It's not a problem though.
You can easily avoid it. If they all don't ready up till it's like ~10sec left then just dodge.Or Neo facecamp them . I prefer dodging though.

Both killer dodging and survivor quick switch should be stopped. What I think would work is for killers once they enter a lobby they can't leave. When survivors enter they can't leave either and they are stuck with whatever build they have. The killer doesn't get a build lock as it lets them prepare for what the survivors are bringing in. 4 flashlights? Lightborn, toolboxes? Two anti gen perks. DoneThen we would need to have a ping filter though
Also a SWF filter would be necessary or killer will DC ingame as much as survivor currently do and I am not sure whether you want thatThen they should make the DC ban rate actually reasonable, and make it 10 or 5% DC rare. Not the absurd 80%; which no one can reach unless they literally rage quit hundreds of times
Have a counter or something that is visible and at 10 DC they cant play the game for 24 hours BUT have the DC counter reset each day( count ingame DCs for both sides and dont count lobby dodging (for the killer's sanity)) and have it be always be shown no matter what.
So 9 DCs per day are acceptable? I wonder how many games the average player plays per day....
If I would DC 9 times per day..... lolA DC has to lead to instant queue time punishment, it begins smal and will grow if the player keeps DCing. Obviously the DC punishment has to be the same for both sides
Well i belive that the trick is to instead of punishing DC we should make it so that its more rewarding to not DC at all you know?.
Like every 10 times you are in a game without DCing for like 10 mins get a token and at
10 tokens you get 100000k BP. It would reset to 0 when you dc and for every token you did not have (im not sure about this part) you get a day of 25% or more or less BP in whatever side you are playing as. And maybe you can't join the SWF mode for the duration of that penalty. Serial DC's increase the penalty by 25% up to 100% at which point no points( pun intended) for you. The penalty lasts for 10 days when you serial DC( two or more in a row) no matter what. Therefore we are rewarding not DCing instead of just punishing it which i think aint the solution.

How the [BAD WORD] did a "camper" kill 2 survivors before you and you only did 4 gens only?
I smell ######### tho
Simple.
Survivor 1 is hooked, survivor 2 and 3 hover around the hook while survivor 4 does gens.
Survivor 2 is hooked, survivor 3 hovers around the hook while survivor 4 does gens.
Survivor 3 is hooked, survivor 4 walks around the map looking for hatch.
Survivor 3 dies on the hook, and the only survivor who did the correct thing to counter camping escapes through the hatch.
But then clearly camping worked or am i tripping?
Also aint that the survivor's fault as well?.

It’s a waste of perk slot tbh, if you run the killer around on purpose or are just always the first one found is the only time it’s useful and if for any reason you miss it like against a doctor with unnerving presence, (you don’t really know where it’s gonna pop up and it’s so small that you probably won’t hit the skill check, but may get lucky.) then what? You’re the obsession he may have dying light and you being found first just hurt your team and you at that point because once they find the obsession and injure them , you can guarantee they will tunnel until you are out even if they drop over and over to the hook or swing at exact the same time you hit the d strike and cancel it out completely
strongly disagree is useless since 3 or 4 survs mostly use it in every single match (ranked around 13)
I never use DS but I can agree that at least one or two have DS in every match when playing high ranked , my opinion is it’s a waste of a perk slot while others love it , I would rather have something more useful there
I dont have it purely for moral reasons myself. Il never use such stupidity in my life( unless its well nerfed).

And they'll simply get dodged if they don't.
One problem exists because of another. They shouldn't be addressed separately.
Killers will just DC with last-second switches or make sure last-second switchers die first and as annoyingly as possible. I'd rather they lobby dodge.
Trying to force people to play games they consider unfun will never work. Survivors need to get over themselves and accept that Killers are not going to play with them if they use things that are unbalanced.
D/Cs are punished and offer BP to the opposing side. Lobby dodging is sanctioned, unlimited, effortless, and onesided.
Killers need to understand that it works both ways. If they take issue with survivors d/cing after seeing a hidden offering or "unbalanced" add ons, then they're hypocrites for dodging survivors with what they "think are unbalanced". Players should be able to use the items they want-and have rightfully earned-without fear of anyone deciding "not to play with them".

A bad killer won´t get hooks. Meaning no unhook points, no heal points. Survivors and killers get roughly the same amount of BPs per time spend. Not per match, but per time spend. If a survivor performs bad, he can just jump into a new match. Killer has to stay until everyone leaves.Personally if i get big emblems it was a good BP game too (16000 BP more or less).

That was the 4th time I did this to this killer, it should have been 3 but he left me slugged one time and I got up. He was camping hooks super hard, so I did this to him. He got me, but I play to die so what (still pipped), but because of this everyone else got out. I was tapping gens around the map and 2 popped about 40 seconds after I died here and then they escaped. I can make those saves that are impossible and force the killer to take my hook because he can't slug me like a normal survivor. He has to hook me, and when I don't struggle he takes me far away for BBQ/event hook, my team finishes gens and leaves.
Dude, I didn't know you played on Xbox.
PC is an entirely different beast. I should know, I have 1000 hours on console.
And I'm telling you, things are different. This build of yours won't hold up on PC. The killers are much better.
Not trying to be mean or anything, that's just my observation. No Mither is not a very good perk on PC.
You don't understand what I'm doing though. I can make saves other players can't. I can force the killer to come get me. If you are an obsession I can take hits for you to save pallets/DS. Now the killer here wasn't very good. I have no doubt killers on PC are better, but when I'm playing to ensure my team survives it works as long as my teammates don't make mistake they get out. This guy wasn't a very good killer, evidenced by the fact of what his strategy was (camp/tunnel someone from the start of the game with LF). But I can do this to good killers and still pip, and give lots of chances to other survivors in the trial to stay alive.
The problem is survivors put on NM and play to escape. That's not how you use NM. You have to play like you are definitely going to die so you should do everything you can to make sure your team stays up. Does it work every game? No but I will usually still safety pip at least. It works you just have to not play like a normal survivor and try to escape. You have to play like a NM survivor and play like you are going to die any second.
I've also done stuff like get on a killers totem as they chase the obsession around it. I make them come pull me off, and because of Resil I do the totem faster than normal. If they ignore me their totem is gone, if they hit me or grab me they have to take my hook. They can't slug me, I will literally sit at that totem and get up until either it's gone or the killer takes my hook. When they do, the obsession takes the totem. It's lose-lose for the killer. If they slug me they will have to come back there EVERY time I get up, and I won't get up until I see them chase someone else or I know they are far away. I'll sit at 99% if they want to camp me slugged and their totem, but now the others can just gen rush. I force the killer to exchange a hook for a totem or lose the game because they wasted WAY too much time on me. Normal survivors can't exactly do that because they play to escape, so when the killer approaches them on a totem they don't want to take a hook because they aren't injured. But for NM guy, it doesn't matter, I'm dead anyway.
If i use no mither its for extra challange and to survive with it if i can. Not to intentionally die though.

Camping the special gens is just being an ######### though. You sound like a really typical killer main (no offense) by saying it is stupid for them to sabo only special hooks to stop you from getting your objective but it isn't for you to camp their gens and stop them from getting their objective. We should let each other get the objectives if they are skilled enough. Sure you should put pressure on them, but commit to a chase and don't prioritze the gens when you need the hooks. Camping the gen gets you no where against good survivors because they will just do a different one and suprise, you lost the game
I never said anything about hooks( you can say it also makes sense to sabo them to save a teammate or similar).

By "trash list" I mean "######### list" but I don't know if that'll get "bad worded."People you've played with and went "nope, I will never play with you again," and you'll hard lobby dodge?
After some specific encounters, I started the list, either people that were toxic, extremely good (hey, if you're that good, you shouldn't be rank 15. If you have the right to depip, I have the right to remember your name and choose to not play with you), or just asses.
For example, last game! I won't name names, as much as I want to, but I was playing hillbilly on one of the steel factory maps. I burnt an invite, and so did one survivor. I already have the chops and everything, I'm just burning them for the extra bloodpoints. I mean, 5.5k is quite a bit for a single hook.
Anyways, game starts as usual. Me running into walls, occasionally hitting people, the works (I don't play hillbilly often. His controls feel weird to me). Then I get an audio notification. It isn't near any thing, odd. I go over there, and a claudette with a toolbox is walking away from my event hook. I'm relatively pissed off, chase her down, and pick her up. I see one event hook nearby is already broken, and I take her back to the one she failed a skillcheck on, and throw her on it, and proceed to camp until she dies, ignoring the baiting of her friends that come to try and save her. She's dead. (I do hit her several times and then chainsaw sprint into her. Partly for points, and partly because I'm fairly peeved). No one that directly attacks my bloodpoints is going to remain in my game if I have any input. (Spoiler, as the killer carrying a downed survivor, I do.) After she dies, game continues like normal, and afterwards they abuse me for facecamping. As if I was the instigator, and it wasn't a natural conclusion of their actions.
Yes, this is a rant because I'm frustrated with some people. But question remains: like me adding these names to my list, do you have a list of people you refuse to play with again?
I do have a very long memory for really hard griefers and toxic people too. Not a list per se tho.

Omg, you're an actual idiot.
Killers can't use SWF. That was the whole point of my statement. I was mocking you for thinking I was survivor main.
And no the devs won't put voice chat in the game. Just like they won't nerf SWF specifically.
Jesus Christ, when you try to argue against a point mocking you for making assumptions. SovererignKing said:
For the love of... YOU SAID IT. “If you’re just dodging for easy matches, it’s not justified” Who the ruddy hell said it was going to be easy going up against 4 random players? Those randoms could very well stomp a Killer. Easy, hard, it doesn’t matter. SWF provides an advantage, even without voice comms, that the game was not designed or balanced around. Period. Now tell me, what’s your justification for gaining an advantage over your opponent, simply because you clicked SWF and not play solo? What’s your justification for using voice comms? Right, you have none, for either. You should NOT be getting an advantage over the opponent simply because you clicked SWF, and not play solo.
Yeah I did say that if you're dodging for easy matches you're not justified for doing it. I said that SWF is in the game for two years now and the developers haven't done any nerfs to that group specifically.
I never said you can't dodge or that SWF is easier then solos. You said you dodge against SWF team because you find it too hard.
So, I ask ######### are you even doing? I never made any argument about survivors being justified at all in their matches. Like what in the actual [BAD WORD] is this paragraph? SovererignKing said:
Here’s a tip : You should proof read what you type before you post. If I’m not justified in dodging lobbies for “easier games”, then you’re not justified playing SWF for “easier games” either. “Just deal with it” is basically you saying “Look, SWF gives the Survivors advantages that the game was not balanced or designed around. Deal with it.” Yeah, cause that’s what I want to play. An unbalanced and unfair game that’s stacked against me more than it’s supposed to be... because Survivor players clicked on a game mode.
SO WHAT THE [BAD WORD] IS THE POINT OF THOSE REPLIES.
You agree with me that killers aren't justified to dodge lobbies for easy wins. And yet I don't know how to proof-read?
“Just deal with it” is basically you saying “Look, SWF gives the Survivors advantages that the game was not balanced or designed around. Deal with it.”
Yeah because that's what I said...

I never said deal with it because it's fair, but because it's part of the game for two [BAD WORD] years. I said don't be surprised if they don't do any nerfs to SWF. Like how they haven't done for nerfs for them for two years.
But please continue this is funny as #########. SovererignKing said:
Whitelisted doesn’t matter. It still provides an advantage the game was not designed for. Doesn’t mean I can’t lobby for the developers to place restrictions on SWF groups that make the game harder (like for instance and extra 20 seconds per Gen), that makes it fair.
Again, who do you think you arguing against?
I never said that SWF are not at an advantage. I said killers aren't justified to dodge matches for easy wins.
Also it's cute that you think programs that have an affect on the game being white listed doesn't matter. Of course they do. Considering an application called Curse Voice (a voice chat program) is allowed for support for Dead By Daylight, you have no justification to dodge SWF simply because they talk to each other.
Sucks I know.
Link in case you don't believe me.

We call our friends ######### just for saying hello.
What's your excuse for flipping out over my first reply? SovererignKing said:
Lobby dodging because your opponent(s) have an unfair advantage from the get go is justification. How would you like it if we played Tekken or some other fighting game, and if your opponent so choices to “just hit a button” it automatically forces a handicap match on you? If you win, congratulations, you get the same reward you would have gotten if your opponent didn’t hit that button. Oh, if you lose, you get the same punishment as well. Little bit infuriating to lose Rank and the such because you got stuck in a handicap match you had no say so over, huh? How would you like it if I could just pick “Easy Mode” as Killer, and all Survivors automatically had the No Mither effect applied? Sound fun?
No, it's [BAD WORD] entitlement. It's not justified at all.
Considering that a fighting game and an asymmetrical game about slashers have nothing in common with each other, I'm inclined to think you pulled this outta your ass too.
Who the [BAD WORD] cares about Rank? Of all things you could have chosen to ######### about in this game, you pick rank?

Dodging isn't for “easy” matches, it’s for fair matches.
So you admit you dodge lobbies because you think it's fair to do so.
Congrats you just proved your entitlement in that one sentence.
You're not justified to dodge lobbies because you think it's fair for the same reason you are not justified as a survivor to dictate what the killer can do in his matches.
I said this before, I said this again.
Get a [BAD WORD] grip.
fair as in fair to win(not bullshit games where you only win if they want you to).

They also divided by 3 the speedboost of BL2.
It's not "only BL3".While true they're trying to make it much more smooth without having to take into account BL3. I'm going to wait and see what actually hits PTB for testing.
It's just a plain nerf while the maps are still broken. The main issue when it comes to bloodlust, for survivors, is the fact that bloodlust 3 is used to cheese free hits because some pallets become unsafe because of it. The main issue if you nerf bloodlust is that actual players will be hindered by the nerf since survivors will be able to loop windows brainlessly and get rewarded for it.
The real nerf bloodlust need is the removal of bloodlust 3 and a slight increase in speed to acquire bloodlust 2.
This way, you force survivors to use more pallets in a chase to break bloodlust, and you do not empathize cheesing and lame tactics such as using the same window repeatedly or using bloodlust to cheese hits.Tho I doubt it's gonna happen since these devs prefer to bandaid rather than actually think it through.
yeah. If you just take BL 3 i will be able to do 3 turns of the shack at best (and maybe even not using the god plank and take a hit instead to be more efficient too.

Isn't the purpose of the White Ward to keep you from losing an item? I took in a purple tool box with white ward perk so I wouldn't lose it if I died and the Killer did not did have Franklin's demise. Why did I lose my toolbox when I died? You need to have the item you brought in to the match in your hands.

Btw OP, did it ever come into your mind that people are not trying to be ######### by try to have fun, and don't really think it's "bad" to t-bag?
Please stop spreading bs like "t-bagging = #########". Thanks. Not to be that guy but if you know that certain behaviours are considered by the large populace as bad manners why do them exactly? Because i dont and i (most of the time) killers are decent with me.

I usually play as a survivor, but when i play as a killer, drop the pallet on me and t-bag afterwards i honestly laugh xD I think survivor's faces and moves are pretty hilarious.

I Agree. Then they ask "Why facecamp( it does not exist anymore by the way). You obviously have no idea what they mean by "face camp" then.
Facecamp was and still is "blocking the unhook prompt by standing still in front of the survivor usually with your(killer) face facing the hooked survivor hence the word "facecamping". Since that is not possible anymore facecamping got patched out and therefore it was removed so "it does not exist anymore by the way".

Vietfox said:No, it's fine the way it is. The more slots we get the more similar builds will be.
You mean like DS, SC, SB and BT or Unbreakable?
We already have that.Vietfox said:
BACKSTABBER said:a 5th perk is strictly needed as reaward for prestige 3 or devotion levels
Cause [BAD WORD] beginners, right? It's fine the way it is right now, and if you think a 5th slot is STRICTLY needed you might rethink about your gameplay and skills.
I agree. Older players shouldn't be at a advantage.
Older players (usually) have the best perk of the game : game sense.

Today during a game, at the end, the killer was like. "Tried to flashlight save, kind of bm (bad manners or whatever)"
Then left.
Never thought I would see a killer call a mechanic of the game bm.Yeah some killers are just dumb dumbs too.

Yeeeee.

Easy matches my ass. Randoms who are good at the game can stomp Killers without the help of voice comms. Where’s your justification for using voice comms? You can play with your friends without them. Or you can compensate for having that “extra help” by slapping on No Mither. Won’t do that though, will you? Look in the mirror dude, you want to call Killers chicken ######### and “only want easy matches”? What about you and your friends? You want easy matches. Why don’t you, and a large portion of the Survivor community, man up and accept you’re getting help you shouldn’t be getting and play fair with Killers? LOL what the [BAD WORD]? Why are you so triggered? It's also cute you think I'm a survivor main. Must be because I disagreed with you being justified to dodge matches unless you're going to be harrassed. I also never said anything about voicechat being justified at all. You really showed me by arguing against a point I wasn't making. Good job. I don't care how bad the balance is in this game, no one is justified to a win. Sorry to burst your bubble but I prefer to not have this victim mentality that plagues the killer community nowadays.
Seriously, what in the actual [BAD WORD] lol.
I belive killers have the right to avoid potential Ebulliying seesions though.
Everyone should have the right to avoid toxicity.
Right now, only killers have that option through lobby dodging.
I remember only one truly toxic killer and whenever i saw his/her profile with shift/tab i said " Oh its a "insert their profile name here" and i just did my thing. it was when to pip you needed 10000K BP. If the person facecamped me it was sorta normal and good because i wanted to face a normal killer as well so i was fine. The rest were like mostly normal ( i never saw the same facecamper twice in a row for one.

And china pings too.

When i play survivor (personal view on the matter) I know what the killer feels when camping ( a feeling of impotence or powerlessness (or its an idiot)) so i empathise with them and i dont get mad at them i get "mad" at the game itself.
SWF mostly have no reason to be bullies unless i was a jerk from the start( and its rarely unprovocked(bad english sorry) or they want to ruin my day and i will 100% do the same to them as best i can too. Be nice too me im nice to you too.
