Imagine this guy posting a thread saying "Because deliverance exists, I am camping every survivor to half after the first survivor gets unhooked" and that's about what this thread is. And that's if deliverance could fail; while also putting you to death stage immediately when it does.

Maybe you only play as survivor, which is my guess, but if you play as killer and don’t adapt to the situation you’re dumb. You talk about Deliverance existing, I’m talking about a pretty clear sign that they were running a Kobe build. Imagine the game starting and seeing 4 no Mither, at that point if you don’t adjust for a sabo build you’re just dumb. Of course that’s been nerfed to the ground but I think you get my point.

Likewise as survivor if you see a killer burn the Game you’re assuming 99% it’s either Doctor with terror perks or a stealth killer. If you don’t hear the doctor immediately you should be extra alert for grabs.

  • I’m not confusing anything, their build was a “try hard,” build it includes 3 meta perks and the 4th perk was made strong by the stacked offerings. If you’re going to try to say that because it includes slippery meat it isn’t try hard then I can say the same.

Despite using 3 meta perks and a broken addon the huntress build I listed is, by your reasons, isn’t a meta or try hard build because it includes STBFL which is a stupid perk on huntress. Memes lolz

Well this begs the question is the original universe canon to this game or would it run on a separate canon for the game since if its the former then its still under the control of the mindflayer and its strong enough to break into the entity's dimension if its the latter the enitiy either snatched it up and overridden the mindflayers control.

Lol that picture! Yeah, I wanna say the Demo isn’t from the Stranger things universe... Except Steve and Nancy mention it in their lore so maybe they are from that universe but it isn’t

  • @RakimSockem said:

    1. The 4th perk wasn't specified by the OP nor how many people were running it which is why I asked for clarity
    2. Actually in this case, those "meta perks" are clearly a part of the meme. You unhook yourself if it works, then when the killer inevitably comes back to tunnel you, you either hit them with DS, or they leave you and you get up with Unbreakable. That's the meme. It doesn't work without those 2 perks. This strategy literally provides no tactical advantage and if anything, gets you killed faster.
    3. It also isn't even a guarantee that slippery meat will get you off the hook even with the luck offerings so it's literally just a meme build to see if you can pull it off.

    @SquirrelKnight @johnmwarner

Like I said then, Iri head huntress with NOED, ruin, Pop and STBFL is obviously a meme build because STBFL lol right?

  • @SquirrelKnight said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1527868#Comment_1527868

They didnt go a "meme" build they used a meta build with luck offerings, having 1 non meta perk (slippery meat) does not mean that they arent running meta

Thank you!!! Finally someone that gets it. I have a feeling the people above us would run DS, DH, Unbreakable and plunder OMG and say look at their super fun build, not sweaty at all right?

Its like saying an Nurse running Pop, Infectious, NOED and monstrous shrine is just chilling out.

  • This warrants Mori + NOED, also if killer switch was still around suddenly I’m becoming Spirit with the speed ring... as it is I’ll bring whatever my current killers best addons are, considering huntress is my current main that’s fun...

  • @terumisan said:

Its evil and an animal because demo recieves orders from the mindflayer but i forgot how this one got here but how it goes about killing is how an animal would

It really doesn’t even say how it got here in the lore, just that being a hunting machine makes it perfect for the entity.

Lets be honest, it’s all about the License and the popularity on Demo/stranger things. All of the other killers had a sadistic streak or some sort of motivation to become “evil,” the Demo doesn’t fit that mold if it wasn’t a hugely popular franchise it wouldn’t be here.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/181159/camping-because-you-stacked-luck-offering-sorry-i-m-not-dumb

Did all 4 of them have Slippery, DS, and Unbreakable or just like one or two of them.

Also good job at discouraging a meme build. Guess it's back to the meta for them. You showed them. Last time they'll ever try to meme..... -_-

    Why are people so anti-fun???

Three of them, also I love how people keep saying Slippery meat, DS, unbreakable and An exhaustion perk isn’t a meta build.

First of all even in a normal game that’s three meta perks, secondly stacked luck offerings makes Slippery meat pretty strong.

  • @DaKnight said:

Filthy genrushing, crutch perk reliant, slippery meat abusing SWFs.

I'm facecamping everyone I get on hook to half because they snuck a chalk pouch into the match, can't be too sure it's not the dreaded slippery meat build.

    @Veen said:

A thread complaining about slippery meat, god I can't wait for that deja vu thread.

its not one luck offering, it’s stacked versions of the good ones.

If you can’t see how stacking all of that Luck makes Slippery meat, DS, unbreakable a pretty strong build I can’t help you

  • Also, I guess my OP didn’t clarify I only had as camping the first stage as a guard against the self unhook once they reach struggle I can leave.

  • @Customapple0 said:

Not saying you should respect the 4%, but it’s a dick move camping someone because of stacked luck offerings.

For once you probably found a game where survivors aren’t using meta perks, yet you just gave them a reason to go back to using meta perks again.

    @FFabeq said:

The only time when swf's don't bring 4 second chance perks, and try other swf build's, you camp and tunnel them off the hook. Lol and then complain that survivors run only meta perks

Right, they only ran 3 meta perks not 4... although stacking luck offerings basically turns Slippery meat into Deliverance with slight chance of not working but no unhook requirement.

  • 3-4 of the exact same survivor skin with “team names,” you know what I’m talking about... Aye, Bee, See, and Dee hmmm I wonder if this is gonna be a sweaty toxic SWF

  • @alaenyia said:

Ummm, I guess don't slug for the 4k, it is a lazy, cheap play anyway. Can't be pissed at people for leaving at that.

How is slugging lazy and cheap, it prevents hatch which is the cheapest thing in the game... it’s the participation trophy of DBD

It certainly would, but then you also have the issue of the devs wanting her power identity to be in that Reverse Bear Trap.

SAW lore and gameplay support the idea of ambush applying status, it goes against Ambush being a secondary power and people would just call her a GF/Wraith hybrid if the dash got more focus, but I believe her power(s) should be at a 50/50 split.

I mean she’s already a weaker version, in my opinion, of the other stealth killers. Honestly maybe her rework should remove that facet of her altogether and just buff the traps more?

Im a Saw fan that’s the only reason I even play her at all, if I ever think I’d like to actually play a stealth game I’m picking up GF, wraith or even Myers before piggy

  • @RakimSockem said:

It is considered anti-tunnel regardless of what people want to call it *shrug*

If you got unhooked and ran right to do a gen in my face that isn’t me tunneling you. If I caught the person who I hooked you, hooked then, and still got you within a minute that isn’t tunneling.

  • I think they should rework multiple killer addons WITHOUT touching anyone’s base kit that should fit the time frame right?

Hunteess for the number of addons and to remove Iri hatchet.

Legion, Pig, Demo to make their useless addons (about half) somewhat viable... doesn’t even have to be good or great just useable. Some of their addons run counter to their actual powers.

  • @PigMainClaudette said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1525287#Comment_1525287

An idea that I've had before is to make it so that the effects apply on a successful Ambush attack, but they'd need to change the names to various toxins or paralysing agents.

That would be interesting. It would also fit the movie where the pig appears and objects someone to make them pass out.

  • It began as anti tunnel, as seen in the above quote even Not queen said that. Then when people pointed out all the ways it could be abused and suggested changes to make it actually anti tunnel again the story changed... at that point @Peanits claimed it was anti momentum and it had NEVER been intended as an anti tunnel perk... again despite @not_Queen saying it was.

The examples of Devs or mods saying one thing and changing the story later is laughable at this point. Then they claim something was never said even though the internet keeps things forever, it’s almost like 1984

  • @Blueberry said:

    Demo and Pig

I think Demo May need a sound rework honestly. His undetected addon, especially the one that makes it 10 seconds would be really fun and decently powerful if he didn’t walk like a Mack truck.

  • @coppersly said:

That would be a good guess. It explains why she gets so few bug fixes and why they take literal years to get fixed.

I think i they regret her, I mean she was a cool idea but so hard to integrate and the fact that she ignores the basic mechanics... I think Spirit was their attempt at a weaker nurse and they got that hit still too strong by a lot of people’s opinions

  • @PigMainClaudette said:

Simple. Pig needs them more than any other killer, as a good portion of hers actually HARM her by using them.

More skill checks? Faster removal of the RBT.

Status effects on RBT's? You shouldn't be targeting those players anyway, and if you want to pop heads, the Gears and extra box add-ons are better for that, but they also rely on survivors doing generators. The exact opposite thing you want.

No auras of RBT's until activation? Better do a generator!

12m Wall hacks? Hand over the RBT's! Oh, and your buddy Wraith gets a purple with no downsides, and yours is a pink.

Yeah I don’t understand the exhaustion trap, the WORST thing to do is tunnel someone wearing a trap...

As for the skill checks, a neat series would be based on actually making the box skill checks worse. Like one to make the skill check Overcharge sized, one to make it appear all over the screen like doctor (think being lightheaded from blood loss,) things like that.

I was thinking a cool ultra rare would require TWO people to do the box together because in some movies you required help... but obviously if you’re the last survivor you’re screwed. Or solo and your teammates don’t help.

  • @coppersly said:

They showed they were capable of changing things with negative feedback on Billy. I think it's time they relook at Nurse.

Here’s my honest guess/assumption about Nurse. She is wayyy to hard for them to work around when it comes to new maps, almost every time a place pops up she can’t blink to. Even older maps somehow develop these places after patches.

I think they would prefer as few people as possible play nurse so they’re trying to keep it as annoying, buggy and hard as possible.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1524594#Comment_1524594

Huntress is in a similar vein to Leatherface, Plague, and Billy; their primary means of attacking survivors are actually through their special weapons and they usually only use basic attacks when their stronger power-based-attacks are not available or not feasible (like trying to chainsaw near a window).

Because all of these killers prefer to injure/down survivors through their powers, StBfL isn't really an important or popular choice on them. Though I do find it to be pretty entertaining to use on any of them when I'm screwing around and just playing weird builds for fun.

    @Samwise444 said:

I have seen this a bit and was wondering if people could respond to using it on huntress. In my opinion, I find that she mostly uses hatchets to down people and wouldn't have the best use for it. Likewise, Huntress needs perks for detection in her loadout to find people. It seems that this perk wouldn't help her weaknesses and could limit her strengths. Was wondering if people could share what they found useful when using it on her.

great explanation of why it’s bad for huntress, but I also agree it’s FUN to use for shock value lol

Highly likely that huntress gets a rework. Her addons aren't standardized at all and I am 95% sure they will change her iri head along with it. Also they can't help but touch their base kit for some reason.

Tall order when latency and BASKETBALL HITBOXES are added to the equation.

Iri head needs a rework. All she needs.

But knowing the devs they'll reduce her base hatchets to 2 and make them all insta down. They love unneccesary changes.

Almost everyone agrees all she needs is a quick addon pass, like getting rid of Iri heads and adding a second pink addon.

Knowing the devs they’ll give her a fatigue bar which fills up the farther she throws hatchets, once it’s full she can’t throw farther than 5 meters until you rest and eat a snack.

  • @WeenieDog said:

    Pig.

A majority of her addons revolve around her RBT and whether or not they have an real value in game depends on luck. Trap status effects don't do anything if they get off immediately.

And Rule set 2 is trash tier.

I was gonna say pig too, please!

The one Iri that lets you see auras while crouched is memey but since it’s like mirror Myers it’s fun to just screw with.

The ones that affect crouching or dash attacks are at least playable, as is the extra trap one.

And finally the extra boxes or timer affecting ones at least do something to hinder the survivor so they’re decent.

The ones that give status effects when wearing a helmet are dumb, as are the ones that affect skill checks since they’re so easy it hurts.

So it’s been rumoured for a while now that Candyman would be coming to the game and with the new movie out in October I won’t be shocked if we see him added sooner than later. This has got me wondering how he would work as a killer.

My guess / concept would be that he’s similar to Freddy in the sense he has two abilities. One would be his ability to teleport to various mirrors that spawn around the map at random locations, similar to jigsaw boxes.

His second ability would involve his bees. Instead of them actually doing damage, maybe they can swarm a survivor or possibly multiple survivors which causes them to move slower and be unable to vault until the bees have left.

Anybody else have any other ideas on how he could work if he does come to the game?

I always wonder that too, not just candy man but anyone want added... you have to think of what his power would be and how it would work.

  • we asked, basically they’re looking into it but don’t know what’s wrong and decided apparently that not answering anything or even address publicly they know is a bad idea... for some reason

  • @Pryzm said:

I prestiged my Trapper, Pig and Feng years ago. I then realized what a phenomenal waste of time it all was. I get zero benefit from it and the "rare node" increase in the blood web is not noticeable at all. My Doc gets just as many rare items as Trapper. Kate gets the same rare item choices as Feng and I never prestiged either of them.

So, I don't run bloody because I consider it sign of foolishness. "Look, I wasted lots of BP for absolutely no freaking reason! Yay me!" lol That, and I found when you run a bloody survivor, you get tunneled more. Nah, I'll skip. I avoid running Claudette and bloody Feng because too many simple-minded killers get triggered at the site. Just like running a map or key. I made the mistake of running a map last night in one of my three survivor matches. I was tunneled the entire time. Eventually died in end game while the others got out. Killer ranted and raved about killing the azzhole with the map. Yep...I just wanted the extra BP for finding crap. So I had a green map with zero addons. Wow........

Did he have NOED, wonder if he just didn't want you breaking them all? Or a Trapper but I guess that is understandable it is such a hard counter it is kind of worth tunneling.

In regards to Prestige, I agree with you the only killer or survivor I have prestige at all is PH and that's because A. I think the bloody outfit looks absolutely sick, and B. I had a million saved, all the rift saved, dailies saved, and shrines to buy so I got him to P3 in like a couple days with no real harm to my other progress.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/180738/what-survivor-perks-are-crutches

Borrowed Time is frequently used offensively. Making it base kit would lead to serious abuse.

    @slunder said:

I noticed quite a lot of complaints about survivor perks in dbd, so I will give my opinion on them. The perks that are hated are, for the most part, exhaustion perks in general, adrenaline, decisive strike and borrowed time.

Exhaustion perks: yes, they are broken. They basically give you a free get out of trouble card when you should have been downed. They basically gain free distance that require 0 skill to use and can change the outcome of a game without any risk. Dead hard, for example, can be used for distance, and before you say "it is rare that it is used for distance and it does not give much", I get to use it that way every 2-3 games (assuming I have it on, which is rare due to me not wanting to use crutch perks).

Adrenaline: Well, the fact is: this perk is not a crutch. First of all, it requires to be alive when it activates, then you have to need it when it activates (because you might not be in a chase, in which case it is not game breaking) and finally, the killer often runs NOED.

Decisive strike: this perk is half good, half bad. Tunnelers deserve to get hit by it, but survivors often use it to be aggressive, which is just a free get out of jail card. Rework it so that the timer stops when the survivor is in a chase or in the dying state, so that the killer cannot tunnel and then slug, but get the timer to be only 15 seconds long, no time to be aggressive.

Borrowed time: well no, this perk is not dumb, if the survivor hooks rush you get into a chase immediately instead of needing to find another one, so the perk making survivors rush each other is fine. Most of the time, it is not used to rush, but to fight tunnelers, which is a good thing. I even think this perk should be base kit.

    What are your thoughts?

Even as someone who plays killer 75% and survivor about 25% I don't think any perk is ALWAYS a crutch. Sometimes DS is needed to prevent tunneling, but the people who work gens in your face or hop in lockers are abusing it.

BT can be needed against facecampers, but like someone said above some people use it offensively to unhook a rotation right in front of your face... often paired with the above DS so yes in that case they are using it as a crutch or just abusing it.

  • @Gerneral_Buckness said:

I love the aesthetic of my prestige 3 characters, all bloody and bad ass.

But I was wondering, do people choose not to use the P3 skins to trick the killer into thinking they're not as experienced?

I actual kind of do the reverse, I don't have prestige but I sometimes experiment by wearing super bright/neon cosmetics and bringing a flashlight. A lot of killers will see that and leave you alone if they see someone else too, or even if they only see you but you seem to be at a good loop they may overestimate your skills.

Flipside is they may give you chase and you get lots of practice.

  • @Moundshroud said:

I look forward to watching it, but I do hope that future installments will be longer. :) The pilot came off more as a trailer. And if people sitting watching the "Starting Soon" longer than the film itself, they tend to get salty. I am giving them a break, because I enjoyed what little I saw. I just think they need to learn from this and the minimum feature needs to be 15 minutes.

Yeah, I'm really glad I didn't catch it live I would have been annoyed. As it was I was already bummed that I saw the video was 42 minutes then only 12 ended up being the actual episode.

  • @Dehitay said:

I don't know how y'all can recognize it so easily unless they're showing a misunderstanding of basic mechanics. Even prior to the mmr system, red ranks were full of survivors that were a deal less skilled than me as well as survivors that stomped me. It takes quite a while to realize that the survivors are significantly less skilled than what I should be up against. Not to mention, it doesn't actually happen as often as people like to claim.

Noone is “claiming,” anything... people are literally seeing it after hours and hours. Yes, people are popping in with screenshots of “good matchmaking,” but that could be from literally anytime. I’m watching streams from Puppers, Otz, and Tofu who have played lots and lots of games since this started and they are still getting babies.

As far as noticing it, as survivor I can tell in the first chase of a killer is really really new. They refuse to break infinite pallet loops, don’t know basic lathing, etc.

Survivor is tougher as a lot of red rank survivors got there just by a bad emblem system but if they run and never look back, drop pallets when you’re literally 20 meters away, etc you can assume they’re new

  • @Reaver_Raziel said:

Yeah mixed bag here, if I get like 3 downs and 0 gens have been done, I start giving out a lot of second chances and basically "following the survivors rulebook". Just to get them to save or to let them do gens a bit. Not a lot but enough to let them get a few bloodpoints. Unfortunately if there is one survivor in the mix that happens to be experienced and also a stereotypical "toxic survivors". Clicky clicky, tbagging and what not. I stop giving chances.

But honestly the devs should at minimum explain some of the things that determine mmr. Like if I give hatch to someone how much does that impact theirs and my mmr. If it gives them a lot of positive mmr I'll stop doing it because they should "be with their own" (to lend a racists phrase :P) instead of getting demolished by red rankers.

So I have a mixed opinion on whether to crush newbies or to give them a few good moments.

At this point I’m starting to think maybe MMR isn’t getting better for some of us because we went too easy on people. So I’m going to be relentless for about a week and see what happens, I think survuvors are thinking this way too becauce the couple people I’ve denied hatch at the end weren’t even salty

  • @DetailedDetriment said:

Maybe so you din't hit several gens in quick succession with killers like Bubba or Oni.

If I down someone with Bubba, move far enough to have more gens in range and then down someone else I deserve regression on all those gens. It’s not like downing 2 people at once would regress everything by 16% since after the first they wouldn’t be affected

I can get how it's refreshing to not get sweat on sometimes, but man, I'm getting tired of actually having to handicap myself to pip/gain a decent amount of BP, actually got happy on nurse to verse a crazy good steve that was hell to catch yesterday, can't imagine people tryharding against new players for that long and still get a kick out of it.

I do enjoy the break from absolutely sweat fests!!! But maybe somewhere in the middle would be nice? You’re right I have to actively let survivors regroup and reset almost every game to get a decent amount of BPs.

Im wondering if going easy on them is preventing me from gaining MMR, even though I 4k maybe it’s not a good 4k? Maybe 12 hooking is no longer our goal?

  • @Dehitay said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1521018#Comment_1521018

Doing this would be far often to the killer's detriment than favor. You have to sacrifice hooking survivors in order to be able to do this. Also, this doesn't prevent gen progression on generators that are actually being worked on so this is far from permanently preventing gen progression. Not to mention you could only prevent gen regression for 48 seconds at most with a single survivor before they're hopping off without a hook. Doing this also waste a significant amount of the killer's time since they have to repeatedly go through both the pick up and drop animations in addition to all the hooks they're abandoning.

The only thing I could see this being useful for is some kind of slug only strategy. But even then, it would be really easy to counter for any survivors that are smart enough to adapt to different situations. Picking up a slug is easier than unhooking a hooked survivor. They can move to convenient locations after healing.

I guess it COULD set up a situation where if you down someone who is AFK and then reputedly pick them up and drop them gens would be permanently blocked... I mean that’s super narrow for them to add a cooldown to Tremors but it at least provides a reason.

Even if that’s the thinking though cooldown could be lower and still not allow that infinite looping

  • @Rivyn said:

Devs have some weird fetish for adding a drawback to weak perks.

I feel like every new chapter I’m reading a perk thinking, “man this wouldn’t replace one of the top 6 meta perks but I could really use this,” and then BHVR adds two extra sentences that completely neuter the perk for some reason.

Now, imagine that player X is also the kind who does want GG ez games.

I guess you already figured out where I'm going with this.

Yep, another thing I said before. The only people happy with this MMR are those who enjoy bullying baby killers or 4k agsinst survivors playing their first game. They’re probably recording those games now or showing off to their friends how good they are.

Same type of people who play Video games in easy mode and are proud they beat it in a day.

I know it’s been said before, literally by the devs of the game, but ranks don’t matter. Looking at the scores the game was a total rout, almost as if they’re low low MMR despite being red ranks.

And this isn’t a rare occurrence either, watch Tofu’s last youtube huntress video and he literally though the Ace was playing his first DBD game he was so bad... the he ended up being red rank.

Surge has 4 conditions for activating:

    1. Must down a survivor with a Basic Attack.
    2. Must down a survivor within 32 meters of a generator.
    3. Must not be on cooldown.
    4. Affected generator(s) cannot be currently regressing or blocked.

For a perk that does very little damage to gens at only 8%, which can be repaired in about 5 seconds if a survivor was on said gen when it got hit with Surge, 4 conditions for its activation feels like a bit much honestly. If they just took out the basic attack requirement, or the cooldown, the perk would be much more useful overall.

With the Basic attack requirement gone, Killers with damaging powers like Huntress, The chainsaw boys, Oni, and Demogorgon (of whom the perk was coincidentally introduced with) would have much more utility with the perk, opening up its usefulness to a larger roster of killers and making it more universal. I've said this before: The "Down with basic attack" requirement didn't work for Infectious Fright, and it sure as hell isn't working for Surge.

Alternatively, removing the cooldown makes the perk activate more often on gens that aren't currently regressing, which in turn applies better pressure on larger maps, and delays survivors 5 seconds to repair the damage, buying more time for the killer to hook a survivor, and encouraging chased survivors to lead you away from the generators their allies are working on.

Surge's Primary strengths are that it saves the killer time on kicking gens, delays repair time by 5 seconds, and can affect multiple generators. In a 3 gen situation, this would be a major problem for the survivors if it weren't for the small amount of damage it does. I believe 3 gen situations and small maps are to blame for why the devs went overboard on creating the situational conditions for its activation; fearing that if they didn't, killers would be able to completely control the gens while hunting survivors, but in practice, surge rarely goes off on more than 1 gen at a time, and even if it does, its not like it applies enough damage to be regarded by survivors as anything more than a minor annoyance.

Overall Surge would still be an under powered perk if either of these 2 conditions were removed, but with just one of these QoL changes, Surge would be more appealing, useful, and far better compared to how it is right now. Personally, I would be fine with Surge's cooldown if the basic attack requirement was removed, because I feel that Basic attack requirement is the one that limits its usefulness too much, and makes it a garbage tier perk that's currently only useful on a small amount of killers instead of being universal to all of them.

Seriously, they arguably could change it to any attack AND remove the cool down and it still wouldn’t be broken... but I can see no reason they don’t change at least one of them. Making it activate on any down would be the best

Well, basketball is competetive, this isnt.

But to answer, it would make me want to play again, because losing hard is a good teacher. I see what they did right, what I did wrong, where to improve, etc. ESPECIALLY against people who have obvious advantages and experience. Because I can see what THEY do and use to their advantage after gaining the experience. I know what to practice.

People act like an unbalanced or tough game is a waste of time. Stop letting your bruised ego stand in the way of actual improvement. Learn from your struggles, dont give in to them.

So I’m not having struggles, that’s the point I’m having cake walk games... I’m legitimately worried that new players won’t stick it out like you or I would.

MMR isn’t always as bad as people are making it out to be though.

But the fact that it is as bad as it is as often as it is is still an issue, a serious issue for new players.

So to throw a completely invalid, hypothetical situation your way, lets say you just started a new job. On your first day, you don't know how to do the work and the person trying to train you has to fix almost everything you touch. Do you quit?

My guess is you feel frustrated you aren't picking up on it as fast as your expectations about yourself make you think you should, but you stick it out and learn and gain experience to where you perform at a satisfactory level of your employers expectations. I'm also sure this took more than a week.

I mean, if you quit every job you've had on the first day, how can you afford to buy DBD dlcs?

Fair argument, although I would say at the job someone would be next to you telling you what you did wrong. If survivors lose a game in 3 minutes they don’t know what they did wrong, if a killer gets caught in a 5 gen chase against a super good looper no one is there to tell him he should have dropped chase and found the weak link.

Lol, Scott Jund did a fully Billy game of just walking backwards when chasing survivors and didn't even come close to losing. Why do you have to sweat against new players though? It will drive them away from the game, are you going to bring an ebony mori next?

The only thing is if we go too easy on them then they may actually move up, and save sweatier killers.... of course that’s if MMR ever works right.

Whay I’ve been doing is ending chases as quickly as I can but then I hook and wander away without even looking. So if someone follows for an instant save I let them and don’t come back to them anytime soon. If it was a “sweaty game,” I would go back and slug one and hook one.

I’m just trying to make sure everyone gets enough time in the game and enjoys themselves.

Oh I don't tunnel them off the hook or anything. It's just nice not to have to worry about 8 million things at once like when you're playing full meta sweat squads

It is a nice break from the normal, one mistake and you lose, killer games you get sometimes.

I did have some newbies running DS and they must watch streamers too because one got unhooked and jump right into a locker even though I wasn’t chasing him lol... broke chase to yank him out and let him feel good about his trick working.
