Personally I do not like shelter than much. I find those stumps(not actual trees the weird stumps) have very iffy collosion. I also dont think groaning is S considering its main building but at least blight can play around that mess somehow
Shelter Woods is IMO the best map for Blight because there are so many trees to bump on and a large, open area to easily down survivors.

From my experience, Ormond is probably D tier because of the various bugged structures that you can slide off in the same vein as the swamp maps
It's not all awful though
Coal Tower should also probably be in S tier due to it being the smallest map in the game and being relatively open
Now that I think of it, Coal Tower should be higher.

I'd personally put both The Game, Ormond, and Grim Pantry much lower, as well as put Wreckers Yard a bit higher.
Yeah, I don't think I gave Wreckers Yard enough credit.

Now that I think of it, it'd actually be pretty cool if it blocked the hatch as well. Good thinking Tony!

Phineas & Ferb, Regular Show, and The Amazing World of Gumball are all very near and dear to my heart.

If they do, I would be pretty upset, GFace is one of my top three mains, the others being oni and phead
I can't wait for them to give GF the overheat mechanic.
"We will be updating the Ghost Face so that he starts sweating vigorously in fear someone will reveal him while holding down the stalk button, taking him out of stealth mode after holding it down for 3 seconds."
-
I agree, Ghostface needs a few adjustments.
I mean, if the next mid-chapter ends up being the Myers update, then who knows, we might get buffs for GF too. After all, the Bubba update updated Billy to keep the theme of chainsaws. They better not hammer GF though.
-
Otzdarva is a Trapper main, he's really good at him. You can watch his content for an idea on how to play him.
-
I want more Blight cosmetics. Also Yui needs more cosmetics, the rift one wasn't that good IMO (no offense to its designers).

We need Freddy with sunglasses in DBD.

So am I lol. If they're trying to body block with BT. They're getting tunneled and going right back on the hook.
It's up to you man, you do you :P

That doesn't need done. Body blocking is just part of the game and if they find themselves in a situation to use it and benefit. GGWP to them. And if it's not something like end game. They're getting the timer waited out and tunneled
I'm fine with bodyblocking, I'm talking about BT bodyblocking after getting unhooked.

So are we going to prevent an invisible wraith from bodyblocking a window? or a survivor bodyblocking a hook when a killer tries to put them on it? When you open that door, where does it end?
It's a strategic play, with a risk to the person who's using BT of going back down and on a hook again.
Using BT for bodyblocking is pretty much abusing the perk, it's supposed to discourage tunneling which is why most killers go for the unhooker after someone uses BT in front of them.
It's a strategy that I'm fine with but it's honestly annoying to go against.
-
Oni's lore is badass. The rift carried David's lore, making it one of my favorites.
I also like Trickster's, it's pretty terrifying. Yun-Jin's also pretty good, a survivor that's genuinely selfish. Plus I like the connection to her killer counterpart.
-
All that needs to be done is making it so unhooked survivors affected by BT have no collision for the duration to discourage BT bodyblocking.
-
Poor Bubba doesn't even know where he is, he's probably so confused in the realm. I'd easily free him, the Entity manipulated him pretty easily since he has the mind of a child. Compared to others, it had to crush their minds.
Blight tried to save the victims of the Entity but failed in the end, and the Entity was able to turn him into part of itself, even had to accept his fate.
For survivor, I'd definitely save Claudette. A sweetie like her doesn't deserve to be stuck in such a cruel world.
-
Oh my lawd I love it!
-
I don't think that'd be a good idea. Some people enjoy playing DBD with each other and some killers will likely dodge lobbies that read SWF on them, making it difficult for them to enjoy the game.
-
Yoooo my man's got the resolution that "just looks better."
-
-
Yep. I'm excited for it because I want to get my PC progress on my Switch so I can play DBD on the go without having Knock Out, Franklin's Demise, and BBQ & Chili as my only teachables.

Please forgive my lack of understanding but what's the creative way of making polls. Also I agree with Samara working.
I like the colored squares you added in the answers to the poll.
-
Okay that's a pretty creative way of making polls.
But yeah I think Samara would fit in the game.
-
Shred
- Faking your shreds allows you to zone survivors.
- You can shred in jungle gyms and plenty of loops.
- Try not to commit to shreds quickly, as survivors can predict your movements and easily dodge it.
Portals
- You can place these in hidden areas so survivors don't see you OR they don't see the portal.
- Portals activate when you enter or exit from them.
- Activated portals show the killer instinct of the survivor on top of these portals. You can use this to your advantage by placing portals below generators, totems, etc.
Perks
My personal build on Demo is BBQ for info and bloodpoints, Pop Goes the Weasel for insta regression, Save the Best for Last (a must for Demo as it can hit the obsession without losing stacks by shredding them), and Corrupt Intervention for setting up portals.
Its best easy-to-find add-ons are Black Heart and Barb's Glasses, though Lifeguard Whistle, Rat Liver, Eleven's Soda, and even Rotten Pumpkin are pretty good.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/250269/why-do-people-call-doctor-op
First, Nobody has ever said Doctor was OP. Second, he needs to be changed because of his ability. 99.999% of doctors run Ruin/ Undying and want to slow the game down as much as possible. there are add-ons and perks that make his terror radius literally 72 meters. If he has Clorophobia + Sloppy that can be a nightmare. He just spams his ability and it's annoying because you can't do anything and he gets a free hit every time if he uses it correctly
I see lots of people call Doc OP and it's pretty hilarious.
-
Yamaoka and Midwich aren't bad maps for him. Swamp and Ormond would definitely be way better if his collision weren't miserable on those maps.

I think Feng would be another one to the list of not-wants. Isn't she all about isolation and doing things herself regardless of the team?
Yeah I agree, I was thinking about her tbh.
-
If we're talking pre-nerf Freddy, then yeah that'd be cool. But this is post-nerf Freddy, and as much as I love running his Dream Pallets others would find him miserable to play as, having to run an add-on just to run his snares again.

I'd say Billy is a healthy mix of those killers. Or those killers took a slice from billy's pie.
Billy always has his power, mobility and instadown, while others only excel at one aspect but better. Which is fair, i think billy is still toptier. And as much as i hated the billy rework at ptb, it has absolutely zero impact right now vs before. Base kit is literally the same and his addons got changed. Dont know why overheat exist, but since it doesnt do anything, it was just a waste of ressources and an addon pass.
I mean, every old Billy main can agree that the nerf was unnecessary and actually has a heavy impact on him. Overheat made Billy just terrible. If you think Billy is the same, I'd love to see you play him.
-
I guess it could give the Incapacitated status effect temporarily whenever someone uses Dead Hard.
-
I love how Cursed Legacy has Yui's lore slapped onto it and the Oni coming out of nowhere in front of her, overall it's my favorite. Ghostface's trailer gets my respect tho
Not sure about the spotlights, never really watched them.
-
I... wut.
-
Not good, not bad, just okay. He can shut down low-wall loops pretty damn well, and can somewhat counter W meta.
-
I bought the physical copy of DBD for the Switch and it came with the DLC cosmetics (excluding Charity Case). Not sure if that's the same for PS4.
-
Oni without Topknot, Blight, Bubba, and Old Billy without instasaw add-ons.
-
Clearly, he doesn't have a father figure. GG EZ
Btw, how many hours does he have?
-
Aw yeah, I love local 58.
-
I don't think you'll need Iron Will w/ Self-Preservation as IW is cancelled out when Self-Preservation activates. You can probably replace that with Fixated to compliment Sprint Burst.
-
I love Child's Play but it might be difficult for them to execute Chucky in the game, although something similar to the Cages of Atonement might work for him so he won't have to hook survivors himself.
-
Honestly gonna have to say Myers, at least Legion has somewhat of a source for slowdown even if it's a little inconsistent. Myers is just outclassed by GF in almost every way, and honestly I'm giving chances to him being the worst killer in the game.

How about buffing mending so survivors are actually likely to get downed from it
right now it's a joke
Mending isn't meant to down survivors, it's meant to slow the game down a bit as it forces survivors to mend otherwise they get downed.
-
IMO its duration should be buffed a bit.
-
Aw yeah, this is awesome. I want this.

Two words: Gen control.
If you mean her RBTs, then yeah she's pretty decent at slowing down the game. But getting downs? A consistent team will demolish her, she has horrible anti-loop and is easy to run around considering she's a basic M1 killer. Also, her movement speed while crouched is god-awful and she has no source of mobility, making her map control trash.
She's one of the few candidates of worst killer in the game.
-
I run BBQ (bloodpoints and tracking), Corrupt (setup for blood fury), Infectious Fright (a MUST-RUN for Oni), and Shadowborn so I can see better, tho you can replace Shadowborn with whatever I guess, maybe Pop or M&A.
-
Hmm...
I'd want:
- Either Ace or Steve, for the charisma in the Entity's realm, y'know?
- Claudette is one empathetic fella, and seems like a really smart person.
- Cheryl's been through a lot, she'll probably know what to do!
Honorable mentions:
- Adam
- Quentin (as long as he's the one from the movie lol)
- Kate
Now who would I not want...
- Yun-Jin. No question.
- I'm not too sure about Jake, after all he wasn't really a good person, was he?
- Honestly, those two seem like the only folks that don't really seem like good guys, so not sure what to put here.
-
"Just bait it out lol"

I really don't think totem should even have a chance of getting cleanses within the first minute of a game. As you said, there are sometimes games where the survivors never find it. But they are not even remotely balanced with the times that the totem is easily found and removed before the game has a chance to even begin.
Totem spawns definitely need to be looked at.
I agree with this, totem spots are either going to be extremely obvious or stupidly hidden.
