The animation is whats throwing you off. In your mind your seeing up and down and thinking shorter lunge a lot of people do and tend to get hit at pallets cause reading his lunge is a bit harder.

It doesn’t feel shorter, it feels harder to position the lunge to connect. I’ve gotten it down though

okay there's literally nothing to discuss with someone who ironically says that shack is an infinite

    That’s where you’re wrong kiddo

  • Yeah, I want my GF achievements so I’m deranking to 15. Started at 7, I’m at 10 now, I’ve been doing this for ~2.5 hours. It’s impossible to find games at high ranks, it’s impossible to have fun at high ranks, it’s not fun only playing against GF as survivor, it’s not fun all around, so if the game won’t let me have fun, I’ll force it

Literally before this patch people were calling the shack a "God loop"

Now it isn't all of a sudden? Lol sounds like to me you're bad a looping the shack. When they made the angle change over a year ago, it was made to make some window loops more powerful in a particular direction.

If you loop from INSIDE the shack, you always fast vault. Looping outside was ALWAYS meant to do a medium vault cause of the 90 degree turn, unless you take a few extra steps to widen out then you can fast vault.

Survivors once again proving they think exploits are standard gameplay.

    Facts facts facts

why is it always someone with a bill picture saying something like this

Because he understands the game? Meat Tree, killer shack, the mines at MacMillan, if you loop them literally the other way then you will still get a fast vault every time. All of these places are very easily looped if you’re semi-competent. You can’t be mad at killers needing to have these things. How are killers like Leatherface, Wraith, etc going to be able to stop you from looping them without these things helping them? Blocking off BS windows wouldn’t fix the problem. With RNG making maps, even if you did block off the simple ones, not having bloodlust, enduring, etc would make it impossible to stop some loops. Even as a killer main, who hardly plays survivor, I can loop these windows no problem.

    TL;DR:

You can’t just block some windows and expect everything else to work out fine

I got adept ghostface earlier today.

That’s odd, I don’t have them on mine yet, I’ll restart my console just to be sure

  • I use Pig. I just drill down everything. Use STBFL for quick chases, then you can apply more pressure from the time saved.

I think every killer has the same lunge.

You could be right, but it feels different. Like watch any other killer swing, then look at how he does it

  • Okay so each offering counts differently from each other. So one cake gives that bonus from the basic points, then again, etc

  • So y’all just gonna downvote without saying why?

  • all my progress has been erased after the update. just poof here start over. i'm about to uninstall and say ######### this game if they don't fix this soon

Go into the DBD F.A.Qs and submit this as a ticket. I lost a lot of progress a while back and they restored it

  • Explain?

  • Never mind I lied, I just ran into someone who used the offering

  • The event hasn’t started yet, it’ll start later today. I hope Amanda’s Cosmetics come out with the event, because I’ve already got $25 of Auric cells on my account

@RotBb pleaseelaborate. Going "You're wrong" without evidence isn't helping your case.

Surveillance for one, how are you going to play stealthily if you can’t do the objective, it’s either you tell the killer you’re on the gen, or you sit And wait For them to give up. Thrilling tremors, how are you supposed to know when another survivor Is going to be pulled? You won’t, so if you’re on a gen, you’re instantly screwed. Rancor tells where all survivors are. Infectious fright does reveal auras (test it).

  • @NoShinyPony said:

@RotBb A 2nd objective should be obligatory, not voluntary like the Halloween event. I think that leads to a 2nd objective being related to gens and/or exit gates.

Also, I don't think that such a 2nd objective would be an indirect nerf to existing perks. The survivors still have to do the gens, after all. And the strongest survivors perks aren't those which help with gen repair anyway.

I mean killer perks. Thrilling tremors, corrupt intervention, etc, they are pointless if their is already a lock on gens .

    @prayer_survivor

"Should stealth survivors be countered by Nurse's Calling..."

Don't heal in the killer's Terror Radius. If the killer happens to be a 24 and under terror radius killer, make peace with your god and pray as you heal.

    "...BB&C..."

Lockers, going in range, hiding behind a gen (this still works, you just need to have awareness how BB&C works), faking your direction, Distortion.

    "...Bitter murmur..."

Who runs this? Also this only takes effect if you are in range/complete the generators except for the last one.

    "...Blood Warden..."

    Negligible. This requires:

    A) For you to be in the exit area

    B) The killer having to hook someone

This is not to mention you already basically won and you don't need stealth anymore. Leaving is a valid option.

    "...Deerstalker..."

You're down at that point, the killer would find you eventually anyways.

    "...Discordance..."

This perk has the prerequisite of requiring two people on a generator at the same time. That, and it doesn't show YOUR aura, just the generator.

    "...Hex: Thrill of the Hunt..."

... Do I really have t- Urgh. Fine. Thrill of the Hunt doesn't reveal your aura, in fact it does little besides telling the killer you are on it or another Hexed totem. I don't know why you included this here.

    "...I'm All Ears..."

This perk will only be useful on the off chance a survivor is specifically running perks that deal with trying to be stealthy in a chase. Even then it's negligible enough it wouldn't be ran very often.

    "...Infectious Fright..."

    Doesn't reveal aura.

    "...Iron Maiden..."

Doesn't reveal aura and doesn't last long enough to actually be effective. You won't see this unless you are against a Doctor or Speed Reloader Huntress.

    "...Rancor..."

Reveals YOUR aura, but not survivor auras. Rancor is used to murder the obsession to death in endgame.

    "...Spies from the Shadows..."

Was a great perk, then got nerfed to the ground again. Also doesn't reveal auras.

    "...Stridor..."

    Now I know you're reaching.

    "...Surveillance..."

Doesn't reveal your aura, it's a gen protector perk.

    "...Territorial Imperative..."

    When does this get used?

    "...Tinkerer..."

At that point the generator is gonna get down before the killer can stop you, and it stops the killer's Terror Radius. Doesn't reveal the survivors aura.

    "...Thrilling Tremors..."

Long Cooldown and countered by not touching the gens. Doesn't show survivor aura.

    "...and Whispers?"

Doesn't show survivor auras, can be overpowered with Scratch Mirror Myers but otherwise just helps you generalize survivor location.

"And also OoO, noises, scratch marks, crows or even doing nothing?"

    What?

You are wrong on half of these

  • @BBQnDemogorgon said:

@RotBb That's not 100% true. They warn you from 36 meters away. Your perk would go off before any non-stealth killer is in TR range (32m) giving you slightly more time to hide from them.

    Chill also has speed bonuses.

But in the grand scheme of things, they are ONLY truly effective against stealth killers. The heartbeat gives every other killer away, stealth killers rely on no heartbeat. Those TWO perks aren’t used enough to be effective, anyways

  • @BBQnDemogorgon said:

@RotBb Spine chill and premonition still warn you a stealth killer is coming defeating the purpose of stealth killers.

Especially Ghost since you turn off his entire power by knowing he's coming and looking at him.

But that’s their entire purpose. There is no point in having them in the game without being able to do that.

  • No, I think Kindred should be the only perk to trump killer via aura, but then Spine Chill & Premonition should still proc on all stealth killers

  • I feel like adding a lock on gens would put a lot of perks on the back burner. I think, much like the Hallowed Blight event, a second objective should have nothing to do with Gens

  • @Rex_Huin said:

I don't like wearing P3 cosmetics on killer. Makes me feel under more pressure to be 'good'. Just me I know...

That’s fair. If you lose, it’s just gonna make it easier for the survivors to bully you. I find that P3 is a good taunt, it’s like saying “I’ve killed you before, and I’ll do it again”.

Without any game slowdown other than your own personal attacks, brutal strength may be too niche to aid enough, breaking pallets a little faster only helps so much, the snowball affects of devour hope would aid much more than some measly stat boost on pallet breaks.

Test one was amazing. I got theee Moris in beforehand the totem was cleansed. I went to find hatch, which I did, then a Quentin cleansed my totem. I closed hatch and still had an active spirit fury and four stacks of STBFL. I hit him through a pallet, he stunned me, I then hit him down not five seconds later. I got 106k bloodpoints without BBQ. Sadly, only one pip.

  • @Oblitiry said:

Play doctor until you find him slug him and stand on his body. Simply don't let anyone pick him up. There ya GOT EM! But was it even worth it? He's just gonna go about the rest of his game sessions doing the same thing.

    Cowards do survive after all.

I want to obliterate him. I want to destroy him and his team. He deserves no mercy, and anything below a merciless victory is not enough.

  • That’s not as fun as completely and utterly decimating him.

    @Rex_Huin said:

Your problem is the last person getting the hatch? Best solution is slug the third guy and use Whispers to locate the last survivor? You could add Knock Out as well for some extra spice.

That’s a good point, but if five perks were allowed, it’d fit in really nicely.

STBFL, Enduring, Spirit Fury, and Hex: Devour Hope makes you quite powerful

Fast recovery with STBFL on hits and gives snowball, Enduring has you recover much faster on stuns and with spirit fury up you can shatter pallets and if you hit them through it you can get a 2 for 1 hit combo, and devour hopes gives you movement speed off of hooks and a one shot at 3 or more hooks then a mori at 5 so... that's as aggressive I can think of.

With brutal strength this would be amazing. Light early game pressure, extremely heavy middle & late game pressure. This is beautiful. I think if PWYF wasn’t so trash, the instant movement speed boost could replace STBFL

  • @TragicSolitude said:

Hex: Devour Hope is one of the more aggressive perks.

Ah yes, that sounds good, but sprinkling it in sounds dangerous to the overall build.

  • @VeryCuriousPerson said:

If an M1 killer.... Save the best for last, Hex Ruin, Corrupt Intervention, Sloppy Butcher

Lots of game slow down and a snowball perk that helps you capitalize on them grouping together, if you aren't too good at mindgaming though a better set up would be replacing CI and SB with Enduring and Spirit Fury for better chase times.

slowing the game down doesn’t seem like the course of action Id want to take. At most Ruin, because hatch will now always spawn. I think a build more focused on an unstoppable force rather than an unmovable object would be more effective

  • @Jesp said:

When I saw "aggressive" I thought of something like enduring/spirit fury/bamboozle/<something else> to just bruteforce pallets and windows as hard as possible, but that's a different kind of aggressive.

I guess if they tend to use obsession perks you could use Rancor to try to get them? Whispers so if you're in some random corner and it lights up it might be your "nemesis" hiding there? I dunno.

I’ve thought about spirit fury, save the best for last, and enduring. I also thought about the UnGodly toxic slugging build on Pig, since he never seems to be in a swf. Note, the only killer I’ll use against him is pig, maybe legion.

  • Pig- her power isn’t the RBT, it’s the mind games you can do with her dash. Her best add-on is the Video tape. (Watch Ardetha if you really wanna main Amanda).

  • @IMhereRUN said:

Your recommended changes to his power, maybe not what you intended, but that doesn’t make it less true. Your proposed changes would make him unstoppable.

    How?

  • @IMhereRUN said:

Some people are just never satisfied unless the killer is literally unstoppable...and that’s what your suggestion would make him. He’d be at Nurse’s level, looping would be non-existent, might as well ask for a killer that moves 3x the speed, of a power that freezes survivors in place...surely you can make a recommendation better than that.

When did I say anything like that?

  • @Paladin_Goo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/528839#Comment_528839

Yeah, no. I don't want the clown turning into another one of those "deep wounds" killers. That's the sole reason people still DC against Legion. It's annoying.

That’s also not what I mean. I mean the effect is put on a survivor and they can fix it themselves, but the longer they don’t fix it, the worse it gets.

  • @Pike_Trickfoot said:

Someone actually put Pig A tier..... I'm crying from joy. 🐷

  • @FireHazard said:

    Leather Face is C?

That ain't right... Should be T, for TRASH!

Leatherface is very powerful at crowd control, so if you know how to herd survivors, you can make him very effective. But otherwise, no he’s trash lol

  • @Pike_Trickfoot said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/528830#Comment_528830

That would be a no from me chief (unless it starts minimally, and I mean minimally). Already can't play against him as is with the gas effects. Probably won't fly since it wouldn't be effective then and might actually be a slight nerf.

I don’t mean permanent effects. I mean like at a duration, maybe such as the mend timer on legion combined with plague/doctors effect.

  • @NightmareReborn said:

    Thank you for sharing.

Anything you would change about him specifically?

I think his power would be more fun if it where progressive, like the Plague. Like, the longer the survivors are in the smoke, the longer and more aggressive the effects are, rather than a short, instant slow and blur.
