Nah, there are situations where you would be right and I would punish the survivor as well. There are other situations where it’s pointless to try and rescue someone because they are face camping and the killer chases you away a couple of meters and comes back. Of course, the situation also varies depending on how many survivors are still on and trying to get that rescue going. The only time using the escape button is not essentially rage quitting is if all 4 survivors are down or hooked or you have deliverance. Maybe if you have the perk to increase your chances, but that's a trash perk anyway. Any other time you hit the escape button, it's pretty much the same as dc'ing. Killing yourself on the hook to let someone get the hatch? If you had dc'd it'd be just as wrong if the killer slugged you so why is using the hook to quit out allowed? Killing yourself vs a camper? Same thing.
-
Make all the perks that survivors get via SWF like Kindred etc baseline and buff killers by making several perks baseline to compensate. They'll still have an edge via voice communication in terms of strategy, but it would level the playing field.

I wouldn’t say that is rage quitting. I would calling it giving up given the killer would rather camp you than let the game progress over a kill.Which is quitting in a tantrum.

I had a game vs leatherface today. Game started, not a minute passed and I blew away his ruin totem. He dc. That’s ragequitting. I would ban or punish that.
Now, if someone is hooked and the killer is camping or if they are struggling and fail to keep going, why would they be banned?Still, I sometimes wish they would ban some survivors. Some dc because they didn’t get to be the obsession because someone else had DS also. Others dc the second the killer downs them. Others dc when no one is camping them at the hook and you are on your way to getting them off yet they give a damn. I would punish those as well.
You're mad the killer is there and you ended the game early. LITERALLY the definition of rage quit. It's even worse when Dying Light does it. There is no difference between a dc and killing yourself on the hook other than the killer getting 1k points.

Yes it does. it speeds it up by 15% at max level
and to answer your question i believe it doesn't, tru3 talent tested it and i believe he said it doesn't workI think he's saying non Frenzy vault since the Frenzy vault is already fast and even if it did it would be hardly noticeable.

Just got a key on game map with my "restock items" perk build on P3 Laurie who I use as a BP mule for others. This game literally just ended and I cackled for 5 minutes. Other survivors were potatoes all game while I kited the Legion player for about 75% of the match while the other 25% of the time he chased other people and they were downed in about 10 seconds. Down to 1 gen and 1 dead with 2 on last hook with me never being downed. Pallets are running low and he finally gets me down in front of someone else healing. He decides to take them, other survivor gets last gen. He comes back to me and downstairs hooks were used for other 2. I struggle free and go to meat chute room and drop down and he's on my neck. Hatch was at the bottom of chute. Clicked as I landed.

Monto had a perk build with it, but there's no real way of telling from the video considering Legion already has a fast vault speed and pallet vault speed. Honestly even if it did work, seems like a waste because you shave off about a tenth of a second if that with both perks up.

When im injured or not when I’m running and vault my character does the slow vault a majority of the time even tho it shouldn’t have. Why when I throw a pallet down right before the killer hits be it completely cancles out when the killer gets close enough to it. It’s all a load of bs .I've had this issue with pallets. I'll be standing right by one and it will even show "PULL DOWN (Space)" but it won't let me use it, but it's also here and there, not every game.
I'd be curious on your honesty if this literally happens every game to you. I not truly every game but does happen, which I don't doubt, you might need to make sure on latency before staying in a lobby.
I learned quick, even as a new player, to look at the latency before I hit "Ready". I died often to running, then suddenly being back where I was.
Oh please. I get killers lagging in game who had green latency in lobby. Game not going their way? MOM START DOWNLOADING THINGS PLS.

Dc is instant and killer doesn't even waste time on the carry. Yeah it is quitting, but on the hook shows that they were at least willing to wait until the camping starts. Rage dc don't even give the chance for killers to prove they are not campers.

That's the 1st half, second half can abruptly end for so many reasons.
Side note- Don't know about you but mashing buttons is hell on controllers and most don't have cash lying around to buy another
You are NOT trying to get off the hook when you do that. REALLY? We're it's a 3% chance. It's meant for DIRE situations like when everyone is downed. It is 100% a rage quit action when you do it on your first hook and you're the first one hooked. It should be bannable.
First hook, What does that matter? If you are being camped, you only get the 1. Nobody is coming cause that's the time for gen rush and its no more dangerous than an actual save attempt. At least then its not 2 teammates down and until the end you don't know if they ran a loadout that would help with the unhook attempt. Besides all that, 1 person having a bad time isn't responsible for providing you a better one, that's a courtesy not mandatory. Gg the one nice enough to give you their time and move on to the next game.
So you're ragequitting which is against the rules. It flat out says rage quitting in the report listing. Killing yourself on the hook IS currently against the rules, they just don't enforce it.

Once I get the licensed killers and hag to p3(honestly i think hag p3 is the best for killers), I'd probably do spirit because I don't see much that's great for her cosmetics. I got the doctor some and Huntress has some good ones and the santa clown is massively tempting, but I prefer to p3 the ones who don't have good alternatives first and I disagree that spirit has good alternatives. They all look too similar whereas other killers have some very different looking skins.

But that's normal. I usually don't camp. But still get called out for camping.

Stakeout is fine as it is. Every perk needs a counter, and only the Wraith and Jump Scare Myers can truly counter it. I use Stakeout on all of my survivors, as It it extremely useful. FYI, on Huntress and Freddy it kicks in when you are in their lullaby radius. If you aren’t working on a gen while the killer is nearby and chasing someone else, then you are wasting the perk and hurting your teammates.I've had it not work for Huntress because the hum is technically not her TR. Gonna need video to prove that because I recall it only working on her actual heartbeat TR.
One good thing about Stake Out is that it works with Ruin.
-

@HellDescentBecause Self-care isn't really a slower form of healing compared to being healed by an ally:
Normal heal:
Survivor 1: -16 seconds of available Generator-Time
Survivor 2: -16 seconds of available Generator-Time(a total of 32 seconds of non available time caused by 1 heal)
Self-Care:
Survivor 1: -32 seconds of available Generator-Time
Survivor2: -0 seconds of available Generator-Time(a total of 32 seconds of non available time caused by 1 heal)
As you see, they are equally good. (self-care is even better because it only requires 1 person to run to a healing spot where as a normal heal would require 2)
When sloppy butcher added +4 seconds to a normal heal and +8 seconds to a selfheal, it became really clear that people thinking this was a predominant nerf to self-care did not understand how available time works.
I know that part. Except you have to heal eventually. And it's a lot faster for a teammate to heal you. The faster you are healed the faster you are back doing the objective. Plus you don't pip by just spending time in a chase and sc. With sc you are also vulnerable for a longer period of time.
You basically just stated the same thing you said before even though he told you how you're wrong. It wastes the same amount of time regardless of healing yourself or getting healed. 2 people x 16=the same 32 seconds of self care plus the time wasted finding each other. With self care you can spend the same time healing while the person that would have had to heal you is working on a generator.

I've been seeing Legion pretty much camping more than any other killer now. It's like they know that both they and the killer are so bad that it's pretty much the only way to legitimately get kills.

I run NOED and literally never get complaints post game about it.
Jeff has thrown things off a bit because I find myself sometimes unable to hook, so I slug more now, which makes for more obnoxious noises going off.
Overall, he is my favorite killer. If I can keep my 3 gens somewhere close by, I almost never lose.
And throw in his kings add-on and you can usually tell when survivors are getting impatient or confused...indoor maps the sometimes run into you, same as stealth Myers lol.
If you get a close indoor map...it's is a ton of hectic fun!
I love him!
I had a SWF who screwed their gen placement on one of the coldwind maps and basically had the last 3 all in a triangle and it literally took about an hour and one of them tried to sacrifice herself so they could do the gens, but that didn't work. Not waking up while playing Freddy is bannable?
Lol your stupid examples are nowhere near the same as killing yourself on the hook. Intentionally stepping on a trapper trap to screw your team would be the same. Running at the killer to have the hook you would be the same.
Killing yourself on the hook is 100% the same as a DC. You claimed you have no respect yet didn't seem to indicate how it was any different. Dude, thats 1 button.
And maybe they should delete this button.
Because its just unnecessary.Or at least revamp it entirely. If it was a skill check between the size of a great skill check and rank 3 overcharge that would flash 3 times without penalty on your first hook, that'd be fine and it should occur at some random intervals closer to the struggle phase.
Bad/new players think there isn't a penalty or something and do it ALL the time every first hook. Bad players who don't care about their team do it and it should be considered rage quitting.
Revamping it to be something that actually takes some skill and doesn't penalize your team for "trying" and also stops the rage quitters would be a very welcome change.
Honestly the struggle phase also needs to just go. Keep the animation, but it's just another way for rage quitters to give the middle finger to your team.

No, people want to dominate and get BP because they played with their friends. The stupid claim that if they remove it then SWF players would abuse the lobbies to try to ensure they got in could easily be countered by not showing the other players identities or characters to each other. SWF should not reward BP or anything for that matter. Having free perks given to you without equipping them is ridiculous.

That is exactly why there is a threshold to DC bans, and why there is a leave button in the first place. You will not be banned for the occasional DC because someone is griefing. Things like this are nowhere near common enough for that to happen.
It happens to me about once a week or more. That's often enough and you still didn't address the fact that you still get punished yourself by leaving in terms of losing any bp you earned as well as 2 pips and your item.

I'm sorry but have you ever played Survivor against Frank's mixtape? It is literally the most non-interactive boring ######### in this entire game. You get hit by an unavoidable frenzy hit, they wait 12 seconds for cooldown, then hit you again with an unavoidable frenzy hit and you go down.
You have to be crazy to think that has to be baseline.
I forgot you can't bait pallets or stun them. Rip my idea. I guess only Nurse or Billy is allowed to do it.
Okay so you wait at a pallet. He runs near it, then runs back. You waste the pallet, he vaults it, and you die.
You wait at a pallet. He just lunges through it and you die.
You wait a pallet. You drop it, he swings through, and with new pallets he downs you anyway and gets stunned.
You wait at a pallet. You drop it and actually stun him.
You win 25% of these scenarios.
This is assuming you even have a pallet in 12 seconds.
Or be able to lose the killer or be stealthy
Y'kno, no scratchmarks either
People seem to forget that. They claim Spirit's ability is weaker because Spirit can't see survivors, but she can see scratch marks. Lose sight of a survivor while frenzied and if they have half a brain they can get away.

Here's PSN's Code of Conduct
So they really should be doing something according to that. However, I highly doubt they're going to have 1-2 instances even end up with a suspension. Reading over that, I also highly doubt that DBD will ever have any control over bans on PS4 added in with the fact that you need PS+ to play it and most people would cancel it then.

How exactly? I've never really seen an option anywhere to report someone to PSN.
Select the message in question, press the options button, select report.
Yup. I've reported toxic messages using the PSN report system. Later, I saw the messages had been removed by Sony, so they absolutely did look and take action.
That's something everyone should keep in mind when using the console messaging system: don't swear, don't say anything offensive, always keep it clean. They take those things seriously.
You honestly have no proof they took action other than removing the message. We'd legitimately need someone who has had action taken against them by Sony to verify this since these companies are notorious for not telling you if they did something to a harasser. Blizzard is good about telling you who is getting a ban etc, but Riot for example will not tell you if someone who harassed you had any action taken.
