counterplay than Nurse so she feels more rewarding to face if played right. Personally, I would love if escaping as a survivor was more rare and only happened in situations of extreme teamwork coordination (I don't care about dying as long as I get a few fun chases), the maps were darker like before , there was more blood and better sound for tracking and less powerful perks. More emphasis on stealth instead of having everyone running around and less aura-reading perks.15 comments 181 views last activity

So I've been playing with the artist in all my matches and she's pretty powerful, but could use a few change that would make her less affected by maps. Make her able to aim her crows up and down, not just in a straight line. Basically what this would do is give her more flexibility in multi leveled maps such as RPD, right now if you want to check a gen in another floor with her crows you can'2 comments 71 views last activity

Lately I've been trying to mess around with my builds but most killer perks are so bad or have little impact that it doesn't even matter if you run them or not. Brutal strenght: 2.6s to break a pallet to 2.08. Unnoticeable in most chases as they can get to another tile in most maps (The Game map has so many pallets that it won't make any difference). So recently Im trying to adapt my playstyle to fake pallets just for fun, and Freddy and Doctor both have this capability, but who's better at it? Freddy's pallet don't disappear if a survivor is near them, but you also have to wait until they fall asleep or it doesn't work. Doctor's pallet are passive so you don't have to set them up, but the fact that they disappear if a survivor is near by, mi4 comments 131 views last activity

There's just not enough time to control gens, chase, patrol, break pallets, hook survivors, and now look for totems. 2 people on a gen can repair it in around 40 seconds (even LESS if at least one of then has a tool box). 40 seconds isn't even enough time for lower tier killers to chase, down and hook a survivor, let alone having to drop chase if someone is on a gen, which would just restart th48 comments 431 views last activity

Right now the hemorrhage does barely nothing, only making you bleed more often, but that only works on indoor maps because pool of bloods are mostly unnoticeable unless they're under direct source of light. So i had a few ideas to buff this status effect: Survivors bleed out on the ground twice as quickly (2 minutes instead of the normal 4). I don't mean everything, as some things would make the game incredibly hard (like doing gens in first person, even though it would be cool) but what about being inside a locker, opening a chest, doing a totem, opening an exit gate, etc. There are many actions that aren't repairing generators that would be cool to do in 1st person. And yes, technically it makes the game "more difficult" as you ha4 comments 101 views last activity

Honestly playing deathslinger now feels like his arms are tired from holding the gun, it's so uncomfortable to ADS now... I get that quickscope was annoying a lot of the times, but was this really the way to go? Right now, and if Im not mistaken, 2 out of the 26 killers have passive abilities. Spirit with her passive phasing and Nemesis with zombies. Most of the times these aren't game changing features but do help make the killer feel a bit more powerful. So why wasn't this implemented more? I mean, it's weird that they decided to go for a passive ability with the Spirit considering how strong she is, b0 comments 51 views last activity

So in one of the tome IX cutscenes we can clearly see a new spider-like creature as a killer. We can see its appearance and one interesting thing is that it opens its mouth just like the demogorgon does, and even moves pretty fast in some pounce-like fashion. It's already been a month since the PTB introducing circle of healing and shadowstep. My question is, how did those perks even made it past the PTB unchanged? I wouldn't even waste time explaining why as everyone already knows these perks are OP (especially COH, the fact that you can heal during the killer breaking pallet animation makes me wonder if the devs tried the perk at all) but it would b8 comments 91 views last activity

Honestly it's ridiculous that everytime I play as a survivor, I can run inside a killer after they hit me and then run away while they look around clueless where I've gone. Now that dead hard got the hit validation and many players are feeling robbed out of their hits, what do you think about Dead Hard giving endurance during the dash instead of invencibility? The fact that 2 survivors with flashlights can enter two close lockers and be basically invulnerable (saving each other every time the killer picks one up) is absurd. And yes, you can leave them to go for other survivors, and their flashlights will eventually run out or whatever but the fact that is even doable is crazy, it feels like an exploit to me. It's getting tiresome to play a match as a survivor, have a normal game and win 20-25k (in a good day) and then opening my bloodweb and see I can only buy 2-3 things. Or have a good day as a killer, get 32k BP without BBQ and still not being able to advance more than a few nodes on a bloodweb, only to see you still have hundrends of bloodwebs ahead. After playing in the reworked maps I thought, why not having a day and night cycle? It's been over a year since the nurse got a nerf (adding the charges mechanic, probably the least fun thing in the game) positioning her in the "weakest killer" spot, according to the stats at least. I've been using PH for a few days now, and can't ignore the fact that the mouse sensitivity goes way too high while carving a trail on the ground. So, right now there are 3 kinds of map offering: brown, yellow and green. The last one being, in my opinion, overpowered. The reason for this is simple: a green map offering almost guarantees that the match will take place there (in my 3 years of DbD, only once it didn't happen). I've seen a lot of people saying everyone should switch to corrupt intervention instead of using ruin, so I've come to save every survivor main, thank me later. Let's suppose the hex totem tied to ruin lasted to late game (sounds rare I know, but sometimes it was something that happened) with old ruin, sometimes that would make survivors dont touch gens at all and make the match easy for the killer. His new power (static blast) only works to track survivors, but it doesn't help at all in a chase. So you'll be able to find survivors but if they're experienced, expect a long chase.
