Pretty sure it's been a mechanic since his launch I didn't buy the game 6 years ago
I guess is the first time I try that against myers cause I never noticed before

A myers mid stalk animation loses collision pretty sure it's so he can't trap someone in a corner and get tier 3 instantly
So it is the intended behavior? Thats weird

Mate, you don't need to play survivor to know that a perk that can extend chases for an extra 20 seconds is ridiculous, especially for M1 killers.
20 secs? Haha that sounds more like lack of skills than a perk issue
-
Maybe with prove thy self and the three survivors running together from gen to gen. But you would have to test it out
-
@BlackRabies said:
Think of a way to encourage killers to not camp then, but with gens flying getting done so quickly camping and tunneling the only thing they can do.
Not true, there are plenty of ways for killers to slow down gen progres, specially with combos like scourge hook + dead man switch, or ruin, or thanatophobia. But there is nothing that can be done to prevent them from camping.

Maybe they like you c:
Apparently they like everyone

So what's this, like the 1000th post of a killer main complaining about dead hard?
Have you guys ever even try using the perk and see how not that op as you say it is?

Another "I lost one match in this map so it must be the map and not me" thread.
It has decently strong spots in the houses to use, and then the map is 90% a deadzone.
Do you want to increase the deadzone to a 100% instead? Would that make you feel better?
Haha I was thinking the same

Its a 4v1.... the person playing the role where you have to take on an entire team SHOULD be powerful to at least contend with the other 4 people that can bring 16 perks for that team. But DH (or exhaustion overall) is just too powerful. But I guess thats where ignorance gets you.
Either way having SOO much power in the 1v1 with only perks is kind of a stupid design.
Funny how everyone just calls other ignorant when they disagree without still giving any valid argument. But that's the way crying baby's are, just complain and get angry if you don't think the same. No point wasting more time with that kind of people.
-
Haha you are hilarious, anything else your highness?
You don't know the killer perks?

Have you literally not seen an E key for distance? Cause you sound very ignorant/not informed to the issue of dh to where DH FOR DISTANCE IS NEVER IN THE CONTROL OF THE KILLER. There is nothing you can against it and has been proven by otz in his onyro video. Guess the guy that has been playing since day 1 and can play every killer to a degree of skill just "isn't good enough".
There is nothing survivors can do againts a lot of the killers perks either, so not even a valid point. Make sure your arguments make sense at least

In the real world, the devs have confirmed a change is coming for it.
No idea why people keep repeating the mantra "IT IS FINE, IT IS FINE" when it's been publicly announced that it's slated for a change
I can't believe killers cry so much about this perk when they have the most powerful perk in the game. Is just ridiculous. I guess is just noob killers that cry about it couse experience killers have no problem with it
-
@Brimp said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2943216#Comment_2943216
"the perk is fine" hmm yes the perk that single handily makes m1 killers a nightmare to play as is "fine". Just bait out the E key for distance 4head.
If a perk that just give you a 1 second boost is a nightmare for killers, then that is killers lacking skills, the perk is still fine. Is not even that good of a perk, half the times it doesn't even work properly
-
Survivor sided? Haha that's funny

I don't think it's Legion, I think it's the *amount* of Legions playing at the moment. I've seen people report having 5+ games in a row of Legion since the buff. I think once the novelty wears off and people go back to using a variety of other killers then survivors will stop DCing. I played against a Legion last night and no one DC'd, which was nice.
Agree, it not that legion is boring, is just thay getting the same killers over and over in a game with 26 killers does get boring

Care to show the rest of the match?
Really? I would have to upload the whole match just for you?
Waw you really think high about yourself your highness

@xBlitzAce1989x said:
Yes, that's reportable. It's happened to me too. Same exact map BTW. The exit gate was powered to 99% and an Ace decided to just stand there shaking his head until the Killer downed me. Somehow I managed to crawl out.
That sucks, is people like this that ruins the fun fun others

There's literally no difference in terms of base-kit mending, especially when Survivors split up
Clearly you don't get the point
-
@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
You had to mend before the new buffs, what about the new buffs make him even more "mendier" than before?
Yes before you had to mend, but matches against legion were not this ridiculously stupid, things could still get done, not is nothing but mending the whole match, it makes no sense and it should not be like that

What other killers? We only had Ghostface with this update and his awful chase music would put anyone off playing him.
I don't think you understood. I'm talking on the past, when other killers where included, like for example pinhead ir the artist came along, you would face them often but not as much as legion now
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
You can't blame people for wanting to try him out. Its not even been a week.
When other killers have been included or reworked, still you would face different killers from time to time, right now is just ridiculous, is just legion after legion, today I faced him 7 times in a row, is just stupid

Why not on evening? Also your evening might not be my evening, we might be in different countries

@Wampirita said:
I bought my brother DBD and his very first match as survivor got him facing a completely CRACKED Huntress. Like Umbra/Coconut lvl. I just sat there and watched him being completely obliterated.
First killer match ended before he even figured out movement and got to the 1st gen. Ofc he got completely BMed at the gate, cuz that's what full swf red ranks do. (it was all quite a long time ago, during old ranks, but it still matters imo)
Like how new players are supposed to learn.
Idk, just add gamemodes vs bots that's not only a tutorial (which is a garbage). And DON'T introduce Trapper as a tutorial killer? Don't mark him as easy, when he's clearly not.
I get that he's the face of DBD, but he's not a noob-friendly killer.
Agree totally

@Yankus said:
The same can be said for survivors. The new player experience is just awful in general.
Not as bad as being new killer

@BrokenSouI said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/321291/this-game-is-horrible-for-new-killers
I mean.........What game ISN'T exactly ?
Madden, nba, COD, etc etc.
Games that are pvp based are always going to be harder for new players who go against experienced
The difference is that this game matchmaking system is suppose to match you against people with a similar level skill, that is not happening

it will reset back to 0 if you get hit with an attack
if you suspect your stalk is nearly done what is good to do is to bodyblock or let him hit you while his power is on cooldown.
Tks for the advice

Any noise yeah. Jumping, repairing, healing, running etc.
Ok, thanks for the clarification.
-
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
Not correct. They are going to check noises and patrolling this area as well. If they have not any notification, they are patrolling map randomly.
By noises you mean any noise like repairing or just failing skillchecks?
-
Funny your totem got broken in 10 secs when cleansing time is 14sec.
Let me guess, totem got broken quickly, you got mad, and you had to post this.
Some matches will have your totem well hidden some will not. Don't expect every match to be on your favor
-
@StarLost said:
Have you ever tried Bubba without some tactical slugging?
No but I have faced other bubbas that don't camp or tunnel and they do just fine.
Face camping from hook 1 has no excuse for any killer

When a killer DCs after I've looped them for several gens. I call that a win.
Lol, yep, this is a good feeling
-
Agree
-
@BlackRabies said:
You didn't read last patch notes? The key no longer opens hatch when it has zero charges.
I had charges, actually it was full. The hatch spawned in a corner of the garage on autohaven and it just wouldn't let me scape

Yeah, the matchmaking has always been bad, but I remember it getting worse (and staying worse) when the Stranger Things chapter released.
At least back then players started at rank 20 and had to pip up, but unfortunately. 1. anyone could depip back to rank 20, 2. you pip up pretty fast and are quickly put up against more skilled opponents, and 3. queue time was (and still is, I think) prioritized over a well-suited match, meaning it wasn't uncommon for rank 20s and red ranks to be in the same lobby.
Personally, I would never recommend this game to anyone. I often enjoy learning new things, but DbD? Oof, it's miserable to be a new player trying to learn the ropes.
Totally agree

Oh okay.
To be fair, when I first started out I would get horribly stomped by survivors as killer. Way back when Stranger Things was added. It sounds like not a lot has changed in regard to skill gap when starting.
Yep, looks like it. Honestly is not fun
-
I don't think it workes properly, I am very new at playing killer, and I only get matched against experienced survivors, so obviously the matches are horrible for me.
-
@GannTM said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2508309#Comment_2508309
Well if you’re playing a new killer then the system didn’t do it’s job and as @Mooks said, the grades have nothing to do with who you got matched with.
Yes I understand that now, but still is supposed to match me against people on my skill level right? Not against what was obviously experienced players
-
@GannTM said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2508292#Comment_2508292
Yeah in terms of your skill level. The ranks have nothing to do with your skill.
Well, clearly is does not work
-
@GannTM said:
Those ranks don’t mean anything anymore other than showing how much you’ve played the game.
"You will be matched with players who are a similar level with their survivors and killers" that is literally a description of the new system
-
I don't think that's it, even if I just walk same happens. Plus I have been playing for years and it was never like this

just gen rush, face campers always lose if you play the game
The problem is thay in solo gaming you can't tell the others to just gen rush, they all try to get you from hook and no gens get done
-

It's not unrealistic. That wouldn't have hit if you were crouching earlier, but because you crouched so late, that means on their screen you were still standing. Due to latency, lag comp, and just how fast a hatchet toss is, it looks like they shouldn't have hit you, but they very much did. That's why the hatchet exploding where your head was before you crouched.
I swear some people have never played an FPS game in their lives. Surely you've played TF2 at least once and got sniped around a corner?
Explain the second set of pictures I posted and tell me how that makes sense
