Both killer dodging and survivor quick switch should be stopped. What I think would work is for killers once they enter a lobby they can't leave. When survivors enter they can't leave either and they are stuck with whatever build they have. The killer doesn't get a build lock as it lets them prepare for what the survivors are bringing in. 4 flashlights? Lightborn, toolboxes? Two anti gen perks. DoneThen we would need to have a ping filter though
Also a SWF filter would be necessary or killer will DC ingame as much as survivor currently do and I am not sure whether you want thatThen they should make the DC ban rate actually reasonable, and make it 10 or 5% DC rare. Not the absurd 80%; which no one can reach unless they literally rage quit hundreds of times
Have a counter or something that is visible and at 10 DC they cant play the game for 24 hours BUT have the DC counter reset each day( count ingame DCs for both sides and dont count lobby dodging (for the killer's sanity)) and have it be always be shown no matter what.
So 9 DCs per day are acceptable? I wonder how many games the average player plays per day....
If I would DC 9 times per day..... lolA DC has to lead to instant queue time punishment, it begins smal and will grow if the player keeps DCing. Obviously the DC punishment has to be the same for both sides
Well i belive that the trick is to instead of punishing DC we should make it so that its more rewarding to not DC at all you know?.
Like every 10 times you are in a game without DCing for like 10 mins get a token and at
10 tokens you get 100000k BP. It would reset to 0 when you dc and for every token you did not have (im not sure about this part) you get a day of 25% or more or less BP in whatever side you are playing as. And maybe you can't join the SWF mode for the duration of that penalty. Serial DC's increase the penalty by 25% up to 100% at which point no points( pun intended) for you. The penalty lasts for 10 days when you serial DC( two or more in a row) no matter what. Therefore we are rewarding not DCing instead of just punishing it which i think aint the solution.
Is they did give a counter, it should be ten EVERY MONTH. And reset with rank. DCing needs to be buckled down HARD
fair enough.

Everybody needs to stop crying about how unfair their role is...For Killer: Don’t complain about pallet loops, you can power through. Don’t complain about bodyblocks, you can drop somebody and down the blocker. Don’t say swf is unfair, accept loss or adapt to how they play. If they are over altruistic, camp. If they gen rush, limit chase time and patrol.
For Survivors: Stop crying about camping, make time for other survivors. Stop complaining about tunneling, try to hold the killer. Stop hating on sluggers, bring unbreakable.
Just stop crying and learn to play.
Agree with survivor's things
Not the killer's though.

It would make it so that at 3 gens and 2 people it would be a guarranteed 4 man no matter what. It was too strong and therefore reverted.

Honestly reward proactive killers make being hooked as a survivor carry a permanent debuff for the trial that reduces action speed or gen progression. This make tunneling less optimum as you will be rewarded better for hunting other targets.Every time devs try to come down on camping it's only made killers more toxic. This idea slows the game down which is badly needed. Promotes anti tunneling which this game could do with and plays better into the theme of the entity slowly devouring your strength and hope.
It´s not that killers become more toxic. But most killers are fed up to be called out on using non camping perks like BBQ and MYC and still be called a camper.
I don't know how often you play as a survivor, but i've seen MANY killers running BBQ and still camp really hard.
BBQ is for them sweet points ma man/woman.
Yes, but @Tsulan used that perk as an example, that's why i mentioned it.
And the killer only gets those sweet points if he hooks everyone once.
I has become increasingly hard to see survivors with BBQ. Partly because survivors finally hide behind gens, partly because the aura reading was nerfed on survivor demand. So i´m not really sure what survivors want. They want the killer to leave the hook, but don´t want him to come to them.
They want to be able to loop a killer for 5 gens, but don´t like the idea that he comes right to them after hooking someone else.
It´s really confusing.
And yes, i also hide from BBQ. But i don´t complain about camping or BBQ being OP.They want to bully and humiliate the killer into being powerless .

If you manage to catch that survivor, this perk will give all other survivors even more time on objectives, that survivor have free escape without only one downside (losing that perk slot for free escape! wow! what a downside, right?! hah). That chase will go on even much longer. If that survivor can loop rly well and know map rly well.... well it's almost all game one chase, gg. It's toxic, becuase you allready take so much time to even catch someone (I don't count noob survivors that go down fast) and then you have to deal with that ******. That's why.
Also, NOED have counterplay, yes, it's still kind off easy perk to use and carry you ezi, but it has counterplay (destroy totems, that's not that hardcore, you can even use "Small game" for it). DS don't rly have counterplay. Only counterplay to DS is that DS user will get down within few meters from hook and you can pick him up and down, but still "bodyblock" says hello, so it can be denied.
There is a manual counter to D strike but not a lot of people use it because it’s so rare it wont work majority of the time, but if you time it exactly right and swing at the exact same time they hit the skill check and I mean it has to be spot on, it move cancels D strike and doesn’t drop you, a friend of mine sent me the clip after a match they had and they weren’t in a being hooked animation and far from anything and it got canceled when it hit dead center, I tried it out as killer and it didn’t work for the longest time so I thought it was a fluke because you know how this game can be with bugs, but one day I nailed it dead on and the icon popped up on my screen but they didn’t drop.
So the killer has to hit a lullaby 5, invisible, small skill check that the survivor might not even hit? Holy [BAD WORD].

If a survivor outplays you in every way why do you keep chasing the same one? Go for another one, you should know that with those 1700 hours. Even you can make the other ones throw the pallets and break them so the good one won't be able to use them.
Stalling is not outplaying . There is a difference in the two.

I mean it is a one time use hit or miss so I don't see the problem with it.
It's no more of a get out of jail free card than NOED is.
what would be a good nerf to it if its to get needed? If you get the skill check the killers drops you but you still stay in the dying phase? If you land the skill check the killer drops you and you enter a borrowed time effect?
Or the killer can just go for you carefree now because you have wasted your only borrowed time?
There is one difference between NOED and DS, NOED usually affects only one survivor (assuming it wasnt countered) and it can be countered easily.
All survivors can use DS and it cant be countered

A bit but the killer can fake it or walk with his back to the wall to hide his stain and mindgame the survivor.

I like your killer idea it would bring even more variety to the killers.
But then each killer would have to have different modifiers .

Teabagging in gaming can be considered an attempt to humiliate, harass, provoke or bully another person, hence trolling and cyberbullying. Furthermore, the action is demeaning, derogatory and beyond human decency as it's based on the sexual act to teabag. There is a reason why it has led to high ranking players in other games to be temporarily banned for the action. Other game developers perceive it as an act of trolling, when for instance you have achievements with the naming Trolling and the act that nets you the achievement is teabagging someone. Furthermore, there are many different actions of varying degree that is considered cyberbullying. Its basically the online "middle finger" .
That is your interpretation of it! I disagree, it's a lot more than that. To you that would be the equivalent of the online "middle finger", where others certainly might see it a lot differently. There is a reason why people are are upset about it. If it was just the equivalent of the online "middle finger" I'm sure people wouldn't have that many problems with it. People do have a problem with it, so it's obviously more than that.
I think that the middle finger is the most offensive act that you can perform that excludes words and violence. Its disrespecfull and rude.
But i respect your POV as you make fair points as well.If i see you in game as killer i'll give you hatch (or try to at least)
You know, the middle finger is, just a finger. Where teabagging is different as it also includes motion, it depicts something something sexually demeaning and derogatory.
When someone gives me the middle finger, I either ignore them or just look at the finger and then back at the individual, then give the individual a puzzled / confused look - and respond with, yes thats a finger! Then watch their reaction.
The point of the matter is, it's because it's been attributed a meaning, but in reality, it's just a finger, nothing more, and it doesn't depict anything else than a finger.
..good to know, though I probably won't need the hatch anyways

Furthermore, there are many different actions of varying degree that is considered cyberbullying. It's not a targeted and persistent attack on a specific person, so it is not cyberbullying. Once again, please stop watering things down to suit your agenda/ideology. By adding "different actions of varying degrees" you make the word lose all power. It no longer has substance, and takes away from actual victims (because now anyone can claim they're a victim).
The only reason it could be considered trolling, again, is because of people like you who feel that they need to water down and change definitions. An insult is not trolling. Just because devs jokingly refer to it in an achievement does not make it a definition.
"Furthermore, the action is demeaning, derogatory and beyond human decency as it's based on the sexual act to teabag."
This statement is laughable. Do you see how overly sensitive you are being? It's just done to make you angry, that's all. And apparently it works like a charm.
"There is a reason why it has led to high ranking players in other games to be temporarily banned for the action."
In e-sports, yes, but not because it is cyberbullying. It would be considered unsportsmanlike conduct, just like in any other sport. But, seeing as this is not a competitive, e-sport, style game, and is way more casual, those rules don't apply here.
Not targeted and persistent? When it's being done by survivors against the killer, then there is a target, and if they keep on doing it, then it becomes persistent. I'm not watering the definitions down, they are what they are. In general there are a lot of actions that are or can be considered cyberbullying and / or trolling, these actions can be of varying degrees - the word doesn't lose power just because that is added. By your logic, that would be same as saying the word "criminal" loses all meaning when it's said that there are various types and severity of crimes. Nothing is taken away from any victims, there are many different types and severities of cyberbullying, the victims of any cyberbullying action isn't any less a victim. What I am saying though that is that teabagging can be consider one of the cyberbullying actions that can be done towards others, where the severity (with limits) depends on how the victim perceives and interprets the action.
How does that make me sensitive just because I acknowledge the fact that it is such, I haven't said anything in regards to how I react if people subject me to that, because it doesn't get to me, but I know it gets to others.
..and it seems you don't really acknowledge that.DbD not being competitive, well I disagree, it may not be par with certain other games, but it certainly is a competitive game, it's 4v1 game where you're competing to beat the other player(s) - it's competitive! Granted it's not an e-sport game (yet) - and you can't say those rules don't apply here, because who makes you the judge of that?
Im like 90% sure the middle finger is supposed to represent the sexual male organ .
And for me actions are more offensive than words . A random saying ""######### you" to me bothers me a little them im like "ok?". middle finger annoys( at best) me for the day and insults me at worst.
But i Should learn with your behavior. Also i hope you can recover from your ears as well.

I think its simply because of tecnical issues that they can't have seperate sound sliders for gameplay. And the abuses of course.Technical issues? I know enough about code and game development to know that if they can't specifically isolate specific sounds, then it's because they have designed to their own detriment. Because disabling certain sounds, can be as simple as setting as not having the sound trigger at all.
How exactly can you abuse disabling character screams?
you could make it so that for example as killer you hear moans louder than intended or get the music to be super quiet you know that kind of thing.
In Dbd everything can be abused so the devs need to be super carefull with that .
I wish that they implement a "fade to black flashlight screen" as i get eye pain when i see too much white in my screen multiple times.
How can you make a scream louder, IF it's DISABLED?
I know you could abuse that kind of thing, IF, and only if you could adjust the those specific sounds.
But I'm litterally talking about completely disabling them, thats quite different - How exactly could you get an unfair advantage from DISABLING the character screams?Because the character screams are intended to cover up other sounds. Every bit of the sound design is intentional, including the fact that you can't lower or disable any specific sounds.
..and what sounds would those be exactly that the screams are intended to cover up and why exactly are those needed to be covered by the screams?
Other Survivors around, for example. The point is for the sound to be disorienting for both Survivors and Killers.
But the scream doesn't disorient anyone, and certainly not other survivors who have 3rd person view.
..and how would it be disorienting to the killer? Covering up the sounds of nearby survivors, that would also be covered up other game sounds.######### thats a good point.

Its because sound in this game is key to the players as well.

Teabagging in gaming can be considered an attempt to humiliate, harass, provoke or bully another person, hence trolling and cyberbullying. Jajajajajaja stop being a pussy, you deserved it. I always have tryhard killers, campers, tunnelers, rage quitters, who complains about looping, who complains about sabo hooks... I teabbaged them and will always do it. Just getgud and stop cry about it. This is a surv side game i mean #########?Jesus.....
Dude it's the true. Being Killer sucks and it's triggering af. I always play surv and sometimes killer for fun; some matches i get 4k, another ones any kills but i don't open a thread in the forum to cry and complain about toxic survivors. I just move on and play other match.
I know that. But the way you expressed yourself does not help. Just be a bit empathetic next time please.
I vote you as next mod. We need more compassion these forums.
Thanks mate . I'll treasure you forever and everr

Just why? It's used to incite a reaction, and people who don't know that is like a 5yo waving around the middle finger, you wanna tell them stop but u can't hit kids so they keep doing it.I ask ppl after matches y they do it, and of course reactions are dismissive as u would expect when dealing with something as complex as a question: Why do u tbag? I'm met with anger and laughter, both are just as humiliating as the tbagging itself.
I don't camp hooks so idk y ppl do insist on doing it. I don't want some BS answer like an dumb joker quote, or tell me to ignore it, or tell me bc the internet is a place where u can act any way u want and get away with it. I'm so sick of never getting any genuine answers.
its specifically only for "no reason at all facecampers" and "slug guards".

Bagging doesn't matter. If you are being bagged they're only wasting time they could be using to run away. It is childish and if you're a mature adult you won't get tilted by it because it doesn't matter.I guess feeling are not for adults then s/.

It’s ok I mean you didn’t call anyone names or tell anyone to kill themselves or make ######### jokes and think it’s funny (that would be bad). but I mean it happens to the best of us don’t tripOh also I’m glad you’re posting about leatherface buffs (he needs them) but if you ever have any other suggestions feel free to post them! The community always has great ideas and I’m always hoping Devs will see it and be like “we should add/change that”.
What I mean to say is this is a forum it’s not a dictatorship (contrary to popular belief) post what you want as long as it has to do with DBD it’s cool with me!

Thank you!
I'm just rather embarrassed about the whole thing so I just wanted to take the mans approach and own up to my wrongdoing
And those Leatherface suggestions are gonna keep on coming!
Its all right you are playing killer and only unfeeling robots would not experience anger at playing it at some point.

Even tho I play with one hand I played killer and literally 4 killed 5 games in a row... what is up with this patch?"
Its literally impossible to play killer one handed( and survivor too by the way).
LITERALLY.
(I know it was a copy paste from the OP dont worry)
You r wrong... I only play with the mouse 1 handed. I am just rly good at games is all. God like most would say.

@superspy631 said: lui How the [BAD WORD] did a "camper" kill 2 survivors before you and you only did 4 gens only? I smell ######### tho Simple. Survivor 1 is hooked, survivor 2 and 3 hover around the hook while survivor 4 does gens. Survivor 2 is hooked, survivor 3 hovers around the hook while survivor 4 does gens. Survivor 3 is hooked, survivor 4 walks around the map looking for hatch.
Survivor 3 dies on the hook, and the only survivor who did the correct thing to counter camping escapes through the hatch.
But then clearly camping worked or am i tripping?
Also aint that the survivor's fault as well?.
Camping works because the survivors choose to reward it.
yeeeeeeeeeee.
