I completely agree with you but tbh both sides ######### about whatever. Survivors complain about camping, tunneling, and slugging, while killers complain about stealth, W meta, looping, all that razzle dazzle.
I personally hate going against tunnelers and immersive survivors but I don't really care much about it and if I die or get 0-1 kills then I just move onto the next game. Plus, tunneling and stealth is necessary in this game, so meh.
-
And for his first add-on... Kid's Drawing for the lulz. Let's see if someone adds a fake pallet add-on to cancel it out lol.
EDIT: ######### I just realized I have to do the build and I'm not home, ignore this comment
-
He's like, the most average killer in the game. He's the lowest of the B tier in my opinion, majority of the killers are better than him because he's looped like a regular M1 killer in decent loops. Just rework his "All-Seeing" - Blood.
Crazy that people still think the big guy is OP.
-
Playing Blight, Billy, and Trickster on RPD has been the most painful experiences in DBD.
It's not that I'm not used to it, it's that it's so damn hard to use your power as those killers in that map.
I'm afraid we're going to have to deal with it.
-
I haven't done the yellow glyph yet but I did it in my dream. Someone said it moves so it literally moved and I had to chase it in the Yamaoka Estate. Skill checks were exactly how I saw them except the great parts were yellow, larger, and glowy.
Sorry, I was rambling there, but it sounds fun.
-
People don't like that they run the same Ruindying + Tinkerer, with a side of BBQ or PGTW, which is fairly reasonable tbh.
I like Blight though, he's a very balanced killer.
-
If you've lurked on the forums often, we've seen these posts every now and then.

I had a VPNer bring one and it made one of their teammates insta DC.
Pain.
-
That's pretty much why so many people enjoy playing against Billy, Oni, and Blight. They're good at chasing, they have fun counterplay, and they have great 1v4. And yeah I agree, I'm tired of killers that are focused on powerful chase instead of 1v4.
-
Hag, Huntress, and Demogorgon.
-
I feel like this is just going to bring in those people who are doing a little trolling to spam their RPD badges.
-
Agreed, Twins is so ######### boring to play as and against. They're a solo queue destroyer because good Twins players require coordination to play against, so SWF is more effective in beating them.
To be fair though, it's preference really.
-
Holy ######### that's actually really cool.

I wouldn't say it was a health patch as it weren't entirely focus on fixing the game when there changes to trickster and two of his perks.
But it did improve most of the performance (there are some stutter from time to time) so I give them that.
They only changed one killer though, who was bound to get changed this mid-chapter because they change a newly released killer after two mid-chapters.
Also, they do balancing for most of the mid-chapters. 4.5.0 gave Clown an expansion to his kit, changed 4 perks, and gave a minor buff to Wraith (true invisibility) as well as giving Trapper a QoL change. This update focuses on the game's health and I'm grateful for that.
-
Pretty much what you said. Crouch speed, reveal system fixes, Chewed Pen + Address Book base-kit then rework those add-ons, and add-on changes in general.
And yeah I think GF's iri add-ons are pretty well-designed. Maybe buff Outdoor Security Camera a bit though, like increase its duration to 6 or 8 seconds.

Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding but Billy as in Hillbilly? I run into him VERY consistently, and find him quite a struggle to paly against as a survivor (Also a new player so that's probably why) but I find matches where people paly Hillbilly like 1 in every 3 games, I see him more than any other Killer
Yeah, Billy is Hillbilly. People were playing Billy for a whole week (including me) during July 20-27th because of the #FreeBilly tag on Twitter so that's likely why more people were playing him.
To play against Billy you need to learn how to loop properly, he's a fun killer to play against.
-
I mean, we asked for a health update, and this is pretty much the health update we asked for. Hits through pallets are more fair, model reworks, optimization... I'm not really disappointed.

@Troman said:
"W meta" LMAO, someone tell those "W meta complainers" how silly they look
Meta = the most effective items/techniques. For example, Dead Hard, Iron Will, and Unbreakable are meta perks because they are powerful and hold up in the metagame.
Holding W is the best strategy against majority of the killers. Holding W IS the meta, because getting distance against killers that can't close distances well is the best strategy. That's why we call it W meta.
-
He kinda seems reliant on Iron Maiden because of his low amount of blades. IM seems to make him a lot more enjoyable but I still prefer the previous Trickster.

Keep repeating streamers, bro.
Laceration still ticked down fast and you could counter it with LOS blockers.
So you can't have an opinion that popular people have? What kind of mindset is this?
-
Killer queue was usually short so it's only fair that survivors have longer queue times during the blood hunt.

Oh my God as survivor it feels absolutely beautiful. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy being able to drop a pallet on a killer and they actually get stunned instead of hitting me, teleporting through the pallet, and then retuning to the original side getting stunned because for some reason EU servers are filled with players with over 500 ping at night.
(had a game as wraith, didn't really try any pallet hits so can't tell if they were robbed but it was RPD so I stopped playing killer for the night)
RPD is pain, can't say I blame you.

in my opinion with 2k of main killer hours, the legion is the only balanced killer in the game, the one you have to train for is very good not equal to some "killers" (nurse, hag and others) that the first time playing with they no perk and no addon on the red rank the guy makes 4k easy.
"Only balanced killer"
Billy? Oni? Blight? Demo?

I would recommend finished posts more than likely since it's better for that.
I would also recommend that you and anyone else try to title your "feedback" posts with headers at the start so it can be distinguishable from the main chatting.
I see, thank you.

There's no need to apologize, but I re-iterate what I said in the OP; one subject per post.
And probably to avoid a lot of shenanigans, maybe no multi-posting one after another. Would give people time to breathe and read others' ideas.
Ah, I see.
So maybe a post once in a while?
Should I edit my post to only include the threads I'm working on, or edit it to only include one of the threads and exclude the other thread as well as the threads I'm working on?
-
I like the idea of this thread. I really hope it works out.
Headers are hyperlinked!
KILLER DIFFICULTIES, MY VERSION

Pretty much this tbh.
Everyone will get used to them in about a month or so.

Yeah I completely agree with you. I don't care if he's stronger, he's not as fun as he used to be.

i literally hit them while vigorated as the challenge says, is the only one remaining for me as killer in this level. bugged as the game is.
I dunno, I was able to get it today. You have to do it in one game. Try reopening your game and retrying it or smth
-
Dream Projection is a fun zoning tool that you can use mid-chase to catch a survivor off-guard. I find the dream pallets more fun, but the snares are more powerful.
For snares, try to predict where the survivors would go. If they walk around them, it will screw them over because you can walk on them yourself without getting slowed down.

This is unironically the funniest reply I've seen all day. 11/10.
-
You have to M1 a survivor while you're invigorated. Don't hit them with the bottle itself.
-
I'm happy that you're enjoying killer. Killer is a blast to play, even if it's stressful and painful at times.
As someone with social anxiety, I'm tired with people saying "it's just words on the screen, move on." Is it really that hard to understand that not everyone is the same mentality-wise? Death threats and hate messages can seriously hurt a person mentally. And the crazy thing is that people do this, sending death threats, slurs, and hate speech, over a ######### video game. Over Dead by Daylight.
When I first started playing DBD I was very shy and afraid of playing killer because I wouldn't have teammates this time, I was alone. I was also afraid of toxicity in the endgame chat. I grew onto it and was able to see that even though there were sometimes the bad eggs, there were also the wholesome moments every now and then!
I'm more afraid of playing DBD in solo queue because I fear of what my teammates think of me if I do something -2 IQ. I guess since I'm an introvert I like to do things alone, which is why I play killer better than surv.
I wish you luck on your killer adventures, and I hope you'll find your main killer (unless you main variety, lol)! 💜
Sorry, I'm not very good at concluding.

I don’t see how anyone can think he’s weaker. His base kit is just straight up better and some of his addons are broken OP at the moment.
I had people calling hacks the first game I used the exploding blades + the piercing blades because they down in 4 blades if you are shooting people through the feet.
You pop main event on someone and they literally melt. Unhooking against him is now significantly more dangerous.
You have to reload every minute or two because the knives deplete quickly, and you're likely to run out of blades during a chase. 44 blades doesn't cut it, and you need the more knives add-ons or the laceration delay add-on to make him more enjoyable. Also, you're even more likely to run out of blades because of the faster decay.
Cut Thru U + Edge of Revival makes it a lot easier, I agree on that one, and the new Main Event is a lot better, I also agree on that. However Main Event takes a lot longer to charge up.
I don't think buffing his camping potential is any better either.
ANYWAYS, I guess I'll just try playing him more to see how it goes.
-
For now I'll leave him be on my tier list until he gets more feedback. From what I've seen so far, he seems less fun to enjoy because of the fact that they gave him less blades, nerfing his 1v4. In general he seems... not just less fun, but weaker.

Yeah Demo is perfect as it is I was just mocking OP.
-
Are you calling one of the most iconic slashers in the history of films generic?
Also keep in mind that he's the ORIGINAL masked machete man.
-
Hello!
Yo, this is pretty cool! I like the idea of a killer that has to do skill checks. Also it seems very fitting for Chucky. Andy has some fun perks too.
How does Your Best Friend work though?

The post is not talking about scoot surfing which is what Otz is showing. OP is talking about sliding when you are looking straight into an object. Its super annoying, I've actually slide off an entire loop while just trying bump once to break a pallet.....
Yeah I know, that's why I said "not in the way you think."

what? revert the 6 knife change but keep the usb stick the way it is?
no thanks
Huntress 2.0 that takes no skill? No thanks. At least the previous Trickster took skill.
How about 7 knifes to injure base-kit instead? Maybe that'd be fair.
-
I'm in! #MakeBillyGreatAgain
To everyone here: Try playing Billy with the yellow Punctured Muffler add-on and see how it goes compared to base-kit Billy.
-
He's miserable to play on PC. I can't speak for console players since I don't play on console/controller though.
As you said, the main issues are the fact that he has less blades and the laceration decay starts so damn quickly. I don't think he needs a rework, just revert all of these changes (except the add-on changes excluding Melodious Murder and the initial throw rate add-ons, they're actually pretty good) then keep the new Main Event or something.
-
Why is Clown on this list? He's literally bae.
Anyways, Susie.
-
Aw, no funny outcome possible out of this post anymore. No clue why the mods edited it out, but whatever, clap clap clap.
At least the replies are wholesome.

I am not a great wraith player but here my advice on unsafe pallets against him.
At an unsafe pallet, a good wraith will either uncloack on it or on the other side of the loop depending on where you went:
- If he is uncloaking on the pallets wait one second so that he commit and run in the opposite direction if you can, or run immediately if you are afraid or injured. Depending on the layout of the map a 2 second headstart may allow you to get somewhere else. If he stops uncloaking pay close attention to him, if he tries to bodyblock you turn and go back to that same pallet, it's bad for you, but it's better than being in a dead zone. If he uncloaking while breathing down your neck, i hope you know how to 360 because that may be your last option (only 360 if you are injured, if you are healthy just take the hit and relocate to a stronger tile or a TL where wraith is at its weakest)
- If he is uncloaking on the other side, NEVER try to react to his lunge unless you are really confident in your reaction time. Just stay in the middle of the pallet and when he is nearly unclocked run for one of the sides and put the pallet down, it's basicaly a 50/50 but that's better than hoping you will react to a mach 20 wraith lunging at you.
Yeah, unsafe pallets can actually be used pretty well against Wraith depending on how you use them.
-
I think The Game could be a great map if they make it have less safe pallets. Badham COULD be a good map if it weren't so damn big and didn't have a bunch of safe areas. Everything else is absolute dogshit.

You're kidding right? I'm trying to hit an object and get a lethal rush to hit someone not slide and waste my rush what kind of logic is this...
I mean, you COULD use it to your advantage, but not in the way you think.
Daddy Otz did something like this in the beginning of this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfn2PO2mqnA -
Just revert him entirely, other than his add-on updates. He's now Huntress 2.0 but no longer unique compared to her. At least the previous Trickster was fun to play as, this version of him is so miserable to play as and against.
I'll gladly take 8 blades to damage over 44 blades base and 6 blades to damage, as well as quick laceration.
