Proud Spirit hater here.
I haven't played her in a while, but I now choose not to use perks on her. If I do want to use perks on her, then I'd probably just use Shadowborn and BBQ. No add-ons as her base-kit is already pretty damn powerful.
-
I love these.
I always thought of something similar to Fingerless Parade Gloves being added to his base-kit, where you charge the bottle throwing up to 3 charges. Each charge would increase the distance of the bottles, and the effects of the slowdown/speed (+1.66% for the effects of the tonics/antidotes).
-
Gen speeds don't need to be fixed, although BNPs do need a nerf, and surv spawns need to be reworked. However, I would like to see an early-game collapse type of thing.
-
Trapper's mask as a Mii outfit would be sweet. I think if DBD gets in Smash we should get it represented as spirits and mii costumes, as cool as a DBD fighter would be, I just can't see it happening. However, DBD is popular in Japan, so who knows?
The fighter would definitely be Trapper or Huntress, they're the most iconic characters in DBD IMO.
-
Blight main, secondary main is Clown.
EDIT: Editing this post because I forgot to explain why I main them.
Blight is super fun to play as, and it seems survivors really like him as well. His power is skill-based and strategy-based.
Clown is IMO the most strategic killer in the game, and with his recent rework he's even more strategic. His antidotes are really damn fun and he can actually counter W meta with them. Really underrated killer!
I love both of them as characters too!
-
Wraith is nowhere near S-tier. He has SO much counterplay, people just don't know how to play against him. I still think he's C-tier, maybe low B-tier if I feel generous. Also, Doc is not A-tier, and Trickster is definitely not better than GF, Clown, and Slinger. Slinger should be B-tier at best.
Nurse is still the best killer in the game IMO.

How about a perk that lets you block off a gen after kicking it. It should have a cooldown timer of 30 sec
I like that idea. Could work as an anti gen-tapping perk.
-
I want a perk that speeds up the generator regression speed (other than Ruin). I thought up of this on the create your own perk thread:
You feel your anger boiling while around others. When chasing a survivor, each survivor that is in your terror radius gives you 1 token, up to a maximum of 3. Each token increases the generator regression speed by 25/50/75%, up to a maximum of 75/150/225%. When a survivor exits your radius, lose a token.
The survivor that you are currently chasing is not counted as a token.
The regression bonus does not stack with other perks.(Not sure about this one.)It would also work amazingly with M&A's terror radius shifting.
-
Funnily enough, the perk you thought up of already exists. Rancor.
-
I love this idea. Better Together is one of my favorite perks in the game to run in solo queue. Trail of Torment also nerfed this perk a bit, which is why I want this buff.
-
Unplayable is a stretch, although I agree Ormond is such a pain in the arse to play as Blight.
-
Nah, teabagging ain't my type. Being a killer main and agreeing that Spirit is braindead is my type.

Pretty sure they made old purple windstorm basekit
Interesting.
Awesome move from BHVR tbh.

That's fine but survivors aren't exactly getting buffs. Also current Wraith is way stronger than most other killers.
Ideally all the killers should be powerful, so they can start buffing survivors too. That's not what happens though.
Wraith is the same as ever, all they did was make a yellow add-on base-kit for him. All they need to change for him is silent bell and All-Seeing.
He's a basic M1 killer with lots of counterplay.

Fellas is Tony actually trolling at this point too?
Talking to Tony is like talking to a brick wall tbh.
Although I agree that Wraith doesn't need nerfs as well.

Spirit is fine. Survivors have some information, not none. Stridor is a perk, counter it with a perk, Iron Will. Spirit is fine.
Stridor literally trumps Iron Will tf
You don't play survivor, do you? And don't give me that "I played 5 games as surv it's easy."

I've seen a lot more hackers months ago, but who knows.

Ok:) so how long does it take to get a hang of him?
A week maybe, if you keep playing as him.
-
Learning him is pretty fun tbh, even if you lose a lot. It's hard to learn and play him, but you'll find it fun.
-
4 days left by the way! I'm excited.

You mean the ptb where everyone thought he was just a worse hillbilly?
Nah, the one where he had two attack cooldowns that took 10 years and the one where he couldn't break pallets with a lethal rush hit.
-
He's really fun and enjoyable to play as and against. If they revert him back to his PTB version I will... probably cry.
-
Ruin is an amazing slowdown perk that is very powerful and is actually somewhat useful tracking-wise. Excels in both early-game and late-game, it's just that good.

A bit off-topic, I just want to leave this and I'll head out:
There was another topic about The Trickster going on at the same time as this one, that topic specifically asking how people felt about having anime characters in the game now that The Trickster is a thing. I think that the topic was deleted because the OP may have been evading a ban, that's the only hint I got before it disappeared.
Anyway while most in the topic agreed that anime and / or other Trickster-style characters were not wanted, there were some who felt otherwise. I was in a lengthy discussion with a couple of them. If you guys see this I just want to say, because I didn't have the chance before, that despite the fact that the conversation could have been seen by some as heated I was actually very much enjoying the discussion and have no hard feelings. We all have our own opinions, I was just very interested in the depth to which we were debating what is and isn't appropriate in this game. I thought that it was a good conversation, so kudos.
That's all.
No worries, you're always subject to your own opinion, even if I disagree with yours.
Hope you're having a good night, or morning, or afternoon, evening, idk. It's dark here.

Bought all of the DLC (excluding a few, as I bought them with auric cells/shards) and I bought 2000 auric cells for 2 different rift passes, and another 1000 auric cell pack for chicken Clown (I'm weird, I love chicken Clown though). I'd estimate about 80 bucks? (Keep in mind that I bought most of the DBD DLC during Steam sales.)
-
Wow, Clown is... underrated. (I miss that guy.)
-
I don't main Bubba but he's got a great kit and I enjoy playing him.
My build on him is Ruin, Undying, Retribution, and Crowd Control. Heavy snowball potential with this build. Crowd Control is amazing on Bubba. Retribution for info, Undying for support and Ruin for slowdown.

@Eninya said:
Small nerf and everybody quits playing him (thank god). Still has all of his strengths that put him over a lot of other killers considered A-tier.
"Small nerf"
Either way he is no longer A-tier in my eyes and for most of us. He's outclassed by Oni, Blight, and even Bubba.
-
Blight's theme is really sad. I love Trickster's tho, stands out so damn well. PH also has a good one, it's awesome. I love how they added the leitmotif from the Silent Hill soundtrack. Makes it sound sad and terrifying at the same time.

Comms for solos is going to be a nightmare. People will now be forced to listen to their teammates trashtalk the entire game. Just creates more toxicity.
@Paina said:

The day they will add comms is the day I will quit tbh. I'm not interested in talking to 12 year olds or getting insulted by teammates. And even if I can mute them, that would nerf me even more as a solo surv., since they would have to buff killer at the same time.
I didn't mean voice comms. The video @Reinami sent above pretty much explains what I mean.

the problem is, is swf really a big deal to most killers? especially since how is the game gonna know if ur using comms, if swf are nerfed then there at a disadvantage just for playing with friends
Not to me, I find some SWFs fun to play against. I don't want SWF nerfed. At all. I'm not down for making the game miserable for those who just want to play with friends.
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/251172/solo-q-is-perfect
buffing solo queue would also buff swf, but then again nerfing swf would probs nerf solo as well, its a hard thing to really balance, because you cant really punish 1/2 players because the others are swf,
The best way to buff solo queue is to add a comms system (but at the same time, buffing killers), that way SWF won't be affected at all because they use comms anyway.
-
Quentin, although I'm glad because I hate seeing that damn gremlin.
For killer, Hillbilly (sadly). I miss the big guy, though.
-
It's a dumb yet fun perk, it's not that good but it's pretty damn well-designed which is why it's my favorite exhaustion perk.
-
SC being meta and old Ruin.
-
Aw yeah, this sounds fun. I love Pokemon. I also love giving them base stats so I'm going to try and give each and (maybe) every one of them their own base stats and abilities! (Capped at 525 for the killers)

It already is a bad perk on everyone except Blight
Ehh, it's pretty damn solid on Bubba and PH. You'll most likely have time to make it to the gen when it's at 70% without high mobility.
-
#JusticeforBilly
...but rework his add-ons.
-
Definitely a mediocre killer compared to others, but nowhere near as bad as people make him out to be. He's a god in low-wall loops and okay at dealing with long-range distances.
"Other killers can do what Trickster can do, but better."
That is somewhat true, but Trickster still has a lot more in comparison to killers such as Trapper, Myers, and Pig.
-
Hillbilly needs a reREwork. Rework his animations, rework or completely remove overheat, rework his add-ons (excluding LoPro), and bam.
-
No, I don't care because it shouldn't affect the fun of others as it is single-player. As long as they enjoy playing it the way they want, and as long as they're happy.
-
Extremely oppressive on Nurse, Spirit, Hag, and Doctor. Hell, it might even be good on Wraith or Clown.

Survivors will rush to exit gates usually once endgame starts, it won't have much more use than it currently does now with your suggestion.
Your suggestion leaves it essentially the same as it is which still isn't worthy of a perk slot compared to a stronger endgame perk like NOED.
No Way Out intends to be an endgame slowdown perk, not a second chance perk like NOED. Sometimes if they're trying to go for an unhook after hooking someone early in EGC they'll have one attempt to open a gate and the others attempt to go for the save. 42 seconds just doesn't cut it.

It's better but its still borderline useless similar to Bloodwarden. Outside of very lucky circumstances, it just isn't worth the perk slot.
It just needs to act more in sync with Bloodwarden IMO. Just make it so the second the exit gates are opened, the entity blocks the exit for the 10 secs + 4,6, and 8 for each additional token.
This can atleast surprise survivors who 99% exit gates.
If you are sacrificing 1-2 perk slots, it should actually feel like it's worth it.
I reckon this perk may be useful as an endgame slowdown perk for killers that struggle with map pressure. Exit gates are blocked when survivors go near it so that they don't stall it out.
