It's actually a pretty solid perk, but it deserves a mini buff tbh. It's a decent perk to run alone, however it works best with Pop. Kick a gen w/ Pop and then you won't need to worry about kicking the other gens for a bit, or if they miss the skill check, bingo.

I swear people seem to treat this game as an extreme power fantasy over other people.
Yeah, and it's a shame :/
-
- Git gud.
- Us killer mains should thank our survivor friends for giving us matches. We try to kill, they try to escape. If we constantly 4k every game without them standing a chance at all, they would straight-up leave us.
-
I 100% agree with this, meta is necessary for game balance.
-
Since keys have already been addressed, swf is fine with solo queue needing changes, and DS has already gotten its fix, I'm gonna have to say BT.
BT is a good perk, a well-designed yet powerful perk, however BT bodyblocking can still be annoying. I want them to remove collision from recently BT unhook survivors to make this less infuriating.

Call me selfish, but if the Billy nerf was the price it took to get more killer variety in all of my survivor matches, then so be it.
Billy was actually fun to play against though. After that, most of them moved onto Oni (which are even then still pretty uncommon atm) and most killers you'd go against will play Spirit or Freddy anyways.

Overheat doesnt come into play unless you're bad. This leaves either seeing a red bar growing around your power or needing to use his old dumb addons as the only reasons someone would think he's actually been nerfed or thinks he's less fun

Yeah his t1 is his worst part but as the title says if you had to rework him
I think tier 1 has the potential to be more useful, although atm it's something you need to get out of immediately.

Same.
Judging by what some others here are saying, these little #########'s are pretty hard to find, so I guess I should count myself lucky that I managed to find it within a couple seconds of it spawning.
Ditto :P
-
I got it on my first try, it was sort of a rough game but to be fair it was my first ever Oni game with Infectious, it ended with a 2k, but hey, at least I found Gnome Chompski on my first game for the mini event!
-
The solo queue experience. Relatable.

I just really really like winstreaking :<(
You shouldn't even count that game, seems like you had a great start but you got bummed by an exploiter :P
-
I would rework Tombstone Piece somehow.
Multistalk would be a nice addition, and buffing tier 1 while making it switchable would be nice. Like maybe he can switch to it after Myers gets past tier 2, and then after tier 3 ends he can switch back to tier 1/2 any time.
Tier 1 should make him a 4.4m/s killer, make him a trapless Trapper for tier 2, and give him the big stuff for tier 3.
I would also add faster pallet/generator/wall breaking speed for tier 3. Makes tier 3 more interesting maybe, while making him scary to play against and fun to play as with the changes I thought of.
-
Me want different models.
-
I can't wait for more of the devs to read this and add an overheat mechanic for Huntress.
Tbh all Huntress needs is optimized hitboxes for her hatchets.
-
If this ends up being the most eventful anniversary of DBD I will actually cream.

This is also fair. I need to play as killers more often. I have anxiety problems and it's difficult for me to play as killer because all of the attention is on me and any foolish mistakes I may make. But I'll never get better unless I practice. Thanks for not being rude about the topic.
It's alright, I get what you mean.

I appreciate all the information and advice but to be fair I'm a relatively new player, it would seem odd to have to know all of this in order to not be jumped by a killer that I run from before he's even visible. I've had people tell me "stay by vaults" and "always have your back to a wall", as if I can always control such things. I've also had others tell me to use Premonition and Spine Chill, and I can understand why they'd say that, but I don't otherwise find those perks all that great so it would seem like a waste to use half my slots just in case I happen to wind up facing one specific killer. And if it's anything that bugs me, it's just the simple fact that he didn't used to be like this. I found him to be a fair challenge like many of the other characters. I didn't think that he was low tier, I thought he was fine. I saw him win games, I saw him lose games. Now I see him win constantly. It's almost a guarantee that he'll be smacking people within the first ten or fifteen seconds of the game. It just seems a bit much. I'm fine with balancing and don't make a habit of complaining that the game is unfair, I just think that they've given him too much of an advantage (or perhaps too many advantages). I still don't know if his no longer needing to ring the bell is a glitch or a perk, but if it was intentional then to me that's basically the equivalent of taking away, say, the Doctor's terror radius. I mean the player should have SOME warning beyond merely a brief glint of blur if they happen to be looking in the right direction or far enough from a generator to hear him breathing.
Now, again, I'm trying to be fair: Someone who's more experienced at the game and / or better at looping wouldn't have the same problem, or at least it would be less of one, so I readily admit that some of this is on me. But I just simply didn't have these issues with the Wraith only a couple of weeks ago. I guess maybe at the end of the day what I'm saying is this: When I can tell that Nurse is the opponent in a match, I smile. When it's Wraith, I roll my eyes in exasperation. So I'm either doing something really right or really wrong. :P
Don't be afraid to play killer, it'll help you learn how other survivors play and how they play against specific killers.

The real tier list, not sorted in order in tiers. Once you have played the game for 5k hours playing both sides. This is the only tier list that makes sense.
Only thing of note is i do think blight is brushing up against that line, and as people get better with blight, we may see in time that he moves up a tier.
Oni and PH are no way in hell bad tier.
At least you gave Legion their own tier though.
-
I'm sorry, but why is Demo so low on this list?

for ph are you referring to him skinning that woman from the movie cuz yeah......
Yep, that ######### was wack. Never again.
-
Maybe he could have a secondary objective for the survivors with the pages? I'd expect him to have a teleporting ability and a stalking ability to represent how he's like in the games. Maybe a special attack with his tentacles that can be activated after stalking for a while, and the pages give his power a disadvantage but an advantage at the same time.
-
If Legion counts as all four at once, your ass is most likely grass. I can prob beat like one but nah all four will ######### me up.
Trickster you can probably beat in a fist fight, same with GF. Even with their weapons you can probably outplay them.
If Freddy gets you in his dream world, it's over for ya, no doubt. He's pretty weak outside of it though, so think like Quentin, I guess.
If Spirit got her katana then I'd say it's a 50/50.
Bubba is kind of an idiot, but then again he has that chainsaw of his. If you can confuse him you can probably beat him, but that's about it.
Pyramid Head is pretty damn slow but then again, after seeing what he did to that uhh... yeah. Nevermind, S-tier.

Oh someone already has but yeah, very cool concept OP that said though, my money would still be on Springtrap to be included if we did get a FNAF chapter because, well, he just makes the most sense.
Heh, speak of the devil.
And yeah Springtrap is most likely to appear in the game and although I'd prefer him this is still a cool concept.
-
Spirit is unbalanced, too powerful for her low skill ceiling, and doesn't take that much skill to play to begin with. She also has zero counterplay, and Stridor on her is ridiculously overpowered. Good Spirits that don't run Stridor still know how to play around it.
-
I'm fine with it tbh, it has counterplay (thanks Ascension) and I like that it's fair for our console buddies.
I honestly don't even know if it's possible to patch it out at this point. Getting it patched out is fine in my book, though.
-
Welp, people are going to get unreasonably angry at this...
Anyways, this is pretty cool!
Posts like these deserve more attention.

A feature now I guess.
They buffed the 3rd best killer in the game lmao.
Yep... they unintentionally buffed his flick. High DPI is useless now and I'm going to have to get used to getting unintended j-flicks by complete accident.
-
The perfect take for Wraith. Although I feel like All-Seeing is too powerful tbh
-
As a former Pig main, Pig is a weak killer, but the right killer for those who enjoy her. I definitely think she needs a full-on rework, her ambush is too inconsistent and even some of her add-ons are scuffed, the ones that affect her RBTs.
-
I really want to get a friend into this game but it's difficult because if I play with them they're going to get matched against rank 1 gods or smth.
-
I missed these posts, lol. Glad they're back.
Surge is one of my favorite perks in the game, but I feel like it needs a buff. Like maybe have it affect special attacks as well?
-
You forgot Blight btw, his base-kit alone is pretty powerful.
I'd probably put GF lower because he's pretty bad without recharge add-ons. If we talking add-ons then his placement makes sense. Other than that, pretty good list.
-
Although there's some placements I disagree with, I really like this list.
-
Oh god I literally just j-flicked by accident in a loop and got the hit on the Bill. What the hell is this lmao

This looks like both a nerf and buff to Victor.
Not being able to down an injured survivor with him is just reminiscent of Legion right now who is the worst killer in the game.
Final blow just looks like an un-counterable power. Killer instinct shows through lockers, which means you literally can't hide anywhere from Victor.
If he insta-downed everyone on successful pounces, I would win the match as Twins since I rarely miss any.
Your suggested nerf is too strong, and his buff is too strong to compensate for it.
I'd say...
1) Just give Victor a 30 second sunset period of being immune to kicks from when he is released. This would encourage long-range attacks which are more fun and what was intended with him anyway.
2) Allow him to be recalled at any time. He recharges his immunity while attached to charlotte.
3) Once he's out for 30 secs, he can be kicked at ANY time.
4) Allow him to chain pounces/jumps (super fun i'd imagine) from 1 survivor to another and cause deep wounds on any pounces. Grappling onto a healthy survivor won't automatically revert control to Charlotte.
5) Deep wounds bar automatically depletes regardless of running/moving while Victor is gnawing on your head (a real threat now).
Thanks for the constructive criticism, I'll keep it in mind.

Ouch, thanks anyways.

Blight has lots of room for counterplay compared to Spirit, so definitely not.

I'm glad that I and some others have been bitching enough about this for others to start taking notice.
I'm fine with the Wraith being able to cloak. I'm fine with the Wraith being able to move super fast while cloaked. All I ask is that when he decides to uncloak, I have a fair chance to get some distance, not just let him have a free hit every time. That was never happening to me before his update, now it happens on a consistent basis. It's too much.
I just posted this in another thread and am not trying to spam my channel (these vidoes are actually unlisted anyway) but I post this as an example. I'm in a room with one exit, a hole in the floor. There's a breakable door. The SECOND that I hear that door being hit, I bail. At the 11 second mark if you look SUPER CLOSE you can see just the Wraith's one foot uncloaking. In other words I jumped up and ran before the killer was even in the room, I was down the next floor before the Wraith even uncloaked, but he quickly ran over and was able to hit me anyway. What, in this scenario, did I do wrong? What could I have done differently to avoid the hit? In what way could I have defended myself against a free hit here?
You didn't work with anything on the map.
-
IMO he's leaning towards the level of the average killer. Sloppy is pretty scuffed on him though (to be fair, that perk shouldn't even exist to begin with, lazy design and boring to play against) and same goes with the purple add-on that gives him info. Other than that, he's a basic M1 killer.
He's pretty much the same killer, just with one of his most necessary add-ons added to his base-kit, which was requested for a while.
-
Hell yeah, I hope when Pig gets her update she gets music added to her RBTs.
-
I hope, someday. He's the final puzzle piece, ofc there are extra pieces but yeah.
-
aw yeah
Now those few arrogant J-flickers can't tell me how to play my boy!
-
I use the new locker charm from the current rift on me Dweet.
Ain't he just a cutie?
