Splinters

Do you get any perks at all when using black, glass and smoking splinters? I know it says you don't but I've seen a few videos where they'd have one tier 1 perk. Maybe they had DLC unlocked.

  • No you don't get perks or add-ons, EXCEPT when you already own the character. For example, after they patched out the splinters for Doc/Hag (which show up as blank common offerings) my buddy offered one for Doc as Nurse and ended up playing with the build that was on his Doc. So if you own the character and have perks/add-ons equipped for them, then use a splinter it will basically be like you picked that killer. But that's only if you both own the killer and have stuff equipped on them.

  • Right now, on the ps4 they are hiding behind a ebony memento mori mask....lol.

What's the point in doing that though?

There is no point. The offering came up as a blank common offering (this after they patched them out of the game) and he used it because he didn't know what the heck it was, only to find out when the game started.
