1 Trapper is never unbeatable.
2 There aren't any OP perks.
Classic saulty unnecessary comment. I didn't say the killer is unbeatable, I said players can be because they have so much skill.
-
I think every killer can be good, if the player has good skill with him. I have faced trappers that are just unbeatable even without OP perks.

Bond is far more useful imo. You can find a survivor to heal you in addition to the other benefits of seeing your teammates' auras
Agree

I don't want to stay injured sorry
A med kit or getting healed by another survivor are much better options. I know the idea of healing without the need of a med kit sound great, but is just too slow in a game where time is key.

How did you get the picture from the pig player?
Please read the comments above before you ask a question.

Then that creates massive balancing issues for killers with smaller weapons..its take ages to sort out the intricacies of it and its frankly not worth it..as long as your in the vaulting animation..you just have to expect your vulnerable..you think killers dont feel robbed when their blade that's literally touching the survivor gets trumped by a pallet? Same thing..it sucks but it has to he consistantly to be fair
The killer getting stunned does not happen as often as the vault issue. So, yeah is not balanced.

You didnt answer about if it was in kyf or not... If it was kyf is hella buggy and suffers from more latency issues than the rank modes
🐷❤️
Is not kill your friends, the snapshot is from the video. The blade was visible for a quick moment when the killer swing. I pause the video and took the snapshot, and ir ubious the blade is not touching me.

@immortalls96 said:
Pretty sure the devs already explained that killers have arms..they dont wsnt windows to be ultra safe
Another one with the arm argument, jesus. Yes i know they have arms, still their weapon should at least touch me for me to do down.

Please look at the picture above your post and take a moment to think about it.... Please 😭🐷... My brain hurts that you think a window is safe and the devs need to do something
Like what do you expect like something like this.... directly as a surviour has vaulted the window it now becomes a soild object
No, you look at the pictures and realize the blade is not touching me, I now killers have arms, and they can use them through windows, but at leat make me get hit if the blade actually touched me.

Depends on how much ping you had going into the match. Also should be better once dedicated servers come out.
Well that's the main issue , 90% of the time, latency helps killers.

@[Deleted User] said:
because they think that its "winning" for them somehow, ive literally had survivors go through 15min games DC when im about to hook them, STAY in endgame chat just to say "haha you didnt get me"...you literally just lost BP, 2 PiPs, and 15min of your life for nothing.
My Fav are the ones that use DS then proceed to Tbag at every pallet drop, get caught and then DC
Haha, too bad there is no chat at the end on PS4, that would be funny as hell
-
In PS4, as far as i know, you loose your item if you DC.
-
This is a huge no no

Please Pennywise. I beg you.
Pennywise would be cool, but I don think they would include it since there's already a clown :(
-
Many times is just latency that hopefully once the dedicated servers come it till be better. But yes, hit boxes do have an issue.
-
When I started playing the game, I got confused too. I thought it meant the killer could see me.
-
Punishment for face camping is that the other three survivors can fix 3 or even 4 gens before the hooked survivor dies.
Yes it sucks for the hooked survivor cause he gets no BPs, but the other three can very easily gen rush the killer.
-
Most of the game's player base are solo players. I my self play like 90% of games as solo player.
-
@TKTK said:
A guy with a chainsaw can still stick it out the window like if you were doing mid vault and if you start your fast vault too late you'd get an m1 hit so chainsaw probably works the same way and if you are standing by the window you're just asking to get hit.
I'm not talking about just finishing the vault, I'm talking about vaulting and taking some steps away from the window. What the point if he can still reach you there, might as well remove all vault spots.
-
Leather face does need a rework so that 90% of the players using it will stop camping.
-
This makes no sense. Not the killer's fault if survivors DC
-
@Raven014 said:
Maybe he should, because survivors seem to break him out from behind objects.
Besides, you were injured. It doesn't do much when you're already one hit away from downed.
The point is not that it doesn't matter cause I was injured. The point is he should not be able to do it in the fist place.

Was there any holes were ghost face can stalk you
As you can see in the pictures, there are no holes. Is the killer shack, there are no holes in the wall
-
@BigDickCheney said:
If u fast vaulted out that window than he can see your aura for a few seconds. I forget the name of the perk
I did not fast vaulted, i just ran around. The saw he was stalking from the other side, hid, and still got exposed.

Disconnecting from the match = Quitting.
I repeat, disconnect and quit, NOT the same, use your brain a little and see the difference.

@Pulsar said:

No, it happens on Xbox quite frequently as well. You can tell, the game makes a sound when someone disconnects, if they plug pull, it doesn't. And pulling their plug is DC'ing.
I said plug pull is not the same as quiting, not DC'ing.
You might wanna read carefully before you reply.
Quiting is actually going to the game menu and quit the game from there.
Plug pull is just simulating a connection loss while in game.
NOT the same.
-
@Pulsar said:

People plug pull to save their items.
You are talking about PC then, in PS4, you lose them. And plug pull does not equal quiting.
-
@Atrushan88 said:
@Pulsar as far as I'm aware, on PS4 at least, if you DC you lose your item and addons. I could be wrong but I think you do.
You are correct

@Pulsar said:

If you quit, you keep them. If you use all but a tiny part, you keep them. I agree that you should be able to keep them when a Killer quits, but I also think you should lose them when you quit.
You do lose them when you quit.
-
@Pulsar said:
Because you get to keep them under EVERY other circumstance.
This comment makes no sense.
What is every other circumstance? I can only keep my items if i survive. And if a killer quits, should be considered as me surviving.
-
Don't know if is too op or not, but as a main survivor player, i like the fact that bbq and chilli encourage killers to not camp, and that's good enough for me

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/77396/in-order-to-fix-noed
The thing I don't like in it's concept is that it's too easy to acquire it's buff, you basically have nothing to do to get a god mode on endgame.
Yes it got a counterplay "do ur totemz u scrubz", but it's not the point, that goes aswell for those "omg but adrenaline bruh its so broken". We re talking about Noed, nothing else.
Noed is a bit OP, it shouldnt work like this. Truth is, if you run noed, chances are you're not confident enough to kill multiple survivors before all gens are done. You rely on this perk to have a chance of a comeback, and TO ME, this mentality is bad for a killer. You got to struggle. You got to be frustrated. You got to improve your gameplays and mindgames to get better at the game.
Noed just give the illusion that a bad trial was actually not thay bad since you managed to do 2 kills with it. It was a bad trial, you got to deal with it.
People just want an easy life easy game and are sweating for the 4k constantly cause of toxic streamers that teach them how to play "optimally", without talking a single time about FUN, or challenge.
You run Noed ? Fine, I dont care. In my opinion it should work with a token based mechanics, for each survivors hooked to gain a stack of Noed cause the entity enjoys your ability to kill. Each stack can be used at the end of the trial and for each insta shot it consumes a token.
This way you give more credit to the perk, and learn to not be dependent with it.
I like the tokens idea, although I don't see the devs applying it :(
-
I think what mostly bothers people is that many times NoED helps a really bad killer that is having a bad match to actually end up having 1 or more kills the he "didn't deserve".
Some people had thought that maybe NoED should activate at the end of the match only if the killer did a minimum amount of hooks at least.
In general there's a lot of divided opinions about this perk, I guess is just the fact that survivors hate it and killers love it. Something similar happens with adrenaline, survivors love it, killers hate it.
-
Don't even reply back to them, just make the report and they will regret it when they get banned.
-
I agree the are several things broken in this game that need fixings, but this comment look more like you just complaining about the gane being too hard for you.
-
I agree with the hillbilly idea, is ridiculous he can use the chainsaw at any time and run wathever distance he wants
-

i'm tired of not revealing him when i'm in front of him but somehow revealing him from behind a wall
also tired of being exposed when i'm behind an object or a wall
this killer is great in concept but totally awful to play against due to inconsistent mechanics
Agree, there seem to be a lot of inconsistencies play as the killer and against the killer
-
I agree, for both killers and survivors the new system is trash
-
@CoffengMin said:
i agree, its the pause what makes it annoying, maybe remove it and make it an 7/8% decrease so killers wont complain
Yeah I woul agree with this, remove the pause and make ir 7%
-
@Maelstrom10 said:
If they took away the pause and the hex status i would be uber happy on both sides.
i hate the pause so much its just not fun like it literally creates deadness on the gen and i usually just hop off and spin in a circle.
if it was just 5% regression upon normal skillchecks then i could deal with that, i'd just consistently hit greats (which i 99% normally do) and power through the gen as usual
Not to mention when you get another skillcheck during that pause you just lose more progress
-
Another killer looking for easy games. Spine chill is perfect the way it is
-
Both perks are fine as they are.
-
@ClogWench said:
Then it wouldn't be worth using. You wanna take away the pause you also gotta take away the Hex status
I don't see why it wouldn't be worth it, the 5% loss still happens which is what the description of the perk says. That pause mean a loss higher that 5% which a don't think is fair

@TWiXT said:
Leatherface's greatest potential is the ability to 1 shot multiple survivors in one chainsaw frenzy. On paper that sounds like a broken mechanic, in practice its a very rare occurrence to not only find more than 1 survivor to chainsaw at a time, but also give said survivors very little room to run from him. 1 such scenario that almost always guarantees multiple survivors down is the insidious basement camping scenario, where-in 1 or more survivors come down to the basement to unhook an ally and LF was standing right there using insidious for 0 terror radius, with his chainsaw ready for the ensuing bloodbath.
Basically the reason most of them camp is because it allows them an easy opportunity to take full advantage of their powers maximum potential. Otherwise catching multiple survivors with his chainsaw is attack extremely rare, and often un-achievable even if the conditions are favorable (like a tight passage with 2 or more survivors running the same direction), since his slowdown while charging and weak acceleration only allow him to get 1 at most while the others scatter.
It's like Pig players who tunnel survivors trying to get the RBT off their heads, or body-block the jigsaw boxes. They have all that potential that rarely (if ever) actually does something, so instead of getting "blue balled" they are purposely creating the situations for their mechanics to be fully realized.
Take Insidious itself, the only way a perk that nullifies your TR while holding still is useful is if you are setting up an ambush, and the only ways you can setup ambushes are to either camp an objective and hope a survivor comes to it instead of the another one, or to camp a survivor on a hook because you know their team mates will try to rescue them. Other than that it has no use in overall game play.
Which begs the questions: Are they doing it because they are just toxic players? OR, is it because the mechanics designed by the devs encourage these toxic tactics in otherwise reasonable players?
Sounds to me that the killer should be changed to avoid this type of salty behavior.

Would it protect you from a hatchet or plague vomit?
It doesnt have invisible tall barriers. They swung over the fence.
It would have protected me from a hatchet. And i understand when they still hit you just after you vaulted, but on a part where you are supposed to be protected this should not happen
-
I have always hoped for this too, I'm on devotion 4 and, what's the point? I get nothing out of it.
-
Would it be crazy having an option of unlocking a 5th perk slot? But it would be like a really big cost, like a million BPs, or prestige 3 plus 1M BP's.
I just thought of this a sec ago.
-
Usually when I run Ruin it gets broken in the first two minutes, unless I actually get a match where it is well hidden and not in a lame obvious location, which happens 1 out of 10 matches.
If you are taking 15-20 minutes to find it, I think the issue is you, not the perk (not trying to be salty here)
In general if the totem is not broken in the first 2 or 3 minutes, just forget it and start fixing gens, some times eventually the totem is found just by pure luck while running around looking for the gens.
-
As survivor i have also faced the situation where he is also right there in front of you in the middle of the screen and he just won't be revealed, and he ends up having an easy hook.
