Iridescent Heads should go in my opinion.

They aren't fun to play with, they aren't fun to play against.
Survivors DC with them, and honestly when I play a huntress match and finish the game within 2 minutes it's just not enjoyable, the BP you earn with them is trash too.

You must play against bad survivors because they are easy AF to dodge and she only gets 3 so you have to reload all the time. I don't see a problem with them, they aren't really that powerful at high ranks.

  • The thing I found playing Freddy is that you can't play him like a normal killer. If all you do is sleep someone, chase them, hit them, down them, hook them, he is awful. You have to be able to juggle multiple survivors at once with DW. The fact you can see them means you can keep tabs on them, so your goal should be to sleep them and keep them slept. The more of them slept and the longer they are slept, the more likely it is you will win. You also have to know when to chase and when to hit. Sometimes it's better to just sleep someone and let them go. Near the end of the game it becomes more and more difficult to wake up if you aren't injured.

And while it's true that Freddy is quite weak without add-ons, he has what is IMO the strongest add-on in the game: Class Photo. This replaces all tracking/aura perks and makes it so that if you find 1 survivor you find everyone. It is impossible to hide from CP if Freddy knows what they are doing, and if you use it right then you should be able to sleep multiple survivors at once. He is also the only killer that can really make use of Dying Light because he's the only one with tools to find the obsession super fast (Black Box for one, but CP is still better in this regard and doesn't waste an add-on slot). If you can proc DL (while using CP) before they finish 4 gens you will basically win the game. It will be IMPOSSIBLE to finish gens, because the moment you see them go to wake up, you sleep them and find everyone again and sleep them. Add in Ruin and it's even more impossible. Compound that with his free Deerstalker and it means the last one won't be able to hatch either.

If you guys want an OP Freddy build, wait until the Spirit comes out and do this: Dying Light, Play With Your Food, Ruin, Haunted Grounds, Class Photo, Z Block. DL + Ruin to completely lock down the game. PWYF to make it easy to catch the obsession (as Freddy you can afford to break 3 chases because you can find them again, makes looping impossible). HG to protect Ruin and give you something to make survivors really scared (as I found with MYC, put Exposed on a survivor as Freddy and they will hide for 60 seconds and not do gens or anything). It also gives you a bit extra to chase the obsession, and if the circumstances are right you could just slug a bunch of people while they are Exposed. CP replaces the need for aura perks and makes it impossible to hide from him. ZBlock offsets CP's +2 second transition time and makes you look like a "normal" Freddy. All you need to do is sleep people at the start of the game until you find the obsession, break 3 chases with them (if you need), and put them on a hook. Once you get that first hook it's game over because you can just tunnel them to death, or better use a mori to finish them. It will be IMPOSSIBLE to gen rush you with Ruin before you kill the obsession, and HG makes it impossible to kill Ruin super fast. Granted I don't have HG yet, I've been using Blood Warden, but I have never had a game get to the gates with this build. Most teams barely finish 2 gens before the obsession is dead, and MAYBE finish 1 more after, but then it's game over.

Killer DC'ed as me and 2 other ran out the exit gate. Had a dull key with milky glass/weaved ring. Now suddenly I have 1 less of the item and the add-ons (both of them). What kind of BS is this?

Sometimes the game removes stuff from your laodout and teleports it back to your inventory.

And one thing I dont udnerstand, when you already ran out of the exit gate, a DCing killer has no effect on you.

And a funny note: Killers lose their stuff every game when survivors DC

No I had 3 dull keys, and 7 of both the purple add-ons. Immediately after the game I go to my inventory I had 2 keys and 6 of each meaning I lost the entire item and add-ons.

The killer hooked a guy right by the gate as 3 of us tried to body block (but we were all already injured so we really couldn't stop him). That was the dude's last hook, then killer turned to us and all 3 of us ran out together, at the same time he quit. Like frames after I hit the edge he quit, and I know it was because we got a short loading screen before the results screen (like when a killer DC's).

"Killers lose their stuff" yea because that makes this acceptable SMH.

Her second pink add-on should have hatchets stick to walls and surfaces for your to re-acquire (like throwing blades in CoD for example). That would be SUPER powerful for her as it would mean less reloading during a chase. Of course, the hatchet should be consumed if it hits someone though.

I also think she needs a 'crosshair' add-on, like Nurse and Doc sort of have. She's the only killer with an actual projectile yet these other killers get a crosshair and she doesn't?

    @TOXICCLAUDETTEMAIN said:
Crosshair would be amazing they should also design new looking hatchets and new moris for all killers

You can use a very simple overlay program and create your own cross hair. Well, at least on PC I should add

You could also use scotch tape and a red sharpie. But these don't help with the arc, besides the fact it's borderline cheating. I don't want to use something outside of the game as a crosshair, I want it built into the game.

  • @SovererignKing Adrenaline is fine because it's a reward for doing gens and lasting to the end of the trial. It's also a good alternative to Self Care if you want to play a bit more risky. The problem comes when you pair it with DS, but that's because DS is a problem not Adren. I play Freddy and I've come to accept that Adren can completely screw me over, only because the times I'm in that situation as survivor and Adren saves my butt are few and far between. Most games you either never get to the gates or it procs when the killer isn't chasing you and it just acts more like Hope to help you get to the gates faster than normal. There are also the times it procs, you heal, but are still in a chase and still end up getting caught simply because no one can get the gates fast enough.

  • To pip as survivor you should follow the rule of 1: 1 gen solo, 1 save, 1 heal solo, 1 minute of chase. That's silver Lightbringer, Gold Benevolence, and silver/gold Evader. At this point you just need to stay alive for at least 9 minutes to get at least silver Unbroken. 3 silver (2 pts each) + 1 gold (3 pts) is 9 points (10 if you get enough Evader) which is the bare minimum to pip. Do anything extra or escape the trial and it's definitely a pip.

I would recommend to let the killer chase you. Even a small chase can get you enough Evader for a bronze, at which point you can get iri LB and Unbroken for 9 points.

  • The drawback to SB is that you need to walk everywhere when you are not in a chase, or be sure you can recover your exhaustion in time before you get into a chase. It's also the most basic of the perks and most killers expect it therefore they know how to counter it better.

DH is good to dodge a hit or recover from a mistake, but if a killer knows you have it the usefulness drops through the floor. The speed/distance you get from it makes it not worth using to actually get away from the killer, only to get away JUST a bit longer to make it to a pallet or window or something. I also requires you to be injured, which means it's worthless against one hits like chainsaws or anything Exposed.

BL suffers from being too specific a condition to trigger. Some maps have very little or nothing to fall from, and it becomes a wasted slot. The fact it lets you recover from a drop faster is ultimately what makes it useful, and the speed boost is more of an afterthought.

I use Lithe now because it's a lot more reliable. It only triggers when you vault during a chase, and can have the same effect as SB in that it helps you to actually lose the killer. It also means that you can run freely and it tends to be a surprise to killers. Plus even if they know you have it, there are few ways to counter it since you will be on the other side of a window/pallet when it procs. The major downside comes when you face off against a Trapper or Huntress, as they can make vaulting unsafe. Nurse too, but they need to time the blink just right to hit you as your feet land on the other side. Lithe takes more skill to use properly than SB but can potentially be more rewarding when used right.

  • @KrazyAce13 said:
do you realize in order to really be good with blink you have to be spot on with being able to read the situation because once you blink through something she commits to the way you read what the survivor is going to be able to do, you use the word checkmate which is ironic because you have to on a split second decision think 2 steps ahead and "commit" to that and blink through stuff, dodging isn't too hard she gives an auditory warning when she's about to blink its timing on the survivors part to get away from her, i honestly think the problem survivor players have with her is that no other killer makes a survivor have to think outside of the vault, pallet loop box like she does and that makes them uncomfortable because it forces them to play and think differently. The nurse has the map pressure ability that ever other killer besides the hag needs to feel like a killer.

I know this, but you don't seem to understand what I'm saying. She can cover all my options SAFELY without having to commit until I do something, all while just holding a blink and moving towards me to pressure me to act. She doesn't have to blink to the top of the steps right away, that's dumb to do, she just holds the blink and moves forward. If I hesitate for even a moment she blinks at me and hits me. If I jump through the window, she blinks to where I land and hits me as I fall. I literally have no options because she can just immediately counter it. Every other killer has to COMMIT to an option, by that I mean either go up the steps and hit me/force me to jump then backtrack/follow me out the window OR bait me to jump and backtrack immediately then gain distance as I fall. Chances are if they go with the second I can STILL get away if I juke a hit because they will be getting to me just as I recover from the fall. But Nurse will hit me as I fall because she can be where I land immediately.

She has to mess up for me to get away. That's my only way out of that situation. And if she DOES mess up she can recover a lot faster than other killers and use a second/more blinks to get me.

  • @Domblade said:
The fact you don't scream after injury, means as the Nurse enters fatigue and you have the run boost, you have perhaps the most optimal chance of hiding from her.

I don't play Nurse but I'm preeeetttttty sure when she lands a hit it's a blood wipe and not fatigue. If it were fatigue you would have a point about CS, but if it's a blood wipe it only helps as much as it would any other killer.

The REAL reason to run CS is to counter Doc's madness. Not to juke when you get hit, although that's something you can do it's more situational than anything as it depends on what's around you and how you get hit.

EDIT: Nurse/Killer players keep pointing to "stealth" as a way to "counter" her, and that's true... until you get found. If the Nurse is running stuff like BBQ it's going to be impossible to stealth all game, you will eventually get into a chase. And that's where the problem is, because there is no getting away from a good Nurse in a chase. She can safely cover multiple options at once where every other killer has to commit to something.

Case and point, the red houses on Badham/Haddonfield. If there is a window at the top of the steps, EVERY killer in the game has to choose to follow you up the steps and try to land the hit before you go through the window, or bait the hit and go to the door where you land. As a survivor I have ways to escape. But against a Nurse, there is no option. If I don't jump she blinks to the top of the steps and hits me. If I do, she blinks to where I land. If she does it right she can both blink to the top of the steps AND to where I land. She doesn't have to commit to anything, she just charges a blink and puts you in checkmate.

I had a game earlier against a Nurse player that downed someone near the Thompson house as I was working on the gen upstairs. She didn't take their hook, and instead blinks up to me INSTANTLY. Fortunately I thought she MIGHT do that and walked away from the gen, but she blinked up to me and then hit me as she chased me out of the house. Then I had literally no way to get away from her, she just blinked from the house to where I was in the corn. Again she covered every one of my options safely and without commitment. Any other killer would at least have to take time to come up the steps to get me, and any other killer would have to follow me out of the house into the corn. I also could have used one of the nearby pallets to protect myself. But not the Nurse, she just ignores basic game mechanics along with FLOORS AND WALLS. No one has even addressed my point about this, that she can just cut out a crap ton of time by going through a wall/floor. The Game is broken against a decent Nurse, she doesn't have to use stairs or drop downs. She doesn't have to go around the closed doors. Combine that with the ability to cover ALL your options at once and she does come out as being too strong.

You guys keep saying "Nurse is hard". While that's true, it doesn't excuse the fact she subverts a lot of the key parts of the game by phasing through solid objects. Fox McLoud is hard to use in Smash Melee, and on paper he is technically unbeatable, but in practice he requires such a high degree of skill and has so many hard counters that this becomes a moot point. It's physically impossible to play him perfect. Nurse however, can be played perfect and when she is she's unbeatable. That's not acceptable IMO.

  • Hell Realm isn't technically possible though. Unreal requires you to "cook" things in the engine, meaning that any time someone plays Freddy the game has to load preschool along with whatever else map it supposed to be.

Survivor wake up doesn't need to be crazy long. It should be made longer than it is now, but anything more than 7 seconds is too strong.

They also need to invert skill checks so that the success and fail zones are swapped in terms of size. Then you are basically trying to hit a normal skill check but the zone is a fail zone, and you can't just spam the button.

  • 1) Hell Realm is just strange. It overcomplicates his power WAY too much.
    2) I like everything else, BUT I don't think it's possible from a technical standpoint to have 2 versions of a survivor. Also, regarding hooks specifically, it would be a very strange mechanic and not flow with the rest of the game. Also also, I can just see the amount of BS that happens when you are chasing someone and they wake up then teleport completely away.

Freddy doesn't need all this. He just needs for transition to block all survivor actions (except pallet drops and vaults) and a rework of all his add-ons (to remove the negatives and buff his white/yellows). Outside that he just need the general killer QoL buffs.

  • Scratch marks should never change. Anything related to them is completely buggy and screwed up no matter what they do. Predator should increase the sound of footsteps. Lightweight should decrease the sound of footsteps. Problem solved.

  • Yes I agree. It's annoying that you can hear yourself so loud. The humming is very repetitive and makes it hard to hear survivors.

  • Rank 1 survivor is actually the best IMO. You generally get put with other survivors that understand the game and will make smart decisions or can run from the killer for at least 30 seconds. You also generally get matched against killers that don't play like complete tools but are still a challenge to face. Keyword here is GENERALLY, obviously some rank 1 survs will be awful and some rank 1 killers will be toxic, but for the most part it's better to be red rank survivor than purple or green.

Rank 1 killer isn't as bad as people make it out to be, it's only bad when you get survivors that just want to do gens and leave, which at these ranks players are very good at doing. They are also a lot better in a chase and know how to optimize, so you get punished a lot harder for even minor mistakes. I played a rank 1 game as Freddy yesterday with a more "fun" build and spent about 30 seconds too long chasing someone and it kinda cost me the game. Of course if I was running my OP build these guys would probably have gotten bodied, but I could have got at least 2 kills if I didn't waste so much time with this guy (I already had 2 guys on death hook by the time gates were powered). Despite that I feel like red rank survivors are GENERALLY (there's that word again) less toxic than other ranks because they get it. They know when they are going to die and instead of being a baby about it they just play for emblems to get a safety at least. Purple and green rank players are the ones that get the most salty about dying, which is why they are the rank they are because they only play to do gens and escape which doesn't net you pips. Those players might eventually get to red ranks but it takes them ages. If you know how to actually play as survivor you can die in 5 minutes and still pip, it's an much faster way of ranking up.

  • Maybe don't stay so close to the hook. That's what BT is meant to punish. Put on BBQ, find someone on a gen across the map, and go after them. So what if the guy gets saved. That's at least 2 not doing gens, and if you chase the guy you saw on a gen then now at most there is 1 on a gen.

  • Pink hatchets are super easy to dodge though. And when you use them you are FORCED to use a belt, else you only get 1 hatchet. Babushka/Braid is a far more powerful combo, heck just using one of them is better than pink hatchets in most cases. They aren't as good as you make them out to be, your say you play killer go ahead and try it at red ranks and see for yourself how weak they really are.

  • Her second pink add-on should have hatchets stick to walls and surfaces for your to re-acquire (like throwing blades in CoD for example).

  • I think they need to redo Hemorrhage and Mangled status effects. Hemorrhage should be what it is now PLUS the current Mangled effects. Mangled effect should be changed to what Begrimed Chains/Heads are now (decreased repair speed until healed). Then Sloppy Butcher should inflict Hemorrhage only, and Thantophobia should inflict Mangled.

Broken seems like it would be a super powerful effect. If a killer perk could inflict Broken then it needs to have some limitations, like maybe it would only apply Broken to a survivor after their first unhook for X time. Or make it a totem perk where you inflict Broken on hits as long as it's active or something.

  • I accidentally bullied a killer earlier using DS/Adren (one of a handful of times I EVER use DS) and a flashlight. I was spec'ed to face a rank 1 killer, and they at least know how to deal with that build. But no it was a rank 16 baby Huntress. I felt really bad because that's really unfair to her. Had I not brought my only green flashlight I woulda let her kill me at the end of the game.

Will never understand how players get enjoyment out of beating players that are obviously inexperienced.

See, the devs aren't dumb. They know that the power of BW is the element of surprise. By making it part of the standard killer kit what they're doing isn't giving the killer an advantage they're just encouraging survivors to stop screwing around after the exit gates are open. In theory. In practice they'd just crouch around hiding till the 60 seconds are up and then continue holding the game hostage till the killer quits just like they do now. Either way making BW a base part of a killer's kit does not help killers, not really. It just seems like it does so they can say "Hey, killer buff!"

I don't get why they want to make perks part of any base kit anyway. Kindred. Blood Warden. It wouldn't work like they think.

  • Okay, so no grading. Though I would point out stuff they did right and wrong. I kinda do that anyway after a game. "If you had X perk you would have survived" and stuff.

  • It's actually "Spirit Furry" because in her normal life Rin would dress like like a giant panda. Pandas eat bamboo which is a type of wood. And pallets are made of wood.

  • @Peasant said:
Deliverance - Guaranteed unhook if you've done at least 1 safe hook save, leaves you with temporary No Mither.

Put on NM and Broken status (along with Hemorrhage, Mangled, and Exposed) mean absolutely nothing to you.

  • Won't happen because of Sony. They have been very adamant about not allowing crossplay despite the fact that MS and Nintendo are doing it. The devs won't waste the resources for just PC/Xbox crossplay.

  • @Nightmare247 said:
I don't think it needs that. The perk should be an advantage to the killer. Giving a timer to the Survivors takes part of that away.

For example, If I know that Blood Warden is going to expire in X amount of time and that makes it much easier for me to decide to go save someone, go and hide in a corner somewhere, or start sprinting to the gate.

I think it really injures a perk that is situational only. Keep the killer's perk hidden and force the survivors to make the choices without information.

Now Make Your Choice is fine since it implements a specific condition on a person not on the map entirely.

He means a timer for the killer, on the perk icon, the same timer you see for perks like MYC. He's not saying a timer for survivors.

  • I agree. Perk lights up when you can use it, it'd make sense for it to have a timer and go dark once it procs. I also think that if you have someone on a hook when the gate opens it will automatically proc. It's kinda wonky to get it to work sometimes.

No you don't get perks or add-ons, EXCEPT when you already own the character. For example, after they patched out the splinters for Doc/Hag (which show up as blank common offerings) my buddy offered one for Doc as Nurse and ended up playing with the build that was on his Doc. So if you own the character and have perks/add-ons equipped for them, then use a splinter it will basically be like you picked that killer. But that's only if you both own the killer and have stuff equipped on them.

What's the point in doing that though?

There is no point. The offering came up as a blank common offering (this after they patched them out of the game) and he used it because he didn't know what the heck it was, only to find out when the game started.

  • Nurse does need to be toned down a bit. It's one thing that her power helps her for chases and map pressure, it's another thing that she can entirely subvert core mechanics of the game (pallets/windows) and at the same time just ignore walls altogether. The Game is generally a good killer map, but against a good Nurse it just becomes an instant loss for survivors. The fact she can go up and down without using drop downs/stairs (which no other killer can do, bar the Hag but even she can't do it willingly) and go through the blocked doors (which again no other killer can do) makes it just impossible to get away from her. The fact she ignores basic map geometry is what makes her so strong. No other killer can just cut out a ton of time by phasing through a wall. I get she is hard to play but there comes a tipping point where the difficulty of using her is surpassed purely by her ability to just ignore everything in the game.

I think that they should tweak the Nurse. I don't want her to be "nerfed" but she does need to abide by some of the same rules as normal killers, namely that she should have to respect map geometry and not just fly around at will. I'd suggest giving her 3 blinks BUT only allowing her to blink to a point that is in line of sight. Then she can't just ignore walls/floors and has to play the pallet/window game a bit more, but she'd still be quite powerful in a chase and would still be able to maintain high map pressure.

  • How did your DS not work?!

  • Oh this just came to mind! Obviously after the game I would send them a "GG, congrats on making it through surv training grounds, I'm a rank 1 killer here to teach you guys the game" yadda yadda. But what if at the end I gave them a grade? Like how well they did, either as an individual or as a group. But I need a rubric so that I can grade everyone equally. If you guys can think of how to do that please tell me! Only thing I can think of right now is that they get X points for each totem, hook save, and pallet stun they get on me.

Huntress and her hatchets but no wind ups the speed thing but show them why huntress's lullaby's should be removed or show them how bad I idea it is to loop against a huntress who can clip you with a ahatchet

I was thinking that too, do like an adept version of the killer instead of specific build. Then it's like they are playing against the "true version" of that killer. For Huntress I thought maybe to use glowing concoction (which is IMO a rather worthless add-on for her) just so that I can hatchet someone and see how they react. The only thing is that, for example as Huntress, no one uses any of her perks. Lullaby is probably the most likely you would ever see in a game at higher ranks but even then it's super rare. Her other perks are just non-existent at high ranks (though I personally like using TI on her because it makes the basement a deathtrap).

  • No you don't get perks or add-ons, EXCEPT when you already own the character. • Wraith and LF because 99% of the time they are the most toxic killers, whether they kill people or not. I've only had a handful of games against these killers where the guy playing them wasn't a total Dbag.

In terms of just the character, I would say Myers because how well you do against him sometimes depends on how much your team feeds him EW. If I get a game with non-potatoes that don't just give him EW super fast he's fine, but when you have a dude that stands at a pallet and waits like a nub then he tiers up and 99% to tier 3 it's annoying AF.

    Fix that for you bro.

  • Hag doesn't need any changes. She's actually a good killer now, you just want easy escapes bro.

Placing multiple traps is a way to force unsafe hooks. It's also a way to secure a kill, and if you see a Hag placing a lot of traps near a hook that means they want that person dead so you should just do gens. Alternatively, if you are in a group have 1 person run through the traps and bait her to chase and then have a second person come in for the save. Or rush the hook as a group and bodyblock when she teleports. Even if she has MYC if you go in 2 or 3 to save you decrease the chance she hits you specifically. Knowing where she has been is also important because it she hasn't been somewhere then there won't be traps.

I had a game few days ago on preschool where I was dominating a team pretty hard. The first time I chase the obsession 2 are already on death hook, third on second hook, and they have 1 gen and my Ruin done. I chase the guy and he sabo's 2 hooks right in front of me. I pick him up and just eat the DS, chase him again as he sabo's a third hook in front of me. But he made a mistake of being too close to the preschool where my basement was, so I stick him in the basement and literally place all 10 of my traps in the preschool and camp the crap out of the guy until he dies. IDGAF, sabo is such a toxic perk and this guy had DS too (and I've played him before, he is a toxic MF). I made sure that guy wasn't going to escape because he pissed me off.

Bud he took advantage of a game mechanic, purposefully. That is taking the game hostage esp when it prevents the killer to do a task that was inclined to happen. 2 I DID EARN IT I SPENT 20 MIN IN THAT GAME FARMING THE TOMBSTONE WHICH THEN I HAD TO KILL ALL THE OTHER 3 SURVS AND THEN HAD TO PLAY WITH A KID UNTIL I FINALLY GOT THE TOMBSTONE ON HIM WHICH THEN HE DISCONNECTS BECAUSE HE KNEW MY INTENTION WAS FOR AN ACHIEVEMENT. NOW IM TYPING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THEN MAYBE YOU CAN READ WHAT IM SAYING. AND IVE DONE THIS ATTEMPT 9 TIMES TO HAVE IT COME DOWN TO A PETTY KID HIDING IN A LOCKER OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

You are the petty brat dude. You just want the guy to hand over himself so you can get an achievement. Why should he? You didn't earn it. Just hook the guy and try again until you get it. Don't beg and whine like you deserve something.

  • Is getting 100% achievements really that big of a deal though? If he got into a locker and you didn't tombstone him you didn't actually earn the achievement. You also come off as a spoiled child in your conversation. The dude has no obligation to just let you kill him with a tombstone.

  • Rancor would be a lot easier to avoid than Bitter Murmur. You only get the location for Rancor and obsession can see you so it would be a lot harder to use as a way of tracking survivors. BM gives you full auras making it a lot harder to hide from the killer.

FYI, creating a topic about spam is also spam.

BHVR needs to add captcha's to their forum registration and forum posting (not text ones, just the check box that says "I am not a robot"). That'd solve this problem really quick.

But so are most of your comments. So where do we draw the line?

And how are my comments spam? I post on topic. Just because I make points/counter points and destroy your argument doesn't make my comment spam. And if you are really having that hard of a time seeing "the line" you might need new glasses.

When you try to come back after being roasted...

Anyway... your comment that claimed that this thread is spam is equally spam.
But you fail to see that. Want to borrow my glasses?

LOL I could say the same about literally everything you post. Hypocrit much?

You can change the bindings yourself in the settings.

    ^^This.

The only issue I have with the console version is that there's a button dedicated to inverting the controls, and on the PS4 it's the entire touchpad. Any other game has it as a setting in the options, and not mapped to a button.

I have no idea how many times I was trying to wiggle out, got off the killer's shoulder, and immediately was boned because, suddenly, up was down.

If there's any one thing I would love to see them fix, regarding controls, it's that. Do people really need to be able to change their controls like that on the fly?

I agree. At the very least allow an option to turn off that button, you can't even "unmap" it (it's back button on Xbox, which is scoreboard for most online games).

There are also issues with sometimes trying to vault a window that's too close to a locker and you jump in the locker instead, or when you go try to jump through the hatch while injured and you heal instead. I also had one time where I went to unhook someone and there was an item at the hook (killer had Franklin's) and I pick up the item instead of doing an unhook. Pick up/drop item should both be the same button.

  • LOL good one. I wanna try...

How many killers does it take to change a light bulb? I don't know, every killers just camps there and never goes to the store to get a new one.

    🤣

PS. Not mocking you, the post was genuinely funny. But if we have a survivor light bulb joke we need a killer one too :)

  • Will we ever see a killer that moves faster than the 'standard' killer speed of 115%? I get it's harder to balance that, but the speed could be offset by some drawback (eg. longer attack animation/cooldown)

  • I wouldn't even consider Doc or Clown ranged attacks though because they can't hurt you.

Huntress is legit the only killer with a ranged attack. And if you make any other killer with a ranged attack it will just be a Huntress clone.

What I would like to see are more killers that are faster than normal instead of slower. Huntress, Hag, Nurse, now Spirit. All slow killers, with 3 of them having alternative movement options. I want a killer that's FAST, like 125% or something, but has something to offset it, maybe in that they would be super easy to see and hear or they have extra long cooldown on attacks. We need something on that end, I know it's harder to balance killers that are fast as opposed to ones that are slow, but it would be fun to be a fast killer as long as it wasn't easy to control it would be fine. If anyone knows the term "glass cannon" that's what I'm going for here.

  • Does AD work with Self Care? I mean in terms of the healing speed, I know that you can't get tokens from Self Care skill checks.

Having a hard time deciding if I want to use this perk or Deliverance as my permanent 4th perk for my NM/BT/Resil build.

You won't see me dcing because of that stuff, same way when i gotta deal with a nurse with ebony mori. Play the match and move on to the next one.

    Disconnecting =/= dodging.

Dodging is just an inconvenience for survivors. Where d/c'ing has actual consequences. Until the loading screen comes up, killer doesn't have to play with you.

Yeah thats why i said DC since i cant lobby dodge as a survivor cause there's no way to see who's gonna be the killer.
PS: funny you say survivors are cowards for doing the last sec switch but killers cherry picking survivors aren't.
Anyway, as i said before i'm not gonna keep bumping this thread. We can talk about it somewhere else, have a nice day.

Killers "chery picking "survivors aren't cowards for planning ahead. When I'm Hag if I see more than 1 flashlight I won't take the match because FL completely counter my power and I'm going to get screwed hard that game. I can see that and KNOW I will likely lose the game. Doesn't make me a coward if I l don't take a game I know I'm going to lose. But if I'm Huntress I won't care about FL as much, I will just equip LB if I need it or take my chances. If I see 4 toolboxes and I'm Trapper (a killer I don't have Ruin or Thanatophobia) I won't take the game because I have no way to stop gens (which they will do crazy fast) and they can sabo my traps. But against my killers with Ruin that wouldn't be an issue for me.

However, last second switch IS cowardly because you do it to avoid the killers that will either counter your gear or are so confident in their skills/build that they don't care. If you don't want to be a coward, join a lobby with what you plan to use. If the killer dodges, oh well look for another lobby. If they don't and the game starts then all is fair. But if you want to be a coward and give no chance for the killer to prepare for the match then you last second switch because you are scared of killers that won't dodge. You want baby killers you can bully.

Also in your other post you were comparing DC's to dodging, which is why I replied. You implied that by not D/C'ing you are somehow better than killers that dodge. If the game starts and the killer D/C's, that's unacceptable. If the game hasn't start and the killer closes the lobby, that's acceptable. In one case you are already locked into a trial, in the other you have no such obligation. You are comparing apples to oranges.

  • If you DS me or play toxic, I won't give you any freebies. I will punish every mistake and not care what happens to you.

If you don't DS me and play nice, I'll give you some freebies. I won't make it easy for you, but if you are on last hook and I can afford to chase someone else I will let you go. If I keep finding you though I will kill you.

If your team played well and was not toxic, and you get at least 2 gens done, I will probably give you the hatch. I'll kill everyone and chase you like I will kill, but then I carry you to the hatch or let you escape my grasp and chase you again until you find the hatch.

If gates are powered all bets are off and I will do what it takes to secure a pip.

If I know for a fact I already pipped (eg. 2 dead, 2 gens left) I will screw around a bit more if you weren't toxic. I also like to gamble sometimes, for example had a game last week as Freddy where I kept the game going for a LONG time and it came down to 2 survivors and 1 gen. It was Haddonfield and they REALLY wanted this last gen in the middle of the street. Jake was asleep and injured but kept trying to get the gen, and I wanted to find the Feng who was hiding somewhere. They played well and it was a definite pip likely 2 pip, so I figured I'll let Feng go, and gave Jake a chance to show me how big his survivor balls were. I chased him off the gen one last time, then stopped, hit the gen with my claw and walked away. He got the message I was letting him do the gen, I took the gamble that he would probably get away if he had Adren. I stood behind a fence in a way I wouldn't be able to hit or sleep him right away when he finished, and let him do the rest of the gen. He ended up not having Adren and I killed him when he finished. Feng escaped, and I gave the guy props for having some big balls to do that right in front of me without Adren.
