And again this BS happens, this time behind a wall and a box, so yeah, something is definitely wrong with hatchets. This nakes no sense no matter kill boxes, and serves and all that crap

@BadMrFrosty said:
Use playback at 0.25 speed and watch very closely where the hatchet ends up going. Now, objectively, is that a hit or a miss? Look at whether or not the object thrown (the hatchet) touches Jill's model. If you take the servers out of the equation, I'm certain that still would've been a hit. Again, this kind of stuff is unacceptable, and just leads to people feeling cheated.
How can this be acceptable?? I'm behind a rock the size of my bady and I was crouching. Is not acceptable at all.

@Reinami said:
As someone who comes from fighting games. It makes a lot of sense. Generally you want the person doing the attacking to have a bit of leeway. It feels really bad when you have to be spot on and you just barely miss.
I understand that, but when you get hit when you are literally behind a big rock is just unfair

there was a location like that on one of the macmillan maps so bug. they just fixed the macmillan one
Well, looks like they got more bugs to fix

@FattiePoobum said:
I dunno l don’t think projectile killers belong in this game.
with server issues, latency and general hitbox problems it makes them way to inconsistent for both sides.
Yeah, something similar has happened with the deadslinger, he hooks me with his gun through a wall
-
@Kellie said:
I can’t tell you the amount of times when a hatchet hit a wall and me at the same time.
Yep, happens a lot

Take advice from Arnold. Cover yourself in mud to block the heat signature.
Haha, I should try it

The Huntress isn't throwing hatchets. She's throwing stick grenades.
More like target seeking missiles

Because the early game is when the killer is weakest. It is extremely common at high ranks to lose 3 gens during the first chase.
Not everyone is high rank. You cant make an argument considering only a small part of the players base
-
@Zeus said:
To be honest, this is how every game should be in the first place.
How is that fair?
-
I never mentioned survival time. And it doesn't matter if you did a lot or not, surviving is the main objective and you should not derank if you did. Also I neve said you should rank up, at the very least you should stay in the same rank, but actually deranking makes no sense
-
Why would killers cry about DH when they have the most powerful perks on the game?
-
@Zarr0ch said:
Well, you could stand in a corner all match then leave when someone opens the door or the hatch spawns. You did nothing, so derank.
need more details on how and why
Dumb argument. Standing there doing nothing greatly increases the chances of survivors not even getting to open a door. Plus the killer can still find you and kill you, have you heard of BBQ and chilli?, pretty popular perk among killers
-
@Zeus said:
The map has like 6-8 god pallets and no.one is talking about that
Not true

A way to unlock a fifth perk slot

DS is fine

Behold:
Dedicated servers in all its glory!
In all seriousness, the devs are working on a solution. But i doubt it will be what survivors are expecting (just like the change from p2p to dedicated servers).
They will probably make things worst :p

Sometimes Myers just wants to be friends with Nea, Meg and Dwight.
Taken from 4Gamers youtube channel
Waw, and I thought my starting locations were bad

Vpn/bad wifi killer. Also stop using odd bulb on your flashlights it's not worth it.
Why is it not worth it?
-
The 1 million current bugs

NO
-
I noticed something similar with blinding killers. I get the notification for blinding with the flashlight, but just a couple of seconds after, he is already chasing me.
-
Yep, camping leatherfaces is an old known thing.
-
@MeatBycicle said:
This is 100% because there are no actual low rank survivors who play the game solo. Any survivor who would be new to the game usually is brought into the game by a friend who is already a higher rank so they queue with them.
What this does is make finding a match as a lower rank killer incredibly long and difficult because it can't find 4 solo rank 20 survivors for you, so after a certain amount of time it just throws you into a group of survivors that have been waiting in queue and it doesn't give a damn what your rank is.
Well, the match making system didn't really look for long for a fair match. That match was found pretty quickly.

@Papayarng said:
Is it okay/acceptable to leave a hooked survivor if the killer is camping with NOED?
I feel bad but there is literally nothing i can do.
Actually os better. Otherwise you just give the killer another kill

Which is silly. If I don't want to play killer I'm not going to. Same if I don't want to play survivor.
I know. It makes no sense that they want to force you play the other side when you don't want to
-
How about get good and kill them before endgame.

@Boosted_Dwight said:
It's definitely not at it's worst but indeed it's pretty bad right now. :(
The issues I can think of is:
- Matchmaking
- Dedicated servers
- Map problems
- Bugs
- Poor frame rate
- Players being out of sync which causes some issues
- Poor community atmosphere
I'm sure there are most but I'm just going off the top of my head rn. :v
Yep, there are plenty more. But you pretty much cover the mains.

@KJT said:
I stopped playing months ago.
I still follow streamers and the forum for content but I stopped enjoying the game a long time ago. I knew bad days were coming. So glad I left before they removed Ruin.
I keep hoping a new chapter comes out that gives me a reason to return. But the 2 most recent chapters don't even feel like DBD anymore. Oni and Deathslinger do not fit the horror theme at all. And neither are good from what I've seen of them. Just literally worse versions of Hillbilly & Huntress respectively.
Yep, you did well by stopping, you also avoided the worst match making system ever. Imagine waiting 20 minutes for a match, just to face a lvl 1 killer when you and all your teammate are lvl 9 and 10. Same thing for killers.
-
@ZoneDymo said:
yeah, thats why its a rare one....
Well, should be ultra rare, is way too OP

@Mikeasaurus said:
Can't tell you how many times I've loaded in and boom, TR activates and theres the killer 10 feet in front of me. It's pretty annoying since you'd think you'd spawn a set distance from the killer.
Yep, happened to me on three of my last 5 matches
-
Sure, like killers mains don't camplain
-
@fcc2014 said:
Are you on XBOX? I only ask because PC, PS4 and Switch have had dedicated servers and yes this happens more frequent than before.
I'm on PS4

Self Care is best killer perk.
Haha this is the best opinion I've seen about the perk. Totally agree
-
Did you seriously just wrote "who said this is a team game"? Haha waw, I just found one of those selfish players I'm talking about.
-
I agree, and same thing happens for survivors. The matchmaking system is totally crap right now for both sides.
-
@hex_genrush said:
self care hurts the team but noed one is fine, if the killer has noed im booking it out of there and if I get caught with noed I’m killing my self so my teammates get the message to gtfo
If the killer does have NoEd, yes is best for the rest of the team to just scape and don't give the killer more kills, but when he doesn't, why not try the save?
-
I saw a streaming video of a guy showing the new killer and the new map, and he did mentioned that the map was really dark and that he had to apply some filters so it would be clearer for everyone to see properly.
-
Nope

@Fibijean said:
It takes a second and a half to reveal Ghostface. That's plenty of time to move your camera if the reveal starts but you decide you don't want to have your location revealed.
The point is, I am not trying to reveal him, I'm just hiding, and the sound gives you away, without doing the whole revealing.
-
Letting the trappers to set a trap without picking it up is not enough. The trappers needs more buffs, at meats give him a base kit of two traps, or survivors should not be able to untrap themselves.
-
Thank you for checking.
-
The ranking system is broken and useless.
Makes no sense that you can survive a match with over 20k blood points and don't get rank progress, and then on the next match you die with 15k and get progress.
That's why so many people make it to high ranks, progress doesn't not mean skill in a loooot of cases
-
@ratsmacker said:
Let me start this off by saying I am a survivor main (atm) and that I run spine chill in almost all of my builds. I think it's a fairly popular perk as well.
Which got me thinking what it would be like without it. I think it would make the game a lot more scary, and would force survivors to be more aware of their environment. I also think that it would greatly benefit stealth killers, like Ghostface and Myers. (But obviously just benefit all killers as a whole)
I also feel like spine chill does negatively impact survivors, since a lot of them tend to hide as soon as it flashes for even a second.
I'm not saying it NEEDS to be removed or that it's op or anything, but I think it would make the game a lot more interesting.
(Played without it btw and a ghostface made me nearly piss my pants, so that was cool)
Thoughts? Also, sorry if this is typed weird, I'm on mobile.
Edited to rephrase some things.
Well, if you want that thrill just don't use it

Still do. Quite often there's a survivor that dc as soon as he's been downed in the beginning of the game. Pretty much the same thing
Not the same thing cause you still have 5 gens to complete

Maybe its my general nostalgia for the "old" times in the game, but I kind of miss it too. Seeing old videos of it makes me want to be a clueless noob who doesn't care about balance issues at all.
Haha same thing for me. Plus the not having to wait again.
