Stop crying for nerfs
Everybody needs to stop crying about how unfair their role is...
For Killer: Don’t complain about pallet loops, you can power through. Don’t complain about bodyblocks, you can drop somebody and down the blocker. Don’t say swf is unfair, accept loss or adapt to how they play. If they are over altruistic, camp. If they gen rush, limit chase time and patrol.
For Survivors: Stop crying about camping, make time for other survivors. Stop complaining about tunneling, try to hold the killer. Stop hating on sluggers, bring unbreakable.
Just stop crying and learn to play.

Agree with survivor's things
Not the killer's though.
Of course you don't, you are SO killer sided.
Despite me being a survivor main i gotta agree with that. Ofc i can say camping or tunneling is annoying, but that's it.
of course i am s/.
The No-Pip Squad has irrefutably proven that an organised SWF group that only focuses on doing their objective is close to unbeatable. Game mechanics at their core are flawed. There's no such thing as adapting to that. You can't overcome inherently broken mechanics if the other side makes full use of them.
Most of what they upload are succesful matches, they also get rekt, and by freddy once. Also, for what i've seen, the killers i saw "losing" the match kinda sucked or made several mistakes.
That is false. Their experiment always consisted of 100 consecutive trials with the same set-up, then another 100 consecutive trials with a different set-up and so on and so on.
You can watch every single match of them, they aren't just "uploads of the best matches".
Please stay factual if you participate in a discussion, lies and untruths won't take you far.
Even that, a 1vX has always been possible in PvP games and the only thing it takes are skills. I know this is the different cause this is a "4v1", but it's no like survivors can kill the killer, so i hope you get what i mean.
As i said, killers sucked in the videos i watched, and when they don't, they get rekt. There are uploaded videos where you can see that.
So now you claim that all those red rank Killers sucked. Sorry, that's not how it works. The vast majority of Killers couldn't pip in those games, the Survivors had all the control. That is a flawed core game design and has to be changed. There is NO adapting to that, because it is impossible.
Survivors can at any given moment decide to play like the No-Pip Squad every single trial and the kill rate would drop dramatically across all ranks. That most Survivors don't choose to play like that is irrelevant, they could decide to do so any time, they have that option. An option that should not exist in this game if it were balanced.
Why should killers stop calling for nerfs?
The game is still poorly balanced.
Yeah yeah just break the pallet.
Just patrol
i agree with you, people just cant stand admiting the got outplayed
You can complain about both things.
Stalling is not outplaying.
Gentlemen this is what we call fatigue. If you hate complaining just play the game. The problems with swf in DBD is that de-pip squad released a play-style that is unbeatable in the current meta. Now people are using this technique to crush all the killers. The devs haven't done anything to limit this strat and as a result you have high rank players getting 3 min long games. This is a blatantly broken strategy in the game that you haven't experienced enough to understand that queuing up for 5 mins of waiting for a 3 min games is ridiculous. People will argue that this is not the case that not everyone is doing this that only a small percentage are using and there right to a degree. Its can only become more often encountered as the strat becomes more and more popularized. But do go on explain how inaction is going to make this game more enjoyable. Btw i wouldn't be knocking the strat if i didn't try it and i can say with certainty this strat is broken.
I've seen this stated a few times recently, and it's a pretty confusing statement. Can you please elaborate on this?
Basically its when i know you are running in the same exact places that millions have ran(and i know your routing too by the way) but my character (a non nurse killer basically can't counter it unless they ######### up ) just to stall me without any attempt to lose or outplay me . Its very frustrating. Especially when people say that that is outplaying the killer(its not).
They showed the cold hard truth to everyone (some refuse it though). They released nothing .
Well what do you suggest a survivor does? If I’m getting chased by a killer of course I’m gonna do a little looping. Who doesn’t loop the killer around? The killer is gonna gain bloodlust fast and unless I’m Claudette wearing a green shirt, I’m probably not going to be able to hide in the grass very effectively. You have to loop sometimes to lose the killers interest because you can’t always depend on losing the killer in tall grass or the corn field. A competent killer will know when you vaulted into a locker and unless you have Iron Will 3 you are probably not gonna lose the killer when injured unless you loop and lose the interest. Looping is a viable strategy just the same way tunneling and camping could he considered a viable strategy at times.
No, I know what looping is. I want you to explain to me how stalling the killer and getting them away from the other survivors that are doing gens is not outplaying the killer.
Because it is outplaying the killer. You're not seeing the forest for the trees. If a killer gets "stalled" while multiple gens are completed, then the killer got outplayed. It's like playing chess and only watching the moves of one pawn. There's a larger strategy there (that doesn't even need to be communicated, so don't bring SWF into this) that the killer is missing.
So the Killer lets the opponent he should crush 1v1 live, goes to chase another one, boom, looped again. Goes for the third one, boom looped. Fourth one, looped. Oh, wait, all gens have been repaired because looping has no downsides.
Nope. Put pressure on the gens, making the game take longer, chip away at the survivors and force them to make mistakes instead of waiting for them to, and take advantage of those mistakes in order to get the sacrifice. Like I said, it's like chess. I see a lot of talk about mindgames, but it never extends past a pallet or jungle gym.
Don't let the survivors control the pace of the match, take control of the match and force them to make poor decisions. Every time you try to "crush" the survivor by chasing them down through multiple pallets, you're playing into their game.
At the end of the day, you are getting outplayed simply by chasing any one survivor for too long.
Now another question: does it strike you as balanced that the Killer has to consistently lose chases (which are 1v1, where the power role in an asymmetrical game is supposed to crush the opponent) to win the game?
Maybe it's more that your fundamental concept of "my power role is based on crushing opponents" is flawed.
Maybe, just maybe, the idea that "the job of the killer is to kill" is false. Look at it from a different angle. The job of the player is to win. So, if we instead look at it that way, the killer is supposed to, before anything, mitigate gen progression, in order to increase match time and pressure on the survivors, which brings the end result of capitalizing on this combination of time and pressure in order to get sacrifices.
Here's the problem, so long as you let the survivors dictate the rules of the match, you don't have the power role. This isn't something the devs can fix, or the survivors. Only you can fix it. The killer in most matches is submissive, chasing instead of forcing.
Learn what an actual power role is, and become it.
Are you saying that in an asymmetrical role, the power role isn't supposed to be able to defeat the number role 1v1, regardless of what the number role does?
No, I'm saying that your definition of power role is flawed. You can easily defeat any survivor in a 1v1, mechanically. You can down them, hook them, and sacrifice them. None of these things can be done to you by the survivor. But, if you, as a player, cannot beat the survivor because you can't take your blinders off and be the actual power role on the entire map, then you are submitting yourself to the survivor and handing them the power role.
A power role isn't mechanics, it's psychology and strategy.
I hope you're never in any position to affect the development of an asymmetrical game.
I'm more than willing to sit here and listen to your opinions on it. I'm not closed-minded, and my opinion can be changed.
Or you can just make snide remarks. Either or.
And thats the post where logic was murdered in a brutal and horrifying way.
Thats still just stalling. Not outplaying tho.
Elaborate
Please, prove me wrong.
i could try but a wall wont budge right?
I hope so too.
False. How is it the survivor stalling you if you're the one adding pressure to them? Try again.
Please read the following quote from me. Also, you may want to step away from the forum and take a good, long, introspective look in the mirror before making statements like that.
Look, I gave a rational way to actually deter genrushing and looping, and take back the true power role in the match.
The ball is now in your court. So are you going to:
A. Further the discussion like a rational human being?
B. Keep parroting the same tired talking points that killers on this forum overuse daily?
C. Try to be witty and fail miserably?
yeah i was out of line i apologize.
I actually say this because when i think outplay its more like lose LOS and lose the killer more than anything really. And if as killer i break of the chase to press gens i go there ,kick the gen and 5 seconds later the surivivor either touches the gen and nulls the gen progress or continues repairing it because i have to check the other gens and they will probably just loop you the same and in my experience i would lose like that (or win if im survivor).
sorry for me atitude.
