Yeah, I don't think mine are right. I was a pig main, but it only says I played 4 hours of her.
It's true that I took a long break after sadako and would pop in every now and then, but some of these numbers feel too low.

No, missing a skillcheck replaces it with Great one so you don't miss but hit it instead.
I guess we'll have to see but I'm assuming it would be like skill check > fail (hyperfocus reset)> corrective action (!)
So does corrective action set hyper focus to 1? Or is it like if another person entirely were to score a great and all you get is +1%.?

I want to say you'd have more of chance against the xenomorph because it doesn't have any paranormal abilities. It's just a very very strong animal.
I think the queens are supposed to have a higher intelligence then the drones, but the latter aren't exactly dumb either.
And that depends on what lore you're going to follow. Xenomorph were supposed to be these perfect predators and then in later media entries just blew them up left and right like basic fodder baddies.
-
As is it, I just don't see it being viable long term.
For killer its interesting and fun with another , but for survivor, it's the same gig except you don't pick your perks.
They need to find some way of spicing it up for survivors or I just think it'll die. It's something else that reminds me of Deathgarden's hunt with friends, you had to force people into the match by merging the queue together and people just jumped off the map.
-
I mean, 2 v 8 was probably always going to end up a balancing clownfest. And if it were the other way, it would end up like deathgarden's hunt with friends. Just as much of a joke, but massively in the hunter's favor.
-
I feel like the bulk of ds complaints was that it was just too good. It was 60 seconds of invulnerability to do what ever you wanted. A lose-lose for the killer.
>Chase them - eat ds.
>They're doing gens in your face - eat ds.
>You down and hook another survivor but find them again - eat ds
It absolutely needed a nerf, but all of those at once pretty much killed it. Hell, I remember people suggesting that you should be able to use it multiple times per match because it was that bad.
Though, the wild disparity between killers doesn't help. Against Nurse and Blight, it's an empty perk slot. This up coming version has a meaningful stun, but with multiple conditions that stop it from being oppressive.
-
Here's to hoping they'll pull a Friday the 13th and let you kill the killer after some 'throwing level' ritual. Like 400 seconds or something.
-
Not anymore. It used to be a staple on my legion back when their power could apply the effect. Absolutely evil against solo queue, but I do miss it sometimes.
-
I don't know what they were thinking with ultimate weapon.
As a hardcore whispers addict, someone that runs whispers on every single killer no matter what, UW is only tracking perk that has ever changed that. Because it is so free. It's an on demand doctor bomb.
I don't how anyone can complain about made for this being too much for too little and look at this and say it's fine.
-
I feel like he's A LOT more addon dependent. I swear momento knives + lucky blade/watch is a must pick. It doesn't help the fast decay rate, but man it feels way better imo than all his other options.
-
Because the meta never really changes. It's always just shifting to the other slowdown or the other exhaustion or what ever is next in the same category.
-
I like the idea, but the terror radius thing holds it back.
-
My biggest question is:
Why did they give trickster a yellow and green add on that buff the combo counter? All combo does is give more points. I get every killer gets that 1 meme add on for bp but why 2, and why uncommon and rare?
-
I guess they can look at it when that 3 gen plan comes by
-
I don't know how I feel about just yet, but ehhh.. some parts feel a bit better others feel worse. But some parts make me question if they understand what makes him frustrating to play and go against.
Though, I'm kind of set with, as much as I loved him when he premiered in no-kill, he's flawed at his core.
-
Those changes are pretty wild if they give him all of that and not just like 2.
trickster's biggest problem was map design and mft put him in a coffin, but that's getting nerfed.
-
I guess that just comes with playing a live service game. Things just come and go. I'm sure there are some survivors out there that miss the old hook tech, where you could dodge hits by vacuuming to actions like breaking hooks.
-
Probably because of the self unhook mechanic. They could just remove it entirely, but as it is, there isn't a way to separate people killing themselves on purpose vs people who think they are the entity's chosen (but aren't actually).
-
I'm not entirely sure about sm rework. I do like that they buffed the stealth aspect and with 8 seconds of undetectable after drone deploy, you could just throw on whispers and play her like pig where you activate it as soon as you get a ping.
The 2 scouting modes feel pointless. My question is why would you use scouting mode over stealth mode? I get the lasers move faster but all they have to do is stand still to avoid it. Why not just use stealth and make them invisible so they can't anticipate it?
-
You could lower your display resolution. I used to do that when I played on a weaker laptop.... heck, even after I got a more powerful desktop I still lowered it because I found all the new details distracting.

I say no because it's not been a non-issue for me on killer. If they do ever bump the numbers (which will probably happen eventually) then for a nerf, i'd throw out shorten haste effect to a flat 2% and reduce the endurance effect to cap at 5-6s instead of 10s
Is the use of double negatives on purpose or just a little typo?
-
I'm assuming it was a bug considering you have to be stunned to gain hubris. Though it does bring up memories of when you could be stunned by your own dream pallets.
-
Whispers. Even though I can't say it gets great value every match, just knowing where they aren't feels so invaluable in the early game.
-
Trickster has knifes that look similar, but um... he's not exactly consistent.

I am very well aware of this.
Which is what makes me made cause my MMR is then not natural. If the wins are too easy, then I get matched against people who aren't at my actual level and I get stomped
Unfortunately, mmr is pointless when people can just lobby shop.
-
Honestly, I get more frustrated playing solo queue than I ever have playing killer.
-
Probabaly won't really help anything. I rarely see people dc anyway and instead, they kill themselves on hook.
And if I am going to be real, I'm still going to get up, go afk and make a cup of tea after my second skull merchant game.
-
At this point, they could revert the 'conspicuous action' condition and it would still be bad. They could always just make it activate after every unhook (minus the end game unhooks).
-
I mean, you could just take a break and play killer. Your mile my vary depending on what perks you have, but it's a nice vacation if you're broken by a loss streak.
-
You'll get used to it. But look on the bright side, the event powers are gone.
-
Value feels iffy. Very good against 110%, but reminds me of dead hard for distance in that it's bustedness depends on the map and how stupid it is by itself.
-
I find him obnoxious but not overpowered or anything.
-
Bloodlust was made as a bandaid for bad map design and that is going to be hard to fix unless we a community accept hand crafted maps (and that would have problems of its own).
-
I'm not even sure if it a balance problem and instead just the sheer number of killer we have.
As a newish player (or super casual) are you really going to instantly buy the new killer? How many people actually buy every chapter/paragraph on release vs a sale?
-
Probabaly because they are fine statistically (regardless of if they actually are or not).
-
I wish they gave you a bond effect while in use and add ons would be able to extend the range and duration.
-
I've been enjoying survivor (hyperfocus kind of makes gens fun), but tbf, I more of a killer main so don't get the worst of it back to back to back. Today, out of a 4 hour session, I can only cite 1 game that made just want to dc and it was a knight that was hard camping and using the summons to kick gens. The rest was more of my teammates just throwing for rift challenges and though it does suck, it doesn't bother me too much.
-
They kind of play odd sometimes. And Really safe around hooks it seems. Like they try to save but don't want to been on your terror radius, so sometimes they don't do anything. But I suppose in the realm of solo queue, that's pretty accurate.
-
as an endgame option where all the gens are done, sure. Mid match, not so much.
-
knight and skull merchant withering away in the background unnoticed
-
As much as I love trickster, this man has one of the fastest healthy to dying state take down times. They are not going to buff him without some serious changes.
-
On the contrary, I recently stopped playing overwatch and came back after a year long break

Im pretty sure that feature isnt acaullty in game, its a deactive feature.
It doesn't. They remain off until their respective cooldown resets. Unless you have an add on.

so you cant get 6 condemn stacks instantly at the start of a map.
just tp tp tp tp tp tp tp tp tp and boom instamori soon enough
You wouldn't be able to anyway as theres 7 tvs and you'd need 10 tps.
105 seconds for 7 tps, then 70 for a reset, then 1 more 15 tp cd for 190 seconds. Survivors would have to do nothing for 3 minutes and 10 seconds before they'd get condemned.
Condemned is really hard to balance, and I personally feel like it will always weight killers' power budget down.

How many TV in totals in a match?
I've never stopped to count , but do know that there's always 1 close to a gen, so 7 at least.
-
Hmm, I kind of don't like the cd on projection though it is necessary with these changes.
Idk, I kind of like sadako as she is now (besides her nemesis lvl add ons) and people not caring about tvs had a upside to them. Not only for movement but also a bit of detection as anyone within 16m of a TV would have their ring hud element light up briefly. This also doesn't change that survivors can do tapes in your face.
Personally, 1 thing I would love is make newspaper the default duration blink. A more major thing I wanted was to throw out the whole mori part and have status effects base on the stacks.
However, killers that require a team based effort tend to do really well... because solo queue, so maybe better for her in the long run.
-
It's weird at a glance to gauge how meaningful 3% is. As a survivor, most of the time I can't even tell, and killers just ditched me most games and downed my teammates instead. As killer though, it really brings up the "is this person cheating?" vibes.
Especially against 110% killers. Small rock loops really felt like an infinite with the whole 3%, killers having a bigger collision box and can't follow as tight. I have never felt so bad for a trickster. I let the man kill me in the end to not waste the 5 cakes.
But to me, I wonder: if maps were better balanced, would the community be torn about it being op? Or would it be like hyperfocus, op on paper but not really in practice.
