but all they do is create a few sparksThey don't blind? I've used one 4 times now, seemed twice it actually blinded them. One time I blinded myself lol.
So I know 100% they blind me and can only assume can blind killer to if goes off at right time based on how a couple reacted after I used it.

If you want I have nearly all my games as killer And now a good few survivor (after so long hunting them I've learnt a few tricks lol) if you would like I can share some or make a few playing as this killer type of vid for you to watch which killer do you useI mainly play survivor, I like the anxiety it causes lol. But def if have a youtube channel or something please let me know.
I watch killer vids also just to try and learn how they move/see/think and also how people evade them. Nothing against them really but not a huge fan of Monto and/or TydeTyme videos. Their vids are perfectly fine but not good vids really for a new player learning so would really like to see a more straight forward video.

Earlier a Meg said I tunneled her. She was my first hook, I didn't kill anyone until I got 4 BBQ stacks. I'm like "say wha????"Meg is my main as I'm learning, it was probably me.
I suck at running from killers right now, so it definitely is your fault for being a bad sportsman.

Someone clarify something for me regarding The Legion (henceforth just Legion)
Why don't legion players just keep chasing the same person. Hit with Frenzy, frenzy resets, just keep chasing. Don't hit so not stunned. Once temporarily stunned just start chasing again.
They will either die to your bleed or die to you catching up and hitting them again.
I don't understand why its so hard for a legion player to kill someone when they are so fast.
[This is a legitimate question, I don't play killer much and haven't played him at all so I don't understand his mechanics fully]
Also: Just no one say "that would be tunneling and bs". It's not tunneling going after a kill and it just takes longer because of your character design.

WHY!? Why every time when I need to fast vault or throw a pallet I can’t. I got unhooked killer chased me I tried to vault but nope my character just kept running into the window until the killer got close enough to me then I could vault after getting hit. When im injured or not when I’m running and vault my character does the slow vault a majority of the time even tho it shouldn’t have. Why when I throw a pallet down right before the killer hits be it completely cancles out when the killer gets close enough to it. It’s all a load of bs .I've had this issue with pallets. I'll be standing right by one and it will even show "PULL DOWN (Space)" but it won't let me use it, but it's also here and there, not every game.
I'd be curious on your honesty if this literally happens every game to you. I not truly every game but does happen, which I don't doubt, you might need to make sure on latency before staying in a lobby.
I learned quick, even as a new player, to look at the latency before I hit "Ready". I died often to running, then suddenly being back where I was.
Oh please. I get killers lagging in game who had green latency in lobby. Game not going their way? MOM START DOWNLOADING THINGS PLS.
I'm not really sure what your point is here. My post was in now way encouraging the OP to blame the game but merely stating that I've had issues here and there too, and I guarantee you have to. Welcome to any program on any platform.
So, sorry for missing your point, but your tone that seems to be disgruntled to me is confusing.

All I'm saying is don't encourage it and don't reward it.Survivors are the ones who do both. Why are you trying to punish the Killers because Survivors reward camping?
If survivors allow it instead of getting gens, yes you're right, but lets be honest. It's different in game because unless you're with friends and can chat 3 of you could be going to save the person losing precious time on generators. If there was in-game chat then it would be a moot point, but that would also be bad because... hell.. you can't just chat across a forest in real life.
So I get what you're getting at, and it's purely due to the game style, not because necessarily of the game mechanic.
And AGAIN.. I'm not saying PUNISH killers, I'm saying don't reward it. If a 5% movement debuff in a limited area is a punishment then please tell me why exactly you feel that way. It could very well be that I'm completely missing something. The killer can still camp if they want, just 5% slower. Hell they could even stand right on the body if they want, just with 5% slower. I'm not trying to remove camping, I'm trying to encourage fun gameplay, but you can't just blame/debuff a killer when like you said and are very right, survivors are to blame as well.

Before I offer opinions to your suggestions, I would like to inquiry about what rank you have progressed to playing killer. The reason I ask is playing killer at the lower ranks is much different than games against more experienced killers. The same I would like to ask of what rank you have made it to as survivor.Good point. I've run killer and survivor both at primarily rank 10-11.
EDIT: No sorry, forgot not shared ranks. Survivor 10-11 / Killer 13-14.
With all due respect, Brown/Yellow rank Killer games are meaningless, and your opinons on balance dont hold much weight. Survivors at that rank are complete potatoes.
Then why am I, even right now, watching rank 1 players with the same complaints? I'm not saying your post is invalid or rude, I mean no disrespect either and understand that lower (um, higher) rank means less experience in "true" gameplay, but I've taken others advice and been watching videos and twitch and such and I see the same stuff happening with the exact phrasing "and here we go again, infinite loop" or "Well they're dead, he's just sitting there camping".
Let just expand on camping. I'm NOT against camping. I'm NOT against it being a legitimate strategy when done right and is perfectly valid/okay for a killer to camp. All I'm saying is don't encourage it and don't reward it.
And BTW, I'm Green rank, not brown or yellow, and also I'm not a mechanic but I can change my own oil. A person doesn't have to be an expert at a subject to be able to contribute in a meaningful way.
Main point on that, which do you think is more profitable, more new people buying the game and adding to the community, or the people that are red ranked that already have the game and have no intention of buying it again. It's those new Brown/Yellows that bring in new money for development and expansion.

So I was looking for some advice and/or opinion on what to do and what should be done when a survivor(s) do not leaving the trial after the exit gates open?Recently I have had a lot of matches trying out new killers and a lot of the survivors have be exceptionally toxic both in game and post game PSN messaging and I can deal with that.
What really is annoying me is that some suvivours have been staying in the trial well after the exit gates have been opened and they have being teabagging me in never-ending loops in the map.
So my question is this, how do I counter this? 10 to 15 minutes of my time is wasted on this and I can't seem to do anything about it. Should gameplay mechanics be looked at to prevent this (e.g. 5 minutes to leave or do another 2 gens) or is this just going to be another way that killer mains get bullied by OP survivors?
Curious of people thoughts on this. I mainly do survivor so I don't have to deal with this but even as survivor I'll usually spectate just to see if people get away or learn from their gameplay and I'm sitting there screaming "just go through the f'ing door" when they do that.
It's unsportsmanlike and just pointless.
I will admit I may wait in the hallway to get last minute points for healing or a little hunt but I don't just run around or "teabag". I rather let us all get in another game and play some more.
I will say for my part, I think having to do more gens would be a bit too much, but I do like the idea of some kind of timer.
Maybe the doors start to close again instead. Even from the beginning. Would add some scare to it as well if you legitimately couldn't get to the door right away and you're running to it and see it slowly closing and it's still open just enough for you to make it through. Do you keep running for it, or try to kite and prepare to have to open the door(s) again.

God forbid someone be able to hold a conversation without disrespecting the developmentally delayed.Well last time I'll respond to you, just because it's of no value to the conversations.
I welcome anyone's opinion, including yours. Even if you think my thoughts are horrible and will break the game or a certain role but it's much more helpful if you actually phrase your reasons, ideas, or thoughts.
You want to hold a conversation but have contributed no value. Heck you haven't even said anything with enough context to be able to reply and expand on your post.
The only response you're allowing is one like this where I have to ask you what are your thoughts then so it can be discussed. You can assume I'm "developmentally delayed" or you can assume I'm "condescending", hell you can even call me a fat tard, just once you're done doing that, give your thoughts on why anything is a bad idea or good idea or what you would do differently or how you counter the concerns mentioned.

Camping lessens (though does not go away) as a survivor when you get in higher ranks. Survivors are more knowledgeable of the game mechanics and will punish a camper quickly. In the span of a first hook camp, survivors can finish 2-3 gens with ease.
On the killer side, the ranks you play at, Killer appears to be extremely easy. This is great part due to the lack of experience of the survivors. While Killer for the most part is more straight forward than survivor, I would dare to say it is in fact easier or simpler. Playing Killer at ranks 10-1 involve more strategy, skill and in depth knowledge of the killer. Survivor in those ranks, you pick up more skill and knowledge of the maps and how to use them to your advantage.
I appreciate the thought you put into the recommendations you presented. First off, there is no point deduction for camping. There is no penalty in place for it. You just end up with less points overall because camping as an overall strategy just does not work that well.
Camping is best used as a situational device, as is looping. Both suck for the opposing sides, but they are in fact fine strategies when used properly and well timed.
The best way to deal with camping and looping is honestly, avoid it. As a survivor, you see a camp, punish him. Gen rush him to death. He will get 1K and crap points. As for the wonderful looper, you see you are about to get sucked into a loop, break chase. Find another target. If all of them are loopers, well, that just gonna be a bad match. I think using game mechanics to punish what can be legit strategies is a bad idea. The reason these strategies work are because players allow them to work.
I know many will not agree with my views, and that is fine. We are all entitled to our own points of view. I do appreciate the respectful and thoughtful manner you presented your views Redplanet. I apologize I am not as well written as you but I hope my thoughts came across clearly.
- Agreed, I figure camping lessens as you move in ranks. I just want to note that, I'm not trying to remove camping, and it has already lessened some, I'm just say discourage it. I don't want to nerf killers I just don't want them getting so many points and BP for it.
- I saw once while killer at %5 reduction in points for what seemed like camping. I can't recall the exact wording or I'd mention it. If I see again I'll note it.
- Avoid camping and looping depending on role: Again I agree and appreciate the input, I try to actually apply new things people mention. The primary thing here is to reduce the likelihood of either boring strategy being used and rewarded too much so it remains an active fun match for both.
- I know many don't like my views either
, but not about agreeing, it's about discussing. Thanks for the thoughts I try to keep everyones comments in mind if I ever repost or update a post because I learned something new and meaningful.

also, as I'm sure you've already noticed, you're fighting a losing battle here on the forums... you can NOT say/imply/insenuate/or suggest that killers have an easier time, more fun , more rewarding gameplay, or anything of the such without invoking the wrath of the little gang that's formed here.
Agreed, like any forums, it can usually feel like a losing battle. Main reason I keep coming back to it is I actually learn a lot from comments, even the ones that or just trolling. If there's 50 trolls but 1 that recommends a video/strat/thought or what not that improves my game and helps me understand more to come up with different ideas, it's worth it in the long run.

10/11 - Survivor
13-14 - KillerAnd agree 100% lol. Freddy almost made me piss myself when I first started playing. Now I'm like, okay, I have 7 seconds to either finish this gen or start heading for an escape.

I guess I'll respond as best I can to posts as all in one
New player doesn't mean newborn. I've played games long enough to make logical conclusions and written my own games on the Unity engine to also understand that even me just saying any of this isn't as simple as an if/or/then equation in the code but other variables and tracking. So yes, I'm new, to this game, but even a newbie can see camping not being discouraged is a bring down on the game and I guarantee you not all new players keep trying like I do. So if you want stagnant community, call everyone that hates camping ######### because they've never played any game in their life so have no clue about this one.
For those saying "this can't be done because of this or that or they've tried it". I appreciate the input. This post is for discussion not for who's right and who's wrong. Though It's said they've tried some things I personally still feel something else needs to be tried.
For those who say, play for fun, not rank. Agreed. This game is not going to be my life lol, not even close, which is why it counters others saying "rise the ranks". I would love to. Though I'm not going to jot notes or such and I won't hate life if I don't climb the ranks I would like to succeed. This game should be looked as for the casual market for friends to bring in friends which is why I post my disdain for camping. Because of this, I've told my friends to hold off on getting the game.
Killers should be able to protect their kill or it's their right. Currently you're absolutely right, but I don't think it should be. There's some out there that one shot you then hook you. You really think I should be thinking about their "right" when my counter to a face punch is zig-zag. I'm not saying killers are broken, and honestly overall I think they have it a little tough (some anyway), but CAMPING should not be your answer to "life is rough, do it the cheap way". How is that fun for anyone? Killer stands silently in the dark only feet away from his victim. The victim squirms in agony..... still dark, killer still standing. THE VICTIM IS FRE.. no wait, just still squirming. (yawn)
For those saying climb the ranks and equip X. It sucks to have to have some special item but I don't argue this at all. I mean what game doesn't have "use this to help that", but again unfortunately it boils to, in a random group, it's hard to climb the ranks with a camper being rewarded with not only better ranking but tons of BP as well. I was all for getting more BP as a killer my first time playing one due to queue time, but of course there's more killers and longer times, its so simple to stock up BP while survivors have to hope that the 3 other people are able to read their minds for a good match up.
For those that say "Just DC, that's what me and my friends do". Uninstall is my recommendation to you. If you are just DC'ing you are just as bad as a camper. I never leave a match, I never flame, and I never troll. Not because I'm above it, I just wait until I understand the community more before I attack it, but I rather ask the devs to put the thinking caps on for a problem than create a whole new one myself and DC.
@Master - Thanks for the vid link, I did watch it, and that's a shame.. maybe. I mean, I'm not against camping, I'm against it being so simple and overpowered. Stand there, kill people, get BP and XP. Look at camping the way you look at BBQ and what the devs did on whatever nerf. They aren't against BBQ, just the way it functions. That's how I see camping. Yeah, keep it, it's a real thing just don't make it so rewarding and easy to do.
